Motivated by the recent work of the hidden conformal symmetry of the Kerr black hole, we investigate the hidden conformal symmetry of a Kerr–Sen black hole and a Kerr–Newman–Kasuya black hole. Our result shows the conformal symmetry is spontaneously broken due to the periodicity of the azimuthal angle. The absorption across section is in consistence with the finite temperature absorption cross section for a 2D CFT. The entropies of the black holes are reproduced by the Cardy formula.  相似文献

Null geodesics in equatorial plane of stationary Ernst-Wild space-time representing a Kerr black hole immersed in axlsymmetric magnetic field are investigated.As the case of static Ernst space-time there are two types of geodesics which depend on a dimensionless parameter β of the magnetic field.Differing from the static Ernst space-time,however,the critical βC now depends on a dimensionless parameter q of the angular momentum of the Kerr black hole,and the relation between βC and q is qualitatively different in two cases:L>O and L<0 where L is a dimensionless parameter of angular momentum of test particles moving along nu11 geodesics.  相似文献

Toward the Kerr/CFT correspondence for the generic non-extremal Kerr black hole, the analysis of scattering amplitudes by near extremal Kerr provides a clue. This pursuit reveals a hidden conformal symmetry in the low frequency wave equation for a scalar field in a certain spacetime region referred to as the near region. For extremal case, the near region is expected to be the near horizon region in which the correspondence via the asymptotic symmetry is studied. We investigate the hidden conformal symmetry in the near horizon limit and consider the relation between the hidden conformal symmetry and the asymptotic symmetry in the near horizon limit. By using an appropriate definition of the quasi-local charge, we obtain the deviation of the entropy from the extremality.  相似文献

We study another realization of the Kerr/CFT correspondence. By imposing new asymptotic conditions for the near-horizon geometry of Kerr black hole, an asymptotic symmetry which contains all of the exact isometries can be obtained. In particular, the Virasoro algebra can be realized as an enhancement of symmetry of the AdS geometry. By using this asymptotic symmetry, we discuss finite temperature effects and show the correspondence concretely.  相似文献

We describe early success in the evolution of binary black-hole spacetimes with a numerical code based on a generalization of harmonic coordinates. Indications are that with sufficient resolution this scheme is capable of evolving binary systems for enough time to extract information about the orbit, merger, and gravitational waves emitted during the event. As an example we show results from the evolution of a binary composed of two equal mass, nonspinning black holes, through a single plunge orbit, merger, and ringdown. The resultant black hole is estimated to be a Kerr black hole with angular momentum parameter a approximately 0.70. At present, lack of resolution far from the binary prevents an accurate estimate of the energy emitted, though a rough calculation suggests on the order of 5% of the initial rest mass of the system is radiated as gravitational waves during the final orbit and ringdown.  相似文献

The exponential blueshift associated with the event horizon of a black hole makes conformal symmetry play a fundamental role in accounting for its thermal properties. Using a derivation based on two-point functions, we show that the full spectrum of thermal radiation of scalar particles by Kerr black holes can be explicitly derived on the basis of a conformal symmetry arising in the wave equation near the horizon. The simplicity of our approach emphasizes the depth of the connection between conformal symmetry and black hole radiance.  相似文献

We investigate periodic orbits and zoom-whirl behaviors around a Kerr Sen black hole with a rational number q in terms of three integers(z,w,v),from which one can immediately read off the number of leaves(or zooms),the ordering of the leaves,and the number of whirls.The characteristic of zoom-whirl periodic orbits is the precession of multi-leaf orbits in the strong-field regime.This feature is analogous to the counterpart in the Kerr space-time.Finally,we analyze the impact of the charge parameter b on the zoom-whirl periodic orbits.Compared to the periodic orbits around the Kerr black hole,it is found that typically lower energies are required for the same orbits in the Kerr Sen black hole.  相似文献

Based on the hidden conformed symmetry, some authors have proposed a Harrison metric for the Schwarzschild black hole. We give a procedure which can generate a family of Harrison metrics starting from a general set of SL(2, R) vector fields. By analogy with the subtracted geometry of the Kerr black hole, we find a new Harrison metric for the Schwaxzschild case. its conformal generators axe also investigated using the Killing equations in the near-horizon limit.  相似文献

We present a mathematically simple and coordinate-free proof, based on the GHP spin-coefficient formalism, that a small stationary perturbation of a Kerr solution results in a new Kerr solution. It was proposed that the id(x(2)-y(2)) density-wave state (DDW) may be responsible for the pseudogap behavior in the underdoped cuprates. Here we show that the admixture of a small d(xy) component to the DDW state breaks the symmetry between the counterpropagating orbital currents of the DDW state and, thus, violates the macroscopic time-reversal symmetry. This symmetry breaking results in a nonzero polar Kerr effect, which has recently been observed in the pseudogap phase.  相似文献

A coordinate system that blockwise-simplifies the Kerr–Newman black hole’s thermodynamical state space Ruppeiner metric geometry is constructed, with discussion of the limiting cases corresponding to simpler black holes. It is deduced that one of the three conformal Killing vectors of the Reissner–Nordström and Kerr cases (whose thermodynamical state space metrics are 2 by 2 and conformally flat) survives generalization to the Kerr–Newman case’s 3 by 3 thermodynamical state space metric.  相似文献

In this Letter we consider the radial infall along the symmetry axis of an ultra-relativistic point particle into a rotating Kerr black hole. We use the Sasaki-Nakamura formalism to compute the waveform, energy spectra and total energy radiated during this process. 避开了求解黑洞背景下波动方程的因难,应用量子统计方法,通过应用在量子引力中、由广义测不准关系得出的新态密度方程,直接求解轴对称Kerr黑洞背景下玻色场和费米场的配分函数.然后,在视界附近计算黑洞背景下玻色场和费米场的熵.得到用收敛级数表达的黑洞熵.在计算中不存在用brick wall模型计算黑洞熵时出现的发散项和小质量近似,使人们对非球对称时空中黑洞的统计熵有更深入的认识. 关键词: 量子统计 非球对称时空 广义测不准关系 黑洞熵  相似文献

We extend the work of 1401.3746 about gravitational waves by a massive orbiting star in an extremal Kerr black hole to an extremal Kerr‐Newman black hole for the scalar radiation, and we still find that it has a CFT interpretation from Kerr‐Newman/CFT, because our scalar is neutral although the black hole is a charged one. When the charge of black hole is zero, we can get the result of 1401.3746, so we give a new evidence on Kerr‐Newman/CFT. In addition, we investigate on electromagnetic radiation with Kerr/CFT in detail which isn't given by 1401.3746.  相似文献

In this work, we have studied accretion of the dark energies in new variable modified Chaplygin gas (NVMCG) and generalized cosmic Chaplygin gas (GCCG) models onto Schwarzschild and Kerr?CNewman black holes. We find the expression of the critical four velocity component which gradually decreases for the fluid flow towards the Schwarzschild as well as the Kerr?CNewman black hole. We also find the expression for the change of mass of the black hole in both cases. For the Kerr?CNewman black hole, which is rotating and charged, we calculate the specific angular momentum and total angular momentum. We showed that in both cases, due to accretion of dark energy, the mass of the black hole increases and angular momentum increases in the case of a Kerr?CNewman black hole.  相似文献

The equilibrium configurations between a Schwarzschild black hole and a hyperextreme Kerr object are shown to be described by a three-parameter subfamily of the extended double-Kerr solution. For this subfamily we provide a physical representation which employs as arbitrary parameters the individual Komar masses and relative coordinate distance between the sources. The calculation of horizon’s local angular velocity induced in the Schwarzschild black hole by the Kerr constituent yields a simple expression inversely proportional to the square of the distance parameter.  相似文献
