We consider biased random walks on the infinite cluster of a conditional bond percolation model on the infinite ladder graph. Axelson-Fisk and Häggström established for this model a phase transition for the asymptotic linear speed \(\overline{\hbox {v}}\) of the walk. Namely, there exists some critical value \(\lambda _{\hbox {c}}>0\) such that \(\overline{\hbox {v}}>0\) if \(\lambda \in (0,\lambda _{\hbox {c}})\) and \(\overline{\hbox {v}}=0\) if \(\lambda \ge \lambda _{\hbox {c}}\). We show that the speed \(\overline{\hbox {v}}\) is continuous in \(\lambda \) on \((0,\infty )\) and differentiable on \((0,\lambda _{\hbox {c}}/2)\). Moreover, we characterize the derivative as a covariance. For the proof of the differentiability of \(\overline{\hbox {v}}\) on \((0,\lambda _{\hbox {c}}/2)\), we require and prove a central limit theorem for the biased random walk. Additionally, we prove that the central limit theorem fails to hold for \(\lambda \ge \lambda _{\hbox {c}}/2\).  相似文献

Valence universal multireference coupled cluster (VUMRCC) method via eigenvalue independent partitioning has been applied to estimate the effect of three-body transformed Hamiltonian (\(\widetilde{{H}}_3\)) on ionisation potentials through full connected triple excitations \(S_{3}^{(1,0) }\). \(\widetilde{H}_3 \) is constructed using CCSDT1-A model of Bartlett et al for the ground-state calculation. Contribution of transformed Hamiltonian through full connected triples \(\overline{\widetilde{H}_3 S_3^{\left( {1,0} \right) }}\) involves huge amount of computational operations that is time-consuming. Investigation on \(\hbox {Cl}_{2}\) and \(\hbox {F}_{2}\) molecules using cc-pVDZ and cc-pVTZ basis sets shows that the above effect varies from 0.001 eV to around 0.5 eV, suggesting that inclusion of \(\overline{\widetilde{H} _3 S_3^{\left( {1,0} \right) } }\) is essential for highly accurate calculations.  相似文献

We focus on constructing a generic representation of Y(so(3)) based on the Lie algebraic basis of so(3) basis, and further developing transition of Yangian operator \(\hat {\mathbf {Y}}\). As an application of Y(so(3)), we calculate all the matrix elements of unit vector operators \(\hat {\mathbf {n}}\) in angular momentum basis. It is also discovered that the Yangian operator \(\hat {\mathbf {Y}}\) may work in quantum vector space. In addition, some shift operators \(\hat {O}^{(\pm )}_{\mu }\) are naturally built on the basis of the representation of Y(so(3)). As an another application of Y(so(3)), we can derive the CG cofficients of two coupled angular momenta from the down-shift operator \(\hat {O}^{(-)}_{-1}\) acting on a so(3)-coupled tensor basis. This not only explores that Yangian algebras can work in quantum tensor space, but also provides a novel approach to solve CG coefficients for two coupled angular momenta.  相似文献

One considers the discrete space-time geometry \(\mathcal {G}_{\mathrm {d}}\), which is given on the set of points (events), where the geometry of Minkowski is given. This discrete geometry is not a geometry on lattice. Motion of a free particle is considered in \(\mathcal {G}_{\mathrm {d}}\). Free motion in \(\mathcal {G}_{\mathrm {d}}\) can be reduced to a motion in geometry of Minkowski \(\mathcal {G}_{\mathrm {M}}\) in some force field. Primordial free motion in \(\mathcal {G}_{\mathrm {d}}\) appears to be stochastic. In \(\mathcal {G }_{\mathrm {M}}\) it is difficult to describe the force field responsible for stochastic motion of a particle. The nature of this force field appears to be geometrical.  相似文献

Some laser spectroscopy experiments carried out by the Atomic Spectroscopy and Collisions Using Slow Antiprotons (ASACUSA) collaboration to measure the single-photon transition frequencies of antiprotonic helium (\(\overline {p}\text {He}^{+}\equiv \overline {p}+\text {He}^{2+}+e^{-}\)) atoms are reviewed. The \(\overline {p}\text {He}^{+}\) were cooled to temperature T =?1.5–1.7 K by buffer-gas cooling in a cryogenic gas target, thus reducing the thermal Doppler width in the single-photon resonance lines. The antiproton-to-electron mass ratio was determined as \(M_{\overline {p}}/m_{e}=?1836.1526734(15)\) by comparisons with the results of three-body quantum electrodynamics calculations. This agreed with the known proton-to-electron mass ratio.  相似文献

We use MasterCode to perform a frequentist analysis of the constraints on a phenomenological MSSM model with 11 parameters, the pMSSM11, including constraints from \(\sim 36\)/fb of LHC data at 13 TeV and PICO, XENON1T and PandaX-II searches for dark matter scattering, as well as previous accelerator and astrophysical measurements, presenting fits both with and without the \((g-2)_\mu \) constraint. The pMSSM11 is specified by the following parameters: 3 gaugino masses \(M_{1,2,3}\), a common mass for the first-and second-generation squarks \(m_{\tilde{q}}\) and a distinct third-generation squark mass \(m_{\tilde{q}_3}\), a common mass for the first-and second-generation sleptons \(m_{\tilde{\ell }}\) and a distinct third-generation slepton mass \(m_{\tilde{\tau }}\), a common trilinear mixing parameter A, the Higgs mixing parameter \(\mu \), the pseudoscalar Higgs mass \(M_A\) and \(\tan \beta \). In the fit including \((g-2)_\mu \), a Bino-like \(\tilde{\chi }^0_{1}\) is preferred, whereas a Higgsino-like \(\tilde{\chi }^0_{1}\) is mildly favoured when the \((g-2)_\mu \) constraint is dropped. We identify the mechanisms that operate in different regions of the pMSSM11 parameter space to bring the relic density of the lightest neutralino, \(\tilde{\chi }^0_{1}\), into the range indicated by cosmological data. In the fit including \((g-2)_\mu \), coannihilations with \(\tilde{\chi }^0_{2}\) and the Wino-like \(\tilde{\chi }^\pm _{1}\) or with nearly-degenerate first- and second-generation sleptons are active, whereas coannihilations with the \(\tilde{\chi }^0_{2}\) and the Higgsino-like \(\tilde{\chi }^\pm _{1}\) or with first- and second-generation squarks may be important when the \((g-2)_\mu \) constraint is dropped. In the two cases, we present \(\chi ^2\) functions in two-dimensional mass planes as well as their one-dimensional profile projections and best-fit spectra. Prospects remain for discovering strongly-interacting sparticles at the LHC, in both the scenarios with and without the \((g-2)_\mu \) constraint, as well as for discovering electroweakly-interacting sparticles at a future linear \(e^+ e^-\) collider such as the ILC or CLIC.  相似文献

The spin density matrix of the \(\omega \) has been determined for the reaction \({\bar{p}p}\,\rightarrow \,\omega \pi ^0\) with unpolarized in-flight data measured by the Crystal Barrel LEAR experiment at CERN. The two main decay modes of the \(\omega \) into \(\pi ^0 \gamma \) and \(\pi ^+ \pi ^- \pi ^0\) have been separately analyzed for various \({\bar{p}}\)momenta between 600 and 1940 MeV/c. The results obtained with the usual method by extracting the matrix elements via the \(\omega \) decay angular distributions and with the more sophisticated method via a full partial wave analysis are in good agreement. A strong spin alignment of the \(\omega \) is clearly visible in this energy regime and all individual spin density matrix elements exhibit an oscillatory dependence on the production angle. In addition, the largest contributing orbital angular momentum of the \({\bar{p}p~}\)system has been identified for the different beam momenta. It increases from \(L^{max}_{{\bar{p}p~}}\) \(=\) 2 at 600 MeV/c to \(L^{max}_{{\bar{p}p~}}\) \(=\) 5 at 1940 MeV/c.  相似文献

We study the CP-violation effects from two types of neutrino mass matrices with (i) \((M_\nu )_{ee}=0\), and (ii) \((M_\nu )_{ee}=(M_\nu )_{e\mu }=0\), which can be realized by the high-dimensional lepton number violating operators \(\bar{\ell }_R^c\gamma ^\mu L_L (D_\mu \Phi )\Phi ^2\) and \(\bar{\ell }_R^c l_R (D_\mu {\Phi })^2\Phi ^2\), respectively. In (i), the neutrino mass spectrum is in the normal ordering with the lightest neutrino mass within the range \(0.002\,\mathrm{eV}\lesssim m_0\lesssim 0.007\,\mathrm{eV}\). Furthermore, for a given value of \(m_0\), there are two solutions for the two Majorana phases \(\alpha _{21}\) and \(\alpha _{31}\), whereas the Dirac phase \(\delta \) is arbitrary. For (ii), the parameters of \(m_0\), \(\delta \), \(\alpha _{21}\), and \(\alpha _{31}\) can be completely determined. We calculate the CP-violating asymmetries in neutrino–antineutrino oscillations for both mass textures of (i) and (ii), which are closely related to the CP-violating Majorana phases.  相似文献

The first-principle density functional theory (DFT) calculations were employed to investigate the electronic structures, magnetic properties and half-metallicity of \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrZ}\) (Z \(=\) B, Al, Ga, and In) Heusler alloys with \(\text {AlCu}_{2}\text {Mn}\)- and \(\text {CuHg}_{2}\text {Ti}\)-type structures within local density approximation and generalised gradient approximation for the exchange correlation potential. It was found that \(\text {CuHg}_{2}\text {Ti}\)-type structure in ferromagnetic state was energetically more favourable than \(\text {AlCu}_{2}\text {Mn}\)-type structure in all compounds except \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrB}\) which was stable in \(\text {AlCu}_{2}\text {Mn}\)-type structure in non-magnetic state. \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrZ}\) (Z \(=\) B, Al, Ga, and In) alloys in \(\text {CuHg}_{2}\text {Ti}\)-type structure were half-metallic ferromagnets at their equilibrium lattice constants. Half-metallic band gaps were respectively equal to 0.87, 0.79, 0.75, and 0.73 eV for \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrB}\), \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrAl}\), \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrGa}\), and \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrIn}\). The origin of half-metallicity was discussed for \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrGa}\) using the energy band structure. The total magnetic moments of \(\text {Ti}_{2}\text {IrZ}\) (Z \(=\) B, Al, Ga, and In) compounds in \(\text {CuHg}_{2}\text {Ti}\)-type structure were obtained as \(2\mu _{\mathrm{B}}\) per formula unit, which were in agreement with Slater–Pauling rule (\(M_{\mathrm{tot}} =Z_{\mathrm{tot}}-\)18). All the four compounds were half-metals in a wide range of lattice constants indicating that they may be suitable and promising materials for future spintronic applications.  相似文献

We consider a class of two-dimensional Schrödinger operator with a singular interaction of the \(\delta \) type and a fixed strength \(\beta \) supported by an infinite family of concentric, equidistantly spaced circles, and discuss what happens below the essential spectrum when the system is amended by an Aharonov–Bohm flux \(\alpha \in [0,\frac{1}{2}]\) in the center. It is shown that if \(\beta \ne 0\), there is a critical value \(\alpha _{\mathrm {crit}}\in (0,\frac{1}{2})\) such that the discrete spectrum has an accumulation point when \(\alpha <\alpha _{\mathrm {crit}}\), while for \(\alpha \ge \alpha _{\mathrm {crit}}\) the number of eigenvalues is at most finite, in particular, the discrete spectrum is empty for any fixed \(\alpha \in (0,\frac{1}{2})\) and \(|\beta |\) small enough.  相似文献

Thymidylate synthase (TS), one of folate-dependent enzymes, is a key and well-recognized target for anticancer agents. In this study, a series of 6-aryl-5-cyano thiouracil derivatives were designed and synthesized in accordance with essential pharmacophoric features of known TS inhibitors. Nineteen compounds were screened in vitro for their anti-proliferative activities toward HePG-2, MCF-7, HCT-116, and PC-3 cell lines. Compounds \(\mathbf{21}_{\mathbf{c}}\), \(\mathbf{21}_{\mathbf{d}}\), and 24 exhibited high anti-proliferative activity, comparable to that of 5-fluorouracil. Additionally, ten compounds with potent anti-proliferative activities were further evaluated for their ability to inhibit TS enzyme. Six compounds (\(\mathbf{21}_{\mathbf{b}}\), \(\mathbf{21}_{\mathbf{c}}\), \(\mathbf{21}_{\mathbf{d}}\), 22, 23 and 24) demonstrated potent dose-related TS inhibition with \(\hbox {IC}_{50}\) values ranging from 1.57 to \(3.89\,\upmu \hbox {M}\). The in vitro TS activity results were consistent with those of the cytotoxicity assay where the most potent anti-proliferative compounds of the series showed good TS inhibitory activity comparable to that of 5-fluorouracil. Furthermore, molecular docking studies were carried out to investigate the binding pattern of the designed compounds with the prospective target, TS (PDB-code: 1JU6).  相似文献

We study the screening length \(L_{\mathrm{max}}\) of a moving quark–antiquark pair in a hot plasma, which lives in a two sphere, \(S^2\), using the AdS/CFT correspondence in which the corresponding background metric is the four-dimensional Schwarzschild–AdS black hole. The geodesic of both ends of the string at the boundary, interpreted as the quark–antiquark pair, is given by a stationary motion in the equatorial plane by which the separation length L of both ends of the string is parallel to the angular velocity \(\omega \). The screening length and total energy H of the quark–antiquark pair are computed numerically and show that the plots are bounded from below by some functions related to the momentum transfer \(P_c\) of the drag force configuration. We compare the result by computing the screening length in the reference frame of the moving quark–antiquark pair, in which the background metrics are “Boost-AdS” and Kerr–AdS black holes. Comparing both black holes, we argue that the mass parameters \(M_{\mathrm{Sch}}\) of the Schwarzschild–AdS black hole and \(M_{\mathrm{Kerr}}\) of the Kerr–AdS black hole are related at high temperature by \(M_{\mathrm{Kerr}}=M_{\mathrm{Sch}}(1-a^2l^2)^{3/2}\), where a is the angular momentum parameter and l is the AdS curvature.  相似文献

We describe a likelihood analysis using MasterCode of variants of the MSSM in which the soft supersymmetry-breaking parameters are assumed to have universal values at some scale \(M_\mathrm{in}\) below the supersymmetric grand unification scale \(M_\mathrm{GUT}\), as can occur in mirage mediation and other models. In addition to \(M_\mathrm{in}\), such ‘sub-GUT’ models have the 4 parameters of the CMSSM, namely a common gaugino mass \(m_{1/2}\), a common soft supersymmetry-breaking scalar mass \(m_0\), a common trilinear mixing parameter A and the ratio of MSSM Higgs vevs \(\tan \beta \), assuming that the Higgs mixing parameter \(\mu > 0\). We take into account constraints on strongly- and electroweakly-interacting sparticles from \(\sim 36\)/fb of LHC data at 13 TeV and the LUX and 2017 PICO, XENON1T and PandaX-II searches for dark matter scattering, in addition to the previous LHC and dark matter constraints as well as full sets of flavour and electroweak constraints. We find a preference for \(M_\mathrm{in}\sim 10^5\) to \(10^9 \,\, \mathrm {GeV}\), with \(M_\mathrm{in}\sim M_\mathrm{GUT}\) disfavoured by \(\Delta \chi ^2 \sim 3\) due to the \(\mathrm{BR}(B_{s, d} \rightarrow \mu ^+\mu ^-)\) constraint. The lower limits on strongly-interacting sparticles are largely determined by LHC searches, and similar to those in the CMSSM. We find a preference for the LSP to be a Bino or Higgsino with \(m_{\tilde{\chi }^0_{1}} \sim 1 \,\, \mathrm {TeV}\), with annihilation via heavy Higgs bosons H / A and stop coannihilation, or chargino coannihilation, bringing the cold dark matter density into the cosmological range. We find that spin-independent dark matter scattering is likely to be within reach of the planned LUX-Zeplin and XENONnT experiments. We probe the impact of the \((g-2)_\mu \) constraint, finding similar results whether or not it is included.  相似文献

We show that in homogeneous fragmentation processes the largest fragment at time t has size
$$\begin{aligned} e^{-t \Phi '(\overline{p})}t^{-\frac{3}{2} (\log \Phi )'(\overline{p})+o(1)}, \end{aligned}$$
where \(\Phi \) is the Lévy exponent of the fragmentation process, and \(\overline{p}\) is the unique solution of the equation \((\log \Phi )'(\bar{p})=\frac{1}{1+\bar{p}}\). We argue that this result is in line with predictions arising from the classification of homogeneous fragmentation processes as logarithmically correlated random fields.

Models of induced-gravity inflation are formulated within Supergravity employing as inflaton the Higgs field which leads to a spontaneous breaking of a \(U(1)_{B-L}\) symmetry at \(M_\mathrm{GUT}=2\cdot 10^{16}~{\mathrm{GeV}}\). We use a renormalizable superpotential, fixed by a U(1) R symmetry, and Kähler potentials which exhibit a quadratic non-minimal coupling to gravity with or without an independent kinetic mixing in the inflaton sector. In both cases we find inflationary solutions of Starobinsky type whereas in the latter case, others (more marginal) which resemble those of linear inflation arise too. In all cases the inflaton mass is predicted to be of the order of \(10^{13}~{\mathrm{GeV}}\). Extending the superpotential of the model with suitable terms, we show how the MSSM \(\mu \) parameter can be generated. Also, non-thermal leptogenesis can be successfully realized, provided that the gravitino is heavier than about \(10~{\mathrm{TeV}}\).  相似文献

We investigate the following questions: Given a measure \(\mu _\Lambda \) on configurations on a subset \(\Lambda \) of a lattice \(\mathbb {L}\), where a configuration is an element of \(\Omega ^\Lambda \) for some fixed set \(\Omega \), does there exist a measure \(\mu \) on configurations on all of \(\mathbb {L}\), invariant under some specified symmetry group of \(\mathbb {L}\), such that \(\mu _\Lambda \) is its marginal on configurations on \(\Lambda \)? When the answer is yes, what are the properties, e.g., the entropies, of such measures? Our primary focus is the case in which \(\mathbb {L}=\mathbb {Z}^d\) and the symmetries are the translations. For the case in which \(\Lambda \) is an interval in \(\mathbb {Z}\) we give a simple necessary and sufficient condition, local translation invariance (LTI), for extendibility. For LTI measures we construct extensions having maximal entropy, which we show are Gibbs measures; this construction extends to the case in which \(\mathbb {L}\) is the Bethe lattice. On \(\mathbb {Z}\) we also consider extensions supported on periodic configurations, which are analyzed using de Bruijn graphs and which include the extensions with minimal entropy. When \(\Lambda \subset \mathbb {Z}\) is not an interval, or when \(\Lambda \subset \mathbb {Z}^d\) with \(d>1\), the LTI condition is necessary but not sufficient for extendibility. For \(\mathbb {Z}^d\) with \(d>1\), extendibility is in some sense undecidable.  相似文献

We study the two-body decays of the gluino at full one-loop level in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with quark-flavour violation (QFV) in the squark sector. The renormalisation is done in the \(\overline{\mathrm{DR}}\) scheme. The gluon and photon radiations are included by adding the corresponding three-body decay widths. We discuss the dependence of the gluino decay widths on the QFV parameters. The main dependence stems from the \(\tilde{c}_R \)\( \tilde{t}_R\) mixing in the decays to up-type squarks, and from the \(\tilde{s}_R \)\( \tilde{b}_R\) mixing in the decays to down-type squarks due to the strong constraints from B-physics on the other quark-flavour-mixing parameters. The full one-loop corrections to the gluino decay widths are mostly negative and of the order of about ?10%. The QFV part stays small in the total width but can vary up to ?8% for the decay width into the lightest \(\tilde{u}\) squark. For the corresponding branching ratio the effect is somehow washed out by at least a factor of two. The electroweak corrections can be as large as 35% of the SUSY QCD corrections.  相似文献

In this short note we contribute to the generic dynamics of geodesic flows associated to metrics on compact Riemannian manifolds of dimension ≥?2. We prove that there exists a C2-residual subset \(\mathscr{R}\) of metrics on a given compact Riemannian manifold such that if \(g\in \mathscr{R}\), then its associated geodesic flow \({\varphi ^{t}_{g}}\) is expansive if and only if the closure of the set of periodic orbits of \({\varphi ^{t}_{g}}\) is a uniformly hyperbolic set. For surfaces, we obtain a stronger statement: there exists a C2-residual \(\mathscr{R}\) such that if \(g\in \mathscr{R}\), then its associated geodesic flow \({\varphi ^{t}_{g}}\) is expansive if and only if \({\varphi ^{t}_{g}}\) is an Anosov flow.  相似文献
