Formation of strongly colored complexes of Cu+ with glyoxal-bis-(N-t-butylimin) (GLI) is observed in acetonitrile. Optical measurements reveal two complexes, Cu(GLI)+ (?max = 26.0 kK, δ = 2800) and Cu(GLI) (?max = 19.3 kK, ε = 8530). The equilibrium constants (0.1M tetraethylammoniumperchlorate) are logK1 = 3.9 and logK2 = 2.5. The equilibrium data are confirmed by potentiometric measurements with a copper electrode. In O-donor solvents, only the 1:2 complex is observed. Cu(GLI)2CIO4 can be crystallized as a dark red solid which is stable towards atmospheric oxygen.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Bei der komplexometrischen Eisen(III)-bestimmung mit biampero-metrischer Indikation kann die Schärfe des Endpunktes durch Zusatz von Mangan wesentlich verbessert und eine direkte Ablesung ermöglicht werden.
Summary In the chelatometric determination of iron(III) with biamperometric indication the sharpness of the end point can be considerably improved by addition of manganese(II) and a direct reading without graphical evaluation is made possible.

Ternary Complexes of Iron(III) with Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid and Derivatives of Monophenols Ternary complexes of iron(III) are investigated with ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid and some monophenols in solution as well as their reactions of formation have been controlled by spectrophotometric and elektrophoretic methods. The ratio of components in the compounds Fe: Y: L is 1: 1: 1 without any exception. The measured optical properties (λmax' ?max) of the complexes are discussed.  相似文献

Manganese(III) manganate(IV), one of the synthetic varieties of the birnessite group, is readily reduced in xylene suspension by cinnamyl alcohol. At moderate temperatures, including room temperature, γ-MnOOH (manganite) forms topotactically in extremely thin needles and is therefore easily overlooked in the X-ray examination. At higher temperatures further reduction occurs (MnIII → MnII), and Mn3O4 (hausmannite) appears in comparatively large, equant cristallites which are less distinctly oriented. For comparison Na4Mn14O27, 9H2O, which has also been investigated, is much more stable than Mn7O13, 5H2O. The same holds for finely divided synthetic varieties of the birnessite group precipitated from KMnO4 solutions; by their behaviour they are related to Na4Mn14O27, 9H2O rather than to Mn7O13, 5 H2O which is consistent with their substantial alkaline ion content. These results raise the question: is the so-called ‘todorokite’ a pure crystal species. According to present data ‘todorokite’ could be regarded as a transition product, i.e. as half decomposed buserite admixed with birnessite and substantial amounts of manganite.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Dreiwertiges Chrom bildet mit m-Nitrobenzamidoxim in alkalischer Lösung einen violettgefärbten Komplex. Dieser wurde mit i-Amylalkohol extrahiert und ist für den Nachweis kleiner Chrommengen geeignet. Die Erfassungsgrenze ist 6g/ml und die Grenzverdünnung 1167000. Störende Ionen sind Co2+, Cd2+ und Ni2+. Die Zusammensetzung des Komplexes entspricht der Formel [Cr(I)3]. Die Komplexbildungskonstante ist logK = 6,65 ± 0,04 bei einer Ionenstärke=0,2.
Detection of chromium(III) with m-nitrobenzamidoxime
Summary Tervalent chromium in alkaline solution yields a violet complex withm-nitrobenzamidoxime. This complex is extracted intoi-amyl alcohol and is suitable for the detection of small amounts of chromium. The detection limit is 6g/ml and the dilution limit is 1 167000. Among the interfering ions are Co2+, Cd2+, and Ni2+. The composition of the complex corresponds to the formula [Cr(I)3]. The formation constant of this complex is logK=6.65±0.04 at an ionic strength=0.2.

Manganese(IV) Complexes with Tridentate Diacidic Ligands. Crystal Structure of Acetyl-acetonato-salicylaldehydebenzoylhydrazonato(2?)-methanol-manganese(III) The manganese(IV) chelates of salicylaldehyde benzoylhydrazone and salicylaldehyde salicylhydrazone were synthesized by ligand exchange reactions using bis(acetylacetonato)manganese(II), tris(acetylacetonato)manganese(III) as well as manganese(III) acetate. The brown complexes show the expected molecular ions in the APCI mass spectra. As an intermediate compound acetyacetonato-salicylaldehydebenzoylhydrazonato(2?)-methanol-manganese(III) was isolated and characterized by X-ray structural analysis. Complexes of Dioxocyanogen (OCN)2 with TiCl4 and ZrCl4 A solution of (OCN)2 was obtained by reaction of AgOCN with Br2 in H2CCl2 at ?70°C. From this the complexes TiCl4(NCO)2 and ZrCl4(NCO)2 were obtained by addition of equimolar amounts of TiCl4 and ZrCl4, respectively. According to the i.r. and Raman spectra, the (NCO)2 ligand is bonded via its N atoms to the metal.  相似文献
