近年来,锂金属电池由于具有较高的能量密度而成为储能领域的研究热点。电解液作为锂金属电池的“血液”发挥着至关重要的作用。在传统锂离子电池电解液中,锂金属负极与电解液之间的界面副反应严重并伴随着锂枝晶生长,从而导致安全隐患以及循环寿命缩短等问题。在解决锂金属负极问题上,电解液调控策略具有易操作性和有效性,因而在推动锂金属电池发展方面具有举足轻重的地位。氟代电解液是目前重要的研究方向,氟代电解液在循环过程中能够在电极表面形成富含LiF的固体电解质界面膜(SEI);该界面膜不仅可以有效抑制负极锂枝晶的形成,并且在正极方面能够大幅提高电解液的氧化稳定性,从而提升高电压正极的适配性和锂金属电池的循环稳定性。氟代电解液中氟代溶剂/氟代锂盐的分子结构对电解液的溶剂化结构有重要影响。当氟代溶剂分子中氟原子的位置与数量不同时,氟代溶剂的物理化学性质也会随之发生变化,进而改变了电解液与电极的界面反应性。因此,氟代溶剂能够起到调制SEI膜成分和结构的作用,是决定电池性能的关键因素。本文总结了应用于锂金属电池的主要氟代溶剂,尤其是近几年来发展的新型氟代溶剂;着重介绍了高度氟代的溶剂分子作为局域超浓电解液的稀释剂,以及对溶剂进行精准分子设计得到的部分氟代溶剂等。此外,本文还分析探讨了氟代溶剂分子与电池性能之间的构效关系,展望了构建新型氟代溶剂分子的策略,希望能对电解液溶剂分子的结构设计以及构效关系的评估有一定的启发意义。  相似文献

Lithium metal batteries, which use lithium metal as the anode, have attracted tremendous research interest in recent years, owing to their high energy density and potential for future energy storage applications. Despite their advantages such as high energy density, the safety concerns and short lifespan significantly impede their practical applications in transportation and electronic devices. Tremendous efforts have been devoted to overcoming these problems, including materials design, interface modification, and electrolyte engineering. Among these strategies, electrolyte regulation plays a key role in improving the efficiency, stability, and safety of lithium metal anodes. As an important class of electrolyte components, fluorinated solvents, which can decompose to form LiF-rich interphase layers on both anode and cathode, have been proven to enhance the stability of lithium metal anodes and improve the oxidative stability of the electrolytes. Meanwhile, the spatial structure of fluorinated solvents, such as the number and sites of fluorine atoms, can influence the physicochemical properties of the electrolytes and the compositions/structure of the solid-electrolyte interphase, which eventually dictates the cycling performance of Li metal batteries. Recently, many fluorinated solvents with different molecular structures have been designed to regulate the solvation structure of electrolytes, and these solvents exhibit novel electrochemical properties in lithium metal batteries. However, there are few comprehensive reviews that summarize the fluorinated solvents used in Li metal batteries and discuss their functions in electrolytes and their physicochemical properties. This review summarizes the novel fluorinated solvents used in lithium metal batteries in recent years, which have been classified into three parts: diluents, traditional solvents, and novel molecules, based on their functions in the electrolytes. In every part, the understanding of the interactions between fluorinated solvents and Li ions, the decomposition mechanism of fluorinated solvents at the interface of the electrode, the functions of fluorinated solvents in the electrolytes, and the structure-activity relationship between the fluorinated solvents and battery performance have been comprehensively summarized and discussed. Moreover, the advantages and disadvantages of fluorinated solvents have been discussed, and the importance of precisely controlling the number of fluorine atoms and the structure of fluorinated solvents has been emphasized. At the end of this review, a perspective for designing new fluorinated solvents has been proposed. We believe that this review can provide insights on designing novel fluorinated solvents for high-performance Li metal batteries.   相似文献

本文回顾了22年来作者的电化学储能研究活动,共分三个部分. 第一部分叙述高比能量、高比功率储能器件研究,包括锂硫电池研究(硫复合正极材料、锂硫电池制作、锂硼合金作为锂硫电池负极、硫-锂离子电池新体系)、超级电容器研究(超级活性炭、以酚醛树脂为原料制备电容炭、碳纳米管阵列中寄生准电容储能材料、氧化镍干凝胶准电容储能材料、归纳出电容炭材料的性能要求、电容器研制、确定“第四类”超级电容器)、锂离子电池研究(锂离子电池与可再生燃料电池的对决、双变价元素正极材料、磷酸钴锂正极材料、高功率锂离子电池的制作). 第二部分叙述规模储能电池研究,包括液流电池新体系研究(蓄电与电化学合成的双功能液流电池、全金属化合物单液流电池、有机化合物正极的单液流电池)、致力于振兴铅酸电池(推广铅蓄电池新技术、铅炭电池的研究、铅酸电池新型板栅的研究),储能电池(站)的经济效益计算方法. 第三部分叙述电动汽车发展路线研究,包括氢能燃料电池电动汽车、纯电动汽车与混合动力汽车、对我国电动汽车发展路线的建议、力争电动汽车补贴的合理化、坚守电动汽车“节能减排”宗旨、提出“发电直驱电动车”. 最后的结束语谈了三点感悟.  相似文献

从二维碳材料石墨炔(GDY)的分子和电子结构出发,重点论述石墨炔在能源存储和转换两个领域的应用,包括最新的理论和实验进展。石墨炔独特的三维孔隙结构,使得石墨炔在锂存储和氢气存储应用中具备天然的优势,既可以用作锂离子相关的储能器件,包括锂离子电池、锂离子电容器等;也可作为储氢材料,用于燃料电池等。通过掺杂的方法,还能进一步提高石墨炔储锂和储氢的性能。由于sp炔键和sp2苯环的存在,使石墨炔具有多重共轭的电子结构,在具备狄拉克锥的同时,其带隙也可通过多种途径调控,使得石墨炔不仅可以作为非金属高活性催化剂替代贵金属在光催化等方面应用,还可以在太阳能电池的空穴传输层和电子传输层方面获得应用,展现了石墨炔在能源方面独特的应用价值。我们将从理论预测和实验研究两方面介绍该领域目前的研究现状和发展趋势。  相似文献

Lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries exhibit outstanding energy density and material sustainability. Enormous effects have been devoted to the sulfur cathode to address redox kinetics and polysulfide intermediates shuttle. Recent attentions are gradually turning to the protection of the lithium metal anodes, since electrochemical performances of Li–S batteries are closely linked to the working efficiency of the anode side, especially in pouch cells that adopt stringent test protocols. This Perspective article summarizes critical issues encountered in the lithium metal anode, and outlines possible solutions to achieve efficient working lithium anode in Li–S batteries. The lithium metal anode in Li–S batteries shares the common failure mechanisms of volume fluctuation, nonuniform lithium flux, electrolyte corrosion and lithium pulverization occurring in lithium metal batteries with oxide cathodes, and also experiences unique polysulfide corrosion and massive lithium accumulation. These issues can be partially addressed by developing three-dimensional scaffold, exerting quasi-solid reaction, tailoring native solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) and designing artificial SEI. The practical evaluation of Li–S batteries highlights the importance of pouch cell platform, which is distinguished from coin-type cells in terms of lean electrolyte-to-sulfur ratio, thin lithium foil, as well as sizable total capacity and current that are loaded on pouch cells. This Perspective underlines the development of practically efficient working lithium metal anode in Li–S batteries.  相似文献

Graphene has attracted extensive research interest due to its strictly 2-dimensional (2D) structure, which results in its unique electronic, thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties and potential technical applications. These remarkable characteristics of graphene, along with the inherent benefits of a carbon material, make it a promising candidate for application in electrochemical energy devices. This article reviews the methods of graphene preparation, introduces the unique electrochemical behavior of graphene, and summarizes the recent research and development on graphene-based fuel cells, supercapacitors and lithium ion batteries. In addition, promising areas are identified for the future development of graphene-based materials in electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems.  相似文献

The role of binders is crucial to achieve high performance and long cycle lifes in next-generation electrodes for lithium batteries. Currently used binders in electrode configurations, such as poly(vinylidene difluoride) (PVDF) are inactive polymers that do not transport lithium ions themselves, causing restrictions for high-power applications. Thus, developing innovative binders with an affinity towards lithium mobility is important for both lithium-ion and lithium-air batteries. In this work, we present for the first time the use of PDADMA poly(ionic liquid)s with fluorinated anions (FSI, TFSI, BETI, and CFSO) as cathode binders in Li-ion and Li-air batteries. The high-voltage NMC 532 cathodes with fluorinated PDADMA binders showed improved cells performances as: capacity values, rate performance, and cycling stability in accelerating aging conditions dedicated for more environmental-friendly mobility applications. Especially, PDADMA-CFSO binder in cathodes shows a cell capacity increase of 26% at 5C (12 min charge), when compared to PVDF one. Moreover, the fluorinated PDADMA binders in cathode improve the discharge capacities in Li–O2 cells, both with liquid and solid gel polymer electrolytes. Impressively, the Coulombic efficiency improves by 146% and the cycling capacity by 70% in solid-state Li–O2 cells using PDADMA-CFSO binder in the cathode, instead of common lithiated Nafion. All in all, the proposed fluorinated PDADMA Poly(ionic liquid)s can be a highly competitive alternative to conventional binders used nowadays in Li-ion and Li-air batteries.  相似文献

Polymeric materials are already present in electrochemical storage devices such as batteries and PEM fuel cells. The polymer is an electro-active material in lithium polymer batteries. Several network based polymer electrolytes provide thermal, mechanical and redox stabilities, while insuring a high conductivity level. Linear unsaturated polyether precursors may be obtained either by step-growth polymerization from oligomeric polyethers, or by ring-opening polymerization from oxirane mixtures. Some prototype performances, performed on a 10 Wh lithium polymer cell, are presented and discussed.  相似文献

An efficient preparation of new fluorinated lithium and ammonium sulfonimides, from the corresponding sulfonyl fluorides, is reported. These sulfonyl fluorides are reacted with benzylamine, then triflated. Due to the high leaving ability of fluorinated sulfonimides, the formed N-benzylsulfonimides are simply debenzylated with an alcohol. Finally, the intermediate oxonium sulfonimides are neutralized, in situ, by various bases. The obtained sulfonimides are potential electrolytes for lithium batteries or fuel cells.  相似文献

The activities in progress in our laboratory for the development of batteries and fuel cells for portable electronics and hybrid car applications are reviewed and discussed. In the case of lithium batteries, the research has been mainly focused on the characterization of new electrode and electrolyte materials. Results related to disordered carbon anodes and improved, solvent-free, as well as gel-type, polymer electrolytes are particularly stressed. It is shown that the use of proper gel electrolytes, in combination with suitable electrode couples, allows the development of new types of safe, reliable, and low-cost lithium ion batteries which appear to be very promising power sources for hybrid vehicles. Some of the technologies proven to be successful in the lithium battery area are readapted for use in fuel cells. In particular, this approach has been followed for the preparation of low-cost and stable protonic membranes to be proposed as an alternative to the expensive, perfluorosulfonic membranes presently used in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs).  相似文献

The current importance of energy production from renewable sources stimulated interest in energy storage systems. Recent research has focused on developing vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFB) for large scale energy storage owing to their cost-effectiveness, flexible design, energy efficiency and long cycle life. Nafion the preferred membrane in VRFB systems has an overall cost of more than 11% in these systems. However, due to its drawbacks of high permeability and high cost limit its suitability for commercial use. Many researchers are therefore keen to develop new chemical designs for synthetic membranes, such as perfluorinated, partially fluorinated, hydrocarbon based and organic-inorganic composite membrane. The sol-gel process, which is mainly based on hydrolysis and condensation reaction offers the possibility of homogeneous preparation of membranes, leading to high proton conductivity and reduced vanadium ion permeability, thereby greatly increasing the cell efficiency. This review summarizes recent development in the synthesis and applications of sol-gel based proton exchange membranes for VRFB system, on which many researchers have been working in recent years. We also discuss critical research areas and the future development of cost-effective sol-gel based membranes for attractive energy storage systems.  相似文献

Lithium metal batteries have achieved large-scale application, but still have limitations such as poor safety performance and high cost, and limited lithium resources limit the production of lithium batteries. The construction of these devices is also hampered by limited lithium supplies. Therefore, it is particularly important to find alternative metals for lithium replacement. Sodium has the properties of rich in content, low cost and ability to provide high voltage, which makes it an ideal substitute for lithium. Sulfur-based materials have attributes of high energy density, high theoretical specific capacity and are easily oxidized. They may be used as cathodes matched with sodium anodes to form a sodium-sulfur battery. Traditional sodium-sulfur batteries are used at a temperature of about 300 °C. In order to solve problems associated with flammability, explosiveness and energy loss caused by high-temperature use conditions, most research is now focused on the development of room temperature sodium-sulfur batteries. Regardless of safety performance or energy storage performance, room temperature sodium-sulfur batteries have great potential as next-generation secondary batteries. This article summarizes the working principle and existing problems for room temperature sodium-sulfur battery, and summarizes the methods necessary to solve key scientific problems to improve the comprehensive energy storage performance of sodium-sulfur battery from four aspects: cathode, anode, electrolyte and separator.  相似文献

锂金属是下一代高能量密度二次电池的理想负极材料,然而它的应用仍然受制于较差的循环稳定性。近期,二维氟化界面被广泛用于改善锂金属负极的成核机制、沉积形貌和循环稳定性。本工作通过将体积缩小化的氟化石墨颗粒与锂离子传导网络结合,获得了一种富氟化位点的三维框架结构。实验结果证明此类三维氟化结构可显著提升锂金属负极在不同电流密度和容量下的循环稳定性,且优于二维氟化界面结构。通过本工作的研究,证明了相较于单纯的二维氟化界面,三维锂离子传导网络和富氟化位点的合理结合可以成为一种改进的界面结构用于锂金属负极保护,为高能量密度锂金属电池的负极保护提供了新的设计思路。  相似文献

The frustration in super-ionic conductors enables their exceptionally high ionic conductivities, which are desired for many technological applications including batteries and fuel cells. A key challenge in the study of frustration is the difficulties in analyzing a large number of disordered atomistic configurations. Using lithium super-ionic conductors as model systems, we propose and demonstrate the density of atomistic states (DOAS) analytics to quantitatively characterize the onset and degree of disordering, reveal the energetics of local disorder, and elucidate how the frustration enhances diffusion through the broadening and overlapping of the energy levels of atomistic states. Furthermore, material design strategies aided by the DOAS are devised and demonstrated for new super-ionic conductors. The DOAS is generally applicable analytics for unraveling fundamental mechanisms in complex atomistic systems and guiding material design.  相似文献

锂离子电池在便携式储能器件及电动汽车领域得到了广泛应用,然而频繁发生的电池起火爆炸事故,使热失控和热安全问题备受人们关注,目前已有多篇综述报道了缓解锂离子电池热失控的措施。相比于已经接近理论比能极限的锂离子电池,金属锂负极具有更高的比容量、更低的电势和高反应活性,但是不可控的锂枝晶生长,使得金属锂电池的热失控问题更为复杂和严重。针对金属锂电池的热失控问题,本文首先介绍了热失控的诱因及基本过程和阶段,其次从材料层面综述了提高电池热安全性的多种策略,包括使用阻燃性电解质、离子液体电解质、高浓电解质和局域高浓电解质等不易燃液态电解质体系,开发高热稳定性隔膜、热响应隔膜、阻燃性隔膜和具有枝晶检测预警与枝晶消除功能的新型智能隔膜,以及研究热响应聚合物电解质,最后对金属锂电池热失控在未来的进一步研究进行了展望。  相似文献

Recently, new materials and chemistry for lithium ion batteries have been developed. There is a great emphasis on electrification in the transport sector replacing part of motor powered engines with battery powered applications. There are plans both to increase energy efficiency and to reduce the overall need for consumption of non-renewable liquid fuels. Even more significant applications are dependent on energy storage. Materials needed for battery applications require specially made high quality products.Diminishing amounts of easily minable metal ores increase the consumption of separation and purification energy and chemicals. The metals are likely to be increasingly difficult to process. Iron, manganese, lead, zinc, lithium, aluminium, and nickel are still relatively abundant but many metals like cobalt and rare earths are becoming limited resources more rapidly.The global capacity of industrial-scale production of larger lithium ion battery cells may become a limiting factor in the near future if plans for even partial electrification of vehicles or energy storage visions are realized. The energy capacity needed is huge and one has to be reminded that in terms of cars for example production of 100 MWh equals the need of 3000 full-electric cars. Consequently annual production capacity of 106 cars requires 100 factories each with a 300 MWh capacity. Present day lithium ion batteries have limitations but significant improvements have been achieved recently [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8]. The main challenges of lithium ion batteries are related to material deterioration, operating temperatures, energy and power output, and lifetime. Increased lifetime combined with a higher recycling rate of battery materials is essential for a sustainable battery industry.  相似文献

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs) have received profound attention in recent years owing to their tailor-made porosity, large surface area and robust stability. More specifically, 2D COFs with redox-active and π electron-rich units allow efficient charge carriers hopping and ion migration, thus offering great potentials in energy storage. Herein, we present a systematic and concise overview of the recent advances in 2D COFs related to the electrochemical energy field, including supercapacitors, fuel cells, rechargeable lithium batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, and other metal-ion batteries. In addition, a brief outlook is proposed on the challenges and prospects of COFs as electrode materials for energy storage.  相似文献
