In this paper, we are concerned with the global existence of smooth solutions for the one dimen- sional relativistic Euler-Poisson equations: Combining certain physical background, the relativistic Euler-Poisson model is derived mathematically. By using an invariant of Lax's method, we will give a sufficient condition for the existence of a global smooth solution to the one-dimensional Euler-Poisson equations with repulsive force.  相似文献

The one-dimensional transient quantum Euler-Poisson system for semiconductors is studied in a bounded interval. The quantum correction can be interpreted as a dispersive regularization of the classical hydrodynamic equations and mechanical effects. The existence and uniqueness of local-in-time solutions are proved with lower regularity and without the restriction on the smallness of velocity, where the pressure-density is general (can be non-convex or non-monotone).  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a multidimensional nonisentropic hydrodynamic (Euler-Poisson) model for semiconductors. We study the convergence of the nonisentropic Euler-Poisson equation to the incompressible nonisentropic Euler type equation via the quasi-neutral limit. The local existence of smooth solutions to the limit equations is proved by an iterative scheme. The method of asymptotic expansion and energy methods are used to rigorously justify the convergence of the limit.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the stationary flow for a one-dimensional isentropic bipolar Euler-Poisson system (hydrodynamic model) for semiconductor devices. This model consists of the continuous equations for the electron and hole densities, and their current densities, coupled the Poisson equation of the electrostatic potential. In a bounded interval supplemented by the proper boundary conditions, we first show the unique existence of stationary solutions of the one-dimensional isentropic hydrodynamic model, based on the Schauder fixed-point principle and the careful energy estimates. Next, we investigate the zero-electron-mass limit, combined zero-electron mass and zero-hole mass limit, the zero-relaxation-time limit and the Debye-length (quasi-neutral) limit, respectively. We also show the strong convergence of the sequence of solutions and give the associated convergence rates.  相似文献

Consider the system of Euler-Poisson as a model for the time evolution of gaseous stars through the self-induced gravitational force. We study the existence, uniqueness and multiplicity of stationary solutions for some velocity fields and entropy function that solve the conservation of mass and energy a priori. These results generalize the previous works on the irrotational or the rotational gaseous stars around an axis, and then they hold in more general physical settings. Under the assumption of radial symmetry, the monotonicity properties of the radius of the gas with respect to either the strength of the velocity field or the center density are also given which yield the uniqueness under some circumstances.  相似文献

We study the stabilities and classical solutions of Euler-Poisson equations describing the evolution of the gaseous star in astrophysics. In fact, we extend the study of the stabilities of Euler-Poisson equations with or without frictional damping term to some special dimensional spaces. Besides, by using the second inertia function in 2 dimension of Euler-Poisson equations, we prove the non-global existence of classical solutions with , for any γ.  相似文献

The motion of the self‐gravitational gaseous stars can be described by the Euler–Poisson equations. For some velocity fields and entropy functions that solve the conservation of mass and energy, we consider the existence of stationary solutions of Euler–Poisson equations. Under various restriction to the strength of velocity field, different assumptions on the isentropic function and adiabatic exponent, we get the existence, multiplicity and uniqueness of the stationary solutions to the Euler–Poisson system, respectively. In this paper, the uniqueness of stationary solutions with vacuum of Euler-Poisson equations is considered. Through a nonlineax transformation which is a functionof density and entropy the corresponding problem can be reduced to a semilinear ellipticequation with a nonlinear source term consisting of a power function, for which the classical  相似文献

This paper is concerned with an analysis of the Euler-Poisson model for unipolar semiconductor devices in the steady state isentropic case. In the two-dimensional case we prove the existence of smooth solutions under a smallness assumption on the prescribed outflow velocity (small boundary current) and, additionally, under a smallness assumption on the gradient of the velocity relaxation time. The latter assumption allows a control of the vorticity of the flow and the former guarantees subsonic flow. The main ingredient of the proof is a regularization of the equation for the vorticity. Also, in the irrotational two- and three-dimensional cases we show that the smallness assumption on the outflow velocity can be replaced by a smallness assumption on the (physical) parameter multiplying the drift-term in the velocity equation. Moreover, we show that solutions of the Euler-Poisson system converge to a solution of the drift-diffusion model as this parameter tends to zero.  相似文献

We are concerned with the mathematical analysis of the relativistic Euler-Poisson equations in one dimensional case. The existence and uniqueness of the related smooth steady state solutions are proved. The non-relativistic limit and zero-relaxation limit of the model as well as their convergence rates are also obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, the convergence of time-dependent Euler-Maxwell equations to compressible Euler-Poisson equations in a torus via the non-relativistic limit is studied. The local existence of smooth solutions to both systems is proved by using energy esti- mates for first order symmetrizable hyperbolic systems. For well prepared initial data the convergence of solutions is rigorously justified by an analysis of asymptotic expansions up to any order. The authors perform also an initial layer analysis for general initial data and prove the convergence of asymptotic expansions up to first order.  相似文献

We consider a special case of the Euler-Poisson system of equations, describing the motion of a rigid body around a fixed point. We find 44 sets of stationary solutions near which the system is locally integrable. Ten of them are real. We also study the number of these complex stationary solutions in 3-dimensional invariant manifolds of the system. We find that the number is 4, 2, 1, or 0. __________ Translated from Fundamentalnaya i Prikladnaya Matematika, Vol. 13, No. 1, pp. 45–59, 2007.  相似文献

We study the quasi-neutral limit in one-dimensional steady-state Euler-Poisson equations with junction layers. Typically, the junction layer phenomenon occurs in a ballistic diode of a semiconductor device where the doping profile is a discontinuous function. We derive the junction layer equations and prove the existence of their solutions which decay exponentially. Finally, we justify the quasi-neutral limit with junction layers by giving uniform error estimates.  相似文献

Paper is devoted to the solvability analysis of variational equations obtained by linearization of the Euler-Poisson equations for the symmetric rigid body with a fixed point on the equatorial plain. In this case Euler-Poisson equations have two pendulum like particular solutions. Symmetric heavy top is integrable only in four famous cases. In this paper is shown that a family of cases can be distinguished such that Euler-Poisson equations are not integrable but variational equations along particular solutions are solvable. The connection of this result with analysis made in XIX century by R. Liouville is also discussed.  相似文献

We consider the exponential stability of stochastic evolution equations with Lipschitz continuous non-linearities when zero is not a solution for these equations. We prove the existence of a non-trivial stationary solution which is exponentially stable, where the stationary solution is generated by the composition of a random variable and the Wiener shift. We also construct stationary solutions with the stronger property of attracting bounded sets uniformly. The existence of these stationary solutions follows from the theory of random dynamical systems and their attractors. In addition, we prove some perturbation results and formulate conditions for the existence of stationary solutions for semilinear stochastic partial differential equations with Lipschitz continuous non-linearities.  相似文献

In this paper, a one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system(a hydrodynamic model) from semiconductors or plasmas with boundary efects is considered. This system takes the form of Euler-Poisson with an electric field and frictional damping added to the momentum equations. The large-time behavior of uniformly bounded weak solutions to the initial-boundary value problem for the one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system is firstly presented. Next, two particle densities and the corresponding current momenta are verified to satisfy the porous medium equation and the classical Darcy’s law time asymptotically. Finally, as a by-product, the quasineutral limit of the weak solutions to the initial-boundary value problem is investigated in the sense that the bounded L∞entropy solution to the one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system converges to that of the corresponding one-dimensional compressible Euler equations with damping exponentially fast as t → +∞. As far as we know, this is the first result about the asymptotic behavior and the quasineutral limit for the one-dimensional bipolar Euler-Poisson system with boundary efects and a vacuum.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the quasi-neutral limit of compressible Euler-Poisson equations in plasma physics in the torus Td. For well prepared initial data the convergence of solutions of compressible Euler-Poisson equations to the solutions of incompressible Euler equations is justified rigorously by an elaborate energy methods based on studies on an λ-weighted Lyapunov-type functional. One main ingredient of establishing uniformly a priori estimates with respect to λ is to use the curl-div decomposition of the gradient.  相似文献
