Expressions for transverse and longitudinal current-current correlation functions of an ideal Fermi gas describing the current fluctuations induced in the electron system by external probe perpendicular and parallel to the propagation of electron wave, have been obtained at finite temperature. The results obtained for transverse and longitudinal functions are presented for different values of wavelength and frequency at different temperatures. The diamagnetic susceptibility as a function of temperature has also been obtained from transverse current correlation function as its long wavelength and static limit, which smoothly cross over from known quantum values to the classical limit with increase in temperature.  相似文献

A thermodynamically consistent framework is developed in order to characterize the mechanical and thermal behavior of metals in small volume and on the fast transient time. In this regard, an enhanced gradient plasticity theory is coupled with the application of a micromorphic approach to the temperature variable. A physically based yield function based on the concept of thermal activation energy and the dislocation interaction mechanisms including nonlinear hardening is taken into consideration in the derivation. The effect of the material microstructural interface between two materials is also incorporated in the formulation with both temperature and rate effects. In order to accurately address the strengthening and hardening mechanisms, the theory is developed based on the decomposition of the mechanical state variables into energetic and dissipative counterparts which endowed the constitutive equations to have both energetic and dissipative gradient length scales for the bulk material and the interface. Moreover, the microstructural interaction effect in the fast transient process is addressed by incorporating two time scales into the microscopic heat equation. The numerical example of thin film on elastic substrate or a single phase bicrystal under uniform tension is addressed here. The effects of individual counterparts of the framework on the thermal and mechanical responses are investigated. The model is also compared with experimental results.  相似文献

Due to quantum size effects (QSEs), the isobaric thermal expansion coefficient and isothermal compressibility well defined for macroscopic systems are invalid for finite-size systems. The two parameters are redefined and calculated for a finite-size ideal Fermi gas confined in a rectangular container. It is found that the isobaric thermal expansion coefficient and isothermal compressibility are generally anisotropic, i.e., they are generally different in different directions. Moreover, it is found the thermal expansion coefficient may be negative in some directions under the condition that the pressures in all directions are kept constant.  相似文献

By using the Euler-MacLaurin formula,this paper studies the thermodynamic properties of an ideal Fermi gas confined in a D-dimensional rectangular container.The general expressions of the thermodynamic quantities with the finite-size corrections are given explicitly and the effects of the size and shape of the container on the properties of the system are discussed.It is shown that the corrections of the thermodynamic quantities due to the finite-size effects are significant to be considered for the case of strong degeneracy but negligible for the case of weak degeneracy or non-degeneracy.It is important to find that some familiar conclusions under the thermodynamic limit are no longer valid for the finite-size systems and there are some novel characteristics resulting from the finite-size effects,such as the nonextensivity of the system,the anisotropy of the pressure,and so on.  相似文献

Intrinsic discrete nature in thermodynamic properties of Fermi gases appears under strongly confined and degenerate conditions. For a rectangular confinement domain, thermodynamic properties of an ideal Fermi gas are expressed in their exact summation forms. For 1D, 2D and 3D nano domains, variations of both number of particles and internal energy per particle with chemical potential are examined. It is shown that their relation with chemical potential exhibits a discrete nature which allows them to take only some definite values. Furthermore, quasi-irregular oscillatory-like sharp peaks are observed in heat capacity. New nano devices can be developed based on these behaviors.  相似文献

In an effective-mass approximation it is shown that in a heavily doped slightly compensated crystal the narrowing of the band ΔEg>0 on complete ionization of the impurity is equal to the sum of the exchange interaction ΔEg (exc) of the majority charge carriers and of the energy of the correlation interaction ΔEg (cor) of a nonequilibrium minority charge carrier with a screening cloud of majority ones. When the mean-square fluctuation of the potential energy of an electron (hole) is much higher than the thermal energy, the approximation ΔEg/EB=1.3(NaB 3/v)0.58+2.7(NaB 3/v)0.23 is obtained, where v is the number of equivalent energy minima (valleys) at different values of the quasimomentum of the majority charge carriers, are the Bohr energy and radius; ε is the dielectric permittivity of the crystal lattice; m is the effective mass of the state density in one valley; N is the concentration of the doping impurity. The values of ΔEg and of the high-energy edge of the interband radiating recombination calculated by the model suggested agree with the data on low-temperature photoluminescence of n-Si, p-Si, p-GaAs, and p-GaSb for 3·10−3<NaB 3<2. 在相对论理论框架下,分别在点电荷和两参数Fermi核模型近似下计算了高离化态类氢离子(Z=80—112)n=1—3壳层的波函数和能级. 分析了核有限体积效应对它们的影响. 在此基础上,给出了核有限体积效应对原子能级的修正公式. 同时,还进一步讨论了相对论效应和核有限体积效应之间的相互影响,发现对高Z元素相对论效应与核有限体积效应之间有很强的耦合. 关键词: 原子核有限体积效应 高离化态离子 相对论效应  相似文献

由弱磁场中弱相互作用费米气体的配分函数,导出有限粒子数条件下系统的配分函数G(β,N ).在此基础上,运用统计平均方法求解有限粒子数弱相互作用费米气体热力学量的解析表达式,给出各种温度条件下的热力学性质.研究结果表明,有限粒子数效应使各个热力学量都产生了一个修正项,除温度趋于0外,粒子数对化学势的修正项有直接影响,对内能和热容量的修正项并不产生直接影响.并且有限粒子数效应总是降低化学势,从而使化学势的0点向低温漂移,粒子数增大,会削弱这种效应,粒子间的相互排斥会加强这种效应.  相似文献

The leptodermous expansion of the total ground state energy of a nucleus into volume, surface, curvature and gauss curvature contributions has been studied starting from a semi-classical energy density formalism of extended Thomas Fermi type. A numerical procedure was used to obtain the surface energy and curvature energy contributions from surface moments of energy density profilesH(r) for a sequence of nuclei withN=Z and neglecting the coulomb interaction for the three Skyrme forces. A transition to the liquid drop model type expansion in increasing powers ofA −1/3 is then made, taking into account the dependence of the central density and the surface structure on the mass of the nucleus. It is found that there is no inconsistency between the curvature contribution to the total energy in the leptodermous expansion and theA −1/3 term contribution in the liquid drop model expansion. It has been shown that the earlier apparent anomaly between the above two methods arises due to the use of semi-infinite approximation and the mass dependence of the central density and the surface structure of finite nuclei.  相似文献

Detailed theoretical investigations into asphericity in the Fermi surface (FS) and Fermi energy (FE) ofNa1_xKx, Na1_xRbx, and Na1_xCsx binary solid solutions are carried out for the first time. The alloying behavior ofthe K, Rb, and Cs with the Na generates the Fermi surface distortion (FSD) of bce simple metals. The FS of Na-K,Na-Rb, and Na-Cs solid solution is a distorted sphere with the largest deviation along [110]. We have found that theimpact of local-field correction function on FSD is maximun at [100] point and minimum at [111] point. The exchangeand correlation effect is found to suppress the value of FE.  相似文献

In this paper a modifed continuous energy law was explored to investigate transport behavior in a gas metal arc welding(GMAW)system.The energy law equality at a discrete level for the GMAW system was derived by using the finite element scheme.The mass conservation and current density continuous equation with the penalty scheme was applied 10 improve the stability.According to the phase-field model coupled with the energy law preserving method,the GMAW model was discretized and a metal transfer process with a pulse current was simulated.It was found that the numerical solution agrees well with the data of the metal transfer process obtained by high-speed photography.Compared with the numerical solution of the volume of fuid model,which was widely studied in the GMAW system based on the finite element method Euler scheme,the energy law preserving method can provide better accuracy in predicting the shape evolution of the droplet and with a greater computing efficiency.  相似文献

基于耦合流体力学方程组,分别研究了各向同性和各向异性轴对称势阱下Bardeen-CooperSchrieffer–Bose-Einstein condensate(BCS-BEC)渡越过程中超流费米气体的Efimovian膨胀.当费米气体处于幺正极限,体系标度不变,气体膨胀尺寸展现出一系列平台结构,气体的演化由对数周期函数描述;当费米气体处于非幺正极限超流区域,体系标度不变性破缺,气体的演化偏离对数周期变化;另外我们还发现对于各向异性的费米气体,即使处于幺正极限,谐振子势的各向异性也会导致体系标度不变性破缺.  相似文献

鉴于气体双原子分子H2、O2、N2和CO的高振动激发态能级和离解行为在实际研究中的重要性,本文应用代数方法(AM)和代数能量方法(AEM),以部分气体双原子分子有限的实验能级[Ev]为基础,获得了H2-X1∑ g、O2-A3∑ u、O2-c1∑-u、N2-X1∑ g和CO-X1∑ 共5个电子态的完全振动能谱{Ev}及其分子的离解能,为研究部分离解气体的物理和化学性质提供了重要的高振动激发态能级和可靠的离解能数据.  相似文献
