ABSTRACT

In this paper, we consider the split common fixed point problem for new demimetric mappings in two Banach spaces. Using the hybrid method, we prove a strong convergence theorem for finding a solution of the split common fixed point problem in two Banach spaces. Furthermore, using the shrinking projection method, we obtain another strong convergence theorem for finding a solution of the problem in two Banach spaces. Using these results, we obtain well-known and new strong convergence theorems in Hilbert spaces and Banach spaces.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to investigate the problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a non-expansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone, Lipschitz continuous mapping. We introduce a hybrid Mann iterative scheme with perturbed mapping which is based on the well-known Mann iteration method and hybrid (or outer approximation) method. We establish a strong convergence theorem for three sequences generated by this hybrid Mann iterative scheme with perturbed mapping. Utilizing this theorem, we also construct an iterative process for finding a common fixed point of two mappings, one of which is non-expansive and the other taken from the more general class of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings.  相似文献

In recent years, there have been considerable interests in the study of when a closed convex subset K of a Banach space has the fixed point property, i.e. whenever T is a non-expansive mapping from K into K, then K contains a fixed point for T. In this paper we shall study fixed point properties of semigroups of non-expansive mappings on weakly compact convex subsets of a Banach space (or, more generally, a locally convex space). By considering the classes of bicyclic semigroups we answer two open questions, one posted earlier by the first author in 1976 (Dalhousie) and the other posted by T. Mitchell in 1984 (Virginia). We also provide a characterization for the existence of a left invariant mean on the space of weakly almost periodic functions on separable semitopological semigroups in terms of fixed point property for non-expansive mappings related to another open problem raised by the first author in 1976.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce hybrid pseudo-viscosity approximation schemes with strongly positive bounded linear operators for finding a common element of the set of solutions to a system of equilibrium problems, the set of fixed points of an infinite family and left amenable semigroup of non-expansive mappings in the frame work of Hilbert spaces. Our goal is to prove a result of strong convergence for hybrid pseudo-viscosity approximation schemes to approach a solution of systems of equilibrium problems which is also a common fixed point of an infinite family and left amenable semigroup of non-expansive mappings. The results presented in this paper can be treated as an extension and improvement of the corresponding results announced by Ceng et al. [L.C. Ceng, Q.H. Ansari, and J.C. Yao, Hybrid pseudo-viscosity approximation schemes for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems of infinitely many non-expansive mappings, Nonlinear Analysis 4 (2010) 743-754] and many others.  相似文献

Furthermore, using the idea of Halpern’s iteration, we obtain a strong convergence theorem for finding a solution of the problem in Banach spaces. In this paper, we present a new algorithm for solving the split common null point and common fixed point problem, to find a point that belongs to the common element of common zero points of an infinite family of maximal monotone operators and common fixed points of an infinite family of demicontractive mappings such that its image under a linear transformation belongs to the common zero points of another infinite family of maximal monotone operators and its image under another linear transformation belongs to the common fixed point of another infinite family of demicontractive mappings in the image space. We establish strong convergence for the algorithm to find a unique solution of the variational inequality, which is the optimality condition for the minimization problem. As special cases, we shall use our results to study the split equilibrium problems and the split optimization problems.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the concept of a w-compatible mappings to obtain coupled coincidence point and coupled point of coincidence for nonlinear contractive mappings in cone metric space with a cone having non-empty interior. Coupled common fixed point theorems for such mappings are also proved. Our results generalize, extend and unify several well known comparable results in the literature. In the first part of this paper, we present a new general algorithm for solving the split common fixed point problem for an infinite family of demicontractive mappings. We establish strong convergence of the algorithm in an infinite dimensional Hilbert space. As applications, we consider algorithms for split variational inequality problem and split common null point problem. In the second part of this paper, we present a new algorithm and strong convergence theorem for approximation of solutions of split equality fixed point problems for an infinite family of demicontractive mappings. In this paper we introduce a new perturbed proximal-projection algorithm for finding the common element of the set of fixed points of non-expansive mappings and the set of solutions of nonlinear mixed variational-like inequalities. In this paper, we study the fixed point set of the non-expansive mapping TμTμ for a Banach space with uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm when μμ is a multiplicative left invariant mean on l(S)l(S). As an application, we establish nonlinear ergodic properties for an extremely amenable semigroup of non-expansive mappings in a Banach space with uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm. Furthermore, we improve a recent result of Atsushiba and Takahashi [S. Atsushiba, W. Takahashi, Weak and strong convergence theorems for non-expansive semigroups in a Banach spaces satisfying Opial’s condition, Sci. Math. Jpn. In this paper, to find a common fixed point of a family of nonexpansive mappings, we introduce a Halpern type iterative sequence. Then we prove that such a sequence converges strongly to a common fixed point of nonexpansive mappings. In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme based on the extragradient approximation method for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem, and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone L-Lipschitz continuous mapping in a real Hilbert space. Then, the strong convergence theorem is proved under some parameters controlling conditions. Applications to optimization problems are given. Abstract

We propose parallel algorithms for solving a class of variational inequalities over the set of common fixed points for a finite family of demicontractive mappings in real Hilbert spaces. Under some suitable conditions, we prove that the sequence generated by the proposed algorithms converges strongly to a solution of the problem. We apply the proposed algorithms to strongly monotone variational inequality problems with pseudomonotone equilibrium constraints by defining a quasi-nonexpansive and demi-closed mapping whose fixed point set coincides with the solution set of the equilibrium problem.  相似文献

A best proximity point theorem explores the existence of an optimal approximate solution, known as a best proximity point, to the equations of the form Tx = x where T is a non-self mapping. The purpose of this article is to establish some best proximity point theorems for non-self non-expansive mappings, non-self Kannan- type mappings and non-self Chatterjea-type mappings, thereby producing optimal approximate solutions to some fixed point equations.
