** Email: wepdepam{at}lg.ehu.es This paper deals with the problem of robust closed-loop stabilizationagainst parametrical uncertainties of linear systems subjectto internal (i.e. in the state) and external (i.e. in the output),possibly time-varying and unbounded point delays of a boundedtime-derivative. The output-feedback linear stabilizing controlleris delay free and dynamic. It is assumed that the undelayedplant (i.e. the delay-free part of the plant) is stabilizableand detectable. The synthesis process of the stabilizing controllerinvolves three major actions. First, an augmented system isbuilt with the dynamic equations of both plant and controller. At this step, the controller structure is available but a particularstabilizing controller parametrization still remains undetermined.Subsequently, a Lyapunov matrix equation is ensured to be solvablefor the augmented closed-loop delay-free system so that sucha system is stable with a large stability abscissa related tothe amounts of uncertainties and delay contributions to thedynamics. At this stage, one takes the advantage that the augmentedsystem may be stabilized by an appropriate dynamic controllerof minimum order since the undelayed plant is stabilizable anddetectable. Finally, a complementary matrix equality is manipulatedto establish the closed-loop stability tolerance of the augmenteddelay system, related to that of the delay-free one, to thedelayed dynamics and parametrical uncertainties.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of the robust stabilization for a class of uncertain linear dynamical systems with time-varying delay is considered. By making use of an algebraic Riccati equation, we derive some sufficient conditions for robust stability of time-varying delay dynamical systems with unstructured or structured uncertainties. In our approach, the only restriction on the delay functionh(t) is the knowledge of its upper boundh . Some analytical methods are employed to investigate these stability conditions. Since these conditions are independent of the delay, our results are also applicable to systems with perturbed time delay. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the use of the sufficient conditions developed in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of exponential stabilization for a class of linear systems with time-varying delay is studied. The time delay is a continuous function belonging to a given interval, which means that the lower and upper bounds for the time-varying delay are available, but the delay function is not necessary to be differentiable. Based on the construction of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combined with Leibniz-Newton’s formula, new delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the exponential stabilization of the systems are first established in terms of LMIs. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate that the derived conditions are much less conservative than those given in the literature.  相似文献

Decentralized stabilization of a class of interconnected systems   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Abstract. This paper is concerned with the decentralized stabilization of continuous and discretelinear interconnected systems with the structural constraints about the interconnection matri-ces. For the continuous case, the main improvement in the paper as compared with the corre-sponding results in the literature is to extend the considered class of systems from S to S“ (bothwill be defined in the paper) without resulting in high decentralized gain and difficult numericalcomputation. The algorithm for obtaining decentralized state feedback control to stable theoverall system is presented. The discrete case and some very useful results are discussed aswell.  相似文献

In this paper, we study several reachability and controllability definitions for linear, autonomous systems of degenerate ordinary differential equations. We try to identify the most interesting among them; we prove the connections with stabilizability and full stabilizability properties of the systems, which are also studied. In particular, we show the connection of the stabilizability property with the existence of special solutions of a suitable version of the Riccati equation. This paper was written under the auspices of GNAFA-CNR (Gruppo Nazionale per l'Analisi Funzionale e le sue Applicazioni, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche), Rome Italy.  相似文献

This paper presents new results on delay-dependent stability and stabilization for linear systems with interval time-varying delays. Some less conservative delay-dependent criteria for determining the stability of the time-delay systems are obtained in this paper. Based on the stability conditions, we propose a new state transformation technology to facilitate controller designing efficiently and computationally. The method is also applicable to the existing stability conditions reported by now, while the existing technologies may fail to derive computational control procedures from the stability conditions. Finally, some numerical examples well illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In the paper, properties of the upper Bohl exponents and senior upper general exponent of discrete linear time-varying systems are investigated. The relation of these exponents to uniform exponential stability is discussed. Moreover, an example of system, which is not uniformly exponentially stable but each trajectory tends uniformly and exponentially to zero is provided.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of stabilizing an uncertain linear system using state feedback control. The uncertain systems under consideration are described by state equations containing unknown but bounded uncertain parameters. The uncertain parameters are classified into two types: either constant or time-varying. Indeed, the main feature of this paper is that it allows one to exploit the fact that some of the uncertain parameters are constant. In order to investigate the question of stabilizability, quadratic Lyapunov functions are used. Hence, the paper deals with the notion of quadratic stabilizability. The main result of the paper is a necessary and sufficient condition for the quadratic stabilizability of the uncertain systems under consideration.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the robust stability for linear time-varying differential-algebraic equations. We consider the systems under the effect of uncertain dynamic perturbations. A formula of the structured stability radius is obtained. The result is an extension of a previous result for time-varying ordinary differential equations proven by Birgit Jacob [B. Jacob, A formula for the stability radius of time-varying systems, J. Differential Equations 142 (1998) 167-187].

We provide explicit closed form expressions for strict Lyapunov functions for time-varying discrete time systems. Our Lyapunov functions are expressed in terms of known nonstrict Lyapunov functions for the dynamics and finite sums of persistency of excitation parameters. This provides a discrete time analog of our previous continuous time Lyapunov function constructions. We also construct explicit strict Lyapunov functions for systems satisfying nonstrict discrete time analogs of the conditions from Matrosov’s Theorem. We use our methods to build strict Lyapunov functions for time-varying hybrid systems that contain mixtures of continuous and discrete time evolutions.  相似文献

A method is presented for solving time-varying independent modal-space Kalman filter equations in terms of 2×2 transition matrices, rather than in terms of the more commonly used 4×4 transition matrix solution technique. The basic method consists of replacing the well-known product form solution for the differential matrix Riccati equation with an alternate solution form which consists of a steady-state plus transient term.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of asymptotic stability for switched linear time-varying (SLTV) systems. First, some stability conditions for SLTV systems are given by using infinite integrals. Then, based on the results obtained, two stability conditions are proposed by combining the methods of top-floor function and average dwell time. Moreover, using strict top-floor function, a stability condition is also provided when some subsystems are unstable. With the help of top-floor function, the stability problem of SLTV systems can be simplified and solved by using the technique of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

The global uniform exponential stability of switched positive linear impulsive systems with time-varying delays and all unstable subsystems is studied in this paper, which includes two types of distributed time-varying delays and discrete time-varying delays. Switching behaviors dominating the switched systems can be either stabilizing and destabilizing in the new designed switching sequence. We design new linear programming algorithm process to find the feasible ratio of stabilizing switching behaviors, which can be compensated by unstable subsystems, destabilizing switching behaviors, and impulses. Speci cally, we add a kind of nonnegative impulses which is consistent with the switching behaviors for the systems. Employing a multiple co-positive Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, we present several new sufficient stability criteria and design new switching sequence. Then, we apply the obtained stability criteria to the exponential consensus of linear delayed multi-agent systems, and obtain the new exponential consensus criteria. Three simulations are provided to demonstrate the proposed stability criteria.  相似文献

We propose in this paper, a systematic switching practical stabilization method for PWA switched systems around an average equilibrium. For these systems, the main difficulty comes from the fact that to end in BMI formulation, it is necessary to represent the system in an augmented state space but a restricted one. However, the derived stabilizing conditions are not tractable as BMI in the restricted domain. We will present a method that overcomes this difficulty and drives asymptotically system states into a ball centered on the desired non-equilibrium reference. The efficiency of this practical stabilization method is showed by the ball smallness and the good robustness against disturbances. The design control searches for a single Lyapunov-like function and an appropriate continuous state space partition to satisfy stabilizing properties. Therefore, the method constitutes a simple systematic state feedback computation; it may be useful for on-line applications. As a direct application, satisfactory simulation results are obtained for two illustrative examples, a Buck-Boost converter and a multilevel one. Due to their functioning nature, these devices constitute good examples of switched systems. They are electrical circuits controlled by switches to produce regulated outputs despite the load disturbances and power supply irregularities.  相似文献

Slowly time-varying delays are seldom, but do need to be, considered in the context of discrete-time systems. This paper addresses the exponential stability issue of discrete-time systems with slowly time-varying delays. The basic idea is to transform, by utilizing the switching transformation approach, the original system with slowly time-varying delays into an equivalent switched system with special switching signal. Different types of delays correspond to different types of switching signals, and the stability issue of the original system is converted into that of a switched system. It is the first time that the method of switched homogeneous polynomial Lyapunov function is applied to general delayed systems. Some sufficient exponential stability conditions for the original system are proposed in several situations. It is numerically shown that the conservativeness of the proposed conditions reduces as the degree of the switched homogeneous polynomial Lyapunov function increases.  相似文献

This paper deals with output feedback guaranteed cost control problem for a general class of uncertain linear discrete delay systems, where the state and the observation output are subjected to interval time-varying delay. The proposed output feedback controller uses the observation measurement to exponentially stabilize the closed-loop system and guarantee an adequate level of system performance. By constructing a set of augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, a delay-dependent condition for the robust output feedback guaranteed cost control is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Three numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this article, we consider a continuous-time state-dependent jump linear system (SDJLS), a kind of stochastic hybrid system, with the presence of uncertainties in system parameters. In SDJLS, we consider that the transition rates of the underlying random jump process depend on the state variable. In particular, we assume the transition rates to have different values across suitably defined sets to which the state of the system belongs, and address a problem of robust stability and stabilization analysis. We obtain sufficient conditions for robust stability and state-feedback stabilization in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). We validate the obtained sufficient robust stability and stabilization conditions with numerical examples.  相似文献

We prove that the existence of a non-smooth control Lyapunovfunction is a necessary and sufficient condition for the existenceof an ordinary smooth time-varying feedback that stabilizesan affine time-varying control system. Results concerning thenon-affine case are also provided.  相似文献

We consider a class of linear dynamical systems with bounded, Lebesgue-measurable uncertainties in the system and input matrices as well as in the input itself. A state feedback control is derived, which guarantees global, uniform asymptotic stability of the zero state; this control is continuous, except at the zero state. This paper is based in part on research supported by the National Science Foundation.  相似文献
