Diosmetin, 5,7,3'-trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone shows chemopreventive, antimutagenic, and antiallergic effects. On the other hand, chrysoeriol, 5,7,4'-trihydroxy-3'-methoxyflavone induced nodABC-lacZ in Rhizobium meliloti. Both of them belong to hydroxymethoxy- flavones. One major difference between diosmetin and chrysoeriol is the substituted position of hydroxyl and methoxyl groups. In order to elucidate the relationships between their structures and activity, one of the first things to be done is the determination of their structures. However, most flavones occur widely in nature, and thus it is difficult to obtain in sufficient amounts from natural sources to identify their structures. Assignments of NMR data of several hydroxymethoxyflavones may help us to identify novel flavonoid compounds isolated from natural sources based on their NMR experiments. Therefore, we report here the complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data of 13 hydroxymethoxyflavones.  相似文献

Two new polymethoxylated flavonoids, 2',5',6'-trimethoxy-[2',3' : 3',4']furano dihydrochalcone and 2,4',4,5-tetramethoxy-[2',3' : 6,7]-furanodihydroaurone, were isolated from the root barks of Lonchocarpus araripensis, along with the known compounds 3,4,5,6-tetramethoxy-[2',3' : 7,8]-furanoflavan, 3,6-dimethoxy-1',1'-dimethylcromene-[2',3' : 7,8]-flavone, 3',4'-methylenodioxy-5,6-dimethoxy-[2',3' : 7,8]-furanoflavone, 3,5,6-trimethoxy-[2',3' : 7,8]-furanoflavanone, 3,5,6-trimethoxy-[2',3' : 7,8]-furanoflavone, and 6alpha-hydroxy-medicarpin. The complete (1)H and (13)C NMR assignments of the new furan flavonoids were performed using 1D and 2D pulse sequences, including COSY, HSQC, and HMBC experiments, and comparison with spectral data for analog compounds from the literature, particularly for the new furanodihydroaurone because of several inconsistencies on the carbonyl chemical shifts from the literature.  相似文献

Complete assignment of 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts and J(1H/1H and 1H/19F) coupling constants for 22 1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazoles' derivates were performed using the concerted application of 1H 1D and 1H, 13C 2D gs‐HSQC and gs‐HMBC experiments. All 1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazoles' derivatives were synthesized as described by Finar and co‐workers. The formylated 1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazoles' derivatives were performed under Duff's conditions. Salens, derived from 1,2‐ethylenediamine and salicylaldehydes, have been widely used as ligands for metal complexes which have been showing enormous potential in chemical properties of asymmetric catalysts as well as biological properties such as anticancer agents. Almost all of the salen–metal complexes with their corresponding metal (II)‐complexes show the evidences of chelation of two oxygens in salens. However, several metal (II) complexes, especially cobalt (II) complexes, could not show NMR spectra due to their paramagnetism. Recently, it has been reported that one of the cobalt (III) complexes was used for NMR spectroscopy to evaluate its stereoselectivity as a catalyst. Even though many salen ligands are known, their NMR data are not assigned completely. It was possible that modification in northern part of salen with 2‐hydroxyphenyl group afforded another oxygen chelation site in salen ligand. Here we report that synthesis and full NMR assignment of new salen ligands, which form meso 1,2‐bis(2‐hydroxyphenyl)ethylenediamine) and their cobalt (III) complexes. The assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data obtained in this experiment can help us to predict the NMR data of other salen ligands. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We describe the complete 1H and 13C NMR analysis of three aryltetralin lignan lactones (polygamain, morelensin and 4,5-dimethoxymorelensin) using modern NMR techniques such as COSY, HMQC, HMBC, 2D-J-resolved and NOE experiments. The relative stereochemistry of these compounds, which is very important with regard to their biological activity, was completely determined.  相似文献

Two new sesquiterpenes, epi‐guaidiol A (1) and sugebiol (3), together with four known sesquiterpenes, guaidiol A(2), sugetriol triacetate (4), cyperenoic acid (5), and cyperotundone (6) were isolated from the rhizomes of Cyperus rotundus L. Their structures were identified by MS and NMR experiments, and the complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data for two new sesquiterpenes were obtained by the aid of two‐dimensional (2D) NMR techniques, including HSQC, HMBC, 1H‐1HCOSY and nuclear overhauser enhancement spectroscopy(NOESY). To find potent new chemotherapy drugs, we designed and synthesized a series of naphthochalcones bearing naphthalenyl‐phenyl‐pyrazoline moieties. Chalcones, intermediates in flavonoid biosynthesis, can exhibit antibacterial, antiproliferative, and anti-inflammatory properties. Chalcones contain two benzene rings and both hydroxylated and methoxylated analogs are frequently produced by hydroxylases and O-methyltransferases in plant biosynthetic pathways. Assignments of NMR peaks in the spectra of hydroxylated and/or methoxylated chalcones can help in identifying novel chalcone derivatives isolated from natural sources by referencing these data against NMR spectra obtained from known chalcones. We report here the syntheses of 20 chalcones and complete assignments of (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra.  相似文献

Two new dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans, named kadoblongifolins A (1) and B (2), and one new natural product dibenzocyclooctadiene lignan, named kadoblongifolin C (3), were isolated from the stems of Kadsura oblongifolia (K. oblongifolia), together with five known ones, schizanrin F (4), propinquanin C (5), schisantherin G (6), heteroclitin Q (7), kadsurarin (8).
