Prediction of intake noise of an automotive engine in run-up condition   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
It is very important to predict the radiated noise from the engine intake system for the effective noise control and virtual prototyping of in-cavity and outdoor noise of a vehicle. To this end, one should precisely measure the in-duct acoustic source parameters of the intake system, viz., source strength and source impedance. Usually, the noise radiation characteristics need to be expressed as a function of engine speed. In this study, acoustic source parameters of an engine intake system under engine run-up condition were measured by using the direct method. Direct method employed two external loudspeakers, turned on simultaneously, and three microphones for the separation of upstream and downstream wave components. It was noted that the frequency spectra of source impedance hardly changes with the increase of engine speed. Utilizing this fact, source strength under the engine run-up condition was calculated by assuming invariant source impedance. Predicted insertion loss and radiated sound pressure level using the measured source parameters were compared with those of measured data and predicted data using several idealized source models, which have been adopted for the calculations. A reasonably good agreement was observed between measured sound spectra at the intake orifice and predicted one using the measured source data. It was shown that the source data obtained by the present method yielded a far better prediction accuracy than those by the idealized source models.  相似文献

Surface roughness is one of the most important attributes of paper and its measurement is normally used in quality control applications. Currently, measurement of surface roughness is done by using air leakage, optical, or subjective methods. In this article, an acoustical method for the determination of surface roughness of papers is described. The method is applied off-line and uses the friction noise recorded when a small brush slide over the surface of the paper. The analysis is done consider the friction noise ranging from 300 Hz to 10 kHz. Considering that friction noise is associated to surface roughness, a signal analysis algorithm was developed to take advantage of this fact. The algorithm consists of a frequency-domain feature extraction routine and an artificial neural network that represents the variation of the spectral features in a roughness scale. The results show that an affordable and efficient friction noise based system can be used for measuring surface roughness of tissue papers and other soft surfaces as an alternative to other methods.  相似文献

在民用飞机噪声适航合格审定试验中,传声器布置在地面上1.2 m处,测得的噪声包含地面影响。该文提出了一种分析地面对民机噪声适航合格审定试验中有效感觉噪声级影响的方法,并以ARJ21-700飞机噪声适航合格审定试验为例,对地面对飞越噪声的影响进行了计算和分析。在对飞行试验中飞机自由场声压级理论计算方法进行分析的基础上,通过飞越噪声测量点处布置的倒置传声器装置测量结果,计算了该测量点处的自由场声压级。随后,对满足"CCAR-36部"的不同地面声阻抗对噪声的影响进行了计算,分析了地面条件对噪声适航合格审定中有效感觉噪声级的影响。结果表明,地面声阻抗对噪声适航合格审定结果有明显影响,该方法可以为民用飞机噪声适航合格审定试验提供一种分析测量点地面的声学处理对噪声评定结果影响的手段。  相似文献

Road roughness plays an important role in the generation of tire vibration noise. However, it is unclear which kinds of road roughness parameters should be controlled to reduce the noise. In this paper, we define the essential road roughness parameters that govern tire tread vibration and provide information on tire/road noise abatement. The detailed effects of road roughness parameters on tire tread vibration are estimated using a tire/road contact model. The results reveal that pavement asperity height itself is not an essential parameter, but asperity height unevenness, asperity radius, and asperity spacing are important for the abatement of tire vibration noise.  相似文献

Averaged data for sound levels due to aircraft engine testing out to a distance of 3 km obtained under low wind speed conditions are presented. Predictions of standard analytical approximations are compared with these averaged data. The measured average sound levels are shown to be consistent with the predicted influence of ground effect including impedance discontinuities. Studies dedicated to the determination of acoustic characteristics of an automotive cooling package are presented. A shrouded subsonic axial fan is mounted in a wall separating an anechoic- and a reverberation room. This enables a unique separation of the up- and downstream sound fields. Microphone measurements were acquired of the radiated sound as a function of rotational speed, fan type and components included in the cooling module. The aim of the present work is to investigate the effect of a closely mounted radiator upstream of the impeller on the SPL spectral distribution. Upon examination of the SPL spectral shape, features linked specifically to the source and system are revealed. The properties of a reverberant sound field combined with the method of spectral decomposition permit an estimation of the source spectral distribution and the acoustic transfer response, respectively. Additionally, purely intrinsic acoustic properties of the radiator are scrutinized by standardized ISO methods. A new methodology comprising a dipole sound source is adopted to circumvent limitation of transmission loss measurement in the low frequency range. The sound attenuation caused by the radiator alone was found to be negligible.  相似文献

Industrially unfavorable process of steel surface decarburization was induced by annealing in air. Two methods of after-anneal surface treatment were used: an acid pickling and a sand blasting. The obtained decarburized layers were examined by optical microscope, wave dispersive spectrometer, and surface X-ray diffraction method. Magnetic Barkhausen noise technique was tested for applicability of non-destructive characterization of the decarburized layer depth. A newly introduced parameter, Barkhausen noise coercivity, was proposed for practical use due to its sensitivity to decarburization and stability to measurement conditions. Other magnetic parameters, e.g. number of Barkhausen noise counts, were found to be sensitive to the compressive residual stress caused by the sand blasting.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel acoustical barrier based on the principle of the Helmholtz resonator is proposed for the mitigation of tonal noises and its in situ performance has been assessed in comparison with a reflecting barrier and an absorbent barrier. For a lightly damped thin-walled reflecting barrier, the energy transmitted through the barrier structure is comparable with that diffracted over the edges. The absorption treatment not only absorbs acoustical energy but also damps the barrier structure resulting in a negligible energy transmission. The results demonstrated that for tonal noises the proposed barrier is more effective than reflecting and absorbent barriers.  相似文献

目前研究准弹道输运纳米MOSFET散粒噪声的抑制时, 采取了完全不考虑其抑制, 或只强调抑制的存在而并未给出抑制公式的方式进行研究. 本文基于Navid模型推导了准弹道输运纳米MOSFET散粒噪声, 并得到了其在费米作用、库仑作用和二者共同作用三种情形下的抑制因子. 在此基础上, 对各抑制因子随源漏电压、栅极电压、温度及源漏掺杂浓度的变化特性进行了研究. 两者共同作用的抑制因子随源漏电压和栅极电压变化特性与文献中给出的实验结论相符合, 从而对实验上得到两者共同作用下的抑制因子随源漏电压和栅极电压的变化特性给出了理论解释.  相似文献

Digital speckle images are photographed for different aluminum rough surfaces using a CCD camera. The obtained speckle images are fed to a PC and analyzed making use of the MATLAB program. The computerized binary images are investigated. The signal-to-noise ratio is computed from these numerical images. It is shown that the surface roughness of the examined surfaces is dependent upon the degree of agglomeration of the speckle images.  相似文献

The waiting time distribution w(τ), i.e. the probability for a delay τ between two subsequent transition (‘jumps’) of particles, is a statistical tool in (quantum) transport. Using generalized Master equations for systems coupled to external particle reservoirs, one can establish relations between w(τ) and other statistical transport quantities such as the noise spectrum and the Full Counting Statistics. It turns out that w(τ) usually contains additional information on system parameters and properties such as quantum coherence, the number of internal states, or the entropy of the current channels that participate in transport.  相似文献

本文采用直流磁控溅射方法在普通浮法玻璃基底上制备了立方多晶铁锰矿结构的铟锡氧化物(indium tin oxide, ITO)薄膜,并对其进行了结晶性、表面粗糙度、紫外-可见吸收光谱、折射率、介电常数及霍尔效应的测试.研究了溅射时基底温度的改变对于ITO薄膜的光电、表面等离子体性质的影响.随着基底温度由100?C升高至500?C,其光学带隙(3.64—3.97eV)展宽,减少了电子带间跃迁的概率,有效降低了ITO薄膜的光学损耗.与此同时,对应ITO薄膜的载流子浓度(4.1×10~(20)-—2.48×10~(21)cm~(-3))与迁移率(24.6—32.2 cm~2·V~(-1)·s~(-1))得到提高,电学损耗明显降低.  相似文献

首先测量了GaN肖特基二极管的正向变温电流-电压特性,研究了其电流输运机制,然后分析了在不同注入电流条件下的低频噪声行为.结果表明:1)在正向高电压区,热发射机制占主导,有效势垒高度约为1.25 eV;2)在正向低偏压区(V <0.8 V),与位错相关的缺陷辅助隧穿电流占主导,有效势垒高度约为0.92 eV (T=300 K);3)在极小电流(I <1μA)和极低频率(f <10 Hz)下,洛伦兹型噪声才会出现;电子的渡越时间取决于多个缺陷对电子的不断捕获和释放过程,典型时间常数约为30 ms (I=1μA);4)在更高频率和电流下,低频1/f噪声占主导;电流的输运主要受到势垒高度的随机波动的影响,所对应的系数约为1.1.  相似文献

Porous road surfaces reduce road traffic noise. A new method of noise reduction assessment is proposed. The noise generated by a few vehicles was measured two times: on an old surface with the dense asphalt and on a new surface with the porous asphalt. Subjective assessments of drive-by noise suggest that the sound exposure and the road surface coefficient can be used as the acoustical characteristics of a road surface. Their average values, with the average number of vehicles passing the receiver during a day or night, makes it possible to predict the equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level for the new road surface. Based on the whole process of recording and reconstruction of digital holography, we study the formation causes of speckle noise in the reconstructed image and its characteristics. And we reach the conclusions that the little hologram aperture diffraction aggravates the speckle noise and the speckle noise in the reconstructed image is a kind of multiplicative noise. Serving as the basis of these features, we propose the reduction technique for speckle noise. Firstly, we set an appropriate aperture function matching the recording parameter and an aperture size of hologram and deconvolve the reconstructed image of the hologram with it. Secondly, we converted the multiplicative noise into additive noise by means of homomorphic transform and realize the separation of signal and noise. Thirdly, we applied the Wiener filtering to reduce the additive noise. Finally, we carried out the inverse transformation. The proposed reduction technique is illustrated with experimental results. Therefore, the paper offers a brand-new thought and practical way of reducing the speckle noise in the reconstructed image of digital holography.  相似文献

Temperature dependence of transport ac losses in two Bi-2223/Ag multifilamentary tapes with different dc current–voltage characteristics was measured using a lock-in technique at power frequencies. At each temperature, different criteria for critical current determination were used. Comparisons of normalised ac losses with predictions of theoretical models for a tape with elliptical cross-section and a thin strip were made. It was found that the form of the current–voltage characteristic and the critical current criterion play an important role in comparison with theoretical data. A new normalisation procedure of ac loss data is proposed.  相似文献

研究了由乘性和加性噪声的线性组合作为调制噪声的线性系统的随机共振.运用平均法,得到了一、二阶矩和信噪比的精确表达式. 通过分析信噪比,在此系统中发现了真实的随机共振、传统的随机共振和广义随机共振.发现在真实的随机共振中,适当地调整参数,共振和抑制会同时出现.此外,还发现对不同的互关联强度,分别选用乘性和加性噪声作为调制噪声能够提高信噪比. 关键词: 随机共振 信噪比 调制噪声 分段噪声  相似文献

This paper presents a calculation of the attenuation length of Rayleigh surface waves in the presence of surface roughness. We consider Rayleigh waves on the surface of a semi-infinite isotropic elastic continuum, and the method we use produces the contribution to the attenuation rate proportional to the square of the rms amplitude of the roughness. We obtain explicit expressions for the contribution to the attenuation rate from roughness-induced scattering into bulk transverse and longitudinal acoustic waves, and into Rayleigh waves. Our derivation makes use of a Green's function method. When the wavelength λ of the Rayleigh wave is long compared to the transverse correlation length a that characterizes the surface roughness, all contributions to the attenuation rate are proportional to the fifth power of the frequency. When λ is comparable to or smaller than a, the attenuation constant varies more slowly with frequency. For a model of the surface roughness, we present numerical calculations of the relative magnitude and frequency dependence of the various contributions to the attenuation rate. The Green's functions used here may be applied to a number of calculations. A derivation of their form is provided in an Appendix.  相似文献
