Novel photosynthetic reaction center model compounds of the type donor2–donor1–acceptor, composed of phenothiazine, BF2‐chelated dipyrromethene (BODIPY), and fullerene, respectively, have been newly synthesized using multistep synthetic methods. X‐ray structures of three of the phenothiazine‐BODIPY intermediate compounds have been solved to visualize the substitution effect caused by the phenothiazine on the BODIPY macrocycle. Optical absorption and emission, computational, and differential pulse voltammetry studies were systematically performed to establish the molecular integrity of the triads. The N‐substituted phenothiazine was found to be easier to oxidize by 60 mV compared to the C‐substituted analogue. The geometry and electronic structures were obtained by B3LYP/6‐31G(dp) calculations (for H, B, N, and O) and B3LYP/6‐31G(df) calculations (for S) in vacuum, followed by a single‐point calculation in benzonitrile utilizing the polarizable continuum model (PCM). The HOMO?1, HOMO, and LUMO were, respectively, on the BODIPY, phenothiazine and fullerene entities, which agreed well with the site of electron transfer determined from electrochemical studies. The energy‐level diagram deduced from these data helped in elucidating the mechanistic details of the photochemical events. Excitation of BODIPY resulted in ultrafast electron transfer to produce PTZ–BODIPY.+–C60.?; subsequent hole shift resulted in PTZ.+–BODIPY–C60.? charge‐separated species. The return of the charge‐separated species was found to be solvent dependent. In nonpolar solvents the PTZ.+–BODIPY–C60.? species populated the 3C60* prior to returning to the ground state, while in polar solvent no such process was observed due to relative positioning of the energy levels. The 1BODIPY* generated radical ion‐pair in these triads persisted for few nanoseconds due to electron transfer/hole‐shift mechanism.  相似文献

An electron‐donor‐acceptor‐acceptor (D‐A1‐A2) triad has been developed that provides the first proof‐of‐concept for a photoinitiated molecular circuit. After photoexcitation into an optical charge‐transfer transition between D and A1, subsequent thermal electron‐transfer from A1.? to A2 is followed by geometric rearrangement in the D.+‐A1‐A2.? charge‐separated state to form an ion‐pair contact. This facilitates “forward” charge recombination between A2.? and D.+ to complete the molecular circuit with an estimated quantum efficiency of 4 % in toluene at 298 K.  相似文献

We show that the radical cations of adamantane (C10H16.+, 1 H.+) and perdeuteroadamantane (C10D16.+, 1 D.+) are stable species in the gas phase. The radical cation of adamantylideneadamantane (C20H28.+, 2 H.+) is also stable (as in solution). By using the natural 13C abundances of the ions, we determine the rate constants for the reversible isergonic single‐electron transfer (SET) processes involving the dyads 1 H.+/ 1 H, 1 D.+/ 1 D and 2 H.+/ 2 H. Rate constants for the reaction 1 H.++ 1 D? 1 H+ 1 D.+ are also determined and Marcus’ cross‐term equation is shown to hold in this case. The rate constants for the isergonic processes are extremely high, practically collision‐controlled. Ab initio computations of the electronic coupling (HDA) and the reorganization energy (λ) allow rationalization of the mechanism of the process and give insights into the possible role of intermediate complexes in the reaction mechanism.  相似文献

Two self‐assembled supramolecular donor–acceptor triads consisting of AlIII porphyrin (AlPor) with axially bound naphthalenediimide (NDI) as an acceptor and tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) as a secondary donor are reported. In the triads, the NDI and TTF units are attached to AlIII on opposite faces of the porphyrin, through covalent and coordination bonds, respectively. Fluorescence studies show that the lowest excited singlet state of the porphyrin is quenched through electron transfer to NDI and hole transfer to TTF. In dichloromethane hole transfer to TTF dominates, whereas in benzonitrile (BN) electron transfer to NDI is the main quenching pathway. In the nematic phase of the liquid crystalline solvent 4‐(n‐pentyl)‐4′‐cyanobiphenyl (5CB), a spin‐polarized transient EPR spectrum that is readily assigned to the weakly coupled radical pair TTF.+NDI.? is obtained. The initial polarization pattern indicates that the charge separation occurs through the singlet channel and that singlet–triplet mixing occurs in the primary radical pair. At later time the polarization pattern inverts as a result of depopulation of the states with singlet character by recombination to the ground state. The singlet lifetime of TTF.+NDI.? is estimated to be 200–300 ns, whereas the triplet lifetime in the approximately 350 mT magnetic field of the X‐band EPR spectrometer is about 10 μs. In contrast, in dichloromethane and BN the lifetime of the charge separation is <10 ns.  相似文献

The two molecular triads 1a and 1b consisting of a porphyrin (P) covalently linked to a fullerene (C60) electron acceptor and tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) electron‐donor moiety were synthesized, and their photochemical properties were determined by transient absorption and emission techniques. Excitation of the free‐base‐porphyrin moiety of the TTF−P2 H−C60 triad 1a in tetrahydro‐2‐methylfuran solution yields the porphyrin first excited singlet state TTF−1P2 H−C60, which undergoes photoinduced electron transfer with a time constant of 25 ps to give TTF−P2 H.+−C60.−. This intermediate charge‐separated state has a lifetime of 230 ps, decaying mainly by a charge‐shift reaction to yield a final state, TTF.+−P2 H−C60.−. The final state has a lifetime of 660 ns, is formed with an overall yield of 92%, and preserves ca. 1.0 eV of the 1.9 eV inherent in the porphyrin excited state. Similar behavior is observed for the zinc analog 1b . The TTF‐PZn.+−C60.− state is formed by ultrafast electron transfer from the porphyrinatozinc excited singlet state with a time constant of 1.5 ps. The final TTF.+−PZn−C60.− state is generated with a yield of 16%, and also has a lifetime of 660 ns. Although charge recombination to yield a triplet has been observed in related donor‐acceptor systems, the TTF.+−P−C60.− states recombine to the ground state, because the molecule lacks low‐energy triplet states. This structural feature leads to a longer lifetime for the final charge‐separated state, during which the stored energy could be harvested for solar‐energy conversion or molecular optoelectronic applications.  相似文献

Back electron transfer (BET) is one of the important processes that govern the decay of generated ion pairs in intermolecular photoinduced electron transfer reactions. Unfortunately, a detailed mechanism of BET reactions remains largely unknown in spite of their importance for the development of molecular photovoltaic structures. Here, we examine the BET reaction of pyrene (Py) and 1,4‐dicyanobenzene (DCB) in acetonitrile (ACN) by using time‐resolved near‐ and mid‐IR spectroscopy. The Py dimer radical cation (Py2.+) and DCB radical anion (DCB.?) generated after photoexcitation of Py show asynchronous decay kinetics. To account for this observation, we propose a reaction mechanism that involves electron transfer from DCB.? to the solvent and charge recombination between the resulting ACN dimer anion and Py2.+. The unique role of ACN as a charge mediator revealed herein could have implications for strategies that retard charge recombination in dye‐sensitized solar cells.  相似文献

High oxidation potential perfluorinated zinc phthalocyanines (ZnFnPcs) are synthesised and their spectroscopic, redox, and light‐induced electron‐transfer properties investigated systematically by forming donor–acceptor dyads through metal–ligand axial coordination of fullerene (C60) derivatives. Absorption and fluorescence spectral studies reveal efficient binding of the pyridine‐ (Py) and phenylimidazole‐functionalised fullerene (C60Im) derivatives to the zinc centre of the FnPcs. The determined binding constants, K, in o‐dichlorobenzene for the 1:1 complexes are in the order of 104 to 105 M ?1; nearly an order of magnitude higher than that observed for the dyad formed from zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc) lacking fluorine substituents. The geometry and electronic structure of the dyads are determined by using the B3LYP/6‐31G* method. The HOMO and LUMO levels are located on the Pc and C60 entities, respectively; this suggests the formation of ZnFnPc.+–C60Im.? and ZnFnPc.+–C60Py.? (n=0, 8 or 16) intra‐supramolecular charge‐separated states during electron transfer. Electrochemical studies on the ZnPc–C60 dyads enable accurate determination of their oxidation and reduction potentials and the energy of the charge‐separated states. The energy of the charge‐separated state for dyads composed of ZnFnPc is higher than that of normal ZnPc–C60 dyads and reveals their significance in harvesting higher amounts of light energy. Evidence for charge separation in the dyads is secured from femtosecond transient absorption studies in nonpolar toluene. Kinetic evaluation of the cation and anion radical ion peaks reveals ultrafast charge separation and charge recombination in dyads composed of perfluorinated phthalocyanine and fullerene; this implies their significance in solar‐energy harvesting and optoelectronic device building applications.  相似文献

Cup‐shaped nanocarbons (CNC) generated by the electron‐transfer reduction of cup‐stacked carbon nanotubes have been functionalized with porphyrins (H2P) as light‐capturing chromophores. The resulting donor–acceptor nanohybrid has been characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Raman and IR spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, elemental analysis, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The weight of the porphyrins attached to the cup‐shaped nanocarbons was determined as 20 % by TGA and elemental analysis. The UV/Vis absorption spectrum of CNC? (H2P)n in DMF agrees well with that obtained by the superposition of reference porphyrin (ref‐H2P) and cup‐shaped nanocarbons. The photoexcitation of the CNC? (H2P)n nanohybrid results in formation of the charge‐separated (CS) state to attain the longest CS lifetime (0.64±0.01 ms) ever reported for donor–acceptor nanohybrids, which may arise from efficient electron migration following the charge separation. The formation of a radical ion pair was detected directly by electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements under photoirradiation of CNC? (H2P)n with a high‐pressure mercury lamp in frozen DMF at 153 K. The observed ESR signal at g=2.0044 agrees with that of ref‐H2P.+ produced by one‐electron oxidation with [Ru(bpy)3]3+ in deaerated CHCl3, indicating the formation of H2P.+. The electron‐acceptor ability of the reference CNC compound (ref‐CNC) was also examined by the electron‐transfer reduction of ref‐CNC by a series of semiquinone radical anions.  相似文献

Visible‐light‐driven H2 evolution based on Dye/TiO2/Pt hybrid photocatalysts was investigated for a series of (E)‐3‐(5′‐{4‐[bis(4‐R1‐phenyl)amino]phenyl}‐4,4′‐(R2)2‐2,2′‐bithiophen‐5‐yl)‐2‐cyanoacrylic acid dyes. Efficiencies of hydrogen evolution from aqueous suspensions in the presence of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid as electron donor under illumination at λ>420 nm were found to considerably depend on the hydrophilic character of R1, varying in the order MOD (R1=CH3OCH2, R2=H)≈ MO4D (R1=R2=CH3OCH2)> HD (R1=R2=H)> PD (R1=C3H7, R2=H). In the case of MOD /TiO2/Pt, the apparent quantum yield for photocatalyzed H2 generation at 436 nm was 0.27±0.03. Transient absorption measurements for MOD ‐ or PD ‐grafted transparent films of TiO2 nanoparticles dipped into water at pH 3 commonly revealed ultrafast formation (<100 fs) of the dye radical cation (Dye.+) followed by multicomponent decays, which involve minor fast decays (<5 ps) almost independent of R1 and major slower decays with significant differences between the two samples: 1) the early decay of the major components for MOD is about 2.5 times slower than that for PD and 2) a redshift of the spectrum occurred for MOD with a time constant of 17 ps, but not for PD . The substituent effects on H2 generation as well as on transient behavior have been discussed in terms substituent‐dependent charge recombination (CR) of Dye.+ with electrons in bulk, inner‐trap, and/or interstitial‐trap states, arising from different solvent reorganization.  相似文献

A porphyrin–flavin‐linked dyad and its zinc and palladium complexes (MPor?Fl: 2 ?M, M=2 H, Zn, and Pd) were newly synthesized and the X‐ray crystal structure of 2 ?Pd was determined. The photodynamics of 2 ?M were examined by femto‐ and nanosecond laser flash photolysis measurements. Photoinduced electron transfer (ET) in 2 ?H2 occurred from the singlet excited state of the porphyrin moiety (H2Por) to the flavin (Fl) moiety to produce the singlet charge‐separated (CS) state 1(H2Por.+?Fl.?), which decayed through back ET (BET) to form 3[H2Por]*?Fl with rate constants of 1.2×1010 and 1.2×109 s?1, respectively. Similarly, photoinduced ET in 2 ?Pd afforded the singlet CS state, which decayed through BET to form 3[PdPor]*?Fl with rate constants of 2.1×1011 and 6.0×1010 s?1, respectively. The rate constant of photoinduced ET and BET of 2 ?M were related to the ET and BET driving forces by using the Marcus theory of ET. One and two Sc3+ ions bind to the flavin moiety to form the Fl?Sc3+ and Fl?(Sc3+)2 complexes with binding constants of K1=2.2×105 M ?1 and K2=1.8×103 M ?1, respectively. Other metal ions, such as Y3+, Zn2+, and Mg2+, form only 1:1 complexes with flavin. In contrast to 2 ?M and the 1:1 complexes with metal ions, which afforded the short‐lived singlet CS state, photoinduced ET in 2 ?Pd???Sc3+ complexes afforded the triplet CS state (3[PdPor.+?Fl.??(Sc3+)2]), which exhibited a remarkably long lifetime of τ=110 ms (kBET=9.1 s?1).  相似文献

We investigate activation of carbon dioxide by singly charged hydrated magnesium cations Mg .+(H2O)n, through infrared multiple photon dissociation (IRMPD) spectroscopy combined with quantum chemical calculations. The spectra of [MgCO2(H2O)n].+ in the 1250–4000 cm?1 region show a sharp transition from n=2 to n=3 for the position of the CO2 antisymmetric stretching mode. This is evidence for the activation of CO2 via charge transfer from Mg .+ to CO2 for n≥3, while smaller clusters feature linear CO2 coordinated end‐on to the metal center. Starting with n=5, we see a further conformational change, with CO2.? coordination to Mg2+ gradually shifting from bidentate to monodentate, consistent with preferential hexa‐coordination of Mg2+. Our results reveal in detail how hydration promotes CO2 activation by charge transfer at metal centers.  相似文献

A new π‐conjugated copolymer, namely, poly{cyanofluore‐alt‐[5‐(N,N′‐diphenylamino)phenylenevinylene]} ((CNF–TPA)n), was synthesized by condensation polymerization of 2,2′‐(9,9‐dioctyl‐9H‐fluorene‐2,7‐diyl)diacetonitrile and 5‐(N,N′‐diphenylamino)benzene‐1,3‐dicarbaldehyde by using the Knoevenagel reaction. By design, diphenylamine, alkylfluorene and poly(p‐phenylenevinylene) linkages were combined to form a (CNF–TPA)n copolymer which exhibits high thermal stability and glass‐transition temperature. Photodynamic measurements in polar benzonitrile indicate fast and efficient photoinduced electron transfer (≈1011 s?1) from triphenylamine (TPA) to cyanofluorene (CNF) to produce the long‐lived charge‐separated state (90 μs). The finding that the charge‐recombination process of (CNF.?–TPA.+)n is much slower than the charge separation in polar benzonitrile suggests a potential application in molecular‐level electronic and optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

The H.‐atom transfer (HAT) reaction is investigated in the gas phase, starting from two different entrance channels, O2.+/CH2X2 and CH2X2.+/O2 (X=F, Cl), that correspond to a step of hydride transfer and to HAT, respectively. Analysis of the spin and charge along the reaction pathway shows that HAT occurs through the same reacting configuration, irrespective of whether the reactants are formed within the complex or are free isolated species.  相似文献

Two new artificial mimics of the photosynthetic antenna‐reaction center complex have been designed and synthesized (BDP‐H2P‐C60 and BDP‐ZnP‐C60). The resulting electron‐donor/acceptor conjugates contain a porphyrin (either in its free‐base form (H2P) or as Zn‐metalated complex (ZnP)), a boron dipyrrin (BDP), and a fulleropyrrolidine possessing, as substituent of the pyrrolidine nitrogen, an ethylene glycol chain terminating in an amino group C60‐X‐NH2 (X=spacer). In both cases, the three different components were connected by s‐triazine through stepwise substitution reactions of cyanuric chloride. In addition to the facile synthesis, the star‐type arrangement of the three photo‐ and redox‐active components around the central s‐triazine unit permits direct interaction between one another, in contrast to reported examples in which the three components are arranged in a linear fashion. The energy‐ and electron‐transfer properties of the resulting electron‐donor/acceptor conjugates were investigated by using UV/Vis absorption and emission spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy. Comparison of the absorption spectra and cyclic voltammograms of BDP‐H2P‐C60 and BDP‐ZnP‐C60 with those of BDP‐H2P, BDP‐ZnP and BDP‐C60, which were used as references, showed that the spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of the individual constituents are basically retained, although some appreciable shifts in terms of absorption indicate some interactions in the ground state. Fluorescence lifetime measurements and transient absorption experiments helped to elucidate the antenna function of BDP, which upon selective excitation undergoes a rapid and efficient energy transfer from BDP to H2P or ZnP. This is then followed by an electron transfer to C60, yielding the formation of the singlet charge‐separated states, namely BDP‐H2P .+‐ C60 .? and BDP‐ZnP .+‐ C60 . ?. As such, the sequence of energy transfer and electron transfer in the present models mimics the events of natural photosynthesis.  相似文献

Ab initio MP2/aug′‐cc‐pVTZ calculations are used to investigate the binary complexes H2XP:HF, the ternary complexes H2XP:(FH)2, and the quaternary complexes H2XP:(FH)3, for X=CH3, OH, H, CCH, F, Cl, NC, and CN. Hydrogen‐bonded (HB) binary complexes are formed between all H2XP molecules and FH, but only H2FP, H2ClP, and H2(NC)P form pnicogen‐bonded (ZB) complexes with FH. Ternary complexes with (FH)2 are stabilized by F?H???P and F?H???F hydrogen bonds and F???P pnicogen bonds, except for H2(CH3)P:(FH)2 and H3P:(FH)2, which do not have pnicogen bonds. All quaternary complexes H2XP:(FH)3 are stabilized by both F?H???P and F?H???F hydrogen bonds and P???F pnicogen bonds. Thus, (FH)2 with two exceptions, and (FH)3 can bridge the σ‐hole and the lone pair at P in these complexes. The binding energies of H2XP:(FH)3 complexes are significantly greater than the binding energies of H2XP:(FH)2 complexes, and nonadditivities are synergistic in both series. Charge transfer occurs across all intermolecular bonds from the lone‐pair donor atom to an antibonding σ* orbital of the acceptor molecule, and stabilizes these complexes. Charge‐transfer energies across the pnicogen bond correlate with the intermolecular P?F distance, while charge‐transfer energies across F?H???P and F?H???F hydrogen bonds correlate with the distance between the lone‐pair donor atom and the hydrogen‐bonded H atom. In binary and quaternary complexes, charge transfer energies also correlate with the distance between the electron‐donor atom and the hydrogen‐bonded F atom. EOM‐CCSD spin‐spin coupling constants 2hJ(F–P) across F?H???P hydrogen bonds, and 1pJ(P–F) across pnicogen bonds in binary, ternary, and quaternary complexes exhibit strong correlations with the corresponding intermolecular distances. Hydrogen bonds are better transmitters of F–P coupling data than pnicogen bonds, despite the longer F???P distances in F?H???P hydrogen bonds compared to P???F pnicogen bonds. There is a correlation between the two bond coupling constants 2hJ(F–F) in the quaternary complexes and the corresponding intermolecular distances, but not in the ternary complexes, a reflection of the distorted geometries of the bridging dimers in ternary complexes.  相似文献

Reduction of the FeII complex [(PhPP2Cy)FeCl2] ( 2 ) generated an electron‐rich and unsaturated Fe0 species, which was reacted with white phosphorus. The resulting new complex, [(PhPP2Cy)Fe(η4‐P4)] ( 3 ), is the first iron cyclo‐P4 complex and the only known stable end‐deck cyclo‐P4 complex outside Group V. Complex 3 features an FeII center, as shown by Mössbauer spectroscopy, associated to a P42? fragment. The distinct reactivity of complex 3 was rationalized by analysis of the molecular orbitals. Reaction of complex 3 with H+ afforded the unstable complex [(PhPP2Cy)Fe(η4‐P4)(H)]+ ( 4 ), whereas with CuCl and BCF, the complexes [(PhPP2Cy)Fe(η41‐P4)(μ‐CuCl)]2 ( 5 ) and [(PhPP2Cy)Fe(η41‐P4)B(C6F5)3] ( 6 ) were formed.  相似文献

Aromatic ketones are enantioseletively hydrogenated in alcohols containing [RuX{(S,S)‐Tsdpen}(η6p‐cymene)] (Tsdpen=TsNCH(C6H5)CH(C6H5)NH2; X=TfO, Cl) as precatalysts. The corresponding Ru hydride (X=H) acts as a reducing species. The solution structures and complete spectral assignment of these complexes have been determined using 2D NMR (1H‐1H DQF‐COSY, 1H‐13C HMQC, 1H‐15N HSQC, and 1H‐19F HOESY). Depending on the nature of the solvents and conditions, the precatalysts exist as a covalently bound complex, tight ion pair of [Ru+(Tsdpen)(cymene)] and X?, solvent‐separated ion pair, or discrete free ions. Solvent effects on the NH2 chemical shifts of the Ru complexes and the hydrodynamic radius and volume of the Ru+ and TfO? ions elucidate the process of precatalyst activation for hydrogenation. Most notably, the Ru triflate possessing a high ionizability, substantiated by cyclic voltammetry, exists in alcoholic solvents largely as a solvent‐separated ion pair and/or free ions. Accordingly, its diffusion‐derived data in CD3OD reflect the independent motion of [Ru+(Tsdpen)(cymene)] and TfO?. In CDCl3, the complex largely retains the covalent structure showing similar diffusion data for the cation and anion. The Ru triflate and chloride show similar but distinct solution behavior in various solvents. Conductivity measurements and catalytic behavior demonstrate that both complexes ionize in CH3OH to generate a common [Ru+(Tsdpen)(cymene)] and X?, although the extent is significantly greater for X=TfO?. The activation of [RuX(Tsdpen)(cymene)] during catalytic hydrogenation in alcoholic solvent occurs by simple ionization to generate [Ru+(Tsdpen)(cymene)]. The catalytic activity is thus significantly influenced by the reaction conditions.  相似文献

The synthesis and photophysical properties of several porphyrin (P)–phthalocyanine (Pc) conjugates (P–Pc; 1 – 3 ) are described, in which the phthalocyanines are directly linked to the β‐pyrrolic position of a meso‐tetraphenylporphyrin. Photoinduced energy‐ and electron‐transfer processes were studied through the preparation of H2P–ZnPc, ZnP–ZnPc, and PdP–ZnPc conjugates, and their assembly through metal coordination with two different pyridylfulleropyrrolidines ( 4 and 5 ). The resulting electron‐donor–acceptor hybrids, which were formed by axial coordination of compounds 4 and 5 with the corresponding phthalocyanines, mimicked the fundamental processes of photosynthesis; that is, light harvesting, the transduction of excited‐state energy, and unidirectional electron transfer. In particular, photophysical studies confirmed that intramolecular energy‐transfer resulted from the S2 excited state as well as from the S1 excited state of the porphyrins to the energetically lower‐lying phthalocyanines, followed by an intramolecular charge‐transfer to yield P–Pc.+ ? C60.?. This unique sequence of processes opens the way for solar‐energy‐conversion processes.  相似文献

An unexpected mechanistic switch as well as a change of the product distribution in the thermal gas‐phase activation of methane have been identified when diatomic [ZnO].+ is ligated with acetonitrile. Theoretical studies suggest that a strong metal–carbon attraction in the pristine [ZnO].+ species plays an important role in the rebound of the incipient CH3. radical to the metal center, thus permitting the competitive generation of CH3., OH., and CH3OH. This interaction is drastically weakened by a single CH3CN ligand. As a result, upon ligation the proton‐coupled single electron transfer that prevails for [ZnO].+/CH4 switches to the classical hydrogen‐atom‐transfer process, thus giving rise to the exclusive expulsion of CH3.. This ligand effect can be modeled quite well by an oriented external electric field of a negative point charge.  相似文献

A ruthenium complex, porphyrin sensitizer, fullerene acceptor molecular pentad has been synthesized and a long‐lived hole–electron pair was achieved in aqueous solution by photoinduced multistep electron transfer: Upon irradiation by visible light, the excited‐state of a zinc porphyrin (1ZnP*) was quenched by fullerene (C60) to afford a radical ion pair, 1,3(ZnP.+‐C60.−). This was followed by the subsequent electron transfer from a water oxidation catalyst unit (RuII) to ZnP.+ to give the long‐lived charge‐separated state, RuIII‐ZnP‐C60.−, with a lifetime of 14 μs. The ZnP worked as a visible‐light‐harvesting antenna, while the C60 acted as an excellent electron acceptor. As a consequence, visible‐light‐driven water oxidation by this integrated photosynthetic model compound was achieved in the presence of sacrificial oxidant and redox mediator.  相似文献
