3,4-Dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-Ones: Fast Synthesis Under Microwave Irradiation in Solvent Free Conditions

Microwave irradiation has been used to accelerate the synthesis of the Biginelli compounds, in one-pot reaction between β-keto esters, aryl aldehydes, and urea. These solvent-free reactions show that it is possible to prepare these compounds in a short time reaction and with good yield and easily isolable.     

The Synthesis of 1,3-bis(Phenylseleno)-2-Propanol Under Microwave Irradiation Conditions

A simple, rapid and efficient method for the synthesis of 1,3-bis(phenylseleno)-2-propanol under microwave irradiation is described.

Microwave Assisted,Solvent Free One Pot Synthesis of Nitriles from Aryl Aldehydes on Melamin Formaldehyde as Solid Support

Various aryl aldehydes underwent prompt one pot conversion into the corresponding nitriles in high yields by reacting with hydroxylamine hydrochloride supported on melamine formaldehyde under microwave irradiation in the presence of ammonium acetate as catalyst.     

Multicomponent Reaction for Synthesis of 2-(Indol-3-yl)pyridine Derivatives Under Microwave Irradiation

A short, practical, and efficient preparation of 2-(indol-3-yl)pyridine derivatives via a one-pot procedure of 3-cyanoacetylindole, chalcones, and ammonium acetate under microwave irradiation was described. All these compounds were obtained in good yield, and their structures were confirmed by ¹H NMR, infrared, and elementary analysis.

Amide Hydrolysis Reaction Catalyzed by KF/Al2O3 under Microwave Irradiation and Solvent Free Conditions

A microwave‐enhanced hydrolysis of amides utilizing KF/Al₂O₃ in the absence of solvents has been developed. Amines are produced in excellent yields along with the corresponding carboxylic acids.

An Efficient One-Pot Synthesis of Nitriles from Carboxylic Acids Without Solvent Under Microwave Irradiation

Nitriles were prepared from alkyl and aryl carboxylic acids in dry media conditions, under microwave irradiation. Heating of the carboxylic acid, urea and amidosulfonic acid adsorbed on alumina support in a microwave oven affords nitriles in 20–93% yields.     

A Convenient One-Pot Synthesis of Some New 3-(2-Phenyl-6-(2-thienyl)-4-pyridyl)hydroquinolin-2-ones Under Microwave Irradiation and Their Antimicrobial Activities

A series of 3-(2-phenyl-6-(2-thienyl)-4-pyridyl)hydroquinolin-2-ones 4a–o were synthesized in high yields by a one–pot cyclocondensation reaction under Kröhnke's reaction conditions using 2-chloro-3-formyl quinoline 1a–c, 2-acetyl thiophene 2, and various N-phenacylpyridinium bromides 3a–e in a mixture of ammonium acetate and acetic acid by microwave irradiation. All the compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, ¹H NMR, and ¹³C NMR spectral analysis. These compounds have been screened for their antimicrobial activities.

One Pot Synthesis of 3-Aryl, 4-Methyl 2(5H)-Furanones

A series of 3-aryl, 4-methyl 2(5H)-furanones variably subtituted in the phenyl ring were conveniently prepared in one pot in good yields from the corresponding phenylacetic acid derivatives and chloroacetone.     

3-取代-4(3H)-喹唑啉酮在酸性离子液体中的一锅法、微波辅助合成

研究以二种基于磺酸基官能团的Brфnsted酸性功能化离子液体:1-(4-磺酸基)苄基-3-甲基咪唑硫酸氢盐(a),N-(4-磺酸基)苄基吡啶硫酸氢根盐(b)作为反应介质与催化剂,2-氨基苯甲酸、原甲酸酯或甲酸、芳香胺或脂肪胺三组分为原料,在微波辐射下实现了3-取代-4(3H)-喹唑啉酮的一锅法快速合成.离子液体加入量10 mo1%,反应时间4～6min,目标化合物产率74%～94%.离子液体可循环使用3次,催化活性基本保持不变.此合成方法通用性强,3-位可引入芳基或烷基取代基,取代基电性效应小,拉电子取代基底物也可顺利反应.另外,反应可直接以85%甲酸作为C-2引入单元,目标化合物产率72%～91%.     

3-甲基吡啶的微波液相法合成

在液相条件下,采用微波协助合成3-甲基吡啶（1）,其结构经GC-MS确证。研究了碳源(甘油、丙烯醛二甲缩醛和丙烯醛二乙缩醛)、氨源(硫酸亚铁铵、乙酸铵和氨水)、固体催化剂用量和溶剂(水、离子液体、二乙二醇甲醚、乙二醇丁醚和二甲基亚砜)对1合成反应的影响。结果表明：丙烯醛是重要的中间产物;在多相催化体系下,1收率最高可达到19.8%。

Summary.  The three-component condensation of benzaldehyde derivatives, alkyl propiolates, and primary amines catalyzed by silica gel, zeolite HY, montmorillonite K-10, and acidic alumina under microwave irradiation gave N-substituted 4-aryl-1,4-dihydropyridines in short reaction times and high yields.
