Saddle points and gap functions for weak generalized Ky Fan inequalities

In this paper, we employ the image space analysis method to investigate a weak generalized Ky Fan inequality with cone constraints. Some regular weak separation functions are introduced, and generalized Lagrangian functions are constructed by using these regular weak separation functions. Under suitable convexity assumptions and Slater condition, the existence of solution for the weak generalized Ky Fan inequality with cone constraints is equivalent to a saddle point of the generalized Lagrangian functions. Moreover, we also use the regular weak separation functions to construct gap functions for the weak generalized Ky Fan inequality with cone constraints, and obtain its error bound.     

Gap Functions and Error Bounds for Weak Generalized Ky Fan Inequalities

In this paper, we study a weak generalized Ky Fan inequality with cone constraints through image space analysis. First, we characterize the separation for the weak generalized Ky Fan inequality with cone constraints using the saddle points of generalized Lagrangian function. Then, we use regular weak separation functions to construct gap functions and regularized gap functions for the weak generalized Ky Fan inequality with cone constraints in a general way, and establish its error bounds in terms of these gap functions.     

Nonsmooth Multiobjective Problems and Generalized Vector Variational Inequalities Using Quasi-Efficiency

In this paper, a multiobjective problem with a feasible set defined by inequality, equality and set constraints is considered, where the objective and constraint functions are locally Lipschitz. Here, a generalized Stampacchia vector variational inequality is formulated as a tool to characterize quasi- or weak quasi-efficient points. By using two new classes of generalized convexity functions, under suitable constraint qualifications, the equivalence between Kuhn–Tucker vector critical points, solutions to the multiobjective problem and solutions to the generalized Stampacchia vector variational inequality in both weak and strong forms will be proved.     

非紧集上不连续函数的Ky Fan不等式及其等价形式和应用

证明了非紧集上不具有任何连续性的函数弱Ky Fan点的存在性,给出了在函数只具非常弱的连续性和凸性条件下非紧集上Ky Fan不等式解的存在性,并给出它的两种等价形式.作为应用:(1)得到Ky Fan截口定理和Fan-Browder不动点定理的推广;(2)应用于博弈理论,得到几个新的Nash平衡存在性定理.     

MULTIPLICATION OF WEAK FUNCTIONS

This paper is a contionuation of [1] and is concerned with multiplication of weak functions. Here the weak functions are treated as generalized expansions in Hermite functions in [2].

Properties of functions generalized convex with respect to a WT-system

Continuity and convergence properties of functions, generalized convex with respect to a continuous weak Tchebysheff system, are investigated. It is shown that, under certain non-degeneracy assumptions on the weak Tchebysheff system, every function in its generalized convex cone is continuous, and pointwise convergent sequences of generalized convex functions are uniformly convergent on compact subsets of the domain. Further, it is proved that, with respect to a continuous Tchebysheff system, L_p-convergence to a continuous function, pointwise convergence and uniform convergence of a sequence of generalized convex functions are equivalent on compact subsets of the domain.     

Generalized Minty Vector Variational-Like Inequalities and Vector Optimization Problems

In this paper, we study the relationship among the generalized Minty vector variational-like inequality problem, generalized Stampacchia vector variational-like inequality problem and vector optimization problem for nondifferentiable and nonconvex functions. We also consider the weak formulations of the generalized Minty vector variational-like inequality problem and generalized Stampacchia vector variational-like inequality problem and give some relationships between the solutions of these problems and a weak efficient solution of the vector optimization problem.     

Inclusion properties of generalized Morrey spaces

This paper discusses the structure of Morrey spaces, weak Morrey spaces, generalized Morrey spaces, and generalized weak Morrey spaces. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for the inclusion property of these spaces are obtained through a norm estimate for the characteristic functions of balls.     

Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for Weak Quasi Efficiency in Nonsmooth Multiobjective Problems

In this article, a multiobjective problem with a feasible set defined by inequality, equality and set constraints is considered, where the objective and constraint functions are locally Lipschitz. Several constraint qualifications are given and the relations between them are analyzed. We establish Kuhn-Tucker and strong Kuhn-Tucker necessary optimality conditions for (weak) quasi e?ciency in terms of the Clarke subdifferential. By using two new classes of generalized convex functions, su?cient conditions for local (weak) quasi e?cient are also provided. Furthermore, we study the Mond-Weir type dual problem and establish weak, strong and converse duality results.     

Generalized weak subdifferentials

In this article, generalized weak subgradient (gw-subgradient) and generalized weak subdifferential (gw-subdifferential) are defined for nonconvex functions with values in an ordered vector space. Convexity and closedness of the gw-subdifferential are stated and proved. By using the gw-subdifferential, it is shown that the epigraph of nonconvex functions can be supported by a cone instead of an affine subspace. A generalized lower (locally) Lipschitz function is also defined. By using this definition, some existence conditions of the gw-subdifferentiability of any function are stated and some properties of gw-subdifferentials of any function are examined. Finally, by using gw-subdifferential, a global minimality condition is obtained for nonconvex functions.     

On the category of weak Cayley table morphisms between groups

Weak Cayley table functions between groups are generalized conjugacy-preserving homomorphisms, under which products of images are conjugate to images of products. There is a weak Cayley table bijection between two groups iff they have the same 2-characters. In this paper, weak Cayley table functions are augmented to include the specific conjugating elements, leading to the concept of a weak (Cayley table) morphism. If the conjugating elements are chosen subject to a crossed-product condition, then the weak morphisms between groups form a category. The forgetful functor to this category from the category of group homomorphisms is shown to possess a left adjoint. Two weak morphisms are said to be homotopic if they project to the same weak Cayley table function. As a first step in the analysis of the category of weak morphisms, the group of units of the monoid of weak morphisms homotopic to the identity automorphism of a group is described.     

Generalized invexity of nonsmooth functions

In this paper, the concepts of weak invexity and weak quasi invexity are introduced and the relations among several kinds of generalized invexity are studied for nonsmooth functions by means of the properties of limiting subdifferentials. In addition, the relations between generalized invexity of a nonsmooth function and generalized invariant monotonicity of its limiting subdifferential mapping are researched. Our results here are an extension and generalization of those presented by M. Soleimani-damaneh.

Sufficiency and duality in differentiable multiobjective programming involving generalized type I functions

In this paper, new classes of generalized (F,α,ρ,d)-type I functions are introduced for differentiable multiobjective programming. Based upon these generalized functions, first, we obtain several sufficient optimality conditions for feasible solution to be an efficient or weak efficient solution. Second, we prove weak and strong duality theorems for mixed type duality.     

Generalized Univex Functions in Nonsmooth Multiobjective Optimization

In this paper, we have considered a nonsmooth multiobjective optimization problem where the objective and constraint functions involved are directionally differentiable. A new class of generalized functions (d???ρ???η???θ)-type I univex is introduced which generalizes many earlier classes cited in literature. Based upon these generalized functions, we have derived weak, strong, converse and strict converse duality theorems for mixed type multiobjective dual program in order to relate the efficient and weak efficient solutions of primal and dual problem.     

Optimality and duality in vector optimization involving generalized type I functions over cones

In this paper generalized type-I, generalized quasi type-I, generalized pseudo type-I and other related functions over cones are defined for a vector minimization problem. Sufficient optimality conditions are studied for this problem using Clarke’s generalized gradients. A Mond-Weir type dual is formulated and weak and strong duality results are established.     

On Generalized Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper we prove the existence of solutions of the generalized vector equilibrium problem in the setting of Hausdorff topological vector spaces. As applications, we present some relevant particular cases: a generalized vector variational-like inequality in Hausdorff topological vector spaces, and equilibrium problem in the case of pseudomonotone real functions, and a generalized weak Pareto optima problem.     

A note on generalized nonlinear diagonal dominance

In this paper, an open problem, proposed by A. Frommer, about nonlinear generalized diagonal dominance, is solved on some weak restriction, a counterexample is presented if such a restriction is omitted, and some new properties of nonlinear generalized diagonally dominant functions are investigated.
