The blocking probability in wavelength-routed all-optical networks is a very important measure of performance of the network. This blocking probability can be affected by many factors such as network topology, traffic load, number of links, algorithms employed and whether wavelength conversion is available or not. In this paper we have proposed a mathematical model to reduce the blocking probability of the WDM optical network for both wavelength convertible networks as well as for wavelength non-convertible networks. The model is can be used to evaluate the blocking performance of any network topology also it can be useful to improve its performance of the given network topology. 相似文献

Study of the interaction between butyl p-hydroxybenzoate (butoben) and human serum albumin (HSA) has been performed by molecular modeling and multi-spectroscopic method. The interaction mechanism was predicted through molecular modeling first, then the binding parameters were confirmed using a series of spectroscopic methods, including fluorescence spectroscopy, UV-visible absorbance spectroscopy, circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The thermodynamic parameters of the reaction, standard enthalpy ΔH0 and entropy ΔS0, have been calculated to be −29.52 kJ mol−1 and −24.23 J mol−1 K−1, respectively, according to the Van’t Hoff equation, which suggests the van der Waals force and hydrogen bonds are the predominant intermolecular forces in stabilizing the butoben-HSA complex. Results obtained by spectroscopic methods are consistent with that of the molecular modeling study. In addition, alteration of secondary structure of HSA in the presence of butoben was evaluated using the data obtained from UV-visible absorbance, CD and FT-IR spectroscopies. 相似文献

We study a family of generalized slope limiters in two dimensions for Runge–Kutta discontinuous Galerkin (RKDG) solutions of advection-diffusion systems. We analyze the numerical behavior of these limiters applied to a pair of model problems, comparing the error of the approximate solutions, and discuss each limiter’s advantages and disadvantages. We then introduce a series of coupled p-enrichment schemes that may be used as standalone dynamic p-enrichment strategies, or may be augmented via any in the family of variable-in-p slope limiters presented. 相似文献

In this paper, a false color image fusion method for merging visible and infrared images is proposed. Firstly, the source images and reference image are decomposed respectively by Laplacian pyramid transform. Then the grayscale fused image and the difference images between the normalized source images are assigned to construct YCBCR components. In the color transfer step, all the three channels of the color space in each decomposition level are processed with the statistic color mapping according to the color characteristics of the corresponding sub-images of the reference image. Color transfer is designed based on the multi-resolution scheme in order to significantly improve the detailed information of the final image, and to reduce excessive saturation phenomenon to have a comparatively natural color appearance compared with the classical global-coloring algorithm. Moreover, the differencing operation between the normalized source images not only provides inter-sensor contrast to make popping the potential targets but also weakens the influence of the ambient illumination variety to a certain degree. Finally, the fused results and several metrics for evaluation of fused images subjectively and objectively illustrate that the proposed color image fusion algorithm can yield a more complete mental representation of the perceived scene, resulting in better situational awareness. 相似文献

The characteristics of host-guest complexation between p-sulfonated calix [G. Arena, S. Gentile, F. G. Gulino, D. Sciotto, C. Sgarlata, Tetrahedron Lett. 45 (2004) 7091] arene (SC6A) and cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) were studied by fluorescence spectrometry. A 1:1 stoichiometry for the complexation was established and the complex constant was also calculated by a deduced equation. It was found the fluorescence of the complex could be remarkably quenched by an appropriate amount of ceftriaxone sodium (CTRX). Based on the results, a novel spectrofluorimetric method for determination of CTRX was developed with a linear range of 9.2×10−7-8.5×10−5 mol L−1 and a detection of 3.5×10−7 mol L−1. The proposed method was used to determine CTRX in their commercial preparations with satisfactory results. Moreover, the probable interaction mechanisms of the systems were also discussed. 相似文献

Joint L1/Lp-regularized minimization in video recovery of remote sensing based on compressed sensing
L1 regularization and Lp regularization are proposed for processing recovered images based on compressed sensing (CS). L1 regularization can be solved as a convex optimization problem but is less sparse than Lp (0 < p < 1). Lp regularization is sparser than L1 regularization but is more difficult to solve. This paper proposes joint L1/Lp (0 < p < 1) regularization, which combines Lp regularization and L1 regularization. This joint regularization is applied to recover video of remote sensing based on CS. Joint regularization is sparser than L1 regularization but is as easy to solve as L1 regularization. A linearized Bregman reweighted iteration algorithm is proposed to solve the joint L1/Lp regularization problem. The performance and capabilities of the linearized Bregman algorithm and linearized Bregman reweighted algorithm for solving the joint L1/Lp regularization model are analyzed and compared through numerical simulations. 相似文献

In this paper, we report the dependence of Ni/Ag/diffusion barrier (D.B)/Au p-ohmic contact on PtD.B and TiD.B for GaN based flip-chip light emitting diodes (FC LEDs). It is shown that D.B metals have strongly influenced on the reflectance and contact resistivity of contacts. We present these results are caused by the variation of the morphology and atomic distribution due to D.Bs. The roles of PtD.B and TiD.B on Ni/Ag/D.B/Au p-GaN ohmic contacts are analyzed using the confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) measurement and the secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) profiles in details. 相似文献

The samples of Cu1−xPtxFeO2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.05) delafossite have been synthesized by solid-state reaction method to investigate their optical and electrical properties. The properties of electrical resistivity and Seebeck coefficient were measured in the high temperature ranging from 300 to 960 K, and the Hall effect and the optical properties were measured at room temperature. The obtained results of Seebeck showed the samples are p-type conductor. The optical properties at room temperature exhibited the samples are transparent visible light material with optical direct gap 3.45 eV. The low electrical resistivity, hole mobility and carrier density at room temperature displayed value ranging from 0.29 to 0.08 Ω cm, 1.8 to 8.6 cm2/V s and 1.56 × 1018 to 4.04 × 1019 cm−3, respectively. The temperature range for transparent visible light is below 820 K because the direct energy gap contains value above 3.1 eV. Consequently, the Cu1−xPtxFeO2 delafossite enhance performance for materials of p-type transparent conducting oxide (TCO) with low electrical resistivity. 相似文献

The silver nanoparticles were prepared on the glassy carbon (GC) electrode, modified with p-iso propyl calix[6]arene, by preconcentration of silver ions in open circuit potential and followed by electrochemical reduction of silver ions. The stepwise fabrication process of Ag nanoparticles was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The prepared Ag nanoparticles were deposited with an average size of 70 nm and a homogeneous distribution on the surface of electrode. The observed results indicated that the presence of calixarene layer on the electrode surface can control the particle size and prevent the agglomeratione and electrochemical deposition is a promising technique for preparation of nanoparticles due to its easy-to-use procedure and low cost of implementation. Cyclic voltammetry experiments showed that Ag nanoparticles had a good catalytic ability for the reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The effects of p-isopropyl calix[6]arene concentration, applied potential for reduction of Ag+, number of calixarene layers and pH value on the electrocatalytic ability of Ag nanoparticles were investigated. The present modified electrode exhibited a linear range from 5.0 × 10−5 to 6.5 × 10−3 M and a detection limit 2.7 × 10−5 M of H2O2 (S/N = 3) using amperometric method. 相似文献

The copolymers from different feed ratios of N-(methacryloyloxymethyl) benzotriazole (MMBT) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) has been synthesised using free radical solution polymerization technique and characterized using FT-IR and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The thermal stability of the polymers was studied using theremogravimetrtic analysis (TGA). The corrosion behaviors of mild steel specimens dip coated with different composition of copolymers have been evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopic (EIS) method. These electrochemical properties were observed in 0.1 M HCl medium. The polarization and impedance measurements showed different corrosion protection efficiency with change in composition of the copolymers. It was found that the corrosion protection properties are owing to the barrier effect of the polymer layer covered on the mild steel surfaces. However, it was observed that the copolymer obtained from 1:1 mole ratio of MMBT and MMA exhibited better protection efficiency than other combinations. 相似文献

The problem of attaching K rotational quantum number labels after the second diagonalization step in the ρ-axis-method treatment of methyl-top internal rotation problems is considered. A new partially computer-automated labeling scheme for K-labeling is proposed. The scheme is rather simple and does not require any information other than that provided by the numerical eigenvectors obtained after diagonalization of the torsion-rotation Hamiltonian matrix. It assumes that within a given K stack, torsion-rotation eigenfunctions vary slowly when J changes by unity. The basic idea is thus to search for similarities in basis-set composition in torsion-rotation eigenvectors belonging to adjacent J values. In such a way, torsion-rotation states of adjacent J values having the same value of K are connected. This allows one to transfer a given K-label from lower J values, where it can be determined easily (either from eigenvector composition or from energy-ordering considerations), to higher J values, which are characterized by extensive basis-set mixing. The approach was successfully applied to the K-labeling problem of prolate (acetaldehyde, methanol, and ethyl acetamidoacetate) and oblate (acetic acid, acetamide) rotors characterized by significant torsion-rotation interactions in their spectra. The scheme gives correct K-labels for eigenvectors in the majority of cases. The problems with the remaining cases are mainly caused by localized avoided crossing interactions, which can be fixed relatively easily in manual mode using a graphical visualization of the torsion-rotation energy level diagram. 相似文献

Using Kirchhoff transformation, we develop a Dirichlet–Neumann alternating iterative domain decomposition method for a 2D steady-state two-phase model for the cathode of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) which contains a channel and a gas diffusion layer (GDL). This two-phase PEFC model is represented by a nonlinear coupled system which typically includes a modified Navier–Stokes equation with Darcy’s drag as an additional source term of the momentum equation, and a convection–diffusion equation for the water concentration with discontinuous and degenerate diffusivity. For both cases of dry and wet gas channel, we employ Kirchhoff transformation and Dirichlet–Neumann alternating iteration with appropriate interfacial conditions on the GDL/channel interface to treat the jump nonlinearities in the water equation. Numerical experiments demonstrate that fast convergence as well as accurate numerical solutions are obtained simultaneously owing to the implementation of the above-described numerical techniques along with a combined finite element-upwind finite volume discretization to automatically control the dominant convection terms arising in the gas channel. 相似文献

Significant enlargements of antidot diameter by Ar-ion milling were observed in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+y single-crystal films with antidot arrays as well as the thinning of the films. In an original sample with triangular array of antidots, whose diameter is about 200 nm, a few dip structures by the matching effect were observed in the vortex-flow resistance as a function of magnetic field. With increasing the milling time, the number of the dips increases and the appearance of the flow resistance becomes periodic oscillations. These features can be explained mainly by the increase of the antidot diameter. 相似文献

The surface acoustic waves (SAWs) technique is becoming an attractive tool for accurately and nondestructively characterizing the mechanical property of the brittle low dielectric constant (low-k) thin film. The theoretical equations for describing SAWs propagating on the multi-layered structure are derived in this study. The dispersion features of SAWs propagating on different structures of low-k/SiO2/Si substrate, SiO2/low-k/Si substrate, low-k/Si substrate, and low-k/Cu/Si substrate are investigated to instruct an accurate and facile fitting process for determining Young's modulus of low-k films. The dependence of dispersion relation on the film thickness, elastic modulus of low-k materials as well as frequency are provided and discussed in detail. The study shows an obvious influence of layered structure on the dispersion relation of SAWs. For a fixed structure, the dispersion curvature increases with the decrease of Young's modulus of low-k films. 相似文献

The splitting and the lineshape of the satellite transitions of 23Na are measures of the residual quadrupolar interaction and its distribution, which are related to the degrees of order and binding of sodium in biological tissues. However, these transitions are often masked by the stronger signals of the central transition and the isotropic sodium ions. A new family of UV-activated phosphors made by substituting rare-earth activators such as trivalent Eu, Tb, Tm and Er into A(1)3−xA(2)xMO4F host lattices (A(1)/A(2)=Sr, Ca, Ba; M=Al, Ga) are introduced and their activation and emission spectra as well as their CIE values reported. The Tm-substituted system can be activated using light with a wavelength of 360 nm. In this paper, poly(4vinylpyridine-co-styrene) (P(4VP-co-St)) was grafted on silica gel particles in the manner of “grafting from”, and the grafting particle P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2 was gained. The grafting particle P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2 is a novel kind of supports for immobilizing metalloporphyrin catalysts. Then, the immobilization of cobalt tetraphenylporphyrin (CoTPP) on the supports P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2 was carried out via the axial coordination reaction between CoTPP and the pyridine groups of the grafted P(4VP-co-St), resulting in the heterogenised catalysts CoTPP-P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2. The synthesized catalysts were characterized by FTIR and the axial coordination process between CoTPP and the grafted P(4VP-co-St) was confirmed by UV-vis. The effects of various factors on the immobilization reaction of CoTPP were studied in detail. Finally, the catalytic performance of CoTPP-P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2 in the catalytic oxidation process of ethyl benzene was investigated. The experimental results show that the axial coordination reaction is a very easy and novel method for favorably immobilizing CoTPP onto the P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2 surfaces. During the immobilization process of CoTPP on P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2, the most bonding amount of CoTPP (0.19 g/g) is obtained under the lower temperature (5 °C) and the higher concentration of CoTPP(6.0 mg/ml) lasting 4 h. Moreover, the supported catalyst CoTPP-P(4VP-co-St)/SiO2 can effectively activate the dioxygen, and obviously catalyze the transform of ethylbenzene into acetophenone. So it exhibits the fine catalytic activity. 相似文献
