In this paper, we study fractional differential inclusions with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We prove the existence of a solution under both convexity and nonconvexity conditions on the multi-valued right-hand side. The proofs rely on nonlinear alternative Leray–Schauder type, Bressan–Colombo selection theorem and Covitz and Nadler’s fixed point theorem for multi-valued contractions. The compactness of the set solutions and relaxation results is also established. In the last section we consider the fractional boundary value problem with infinite delay.  相似文献

In this work, we study the existence and regularity of solutions for some partial functional integrodifferential equations with infinite delay in Banach spaces. We suppose that the undelayed part admits a resolvent operator in the sense of Grimmer [R. Grimmer, Resolvent operators for integral equations in a Banach space, Transactions of the American Mathematical Society 273 (1982) 333–349]. The delayed part is assumed to be locally Lipschitz. Firstly, we show the existence of the mild solutions. Secondly, we give sufficient conditions ensuring the existence of strict solutions.  相似文献

This article studies the existence of solutions to boundary-value problems for second order multi-valued perturbed differential inclusions under the mixed Lipschitz and Carathéodory conditions. The existence of extremal solutions is also obtained under certain monotonicity conditions and the weaker nonconvexity conditions for multi-valued functions.  相似文献

The derivatives of the Cauchy kernels on compact Riemann surfaces generate singular integral operators analogous to the Calderón-Zigmund operators with the kernel (t - z)2 on the complex plane. These operators play an important role in studying elliptic differential equations, boundary value problems, etc. We consider here the most important case of the multi-valued Cauchy kernel with real normalization of periods. In the opposite plane case, such an operator is not unitary. Nevertheless, its norm in L2 is equal to one. This result is used to study multi-valued solutions of elliptic differential systems.  相似文献

We introduce one scalar function f of a complex variable and finitely many parameters, which allows to represent all solutions of the so-called hypergeometric system of Okubo type under the assumption that one of the two coefficient matrices has all distinct eigenvalues. In the simplest non-trivial situation, f is equal to the hypergeometric function, while in other more complicated cases it is related, but not equal, to the generalized hypergeometric functions. In general, however, this function appears to be a new higher transcendental one. The coefficients of the power series of f about the origin can be explicitly given in terms of a generalized version of the classical Pochhammer symbol, involving two square matrices that in general do not commute. The function can also be characterized by a Volterra integral equation, whose kernel is expressed in terms of the solutions of another hypergeometric system of lower dimension.  相似文献

In this paper, the existence of mild solutions for first-order impulsive semilinear neutral functional differential equations with infinite delay in Banach spaces is investigated. We derive conditions in respect of the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness under which the mild solutions exist in Banach spaces. Our results improve and generalize some previous results.  相似文献

Nemytskii, V.V. Stepanov, Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, Princeton University Press, Princeton, New Jersey, 1966; V.A. Yakubovich, On the asymptotic behavior of systems of differential equations, Mat. Sb. 28 (1951) 217–240] on the asymptotic equivalence of a linear and a quasilinear system is developed. On the basis of the equivalence, the existence of asymptotically almost periodic solutions of the systems is investigated. The definitions of biasymptotic equivalence for the equations and biasymptotically almost periodic solutions are introduced. Theorems on the sufficient conditions for the systems to be biasymptotically equivalent and for the existence of biasymptotically almost periodic solutions are obtained. In this paper, by using the Leray-Schauder alternative, we have investigated the existence of mild solutions to first-order impulsive partial functional integrodifferential equations with nonlocal conditions in an α-norm. We assume that the linear part generates an analytic compact bounded semigroup, and that the nonlinear part is a Lipschitz continuous function with respect to the fractional power norm of the linear part. In this paper the existence of solutions of a non-autonomous abstract retarded functional differential equation of second order with infinite delay is considered. Assuming the existence of an evolution operator corresponding to the associate abstract Cauchy problem of second order, we establish the existence of mild solutions of the functional equation. Furthermore, we study the existence of classical solutions of the abstract Cauchy problem of second order and we apply these results to establish the existence of classical solutions of the functional equation. Finally, we apply our results to study the existence of solutions of the non-autonomous wave equation with delay.  相似文献

In this paper we continue to consider differential equations with piecewise constant argument of generalized type (EPCAG) [M.U. Akhmet, Integral manifolds of differential equations with piecewise constant argument of generalized type, Nonlinear Anal. TMA 66 (2007) 367–383]. A deviating function of a new form is introduced. The linear and quasilinear systems are under discussion. The structure of the sets of solutions is specified. Necessary and sufficient conditions for stability of the zero solution are obtained. Our approach can be fruitfully applied to the investigation of stability, oscillations, controllability and many other problems of EPCAG. Some of the results were announced at The International Conference on Hybrid Systems and Applications, University of Louisiana, Lafayette, 2006.  相似文献

In this paper, by using the generalization of Darbo’s fixed point theorem, we establish the existence of global solutions of an initial value problem for a class of second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in a real Banach space. Our results generalize and improve on the results of Guo et al. [F. Guo, L.S. Liu, Y.H. Wu, P. Siew, Global solutions of initial value problems for nonlinear second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 1363–1382] in the sense that the conditions for existence of global solution in our theorem is simpler and less strict. To demonstrate the application of the theorem, we give the global solutions of two mixed boundary value problems for two classes of fourth order impulsive integro-differential equations.  相似文献

The sets of solutions to the Lorenz equations that exist backward in time and are bounded at an exponential rate determined by the eigenvalues of the linear part of the equation are examined. The set associated with the middle eigenvalue is shown to project surjectively onto a plane, thereby providing a lower estimate for its dimension. In this study, the step size strategies are obtained such that the local error is smaller than the desired error level in the numerical integration of a type of nonlinear equation system in interval [t0,T][t0,T]. We establish stability and nonstability results for a domain-wall brane model arising in classical field theory. In particular, we show the nonexistence of nontrivial bounded solutions on the real line for a coupled pair of parameter dependent linear second order ordinary differential equations for an open set of those parameters. Moreover, we establish the existence of nontrivial solutions for a hypersurface of the parameters. We use Fredholm theory for compact linear operators combined with the Lyapunov-Schmidt method to prove our results. The model is stable, respectively unstable, for those parameters for which the coupled system does not, respectively does, have nontrivial solutions.  相似文献
