In this paper we consider Hankel operators = (IdP 1) from A 2(?, |z |2) to A 2,1(?, |z |2). Here A 2(?, |z |2) denotes the Fock space A 2(?, |z |2) = {f: f is entire and ‖f2 = ∫? |f (z)|2 exp (–|z |2) (z) < ∞}. Furthermore A 2,1(?, |z |2) denotes the closure of the linear span of the monomials { z n : n, l ∈ ?, l ≤ 1} and the corresponding orthogonal projection is denoted by P 1. Note that we call these operators generalized Hankel operators because the projection P 1 is not the usual Bergman projection. In the introduction we give a motivation for replacing the Bergman projection by P 1. The paper analyzes boundedness and compactness of the mentioned operators. On the Fock space we show that is bounded, but not compact, and for k ≥ 3 that is not bounded. Afterwards we also consider the same situation on the Bergman space of the unit disc. Here a completely different situation appears: we have compactness for all k ≥ 1. Finally we will also consider an analogous situation in the case of several complex variables. A well-known result of Rivlin states that if p(z) is a polynomial of degree n, such that p(z) ≠ 0 in |z| < 1, then max|z|=r < 1 |p(z)| ≤ ((r + 1)/2)n max|z| = 1 |p(z)|. In this paper, we consider the polynomial p(z) = a0 + Σnv = μaυzυ having all its zeros in |z| ≤ k > 1 and obtain a generalization of this result. Our result improves upon a result recently proved by Bidkham and Dewan (J. Math. Anal. Appl.166 (1992), 19-324).  相似文献

Let {Zn=1{( n ) bea sequence of points in the unit open disk, and letNϕ(U) denote the class of functionsf analytic in the unit disk U such that |f|∈L ( ϕ 1 )(U). For ϕ ≡ 1, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence off εN(U) and vanishing atz n is Σ( n=1 ) (1–|Zn|)2 ∞. Also we estimate a large family of canonical products. These results are extended to ϕ(z)=(1-|z|)ϕ. This represents a part of a Ph.D. thesis conducted at the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology, Department of Mathematics, by Dr. C. A. Horowitz. In this paper, we obtain a version of subordination lemma for hyperbolic disk relative to hyperbolic geometry on the unit disk D. This subordination lemma yields the distortion theorem for Bloch mappings f ∈ H(B^n) satisfying ||f||0 = 1 and det f'(0) = α ∈ (0, 1], where||f||0 = sup{(1 - |z|^2 )n+1/2n det(f'(z))[1/n : z ∈ B^n}. Here we establish the distortion theorem from a unified perspective and generalize some known results. This distortion theorem enables us to obtain a lower bound for the radius of the largest univalent ball in the image of f centered at f(0). When a = 1, the lower bound reduces to that of Bloch constant found by Liu. When n = 1, our distortion theorem coincides with that of Bonk, Minda and Yanagihara.  相似文献

We prove a non-commutative version of the weak-type (1,1) boundedness of square functions of martingales. More precisely, we prove that there is an absolute constantK with the following property: ifM is a semifinite von Neumann algebra with a faithful normal traceτ and (M n ) n=1 is an increasing filtration of von Neumann subalgebras of (M then for any martingalex= n=1 inL 1(M,τ), adapted to (M n ) n=1 , there is a decomposition into two sequences (x n ) n=1 and (z n ) n=1 withx n=y n+z nfor everyn≥1 and such that . This generalizes a result of Burkholder from classical martingale theory to non-commutative martingales. We also include some applications to martingale Hardy spaces. Summary Let A= be an elliptic differential operator inR u, If, for |α|=l, the coefficients aα are ? nearly constant ? and, for |α|<l, they tend to zero at infinity with a certain swiftness, it is proved that A is a Fredholm operator with indexx(A)=0 between a suitable weighted Sobolev space M contained in Wl,p (R n) and Lp(R n, (1+|x|)lp)== . It is shown, by counterexamples, that the above result, holds only if n>l, p>n/(n−l) and that isomorphism results can be obtained, in general only if the coefficients aα(|α|<l) are assumed to be ? sufficiently small ? also on compact sets. Then a Sturm-Liouville type problem is studied and a class of negative and falling off at infinity potentials V(x) is constructed in such a way that the Schr?dinger operator H=−Δ+V(x), in L2(R n), has a zero eigenvalue.

We study a conformal map ? of the unit disk D onto a hyperbolically convex set in D, in particular the behaviour of ? on the preimage T ? = {z ? ?D:|?(z)| = 1} of ?D. The main problem is how much the Hausdorff dimension can increase for sets on T ?. The case that ?(D) is bounded by full circles is treated in more detail. The paper studies the region of values Dm,n(T) of the system {f(z1), f(z2),..., f(zm), f(r1), f(r2),..., f(rn)}, where m ≥ 1; n > 1; zj, j = 1, ... m, are arbitrary fixed points of the disk U = {z: |z| < 1} with Im zj ≠ 0, j = 1, 2, ..., m; rj, 0 < rj < 1, j = 1, 2, ..., n, are fixed; f ∈ T, and the class T consists of functions f(z) = z + c2z2 + ... regular in the disk U and satisfying the condition Im f(z) · Im z > 0 for Im z ≠= 0, z ∈ U. An algebraic characterization of the set Dm,n(T) in terms of nonnegative-definite Hermitian forms is provided, and all the boundary functions are described. As an implication, the region of values of f(z1) in the subclass of functions f ∈ T with prescribed values f(rj) (j = 1, 2, 3) is determined. Bibliography: 12 titles.
