The reaction of 4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-carbaldehydes with coumarin-4-acetic acids under the Perkin conditions follows an interesting pathway that involves aldol reaction and subsequent intramolecular lactonization to afford 2-oxo-2H,5H-pyrano[3,2-c]chromene skeleton. In contrast to chromone-3-carbaldehydes, the same reaction with chromone-2-carbaldehydes yielded only the aldol condensation product. The reaction was performed under thermal and microwave conditions. The reactivity of 2-oxo-2H,5H-pyrano[3,2-c]chromenes in water, alcohol and acetic acid was described.  相似文献

Vilsmeier’s reagent treatment of substituted diphenacyl sulfides or diphenacyl disulfides has led to the formation of a series of benzfused 3-chlorothiophene-2-carbaldehydes by a Domino Vilsmeier-Haack reaction/ring closure sequence, opening a new route for the synthesis of 3-chlorobenzo[b]thiophene-2-carbaldehydes and their benzfused analogues. A number of furan-2-ylmethylidene-substituted lactones were synthesized by condensation of 5-alkylfuran-2(3H)-ones and 4-alkyldihydrofuran-2(3H)-ones with 5-substituted furan-2-carbaldehydes. The reactivity of furan-2(3H)-ones was higher than that of furan-2(5H)-ones due to formation of intermediate conjugated anion. The condensation of 4-alkyldihydrofuran-2(3H)-ones with furan-2-carbaldehydes required more severe conditions than the condensation with furan-2(3H)-ones. The substituent in the furan ring affects the reaction time and yield.  相似文献

The facile and efficient synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyrazolo-pyrano-[2,3-b]quinoline derivatives from the reaction of 2-chloroquinoline-3-carbaldehydes and pyrazolones is described. A number of 1-methyl-4-[2-(1-naphthyl)ethenyl]pyridinium salts were synthesized by condensation of 1,4-dimethylpyridinium iodide with naphthalene-1-carbaldehydes containing dimethylamino groups in positions 4 and 5. The obtained salts are characterized by negative solvatochromism which is the most pronounced for those possessing 1,8-bis(dimethylamino)naphthalene (“proton sponge”) and 1,2,2,3-tetramethyl-2,3-dihydroperimidine residues.  相似文献

This Letter describes the synthesis of challenging pyridyl analogues of 3-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-(benzothiazine or benzoxazine)-6-carbaldehydes. 1-Vinylpyrrole-2-carbaldehydes and 1-vinyl-4,5-dihydrobenzo[g]indole-2-carbaldehyde were synthesized in 56-91% yields from their 1-vinyl derivatives by a modified Vilsmeier-Haack reaction. A low temperature (−78 °C) is required to avoid removal of the N-vinyl group, whereas at elevated temperature (reflux in 1,2-dichloroethane) the latter process leads to direct conversion of 1-vinylpyrroles to pyrrole-2-carbaldehydes.  相似文献

An efficient, high yielding and environmentally benign strategy to the synthesis of new 2-amino-3-cyano-4-H-chromene derivatives, via one-pot three-component reaction involving malononitrile, various α- or β-naphthol and appropriate aromatic aldehydes including 2-chloroquinoline-3-carbaldehydes in the presence of morpholine in water, was achieved. During the development of the synthesis five new chromene derivatives were fruitfully synthesized. It was found that employing this approach, aromatic aldehydes bearing electron-withdrawing groups give higher yields of the corresponding products in shorter reaction times. This observation was in agreement with topological analysis of calculated electron density functions using density functional theory and quantum theory of atoms in molecules approaches.  相似文献

Knoevenagel condensation of 2-(benzothiazol-2-ylthio) acetonitrile (2) with either furan-2-carbaldehyde or thiophene-2-carbaldehydes leads to E-isomers 4a-b exclusively, while the condensation of the compound 2 with benzaldehyde or para-substituted benzaldehydes with an electron-donating group afforded E/Z mixtures 4c-e with preferentially formation of the E-isomer. Condensation of furan-2-carbaldehyde (3a) with either 1-(benzothiazol-2'-ylthio) propan-2-one (5) or 2-(2'-oxo propylthio)-3-phenyl-quinazolin-4(3H)-one (9) leads exclusively to the Z-isomers of 6 and 10, respectively. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by elemental analyses, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectra, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, NOE, MS and X-ray crystallographic investigations.  相似文献

2-Amidinylindol-3-carbaldehydes bearing an α-alkoxycarbonyl substituent on the cyclic-tertiary amine moiety were prepared. Pyrolysis of these amidines in diethylenglycol-monoethyl ether produced mainly a pyrrolo[1′,2′-1,2]-1,4-diazepino[5,6-b]indol-7,11-dione. Six new sesquiterpenoids and two new norsesquiterpenoids were isolated from the essential oils of three liverworts. The isolated compounds include (+)-eudesma-4,11-dien-8α-ol from the liverwort Diplophyllum albicans, (−)-4β,5β-diacetoxygymnomitr-3(15)-ene, (+)-5β-acetoxygymnomitr-3(15)-ene, (−)-15-acetoxygymnomitr-3-ene, (−)-3β,15β-epoxy-4β-acetoxygymnomitrane, and (−)-3α,15α-epoxy-4β-acetoxygymnomitrane from Marsupella emarginata, and (+)-1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-1,4-dimethylazulene and (−)-2,3,3a,4,5,6-hexahydro-1,4-dimethylazulen-4-ol from Barbilophozia floerkei. These compounds were isolated by a combination of different chromatographic techniques, and their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic studies (MS, 1H, 13C, and 2D NMR) and chemical transformations using enantioselective GC.  相似文献
