In production practice, firms usually produce multi-products rather than single products to obtain cost-saving advantages, cater for the diversity of consumer tastes and provide a barrier to entry. Based on nonlinear and economics theories, this paper establishes a discrete triopoly dynamical model which considers multi-product firms with heterogeneous expectations: naïve, adaptive and bounded rationality expectations. The discrete model is described by a 6-dimensional dynamical system. Thesis explores the path of the complexity of evolution and its intrinsic regularity, studies the influence of parameter change on the sensitivity level. The stable conditions of Cournot Nash equilibrium point are analyzed. The route to complex dynamics is investigated using 2-D and creative 3-D bifurcation diagrams by numerical experiment. The results show: the adaptive parameters can modify the stability of the market, but cannot lead to chaos independently; the bounded rationality parameters can arouse chaos for the whole market; larger differentiated degree of multi-product can suppress instability which is caused by adaptive and bounded rationality adjustment parameters. These results have significant theoretical and practical value to multi-product triopoly game with heterogeneous expectations in related markets.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a Cournot–Bertrand mixed duopoly model with different expectations, where the market has linear demand and the firms have fixed marginal cost functions. Two firms choose output and price as decision variables, respectively, under the assumption that there is a certain degree of differentiation between the products offered by firms to avoid the whole market is occupied by the one that applies a lower price. The two players are considered to have bounded rational and static expectations. The existence and local stability condition of Nash equilibrium is investigated. We find the stability region of Cournot–Bertrand system is bigger than that of Cournot or Bertrand system under the same conditions. Furthermore, there are two different kinds of bifurcations when the parameters pass through the different boundary curves of the stability region, which is different from the Cournot or Bertrand model. Numerical simulation method is used to display the dynamic behaviors of the dynamical system, such as periodic cycles, bifurcation diagrams and strange attractors of the systems. The economic explanations of the complex dynamic behaviors are also given.  相似文献

A triopoly price game model has been established based on nonlinear and economics theories in this paper, and all 3 firms of triopoly market are supposed to make a price decision with bounded rationality. By discrete dynamical system theory and jury condition, we obtain the expression of Nash equilibrium point’s stable region. Then traditional two-dimensional and creative three-dimensional diagrams of the local stable region are given by numerical simulation, and both 2D and 3D diagrams showed us some law about the Nash equilibrium point’s stable region. First, the number of time-delay decision makers has no necessary relationship with system stability; Second, under the same number of time-delay decision makers, the delay parameter has a positive influence of system stability, i.e., the price making relying more on current period profits can lower the system risk of falling into chaos. These results have significant theoretical and practical value to the price making of firms in related markets.  相似文献

In this paper, a nonlinear quadropoly game based on Cournot model with fully heterogeneous players is established. This game extends the model introduced by Tramontana and Elsadany (Nonlinear Dyn 68:187–193, 2012) who considered a heterogeneous triopoly game with an isoelastic demand function. Here, four different types of players and potentially different marginal costs are considered. Moreover, the assumption of an isoelastic demand function increases the nonlinearity of the final four-dimensional map. The stability of the resulting discrete-time dynamical system is analyzed. The existence of Neimark–Sacker bifurcation near the Nash equilibrium point of the game is shown. Also, based on the Kuznetsov’s normal form technique for discrete-time system, the stability of the Neimark–Sacker bifurcation is also discussed which indicates that the bifurcation is supercritical. Moreover, it is shown that the Nash equilibrium point of the game undergoes period-doubling (flip) bifurcation. Furthermore, the double route to chaotic dynamics in this model, via flip bifurcations and via Neimark–Sacker bifurcation of the Nash equilibrium point, is illustrated. Coexistence of multi-chaotic attractors of the model is illustrated. Simulation tools like bifurcation diagrams, stability regions of parameters, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, phase plots and basins of attraction are used to verify the complex dynamics of the game.  相似文献

This paper uses the theory of bifurcations of dynamical systems, considering R&D input competition model in oligopoly market with heterogeneous rationality. We assume that cooperation, as well as competition, exists among the oligarchs, which are closer to reality and different from previous studies. On the basis of analyzing the stabilities of four fixed points in the three-dimensional dynamic system, a local stable region of Nash equilibrium is obtained. Simulation results show that the adjustment of R&D input speed has an obvious impact on the complexity of competition, and also show that the system profit will decrease when it is in chaos. So this paper discusses the application of parameters control method when the model is in chaos and then allows the oligarchs to eliminate the negative effects.  相似文献

This series of papers is prepared to develop systematically the complicated dynamical behaviors of nonlinear ecosystem and its internal mechanism. In this paper, we state briefly the increasing importance of ecology, describe and comment on the situations and reasons why ecology theory is behind practice. Then, we point out a procedure which modern ecology research should obey, and discuss the four basic characteristics of ecosystem in detail: level, opening, nonlinear and far from equilibrium. At last, we discuss systematically equilibrium and nonequilibrium, stable and unstable, environmental stochasticity and dynamical stochasticity, and conclude that there exists a bridge between deterministic behaviors and stochastic behaviors, which will result in a new model for ecological prediction.Supported by Youth Fund of Chinese Academy of Science and Youth Fund of Lanzhou University.  相似文献

Based on the actual competition in the Chinese property insurance market, the repeated price game model for four oligarchs with different decision rules is built. On the basis of analyzing the stabilities of eight fixed points about the four-dimensional dynamic system, the Nash equilibrium and its local stable region are discussed mainly. Then the complexity of the four-dimensional discrete dynamic system and its evolutionary process are studied. Finally, the delay feedback control method is used to control the chaos. Numerical simulation results have shown that the influence which the change of price adjustment speed has on the movement of dynamic system has a sensitive dependence on the initial conditions, and there is a strong connection between the profit of each oligarch and the price adjustment speed or the control parameters, and the corresponding economic explanation to those phenomena will have important reference values to the realistic problems.  相似文献

This paper first formulates a Hamiltonian system with hyperchaotic phenomena and investigates the equilibrium point and double Hopf bifurcation of the system. We obtain the result that the Hamiltonian system has hyperchaotic behaviors when any system parameter varies. The influences of holonomic constraint and nonholonomic constraint on the equilibrium points, invariance and the hyperchaotic state of the Hamiltonian system are then studied. Finally, we achieve the hyperchaotic control of the Hamiltonian system by introducing the constraint method. The studies indicate that the constraint can not only change the Hamiltonian system from hyperchaotic state to periodic state or chaotic state, but also make the Hamiltonian system become globally asymptotically stable. Numerical simulations, including Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation diagrams, Poincaré maps and phase portraits for systems, exhibit the complex dynamical behaviors.  相似文献

谐波齿轮减速器是一种新型的传动装置, 因其具有诸多的优点, 因而得到了广泛应用. 谐波齿轮减速器涉及不同振荡尺度之间的耦合作用, 这通常会诱发复杂的快慢振荡, 严重影响了谐波齿轮系统的正常工作. 本文考虑涉及扭转刚度非线性因素的谐波齿轮系统, 旨在研究系统的快慢动力学, 揭示新型的快慢振荡机制. 首先, 构建了非线性扭转刚度下的谐波齿轮系统的快慢动力学模型. 然后, 通过改变扭转刚度系数, 得到了系统从常规振荡向快慢振荡的转迁过程. 接着, 简要地论述了有关快慢系统的基础理论. 在此基础上, 采用快慢分析法研究了快子系统的动力学特性, 揭示了快慢振荡的产生机制. 研究表明, 当系统参数改变时, 快子系统的平衡点曲线并未发生失稳或分岔; 然而, 在某一点附近, 平衡点曲线能够产生急剧量变, 其特征是平衡点在局部小范围内可以在正坐标值与负坐标值之间快速转迁. 在此基础上, 揭示了一种诱发快慢振荡的新型动力学机制, 比较了这种诱发机制与其他相关机制之间的区别. 本文丰富了系统通向快慢振荡的路径, 为实际谐波齿轮传动系统中的快慢振荡机理与控制研究提供参考.   相似文献

In this paper, dynamical behaviors for a competition and cooperation model of two enterprises with two delays are investigated. By choosing the diverse delay as a bifurcation parameter, we show that the complex Hopf bifurcation phenomenon at the positive equilibrium of the system can occur as the diverse delay crosses some critical values. Finally, some numerical simulations supporting our theoretical results and the economic meaning of the model are also presented.  相似文献

Objectives of the paper are (1) to design two new real and complex no equilibrium point hyperchaotic systems, (2) to design synchronisation technique for the new systems using the contraction theory and (3) to validate the results by using circuit realisation. First a new no equilibrium point hyperchaotic system is developed using a 3-D generalised Lorenz system; then using the new system a new complex no equilibrium point hyperchaotic system is reported. Both the new systems have hidden chaotic attractors. Various dynamical behaviours are observed in the new systems like chaotic, periodic, quasi-periodic and hyperchaotic. Both the systems have inverse crisis route to chaos with the variation of parameter a and crisis route to chaos with the variation of parameters \(b,\ c\) and d. These phenomena along with hidden attractors in a complex hyperchaotic system are not seen in the literature. Synchronisation between the identical new hyperchaotic systems is achieved using the contraction theory. Further the synchronisation between the identical new complex hyperchaotic systems is achieved using adaptive contraction theory. The proposed synchronisation strategies are validated using the MATLAB simulation and circuit implementation results. Further, an application of the proposed system is shown by transmitting and receiving an audio signal.  相似文献

In this paper, stability and local bifurcation behaviors for the nonlinear aeroelastic model of an airfoil with external store are investigated using both analytical and numerical methods. Three kinds of degenerated equilibrium points of bifurcation response equations are considered. They are characterized as (1) one pair of purely imaginary eigenvalues and two pairs of conjugate complex roots with negative real parts; (2) two pairs of purely imaginary eigenvalues in nonresonant case and one pair of conjugate complex roots with negative real parts; (3) three pairs of purely imaginary eigenvalues in nonresonant case. With the aid of Maple software and normal form theory, the stability regions of the initial equilibrium point and the explicit expressions of the critical bifurcation curves are obtained, which can lead to static bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation. Under certain conditions, 2-D tori motion may occur. The complex dynamical motions are considered in this paper. Finally, the numerical solutions achieved by the fourth-order Runge–Kutta method agree with the analytic results.  相似文献

This paper details the research of the Cournot–Bertrand duopoly model with the application of nonlinear dynamics theory. We analyze the stability of the fixed points by numerical simulation; from the result we found that there exists only one Nash equilibrium point. To recognize the chaotic behavior of the system, we give the bifurcation diagram and Lyapunov exponent spectrum along with the corresponding chaotic attractor. Our study finds that either the change of output modification speed or the change of price modification speed will cause the market to the chaotic state which is disadvantageous for both of the firms. The introduction of chaos control strategies can bring the market back to orderly competition. We exert control on the system with the application of the state feedback method and the parameter variation control method. The conclusion has great significance in theory innovation and practice.  相似文献

簇发振荡普遍存在.探索通向簇发振荡的可能路径是簇发研究的热点问题之一."脉冲式爆炸(pulsed-shaped explosion,PSE)"是一种最近被报道的可以诱发簇发振荡的新机制,其特征为平衡点和极限环表现出了与参数变化相关的脉冲式急剧量变.PSE会导致系统轨线急剧跃迁,从而诱发典型的簇发振荡.然而,目前报道的PSE中仅含有"单向的尖峰",未发现"双向的尖峰",且由其诱发的簇发振荡仅含单向的振荡簇.本文以多频激励Rayleigh系统为例,旨在揭示PSE的不同表现形式以及与此相关的簇发动力学.利用频率转换快慢分析法得到了Rayleigh系统的快子系统和慢变量.针对快子系统的分析表明,PSE表现出了较为复杂的动力学特性,其特征是PSE包含了正负双向两个不同的尖峰,此即所谓的正负双向PSE.其急剧量变行为,导致了系统轨线在单个振荡周期内出现正向和负向的多次跃迁,由此得到了由正负双向PSE所诱发的簇发振荡.根据吸引子类型分别揭示了点--点型和环--环型两类簇发振荡模式的产生机制.本文的研究给出了PSE的不同表现形式,丰富了多时间尺度下的簇发振荡的诱发机制.   相似文献

众所周知,平面自治系统即使具有光滑非线性存在,系统也不会出现复杂的动力学行为。本文研究这样的系统存在时滞时,时滞量对系统的动力学行为的影响。通过对一个平面自治非线性系统引入时滞反馈,得到数学模型。利用泛函分析和平均法建立系统平衡态随时滞量变化的失稳机理,研究表明:时滞量平面自治系统动力学行为的影响是本质的.时滞量不但可以使系统出现Hopf分岔,产生周期振动。而且还可以使系统出现多稳态的周期运动或周期吸引子,这些共存的吸引子相碰是导致系统复杂的动力学行为,包括概周期和混沌运动。  相似文献

In this paper, a new three-dimensional autonomous system with complex dynamical behaviors is reported. This new system has three quadratic nonlinear terms and one constant term. One remarkable feature of the system is that it can generate multiple chaotic and multiple periodic attractors in a wide range of system parameters. The presence of coexisting chaotic and periodic attractors in the system is investigated. Moreover, it is easily found that the new system also can generate four-scroll chaotic attractor. Some basic dynamical behaviors of the system are investigated through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.  相似文献

簇发振荡是自然界和科学技术中广泛存在的快慢动力学现象,其具有与通常的振荡显著不同的特性.根据不同的动力学机制可将其分为多种模式,例如,点-点型簇发振荡和点-环型簇发振荡等.叉型滞后簇发振荡是由延迟叉型分岔诱发的一类具有简单动力学特性的点-点型簇发振荡.研究以多频参数激励Duffing系统为例,旨在揭示一类与延迟叉型分岔相关的具有复杂动力学特性的簇发振荡,即串联式叉型滞后簇发振荡.考虑了一个参激频率是另一个的整倍数情形,利用频率转换快慢分析法得到了多频参数激励Duffing系统的快子系统和慢变量,分析了快子系统的分岔行为.研究结果表明,快子系统可以产生两个甚至多个叉型分岔点;当慢变量穿越这些叉型分岔点时,形成了两个或多个叉型滞后簇发振荡;这些簇发振荡首尾相接,最终构成了所谓的串联式叉型滞后簇发振荡.此外,分析了参数对串联式叉型滞后簇发振荡的影响.   相似文献

A new three-dimensional double-wing chaotic system with three quadratic terms was proposed. And the parameters which can induce the system are analyzed. The system with five equilibrium points has sophisticated dynamical behaviors and it is further investigated in details, including phase trajectory, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, Poincaré map, spectrogram map and dissipativity analysis. The circuit simulation results of the chaotic attractors are in agreement with numerical simulations. Furthermore, numerical simulations indicate that mismatch synchronization can be achieved and circuit simulations of the system synchronization are also presented.  相似文献
