A method to reduce the number of captures needed in phase-shifting interferometry is proposed on the basis of grating interferometry and modulation of linear polarization. The case of four interferograms is considered. A common-path interferometer is used with two windows in the object plane and a Ronchi grating as the pupil, thus forming several replicated images of each window over the image plane. The replicated images, under proper matching conditions, superpose in such a way so that they produce interference patterns. Orders 0 and +1 and −1 and 0 form useful patterns to extract the optical phase differences associated to the windows. A phase of π is introduced between these orders using linear polarizing filters placed in the windows and also in the replicated windows, so two π-shifted patterns can be captured in one shot. An unknown translation is then applied to the grating in order to produce another shift in the each pattern. A second and final shot captures these last patterns. The actual grating displacement and the phase shift can be determined according to the method proposed by Kreis before applying proper phase-shifting techniques to finally calculate the phase difference distribution between windows. Related simulations and experimental results are given.  相似文献

The speckles of the image plane of an object are both radially shifted and decorrelated when the object is axially translated through an amount ?. We demonstrate that this radial shift, which is related to the position of the pupil of the optical system, disappears when the pupil lies in the back focal plane of the imaging lens. However, if the irradiance of the image plane is twice recorded on a photographic plate which is laterally shifted through ζH between the exposures, the minimum value of the contrast of the Fourier fringes exhibited by the plate after processing, gives the value of ? if ? is less than a particular value, ?M which will be defined. Also we propose a new speckle measurement method in which the fringes are automatically removed when ? is greater than ?M. We record the image of the object illuminated in convergent light through an amplitude diffuser placed in the Fourier plane of the object. The mean speckle speckle size of the diffuser is equal to the mean size of the speckles generated by the object in its Fourier plane.  相似文献

A phase-contrast volume holographic imaging system for three-dimensional contrast enhancement is presented. The system utilizes a spatial filter placed on a conjugate plane to the volume holographic pupil to simultaneously enhance weak phase information at different depths within an object. The proposed system was validated with experimental image data obtained in mouse colon samples and quantitative measurements of modulation transfer function as well.  相似文献

The linear Hilbert phase mask or transform has found applications in image processing and spectroscopy. An optical version of the fractional Hilbert mask is considered here, comprising an imaging system with a circular, unobscured pupil in which a variable phase delay is introduced into one half of the pupil, split bilaterally.The radial Hilbert phase mask is also used in image processing and to produce optical vortices which have applications in optical tweezers and the detection of exoplanets.We subjected the fractional and radial Hilbert phase masks to Zernike function expansion in order to compute the image plane electromagnetic field distribution using Nijboer-Zernike theory. The Zernike functions form an orthogonal basis on the unit circle. The complex-valued Zernike expansion coefficients for these two phase masks were derived for use in the context of the Extended Nijboer-Zernike (ENZ) theory of image formation. The ENZ approach is of interest in that it allows a greater range of defocus to be dealt with, provides a simple means of taking a finite source size into account and has been adapted to high Numerical Aperture (NA) imaging applications.Our image plane results for the fractional Hilbert mask were verified against a numerical model implemented in the commercial optical design and analysis code, Zemax®. It was found that the Nijboer-Zernike result converged to the Zemax® result from below as the number of Zernike terms in the expansion was increased.  相似文献

A conjugate image plane correlator with holographic disk memory is proposed. Optical correlation between conjugate images reconstructed from a holographic disk and an input image on liquid-crystal television is executed with the rotation of the disk. Regardless of Fourier hologram recording with the pseudorandom diffuser, it is found possible to take out the diffuser from the original hologram recording scheme using an image reconstruction process and to get correlation signals between input and reconstructed conjugate images in the output plane of a two-lens imaging system. Generation of conjugate replicas with high contrast causes exact matching with an input image which results in high recognition performance for autocorrelation signals. The transfer function of an optical system can be controlled by adjustment of either hologram size or hologram area illuminated with a laser beam. Hence, the output intensity distribution can be adjusted by selecting a proper pupil function and the size of an output pupil defined by the input pupil size and the optical system magnification factor. The real-time character recognition by optical parallel high-speed processing for two dimensional images with position normalization is demonstrated.  相似文献

微焦点X射线源相衬成像是利用微焦点X射线源透过样品后携带的相位信息对样品内部结构成像. 通过获取相面上的强度信息利用相位复原方法可以得到物体内部的相位信息. 获取了不同放大倍数下的蚂蚁图像, 通过强度传播方程(Transport of Intensity Equation, TIE)方法得到了蚂蚁的相衬图像, 采用 边缘可见度(Edge Visibility)方法和熵法比较了不同放大倍数下的成像效果以及复原前后图像质量.  相似文献

通过在光学系统的光阑面上加入一个非球面相位板,使得光学系统的成像对离焦不敏感.但当入射视场角较大时,图像的边缘发生变形且难以恢复.针对此问题,提出了两种解决方案,方案一是把相位板移至光路中光线较为平缓的区域,但不是系统的光阑位置;方案二是保持相位板位置不变,优化整个光学系统,使相位板前的光线能够平缓地入射到相位板.实验中对一个EFL=12.5 mm,F/#=1.3,半视场角为13.5°的波前编码实际系统进行仿真比较,得出方案二可以有效地消除波前编码相位板引入的视场效应.  相似文献

为了简化数字全息超分辨记录系统,分别在其物光和参考光部分引入一块相位模板,以获得垂直和倾斜方向照明物体的光束和具有不同载波频率的参考光束.当这些具有不同照射方向的光透过物体后,可以使CCD在位置固定的情况下记录到携带低频和高频信息的物体衍射场,不同载波频率的参考光则保证了高频和低频信息在复合全息图的频谱面上能够相互分离.实验结果证明,通过将记录到的物体高频和低频信息合成,可以获得超出系统衍射极限分辨率的再现像.  相似文献

The process of interference-pattern image formation in an optical system with a random phase screen in the space-frequency plane is analyzed. It is shown that an optical system of this kind can function, under certain conditions, as a shearing interferometer, which determines the dependence of contrast of the average intensity fringes in the interference pattern image on the normalized correlation function of the random phase screen complex transmittance. The dependence of the fringe contrast on the pattern period and aperture of the field of view is established, as well as dependence of the optical transfer function of the system under study on spatial coherence of the light in the pupil of the system with the random phase screen.  相似文献

Statistical properties of the time-averaged speckle-reduced pattern at the image plane of a coherently illuminated uniform diffuse object are theoretically and experimentally studied. The diffuse object is assumed to be approximated by a deep random phase screen and zero-mean circular complex Gaussian statistics is also assumed to hold for the formation of speckles. The time-averaging process is performed by using a rotating aperture at the Fourier transform plane of the object. A theoretical study of the speckle reduction is conducted for a rotating Gaussian soft aperture at the Fourier transform plane. Expressions are analytically derived for the mean, autocorrelation function, power spectrum, and contrast of the time-averaged speckle pattern at the image plane. In particular, the contrast of the time-averaged speckle pattern is theoretically evaluated and its characteristics are discussed in detail. The theoretical results for the contrast are experimentally confirmed using a TV/film recording system. Excellent agreement between theoretical and experimental results is obtained.  相似文献

Most papers in the field of optical phase retrieval either consider only the intensity (or amplitude) profile of the object under inspection (or scatterer location in the X-ray version), or a uniform tilt/rotation of the object beam. However, phase retrieval is able to recover the phase profile of the object (beam) as well, which theoretically makes the observable interference of phase retrieved object waves possible. In this paper we demonstrate this principle experimentally on centimeter sized deformable reflective objects (as large as 40 mm by 40 mm) and corresponding simulations are also presented. When the CCD camera is moved along the optical axis in the Fresnel region, the interference fringes of the displacement field have low contrast. On the other hand, when an imaging setup is built, and the camera moves near the image plane, high fringe contrast can be obtained. These fringes however suffer from some phase error. In our work the iterative modulus projection algorithm was used as a simply implementable phase retrieval method.  相似文献

Resolution capability of any optical imaging system is limited by residual aberrations as well as diffraction effects. Overcoming this fundamental limit is called super-resolution. Several new paradigms for super-resolution in optical systems use ‘a posteriori’ digital image processing. In these ventures the three-dimensional point spread function (PSF) of the lens plays a key role in image acquisition. A straightforward tailoring of the PSF can be performed by appropriate pupil plane filtering. With a brief review of the state-of-art in this research area, this paper dwells upon the inverse problem of global optimization of the pupil function by phase filtering in accordance with the desired PSF.  相似文献

Based on the propagation X ray phase contrast imaging theory, a spatial domain constraint iterative phase retrieval method is described in detail. This algorithm limits the object spatial domain according to the actual sample size firstly, and modify the image plane data with the actual test data, then the iteration can be terminated until iteration precision or the number of iterations meet the preset requirements. Finally the numerical simulation is made to evaluate the rapid phase retrieval algorithm performance, and a real column fiber material experiment is carried out using a micro focus X ray phase contrast imaging experiment platform, the phase distribution image of the column fiber is calculated out by this algorithm. The results show that this phase retrieval algorithm is effective, and the method has a potential stability and accuracy for X ray phase contrast imaging technology.  相似文献

利用平面角谱理论,建立厄米-高斯光束和拉盖尔-高斯光束在负折射率平板透镜系统中的傍轴传输模型,研究负折射率平板透镜中厄米-高斯光束和拉盖尔-高斯光束强度聚焦及相位补偿特性。结果发现:负折射率平板透镜产生的反向Gouy相移可以补偿空气中Gouy相移导致的相差,因而在满足相位匹配条件下,光束在物平面和像平面之间的相差为零;当强度聚焦和相位匹配条件同时满足的条件下,光束在物平面强度和相位分布可在像平面实现完全重构。  相似文献

提出一种将物光波前先分解记录,再合成的二步平板周视彩虹全息术。波前的分解记录与合成彩虹全息图是分别通过转动物体和干板来实现的。记录这种周视全息图,不需要大孔径和其它特殊光学元件,即可获得周视半径大的无象差立体再现象。该方法可直接用于模压全息图母板的制作。  相似文献

A quantified focal plane testing method, termed phase-shifting grating-slit test, is demonstrated by utilizing a micro liquid crystal display. In contrast to the setup in the Ronchi Test, an incoherent illuminating grating is used and an optical slit is located at the image plane of the tested lens to modulate the aberrated wavefront. With the micro liquid crystal display generating and phase shifting the incoherent illuminating grating with variable frequency, a higher measurement dynamic range can be achieved on demand.  相似文献

The present paper analyses the factors affecting the quality of the moiré fringes for an arbitrary displacement and deformation of the object surface. Methods for the generation of auxiliary fringes are considered and their localisation is investigated.
