We define and investigate some new ideals of subsets of the Cantor space and the Baire space. We show that combinatorial properties of these ideals can be described by the splitting and reaping cardinal numbers. We show that there exist perfect Luzin sets for these ideals on the Baire space.

We introduce and study almost compactness for fuzzy topological spaces. We show that the almost continuous image of an almost compact fuzzy topological space is almost compact. Moreover, we show that generally almost compactness for fuzzy topological spaces is not product-invariant, but if X and Y are almost fuzzy topological spaces and X is product related to Y, then their fuzzy topological product is almost compact. 相似文献

We prove some properties of fuzzy almost continuous mappings and define fuzzy almost open mappings. We prove that under a fuzzy almost continuous and fuzzy almost open map, the inverse image of a fuzzy regularly open set is fuzzy regularly open. Further we define a new type of fuzzy separation axioms, fuzzy almost separation axioms. It is interesting that there are some deviations in the behaviour of these axioms as compared to those in general topology. For example, in a fuzzy almost T1 space not every fuzzy singleton is δ-closed. Also a fuzzy space which is fuzzy almost

Cartan spaces equipped with almost complex and almost antiquaternion structures are considered. The Hermitian metrics of almost complex Cartan spaces are found. It is proved that in the Cartan spaces there always exist Kählerian metrics. In this paper geodesic mappings of equidistant generalized Riemannian spaces are discussed. It is proved that each equidistant generalized Riemannian space of basic type admits non-trivial geodesic mapping with preserved equidistant congruence. In this paper we study the effect of mappings and some decompositions of continuity on nearly Lindelöf spaces. It is well known that if is infinite compact Hausdorff and scattered (i.e., with no perfect subsets), then the Banach space of continuous functions on has complemented copies of , i.e., . We address the question if this could be the only type of decompositions of into infinite-dimensional summands for infinite, scattered. Making a special set-theoretic assumption such as the continuum hypothesis or Martin's axiom we construct an example of Mrówka's space (i.e., obtained from an almost disjoint family of sets of positive integers) which answers positively the above question.

This paper considers the problem of n-widths of a Sobolev function class Ωr∞ determined by Pr(D) = Dσ∏lj =1(D2- t2jI) in Orlicz spaces. The relationship between the extreme value problem and width theory is revealed by using the methods of functional analysis. Particularly, as σ = 0 or σ = 1, the exact values of Kolmogorov's widths, Gelfand's widths, and linear widths are obtained respectively, and the related extremal subspaces and optimal linear operators are given. 相似文献
