Metallfällungen mit 2,4,5- und 2,4,6- Trichlorphenylarsonsäure

Zusammenfassung Die der Phenylarsonsäure eigene und an sich durch die -AsO₃H₂-Gruppe gegebene Fähigkeit zur Metallsalzbildung wird durch die Einführung von drei Chloratomen in den Kern teilweise sehr verstärkt. Das Ausmaß der Erniedrigung der p_H-Werte des Beginnes der Metallfällungen läßt sich aus analogen Veränderungen, die bei den verschiedenen Mono-chlorphenylarsonsäuren auftreten, und deren Summierung erklären.Der Einfluß der sterischen Hinderung durch einfache oder zweifache o-Substitution läßt sich bei 2,4,5- bzw. 2,4,6-Trichlorphenylarsonsäure einwandfrei beobachten.

Summary The innate ability of phenylarsonic acid to form metal salts which resides in its AsO₃H₂-group is in part very much enhanced by the introduction of three chlorine atoms into the nucleus. The extent of the lowering of the p_H values of the beginning of the metal precipitations can be explained through analogous changes which occur in the case of the various mono-chlorophenylarsonic acids and their general review. The influence of the steric hindrance by single or twofoldortho-substitution can be seen clearly in the case of 2,4,5- and 2,4,6-trichlorophenylarsonic acid.

Résumé L'aptitude de l'acide phenylarsonique à donner un sel métallique, dont le groupe AsO₃H₂ est responsable, se trouve fortement renforcée par l'introduction partielle de trois atomes de chlore dans le noyau. La mesure de l'abaissement de la valeur du p_H de début de précipitation des métaux peut s'expliquer par des modifications analogues, qui se produisent chez les différents acides monochlorophénylarsoniques et par leur addition. On peut observer l'influence de l'effet stérique par une mono ou bisubstitution en ortho, chez les acides trichlorphénylarsoniques 2.4,5 ou 2,4,6.

Zur Kinetik der Reaktion von Isobutylidenmeldrumsäure und von 3-Methyl-2-äthoxycarbonylbutyliden-1-meldrumsäure mit Diazoessigsäureäthylester

Zusammenfassung Die Umsetzungen von Isobutylidenmeldrumsäure bzw. von 3-Methyl-2-äthoxycarbonylbutyliden-1-meldrumsäure mit Diazoessigester folgen Geschwindigkietsgesetzen 2. Ordnung. Aus der Temperaturabhängigkeit der Reaktionsgeschwindigkeitskonstanten errechnen sich Aktivierungsparameter, die jenen der 1,3-dipolaren Cycloaddition entsprechen. Diese Werte ändern sich nur wenig bei Übergang zu Lösungsmitteln unterschiedlicher Polarität. Die Ergebnisse lassen auf thermisch labile 1-Pyrazoline als Zwischenprodukte schließen, die dann zu den bekannten, stickstoffreien, stabilen Reaktionsprodukten zerfallen.

Kinetics of the reaction of isobutylidene meldrum's acid and of 3-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonylbutylidene meldrum's acid with ethyl diazoacetate

The reaction of either isobutylidenmeldrum acid or 3-methyl-2-ethoxycarbonylbutyliden-1-Meldrum acid with ethyl diazoacetate exhibits second order kinetics. The values of the activation parameters, calculated from the temperature dependence of the rate constants, correspond to those obtained from 1,3 dipolar cyclo-addition reactions. These values are altered only slightly when the polarity of the solvent is changed. These results suggest that the reaction proceeds via a thermally labile 1-pyrazoline which then decomposes to give nitrogen and the observed products.

β-(4-Nitrophenyl)-α,α′-dichlor-hydracrylsäure

Zusammenfassung Basenkatalysierte Kondensation von 4-Nitrobenzaldehyd mit Dichloracetonitril in Methanol lieferte ein als Methyliminoäther aufgefaßtes Kondensationsprodukt, dessen salzsaure Hydrolyse die im Titel genannte Säure ergab. Sie erwies sich als völlig ident mit einem Präparat, das in einer vorigen Arbeit durch Hydrolyse des 2-[-(4-Nitrophenyl)--oxy-,-dichlormethyl]-oxazolin erhalten wurde.

Ohne ZusammenfassungKonzentrierte Schwefelsäure wurde bei gelindem Erwämen blaßrossa, auf Zusatz von mäßig verdünnter Salpeteräure dunkellila.Für die Bereitstellung von Mitteln bin ich Herrn Professor H.Mark abermals zu großem Dank verpflichtet.     

Bestimmung Von Molybdän Nach Extraction Mit O,O,S - Triäthyldithiophosphat

Abstract

The interaction of molybdenum(V) with potassium thiocyanate in a medium of O,O,S-triethyldithiophosphate [(C₂H₅O)₂P(S)SC₂H₅] and ethanol at a ratio 4:1 has been studied.

The stability constant of the molybdenum(V) thiocyanate complex was determined to be 7.6 × 10² with a molar ratio Mo(v) : SCN of 1:1. A new method based on the formation of the molybdenum-thiocyanate complex in the organic phase has been developed for the determination of molybdenum in steel.
