~(199)Hg NHR spectra of 18 Schiff base type arylmercury compounds have beenstudied.It was further confirmed that in the molecule of XC_6H_4CH=NC_6H_3-2-HgC1-4-CH_3there exists an intramolecular N→Hg coordination via a four-membered ring.For theseries of XC_6H_4CH=NC_6H_3-2-HgCl-4-CH_3(X is a para-or mera-substituent),there is agood linear correlation between δ~(199)Hg and Hammett's o constants.The influence ofsubstituents of C-pheny1 ring on the δ ~(199)Hg can be explained in terms of theintramolecular N→Hg coordination.

ON THE POLYCONDENSATION REACTION WITH MONOMER OF A_aB_b TYPE (Ⅲ)——THE SCALING STUDY

For the polycondensation reaction with monomer of A_aB_b type, the scaling problem asso-ciated with sol-gel transition is investigated to obtain an asymptotic form of the equilibriumnumber fraction distribution of n-mer near the gel point. As a direct result, a generalizedscaling law is obtained.

THEORETICAL STUDIES ON THE REACTION MECHANISM OF AMMONIA WITH FORMALDEHY DE

The reaction mechanism of ammonia with formaldehyde was investigated by usingthe intrinsic reaction coordinate(IRC)method on the ab initio RHF/STO-3G basis set.our results indicate that the reaction proceeds in two stages:the first step yieldsthe molecular complex and the second one is the rearrangement from molecular complex tothe reaction proauct.     

STUDIES ON THE REACTION OF d-ACETAMIDCCINNAMAMIDE WITH TRIS(DIETHYLAMINO)PHOSPHINE

d-Acetamidocinnamamide do not react with P(OMe)_3, with P(NEt_2)_3 they give rise to 2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-d-[bis(diethylamino)phosphoryl] benzyl imidazole.The pathway is studied for the formation of Ⅰ. The two intermediates(Ⅱ) are isolated.The structures of Ⅰ and Ⅱ are confirmed by IR, ~1H NMR, ~(31)P NMR, Ms.     

STUDIES ON THE SYNTHESES AND PROPERTIES OF SNAKE—CAGE TYPE CHELATE RESINS

Using carboxymethyl chitosan(CM-CTS) as snake resin,B-62 resin crosslinked by triethylentetraamine(TETA)as cage resin,a series of novel snake-cage type resin were synthesized.Such factors as the best synthetic conditions,the swelling and regeneration properties.and the sorption capactities of the above mentioned resins for metal ions were investigated.The experimental results show these resins have good swelling properties and mechanical stability,and do not run off in organic and inorganic solvents.The sorption capactities of them for Cu^2+,Ni^2+,Zn^2+,and Pb^2+ were 0.89,0.54,0.32,and 0.22mmol/g,rspectively.

Rapid addition of alcohols to 1,2,3-diazaphosphole 1 easily gave tricoordinatedphosphorus compounds,which were sulfurized to tetracoordinated phosphorus compounds.When ethylene glycol and aminoethanol were used separately to react with 1,the tricoordinatedphosphorus compounds which formed,rearranged to pentacoordinated phosphorus compoundsand the substituents at N_2 affected the rearrangement significantly.

STRUCTURE OF CUPRIC COMPLEX WITH BIS—SCHIFF BASE

<正> The cupric complex CCu(PyNOpn)](ClO4)2 of bis-Schiff base was prepared by condensation of picolinaldehyde N-oxide (PyNO) with 1,2-propane di-amine (pn). Mr = 546. 76, monoclinic, space group P21/n, a = 6. 968(1), b = 12. 696(2), c=23. 122(5)(?), β = 97. 04(1)°, 7 = 2029: 98(?)3, 2 = 4, D, =1. 789g/ cm3, μ=14.0cm-1, F(000) = 1108, R = 0. 045 and Rw = 0. 051 for 1130 observed reflections. The ligand (PyNOpn) plays as a distorted square planar N2O2 donor via amide nitrogen atoms and N-oxide oxygen atoms coortinated to the Cu(Ⅱ) atom.     

AB INITIO STUDIES ON THE REACTION MECHANISH OF CYCLOADDITION OF KETENE AND FORMALDEHYDE

The cycloaddition reaction of ketene and formaldehyde,lesding to 2-oxetanone,has been studied theoretically by means of RHF/3-21G.This reactionis believed to be nonsynchronous but concerted,taking place through a twistedfour membered ring transition state.Two types of frontier orbitalinteractions are involved in this reaction.The activation barrier iscalculated to be 123.1KJ/mol (MP2/3-21G result).     

STUDIES ON THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND CRYSTALLIZATION BEHAVIOR OF POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITES

The effects of inter facial modifier on the mechanical, dynamic mechanical properties andcrystallization behavior of the polyethylene composites were investigated in the present paper.It was found that the interfacial modifer significantly improved the mechanical properties,influenced the dynamic mechanical spectra and slightly changed the crystallization behavior.The results showed that the interfacial modifier changed the dispersion state of dispersedphase of the composites, resulting in different phase structure, which was the major reasonIeading to different mechanical and crystallization properties.     

MCSCF STUDIES ON THE IRC AND REACTION RATE CONSTANTS FOR THE DEHYDROGENATION REACTION OF VINYL RADICAL

The transition state(TS) and Intrinsic Reaction Coordinate (IRC) for the titled reaction were traced by means of MCSCF/6-31G (210 configurations). The reaction activation energy of this reaction is 140.2KJ/mol. The reaction rate constants of five temperetures were calculated by CVT involving the tunneling effects.
