Infinitely many homoclinic solutions for a class of damped vibration problems

In this paper, we deal with the existence of infinitely many homoclinic solutions for the damped vibration problems where A is an antisymmetry N × N constant matrix, we establish some new existence results to guarantee that the above system has infinitely many homoclinic solutions under more relaxed assumptions on W(t,x), which satisfies a kind of new subquadratic condition by using fountain theorem. Fucik spectrum, sign-changing and multiple solutions for semilinear elliptic boundary value problems with jumping nonlinearities at zero and infinity

In this paper, Fucik spectrum, ordinary differential equation theory of Banach spaces and Morse theory are used to study semilinear elliptic boundary value problems with jumping nonlinearities at zero or infinity, and some new results on the existence of nontrivial solutions, multiple solutions and sign-changing solutions are obtained. In one case seven nontrivial solutions are got. The techniques have independent interest.     

Fast homoclinic solutions for a class of damped vibration problems with subquadratic potentials

In this paper, we deal with the existence and multiplicity of homoclinic solutions of the following damped vibration problems where L(t) and W(t, x) are neither autonomous nor periodic in t. Our approach is variational and it is based on the critical point theory. We prove existence and multiplicity results of fast homoclinic solutions under general growth conditions on the potential function. Our theorems appear to be the first such result and our results extend some recent works.     

Existence and Liouville-type theorems for some indefinite quasilinear elliptic problems with potentials vanishing at infinity

We study the existence versus absence of nontrivial weak solutions for a class of indefinite quasilinear elliptic problems on unbounded domains with noncompact boundary, in the presence of competing lower order nonlinearities with potentials decaying to zero at infinity.     

Regularity results for evolutionary nonlinear variational and quasi-variational inequalities with applications to dynamic equilibrium problems

The aim of this paper is to obtain the continuity of solutions to time-dependent nonlinear variational and quasi-variational inequalities which express many dynamic equilibrium problems. To prove our results, we make use of Minty’s Lemma and of the notion of the Mosco’s convergence.
