It is well known that the Walsh-Fourier expansion of a function from the-block space (?)([0,1)), 1< q≤∞, converges pointwise a. e. We prove that the same result is true for the expansion of a function from (?) in certain periodized smooth periodic non-stationary wavelet packets bases based on the Haar filters. We also consider wavelet packets based on the Shannon filters and show that the expansion of Lp-functions, 1< p<∞. converges in norm and pointwise almost everywhere.  相似文献

The composite trapezoidal rule for the computation of Hadamard finite-part integrals in boundary element methods with the hypersingular kernel 1/sin 2(x-s) is discussed,and the main part of the asymptotic expansion of error function is obtained.Based on the main part of the asymptotic expansion,a series is constructed to approach the singular point.An extrapolation algorithm is presented and the convergence rate is proved.Some numerical results are also presented to confirm the theoretical results and show the efficiency of the algorithms.  相似文献

A class of semi-linear Robin problem is considered. Under appropriate assumptions, the existence and asymptotic behavior of its solution are studied more carefully. Using stretched variables, the formal asymptotic expansion of solution for the problem is constructed and the uniform validity of the solution is obtained by using the method of upper and lower solution.  相似文献

A two-dimensional nonlinear shell model “of Koiter‘s type“ has recently been proposed by the first author. It is shown here that, according to two mutually exclusive sets of assumptions bearing on the associated manifold of admissible inextensional displacements, the leading term of a formal asymptotic expansion of the solution of this two-dimensional model, with the thickness as the “small“ parameter, satisfies either the two-dimensional equations of a nonlinearly elastic “membrane“ shell or those of a nonlinearly elastic “flexural“ shell.These conclusions being identical to those recently drawn by B. Miara, then by V. Lods and B. Miara, for the leading term of a formal asymptotic expansion of the solution of the equations of three-dimensional nonlinear elasticity, again with the thickness as the “small“ parameter, the nonlinear shell model of Koiter‘s type considered here is thus justified, at least formally.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the spectral properties of the Population operator, prove that the population operator has only one real eigenvalue γ_0, which is greater that real parts of other eigenvalues,and find the corresponding relation between γ_0 and the critical fertility rate β_(cr). We also study the existence and asymptotic behaviour of the semigroup for the population system, then come to the conclusion about the stability of the population system,including the existene of the steaby population state in the critical case of the fertility rate.These are all the new results of the quantitative population theory.  相似文献

In the present paper, we introduce Szasz-Durrmeyer-Bezier operators M.,.(f,x) , which generalize the Szasz-Durrmeyer operators. Here we obtain an estimate on the rate of convergence of Mn,a(f,x) for functions of bounded variation. Our result extends and improves that of Sahai and Prasad and Gupta and Pant.  相似文献
