In this paper, the reproducing kernel Hilbert space method (RKHSM) is applied to neutral functional–differential equations with proportional delays. Its approximate solution is obtained by truncating the n‐term of exact solution. Some examples are displayed to demonstrate the computation efficiency of the method. We also compare the performance of the method with a particular Runge–Kutta method, a one‐leg θ‐method and variational iteration method. Experiment dates indicate that the RKHSM is an accurate and efficient method to solve neutral functional–differential equations with proportional delays. In this note we propose a method for the integration of y'(t) = f(t, y(t), y(rt)), 0 t tf y(0) = y0, where 0 < r < 1, by a superconvengent s-stage continuousRK method of discrete global order p and continuous uniformorder q < p – 1 for the approximation of the delayedterm y(rt). We prove that, although the maximum attainable orderof the method on an arbitrary mesh is q' = min{p, q + 1}, byusing a quasi-geometric mesh, introduced by Bellen et al. (1997,Appl. Numer. The paper discusses both pth moment and almost sure exponential stability of solutions to neutral stochastic functional differential equations and neutral stochastic differential delay equations, by using the Razumikhin-type technique. The main goal is to find sufficient stability conditions that could be verified more easily then by using the usual method with Lyapunov functionals. The analysis is based on paper [X. Mao, Razumikhin-type theorems on exponential stability of neutral stochastic functional differential equations, SIAM J. Math. Anal. 28 (2) (1997) 389-401], referring to mean square and almost sure exponential stability.  相似文献

In this paper, the global exponential stability and asymptotic stability of retarded functional differential equations with multiple time-varying delays are studied by employing several Lyapunov functionals. A number of sufficient conditions for these types of stability are presented. Our results show that these conditions are milder and more general than previously known criteria, and can be applied to neural networks with a broad range of activation functions assuming neither differentiability nor strict monotonicity. Furthermore, the results obtained for neural networks with time-varying delays do not assume symmetry of the connection matrix.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with interval general bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with proportional delays. Using appropriate nonlinear variable transformations, the interval general BAM neural networks with proportional delays can be equivalently transformed into the interval general BAM neural networks with constant delays. The sufficient condition for the existence and uniqueness of equilibrium point of the model is established by applying Brouwer's fixed point theorem. By constructing suitable delay differential inequalities, some sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of the model are obtained. This paper considers the impulsive functional differential equations with infinite delays or finite delays. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the global exponential stability by employing the improved Razumikhin technique and Lyapunov functions. The result extends and improves some recent works. Moreover, the obtained Razumikhin condition is very simple and effective to implement in real problems and it is helpful to investigate the stability of delayed neural networks and synchronization problems of chaotic systems under impulsive perturbation. Finally, a numerical example and its simulation is given to show the effectiveness of the obtained result in this paper.  相似文献
