Some classical results about linear representations of a finite group G have been also proved for representations of G on non-abelian groups (G-groups). In this paper we establish a decomposition theorem for irreducible G-groups which expresses a suitable irreducible G-group as a tensor product of two projective G-groups in a similar way to the celebrated theorem of Clifford for linear representations. Moreover, we study the non-abelian minimal normal subgroups of G in which this decomposition is possible. 相似文献

We prove a preservation theorem for the class of Valdivia compact spaces, which involves inverse sequences of retractions of a certain kind. Consequently, a compact space of weight?ℵ1 is Valdivia compact iff it is the limit of an inverse sequence of metric compacta whose bonding maps are retractions. As a corollary, we show that the class of Valdivia compacta of weight?ℵ1 is preserved both under retractions and under open 0-dimensional images. Finally, we characterize the class of all Valdivia compacta in the language of category theory, which implies that this class is preserved under all continuous weight preserving functors. 相似文献

We find the logarithmic L2‐small ball asymptotics for a class of zero mean Gaussian fields with covariances having the structure of “tensor product”. The main condition imposed on marginal covariances is slow growth at the origin of counting functions of their eigenvalues. That is valid for Gaussian functions with smooth covariances. Another type of marginal functions considered as well are classical Wiener process, Brownian bridge, Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process, etc., in the case of special self‐similar measure of integration. Our results are based on a new theorem on spectral asymptotics for the tensor products of compact self‐adjoint operators in Hilbert space which is of independent interest. Thus, we continue to develop the approach proposed in the paper 6 , where the regular behavior at infinity of marginal eigenvalues was assumed. 相似文献

We find the logarithmic -small ball asymptotics for a large class of zero mean Gaussian fields with covariances having the structure of ``tensor product'. The main condition imposed on marginal covariances is the regular behavior of their eigenvalues at infinity that is valid for a multitude of Gaussian random functions including the fractional Brownian sheet, Ornstein - Uhlenbeck sheet, etc. So we get the far-reaching generalizations of well-known results by Csáki (1982) and by Li (1992). Another class of Gaussian fields considered is the class of additive fields studied under the supremum-norm by Chen and Li (2003). Our theorems are based on new results on spectral asymptotics for the tensor products of compact self-adjoint operators in Hilbert space which are of independent interest.

In this paper we study a family of complex, compact, non-symplectic manifolds arising from linear complex dynamical systems. For every integern>3, and an ordered partition ofn into an odd numberk of positive integers we construct such a manifold together with an (n-2)-dimensional space of complex structures. We show that, under mild additional hypotheses, these deformation spaces are universal. Some of these manifolds are holomorphically equivalent to some known examples and we stablish the identification with them.
