There has been study on heterocyclicazo reagent for the determination of microamount of nickel, but no study on the color reactron of nickel with a new chromogenic reagent 1- (5 -nitro - 2 - pyridylazo) - 2.7 - dihydroxy - naphthalene (5- NO2 - PADN). So, here is a systematic study on condition under which the color reaction takes place. It proved that within PH 5.5~6.5,the maximnm absotption of the reagent lies at 460nm, that of the 2:1 turquoise chelate by 5 - NO2 - PADN with nickel (Ⅱ) together is 650nm, and the apparent absorptivity is 1.02×105 L · mol-1 · cm-1. The proposed method can be applied in the standard steel and the determination of microamounts of nickel in ore with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new thiazolylazo chromogenic reagent, 2-[2-(6-methylbenzo-thiazoly)azo]-5-diethylaminobenzoic acid (6-Me-BTAEB), has been synthesized. Its chromogenic reaction with microamounts of nickel in the presence of sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) has been thoroughly studied. 6-Me-BTAEB reacts with nickel(II) in weak acid medium containing appropriate amounts of SDS to form a blue-violet complex with high sensitivity, good selectivity and high stability. The composition is found to be 1:2 (nickel to 6-Me-BTAEB) and its absorption maximum is at 650 nm with an apparent molar absorptivity of 1.67 × 105l mole–1 cm–1. Beer's law is obeyed over the range 0-0.4 g of nickel per ml. The proposed method has been applied to the direct determination of nickel in aluminium alloys, pure magnesium and low alloy steels at the 0.2–0.3% (w:w) level with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Two bis-(1-arylliminomethylenyl-2-oxy-naphthalen) nickel complexes (aryl = 2-methylphenyl, complex 1; aryl = 2,6-diisoproylphenyl, complex 2) were reacted with alkylaluminium in presence of equimolar PPh3 and tested as catalysts in methyl methacrylate (MMA) polymerization. The two nickel catalysts can initiate polymerization of MMA with good to high activity, the highest activity reaching 1.1 × 105 g PMMA/(mol Ni · h) by less bulky complex 1 at 0.8 mol/L of MMA, 400 of Al/Ni ratio and 0 °C. In addition, the structures of nickel complexes and polymerization conditions, such as monomer concentration, polymerization temperature and Al/Ni molar ratio on catalytic activity of polymerization have great influences on catalytic activity and product properties.  相似文献

A sensitive, selective and rapid method for the determination of nickel based on a rapid reaction of nickel(II) with 2-(2-quinolylazo)-5-diethylaminoaniline (QADEAA) has been developed. In the presence of pH = 6.0 ammonia-ammonium chloride buffer solution and sodium dodecyl sulfonate (SDS) medium, QADEAA reacts with nickel to form a violet complex having a molar ratio of 1:2 (nickel to QADEAA). The molar absorptivity of the complex is 1.38 x 10(5) l mol(-1) cm(-1) at 595 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0.01-0.4 microg/ml. This method had been applied to the determination of nickel with good results.  相似文献

A simple, rapid, selective, sensitive and economical method has been developed for the simultaneous determination of trace amounts of palladium and nickel in aqueous methanolic medium using 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-5-dimethylam inobenzoic acid as an analytical reagent by first derivative spectrophotometr y. Palladium is determined by measuring base to peak distance at λ=695.0 nm while nickel is estimated by zero crossing method in the mixture. The linearity is maintained between 0.12–1.75 μg mL−1 for palladium and 0.07–1.60 μg mL−1 for nickel in the pH range 2.8–7.2 and 3.4–8.8 respectively. Seven replicate determinations of 1.0 μ g mL−1 of palladium and 0.8 μg mL−1 of nickel in a mixture give a mean signal height of 0.391 for Pd and 0.541 for Ni with relative standard deviations of 0.9% and 1.2%, respectively. The sensitivity of the proposed method is 0.391 (dA/dλ)/(μg mL−1) for palladium and 0.685 (dA/dλ)/(μg mL−1) for nickel. Various parameters have been optimised for the simultaneous determination of palladium and nickel in various complex samples. Received March 30, 1999. Revision November 25, 1999.  相似文献

The optimum conditions for the preconcentration of nickel, zinc, cobalt, and copper on a Silochrom C-120 silica modified with 4-(2-thiazolylazo)resorcinol were found. Chromaticity characteristics of the metal chelates were determined. It was shown that nickel and zinc chelates meet the requirements of the separate determination. A method for the separate determination of 0.05-1 Μg/mL of nickel and 0.15-5 Μg/mL of zinc based on chromaticity measurements was proposed. Procedures for determining zinc, nickel, and cobalt in soils were developed.  相似文献

Nickel is a moderately toxic element compared with other transition metals. However, inhalation of nickel and its compounds leads to serious problems, including cancer of the respiratory system and a skin disorder, nickel-eczema. Thus, attention has focused on the toxicity of nickel at low concentrations, and the development of reliable, analytical approaches for the determination of trace amounts of nickel is needed. This paper describes a simple, rapid, and sensitive flame atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of trace amounts of nickel in various samples after adsorption of its 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol complex on a modified Analcime column in the pH range of 7.5-10.5. The retained analyte on the Analcime is recovered with 5.0 mL 2 M nitric acid and determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The detection limit is 20 ng/mL, and the calibration curve is linear for analyte concentrations in the range of 0.1-8 microg/mL final solution, with a correlation coefficient of 0.9993. Eight replicate determinations of nickel at 2 microg/mL in the final solution gave an absorbance of 0.1222, with a relative standard deviation (RSD) of +/-1.2%. The interference of a large number of anions and cations was studied, and the proposed method was used for the determination of nickel in various standard reference samples. The accuracy of the proposed method was evaluated by analyzing standard reference samples, and the results were satisfactory (recoveries of >96%; RSD of <3.5%).  相似文献

An atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of trace amounts of nickel after adsorption of its 1 -(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol complex on microcrystalline naphthalene has been developed. This complex is adsorbed on microcrystalline naphthalene in the pH range 4.5-7.8 from large volumes of aque ous solutions of various alloys and biological and environmental samples containing nickel. After filtration, the solid mass consisting of nickel complex and naphthalene was dissolved in 5 mL of dimethylformamide, and the metal was determined using a flame atomic absorption spectrometer at a wavelength of 232 nm. Alternatively, nickel can be quantitatively adsorbed on [l-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol]-naphthalene adsorbent packed in a column and determined similarly. The calibration curve is linear over the concentration range 2.0-100 Μg of nickel in 5 mL of the final dimethylformamide solution. Eight replicate determinations of 20 Μg of nickel give a mean absorbance of 0.072 with a relative standard deviation of 1.3%. The sensitivity for 1% absorption is 0.24 Μg/mL. Various parameters such as the effect of pH, the volume of the aqueous phase, and the interference of a large number of metal ions with the determination of nickel have been studied in detail to optimize the conditions for its determination in various standard alloys and biological and environmental samples. A new sensitive and selective chromogenic reagent, 1-azobenzene-3-(3-hydroxyl-2-pyridyl)-triazene (ABHPT), was synthesized. It has been found that ABHPT reacts with nickel(II) in a borax buffer solution (pH 10.0) to form 2: 1 red complexes with the maximum absorption at 530 nm. The apparent molar absorptivity of the complex is 2.6 × 105 L/(mol cm). Most metal ions can be tolerated in considerable amounts, whereby only zinc and mercury may interfere with the determination of nickel(II). Nevertheless, this can be easily eliminated by prior separation with sulfhydryl dextran gel. A new method for the spectrophotometric determination of trace nickel(II) was developed. Beer’s law is obeyed for 0–15 μg of nickel(II) in 25 mL of solution. The limit of quantification, limit of detection, and relative standard deviation are 0.74 ng/mL, 0.25 ng/mL, and 1.0%, respectively. The method has been applied to the determination of trace nickel(II) in biological samples with satisfactory results. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

Since 8-aminoquinoline has (N,N) as its chelating atom,it is more selective than 8-hydroxyquinoline and 8-mercaptoquinoline. So recently, derivative of 8-aminoquinoline has attracted much attention as analytical reagent. In this work, a new type of 8-aminoquinoline derivative 5-(6-nitro-2-benzothiazoleazo)-8-aminoquinoline (NBTAQ) has been synthesized and tested as a possible chromogenic reagent for the spectrophotometric determination of cobalt and nickel. The result shows that in the presence of the cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and borax buffer solution, cobalt and nickel react with the reagent to form 1:2 blue complexes, respectively. The absorption peaks of Co-NBTAQ and Ni-NBTAQ complexes were located at 650 and 615 nm, respectively, and the apparent molar absorbtivities are 9.21×l04(Co) and 1.13×l05 (Ni) I.mol-1.cm-1. The methods adhere to Beer's law for 0-0.32 μg. Ml-1 of cobalt and 0-0.24 μg. Ml-1 of nickel and the colour system is stable for no less than 24 h. The experimental variables affecting colour formation and the possible interference of co-existing ions were thoroughly studied. The optimum conditions established were incorporated in the recommended procedures.  相似文献

Three sulfonated 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthols and six sulfonated 2-(2-pyridylazo)-1-naphthols were synthesized, and their application to the spectrophotometric determination of metals was studied. The acidity constants of the reagents and the stability constants of the nickel chelates are reported, and the relationship between their properties and the position of the sulfonic acid group is discussed. 1-(2-Pyridylazo)-2-naphthol-6-sulfonic acid (PAN-6S) and 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid (PAN-7S) are sensitive and selective reagents for nickel. The determination of nickel in the presence of cobalt with PAN-6S is described. Extraction of the chelate as the ion-pair with tetraphenylarsonium ions into chloroform is suitable for the determination of 1–10 μg Ni at 570 nm; the molar absorptivity is 56 000 l mol-1 cm-1, and interferences are easily avoided.  相似文献

A new metallacyclic compound (η5-cyclopentadienyl)(η5-(1-(η5-cyclopentadienyl)-2-phenyl-3-methyl-1-nickelaindenyl)nickel was synthesised and characterised. Its molecular and crystal structure was determined by X-ray measurements. It crystallises from hexane:THF mixture in the monoclinic crystal system and the P21/c space group. This is the first example of the homometallic metallametallocene of nickel. Like in nickelocene the central nickel atom has 20 valence electrons, so the compound can be regarded as the first nickelacyclic analogue of nickelocene.  相似文献

1-(2-Pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) has been used for the simultaneous determination of nickel and palladium at trace levels. PAN complexes of nickel and palladium in the pH 1.98 form red and green colored complexes, respectively, which are soluble in aqueous 4:1 Triton X-100 to sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) micellar media with total detergent concentration of 3.2%. Under optimum conditions, calibration graphs for the simultaneous determination by second derivative spectrophotometry were obtained. Zero crossing second derivative spectrophotometry at 668 and 572 nm, respectively for palladium and nickel was used for the simultaneous determination. The method is able to determine palladium to nickel ratio 70:1 to 1:6 (Wt/Wt), accurately. Accuracy and reproducibility of the determination method on the known various amounts of palladium and nickel in their binary mixtures were tested. Effects of diverse ions on the determination of palladium and nickel to investigate selectivity of the method also were studied.  相似文献

A red, water-soluble complex of nickel with PAR can be extracted into chloroform with CTAB at pH 7.0. The system obeys Beer's law upto 0.5 μg/ml with a molar absorptivity of 45 200 L·mol?1·cm?1 at 540 nm. Job's method of continuous variations revealed that the composition of the extracting species is 1:2:2 for nickel:PAR:CTAB. Based on this extraction, a highly sensitive and selective spectrophotometric method for the determination of nickel in polymetallic sea-bed nodules and in steels, after prior separation of iron and manganese, was developed. The standard deviation was 0.04–0.127 μg for 5–25 μg of nickel.  相似文献

A series of 2-(methyl-substituted-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)-6-(1-aryliminoethyl)pyridines (L1–L6) were synthesized and used as N^N^N tridentate ligands for their nickel complexes (C1–C12). All ligands were fully characterized by elemental, NMR and IR spectroscopic analyses, while their nickel complexes were characterized by elemental and IR spectroscopic analyses. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that the complexes C1, C3 and C9 have distorted octahedral geometry around the Ni center. All nickel complexes, activated with Et2AlCl, exhibit good catalytic activities toward ethylene oligomerization with major dimerization.  相似文献

Summary The 4-(2-thiazolyl)thiosemicarbazide HTTSC, reacts with metal ions to yield two types of complex M(HTTSC)2 Cl2 [M=cobalt(II), nickel(II) copper(II), cadmium(II), or mercury(II)] and [M(TTSC)2] [M=cobalt(II), nickel(II) or copper(II)]. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses and studied by magnetic and spectroscopic techniques. Tetrahedral coordination around cadmium(II) and mercury(II), square planar geometry around cobalt(II) and nickel(II) in [Co(TTSC)2] and [Ni(HTTSC)2]Cl2, respectively, and octahedral stereochemistry for the remaining complexes is proposed.  相似文献

A microcolumn of alumina modified with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) was prepared for the preconcentration of trace nickel from water samples for a flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) determination. Under optimized conditions (pH = 4.0; flow rate, 5 mL min–1) nickel (II) was retained on the column. The nickel collected on the column was eluted with 5 mL of 0.5 M nitric acid. Recovery was greater than 96.7%. A concentration factor of 300 can be achieved by passing 1500 mL of sample through the microcolumn. The relative standard deviation (ten replicate analyses) at the 40 ng mL–1 level for nickel was 2.4%, and the corresponding limit of detection (based on 3) was 0.06 ng mL–1. The method was applied to the determination of Ni in waste and mineral waters.  相似文献
