This paper is concerned with solving some structured multi-linear systems, which are called tensor absolute value equations. This kind of absolute value equations is closely related to tensor complementarity problems and is a generalization of the well-known absolute value equations in the matrix case. We prove that tensor absolute value equations are equivalent to some special structured tensor complementary problems. Some sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the existence of solutions for tensor absolute value equations. We also propose a Levenberg-Marquardt-type algorithm for solving some given tensor absolute value equations and preliminary numerical results are reported to indicate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

A new formalism in the theory of linear boundary value problems involving causal functional differential equations is presented. The approach depends on the construction of a differentiable family of boundary problems into which the original boundary value problem is imbedded. The formalism then generates an initial value problem which is equivalent to the family of imbedded problems. An important aspect of the method is that the equations in the initial value algorithm are ordinary differential equations rather than functional differential equations, although nonlinear and of higher dimension. Applications of the theory to differential-delay and difference equations are given.  相似文献

In this paper we give, for the first time, an abstract interpretation of nonlocal boundary value problems for elliptic differential equations of the second order. We prove coerciveness and Fredholmness of nonlocal boundary value problems for the second order elliptic differential-operator equations. We apply then, in section 6, these results for investigation of nonlocal boundary value problems for the second order elliptic differential equations (one can find the references on the subject in the introduction and Chapter V in the book by A. L. Skubachevskii [27]). Abstract results obtained in this paper can be used for study of nonlocal boundary value problems for quasielliptic differential equations.  相似文献

For Volterra integral equations of the third kind and for Volterra-type integrodifferential equations of the third kind, theorems on the existence of solutions in Sobolev spaces (i.e., regular solutions) are proved. The proofs are based on the theory of boundary value problems for degenerate ordinary differential equations and on the theory of boundary value problems for parabolic equations with a changing evolution direction.  相似文献

In this work, we generalize the numerical method discussed in [Z. Avazzadeh, M. Heydari, G.B. Loghmani, Numerical solution of Fredholm integral equations of the second kind by using integral mean value theorem, Appl. math. modelling, 35 (2011) 2374–2383] for solving linear and nonlinear Fredholm integral and integro-differential equations of the second kind. The presented method can be used for solving integral equations in high dimensions. In this work, we describe the integral mean value method (IMVM) as the technical algorithm for solving high dimensional integral equations. The main idea in this method is applying the integral mean value theorem. However the mean value theorem is valid for multiple integrals, we apply one dimensional integral mean value theorem directly to fulfill required linearly independent equations. We solve some examples to investigate the applicability and simplicity of the method. The numerical results confirm that the method is efficient and simple.  相似文献

The boundary value problems for linear and nonlinear degenerate differential-operator equations in Banach-valued Besov spaces are studied. Several conditions for the separability of linear elliptic problems are given. Moreover, the positivity and the analytic semigroup properties of associated differential operators are obtained. By using these results, the maximal regularity of degenerate boundary value problems for nonlinear differential-operator equations is derived. As applications, boundary value problems for infinite systems of degenerate equations in Besov spaces are studied.  相似文献

Reducible quadrature rules generated by boundary value methods are considered in block version and applied to solve the second kind Volterra integral equations and Volterra integro-differential equations. These extended block boundary value methods are shown to possess both excellent stability properties and high accuracy for Volterra-type equations. We examine the bifurcations to positive and sign-changing solutions of degenerate elliptic equations. In the problems we study, which do not represent Fredholm operators, we show that there is a critical parameter value at which an infinity of bifurcations occur from the trivial solution. Moreover, a bifurcation occurs at each point in some unbounded interval in parameter space. We apply our results to non-monotone eigenvalue problems, degenerate semi-linear elliptic equations, boundary value differential-algebraic equations and fully non-linear elliptic equations.

In this paper, we deals with the existence of mild $L$-quasi-solutions to the boundary value problem for a class of semilinear impulsive fractional evolution equations in an ordered Banach space $E$. Under a new concept of upper and lower solutions, a new monotone iterative technique on the initial value problem of impulsive fractional evolution equations has been established. The results improve and extend some relevant results in ordinary differential equations and partial differential equations. In this article, we first transform the general uniformly elliptic systems of first order equations with certain conditions into the complex equations, and propose the discontinuous Riemann- Hilbert problem and its modified well-posedness for the complex equations. Then we give a priori estimates of solutions of the modified discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert problem for the complex equations and verify its solvability. Finally the solvability results of the original discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem can be derived. In the class of distributions of slow (moderate) growth we consider a class of equations with operations of convolution and multiplication on the real axis. This class contains convolution equations, in particular, ordinary differential equations with constant coefficients, equations in finite differences, functional differential equations with constant coefficients and shifts, and pair differential equations. By virtue of the analytic representation theory for distributions of moderate growth (the Hilbert or Cauchy transform) the class of equations under consideration is equivalent to the class of boundary value problems of the Riemann type, where an equation corresponds to a boundary value condition in the sense of distributions of moderate growth. As a research technique we use the Fourier transform, the generalized Fourier transform (the Carleman-Fourier transform), and the theory of convolution equations in the space of distributions of moderate growth.  相似文献

Here given conditions guarantee that maximal regularity and Fredholmness in $L_{p}$ spaces. In this paper, reproducing kernel theorem is employed to solve anti-periodic solutions for Rayleigh-type equations. A simple algorithm is given to obtain the approximate solutions of the equations. By comparing the approximate solution with the exact analytical solution, we find that the simple algorithm is of good accuracy and it can be also applied to some ordinary or partial differential equations with initial-boundary value conditions and nonlocal boundary value conditions.  相似文献
