To probe the correlation of unusual (C5Me5)(1-) reactivity with steric crowding in complexes such as (C5Me5)3UMe and (C5Me5)3UCl, slightly less crowded (C5Me5)2(C5Me4H)UX analogues (X = Me, Cl) were synthesized and their reactivity was evaluated. The utility of the cationic precursors [(C5Me5)2UMe](1+), 1, and [(C5Me5)2UCl](1+), 2, in the synthesis of (C5Me5)2(C5Me4H)UMe, 3, and (C5Me5)2(C5Me4H)UCl, 4, was also explored. Since the use of precursor [(C5Me5)2UMe][MeBPh3], 1a, is complicated by the equilibrium between 1a and (C5Me5)2UMe2/BPh3, the reactivity of [(C5Me5)2UMe(OTf)]2, 1b, (OTf = O3SCF3) prepared from (C5Me5)2UMe2 and AgOTf, was also studied. Both 1a and 1b react with KC5Me4H to form 3. Complex 4 readily forms by addition of KC5Me4H to [(C5Me5)2UCl][MeBPh3], generated in situ from (C5Me5)2UMeCl and BPh3. Complex 1b was preferred to 1a for the synthesis of (C5Me5)2(C5H5)UMe, 5, and (C5Me5)2UMe[CH(SiMe3)2], 6, from KC5H5 and LiCH(SiMe3)2, respectively. Complex 6 is the first example of a mixed alkyl uranium metallocene complex. Sterically induced reduction (SIR) reactivity was not observed with 3-6 although the methyl displacements from the (C5Me5)(1-) ring plane for 3 are the closest observed to date to those of SIR-active complexes. The (1)H NMR spectra of 3 and 4 are unusual in that all of the (C5Me4H)(1-) methyl groups are inequivalent. This structural rigidity is consistent with density-functional theory calculations.  相似文献

The reaction of [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))ZrF(3)] and [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))HfF(3)] with Me(3)SiOCOCF(3) yields the dinuclear complexes [{(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))ZrF(OCOCF(3))(2)}(2)] (1) and [{(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))HfF(OCOCF(3))(2)}(2)] (2), regardless of the molar ratio employed. [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)ZrF(2)] reacts with 1 and 2 equiv of Me(3)SiOCOCF(3) to form the mononuclear compounds [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)Zr(OCOCF(3))(2)] (3) and [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)ZrF(OCOCF(3))] (4), respectively. The molecular structures of 1 and 3 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis: 1, triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 9.508(3) ?, b = 11.002(4) ?, c = 17.528(3) ?, alpha = 78.55(4), beta = 76.80(2), gamma = 87.51(2) degrees, V = 1750(1) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.0378; 3, monoclinic, C2/c, a = 18.553(4) ?, b = 9.110(2) ?, c = 16.323(3) ?, beta = 114.88(3) degrees, V = 2503(1) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.0457. Compound 1 shows bridging bidentate and chelating carboxylate ligands as well as bridging fluorine atoms. The zirconium atoms are seven coordinated and have an 18-electron configuration. X-ray studies of 3 reveal two structural components where the carboxylate ligands coordinate in a monodentate (major component) and a chelating manner (minor component).  相似文献

The hydrogenation of 2′, 3′-O-isopropylidene-5-methyluridine (1) in water over 5% Rh/Al2O3 gave (5 R)- and (5 S)-5-methyl-5, 6-dihydrouridine (2) , separated as 5′-O-(p-tolylsulfonyl)- (3) and 5′-O-benzoyl- (5) derivatives by preparative TLC. on silica gel and ether/hexane developments. The diastereoisomeric differentiation at the C(5) chiral centre depends upon the reaction media and the nature of the protecting group attached to the ribosyl moiety. The synthesis of iodo derivatives (5 R)- and (5 S)- 4 is also described. The diastereoisomers 4 were converted into (5 R)- and (5 S)-2′, 3′,-O-isopropylidene-5-methyl-2, 5′-anhydro-5, 6-dihydrouridine (7) .  相似文献

Variable-energy valence and inner-valence photoelectron spectra have been recorded for the CpNiNO complex (Cp = eta(5)-C(5)H(5)) between 21.2 and 100 eV, using He I radiation and synchrotron radiation. The ground state electronic structure has been calculated by using the Xalpha-SW method. Photoionization cross sections (sigma) have also been calculated for the valence ionizations using the Xalpha-SW method. The theoretical branching ratios (sigma(i)/ summation operatorsigma) have been compared with the observed branching ratios (A(i)()/ summation operatorA) between 21.2 and 100 eV. The assignment of the photoelectron spectrum based on the analysis of intensity variations and width of vibrational peaks is consistent with the ion state orbital ordering 5e(1)(1) < 7a(1)(2) < 3e(2)(3) < 4e(1)(4) (band numbers are in parentheses) and is inconsistent with another recently proposed ordering 5e(1)(1), 5e(1)(2) < 7a(1), 3e(2)(3) < 4e(1)(4), which takes the 5e(1) vibronic effects into consideration. The experimental branching ratio results indicate a Ni 3p resonance effect around 75 eV in the photoionization process. The inner-valence spectrum has also been assigned with the aid of the Xalpha-SW calculations.  相似文献

Two new complexes of imidazole alcohols, 4-hydroxymethylimidazole (4-CH2OHim) and 4-hydroxymethyl-5-methylimidazole (4-CH2OH-5-CH3im), with cobalt(II) of formula [CoL2(H2O)2](NO3)2 were obtained. These compounds were described through single X-ray diffraction studies, spectroscopic (Ir. Far-IR, UV-Vis-NIR) and magnetic measurements. In the present complexes imidazole ligands are bidentate coordinating the heterocyclic ring through pyridine-like nitrogen and the oxygen atom of the hydroxymethyl group (chromophore CoN2O4). The shape of Co(II) coordination polyhedra is that of a distorted octahedron, with the equatorial plane defined by the 4-CH2OHim (or 4-CH2OH-5-CH3im) bidentate ligands and two water molecules occupying axial positions (i.e. trans to each other). Formation of successive cobalt(II) complexes with 4-CH2OH-5-CH3im in aqueous solution was followed quantitatively by potentiometry.  相似文献

4-Cyano-1-(2,3,5-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-ribofuranosyl)-5-methylimidazole ( 4 ) and its corresponding 5-cyano-4-methyl substituted isomer ( 5 ) have been obtained by ribosylation of 4(5)-cyano-5(4)-methylimidazole ( 3 ) via the mercuric cyanide method or by ribosylation of the trimethylsilyl derivative of 3 . Treatment of 4 with methanolic ammonia, ammonium chloride in liquid ammonia and potassium hydrosulfide provided 4-cyano-1-β-D-ribofuranosyl-5-methylimidazole ( 6 ), 1-β-D-ribofuranosyl-5-methylimidazole-4-carboxamide ( 2 ) and 1-β-D-ribofuranosyl-5-methylimidazole-4-thiocarboxamide ( 11 ) respectively. Reaction of 6 with hydroxylamine afforded the corresponding 4-carboxamidoxime substituted nucleoside ( 13 ) which on catalytic reduction in the presence of ammonium chloride, was transformed into 1-β-D-ribofuranosyl-5-methylimidazole-4-carboxamidine ( 14 ) as hydrochloride salt.  相似文献

The reactions of elemental indium and In(I)Br with the carbonyl-free organonickel complexes (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PR(3))Ni-Br (R = CH(3), C(6)H(5)) have been studied in some detail. Either redox reactions to yield the ionic products [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PR(3))(2)Ni][InBr(4)] (2a,b) occurred or the Ni-In bound systems (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni-InBr(2)(OPPh(3)) (3a) and [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni](2)InBr (4) were obtained in good yields. The new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, and mass spectrometry. A short Ni-In bond of 244.65(9) pm was found for 3a. Single crystal data for (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni-InBr(2)(OPPh(3)).THF (3a): triclinic, P1 with a = 1124.9(3), b = 1353.2(4), c = 1476.4(4) pm, alpha = 94.74(2) degrees, beta = 101.78(2) degrees, gamma = 109.64(1) degrees, V = 2044(1) x 10(6) pm(3), Z = 2, R = 0.053 (R(w) = 0.063).  相似文献

4(5)-Sulfonyl chlorides, which were converted to the corresponding sulfamoyl derivatives, were obtained from the amide and ethyl ester of 4(5)-mercaptoimidazole-5(4)-carboxylic acid by oxidative chlorination. 5-Diazoimidazole-4-carboxazide was isolated in the diazotization of 5(4)-aminoimidazole-4(5)-carboxhydrazide. The diazotization of N-substituted hydrazides of 5(4)-aminoimidazole-4(5)-carboxylic acis was studied. Hydrothermal reactions in the V(2)O(5)-SeO(2)-AOH systems (A = Na, K, Rb, Cs, NH(4)) were studied with various reagent mole ratios. Typical millimole ratios were V(2)O(5)/SeO(2)/AOH = 5 or 3/15/x in 10-mL aqueous solutions, where x was 5, 10, 15, and 20. The reactions with x = 5 for A = K, Rb, Cs, and NH(4) at 230 degrees C produced single-phase products of the general formula AV(3)Se(2)O(12) with the (NH(4))(VO)(3)(SeO(3))(2) structure type. The x = 15 reactions for A = Rb and Cs yielded AVSeO(5) phases with a new structure type. The crystal structure for CsVSeO(5) was determined with X-ray single-crystal diffraction techniques to be monoclinic (P2(1) (No. 4), a = 7.887(3) ?, b = 7.843(2) ?, c = 9.497(3) ?, beta = 92.13(3) degrees, Z = 4). The structure of this compound consists of interwoven helixes extended in all three directions. The spires are composed of alternating SeO(3) and VO(5) units sharing common-edge oxygens in all three directions. For A = K and NH(4), the reactions of this mole ratio did not produce any identifiable phases. Each of the compounds is characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopic, and thermogravimetric techniques. The dependency of the synthesis results on the reaction conditions is discussed and rationalized.  相似文献

The corresponding 5(4)-mercaptoimidazoles, from which various 5(4)-mercaptoimidazole-4(5)-carboxylic acid derivatives were synthesized, were obtained from the amide and ethyl ester of 5-diazoimidazole-4-carboxylic acid by substitution of the diazo group. 5-Diazo-imidazole-4-hydroxamic acid does not undergo substitution with sodium disulfide but does undergo cyclization to 3-N-hydroxyimidazo[4,5-d]-1,2,3-triazin-4-one under these conditions. To model the Ti-olefin interaction in the putative [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(R')(olefin)(+) intermediates in "constrained geometry" Ti-catalyzed olefin polymerization, chelated alkoxide olefin complexes [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))(+) have been investigated. The reaction of [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]TiMe(2) (1a,b; R = H, Me) with HOCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2) yields mixtures of [eta(5)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)NH(t)Bu]TiMe(2)(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2)) (2a,b) and [eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]TiMe(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2)) (3a,b). The reaction of 2a/3a and 2b/3b mixtures with B(C(6)F(5))(3) yields the chelated olefin complexes [[eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)R(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))][MeB(C(6)F(5))(3)] (4a,b; 71 and 89% NMR yield). The reaction of 2b/3b with [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] yields [[eta(5): eta(1)-C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu]Ti(OCMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] (5b, 88% NMR yield). NMR studies establish that 4a,b and 5b exist as mixtures of diastereomers (isomer ratios: 4a/4a', 62/38; 4b/4b', 75/25; 5b/5b', 75/25), which differ in the enantioface of the olefin that is coordinated. NMR data for these d(0) metal olefin complexes show that the olefin coordinates to Ti in an unsymmetrical fashion primarily through C(term) such that the C=C pi bond is polarized with positive charge buildup on C(int). Dynamic NMR studies show that 4b/4b' undergoes olefin face exchange by a dissociative mechanism which is accompanied by fast inversion of configuration at Ti ("O-shift") in the olefin-dissociated intermediate. The activation parameters for the conversion of 4b to 4b' (i.e., 4b/4b' face exchange) are: DeltaH = 17.2(8) kcal/mol; DeltaS = 8(1) eu. 4a/4a' also undergoes olefin face exchange but with a lower barrier (DeltaH = 12.2(9) kcal/mol; DeltaS = -2(3) eu), for the conversion of 4a to 4a'.  相似文献

Studies directed at the synthesis of (Z)-5-benzylidene-4-arylpyrrol-2(5H)-ones from (Z)-3-aryl-3-haloenoic acids are described. The successful strategy relies on the preparation of (Z)-3-aryl-3-haloenoic acids from acetophenones through the corresponding (Z)-3-aryl-3-haloenals and the conversion of the (Z)-3-aryl-3-haloenoic acids to (Z)-5-benzylidene-4-aryl-5H-furan-2-ones. The furanones were subsequently treated with primary amines and dehydrated to the corresponding (Z)-5-benzylidene-4-arylpyrrol-2(5H)-ones.  相似文献

Reaction of the 17-electron radical (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* (Cp* = C(5)Me(5)) with 0.5 equiv of 2-aminophenyl disulfide [(o-H(2)NC(6)H(4))(2)S(2)] results in rapid oxidative addition to form the initial product (o-H(2)N)C(6)H(4)S-Cr(CO)(3)Cp*. Addition of a second equivalent of (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* to this solution results in the formation of H-Cr(CO)(3)Cp* as well as (1)/(2)[[eta(2)-o-(mu-NH)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2). Spectroscopic data show that (o-H(2)N)C(6)H(4)S-Cr(CO)(3)Cp* loses CO to form [eta(2)-(o-H(2)N)C(6)H(4)S]Cr(CO)(2)Cp*. Attack on the N-H bond of the coordinated amine by (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* provides a reasonable mechanism consistent with the observation that both chelate formation and oxidative addition of the N-H bond are faster under argon than under CO atmosphere. The N-H bonds of uncoordinated aniline do not react with (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp*. Reaction of the 2 mol of (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* with 1,2-benzene dithiol [1,2-C(6)H(4)(SH)(2)] yields the initial product (o-HS)C(6)H(4)S-Cr(CO)(3)Cp and 1 mol of H-Cr(CO)(3)Cp*. Addition of 1 equiv more of (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp to this solution also results in the formation of 1 equiv of H-Cr(CO)(3)Cp*, as well as the dimeric product (1)/(2)[[eta(2)-o-(mu-S)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2). This reaction also occurs more rapidly under Ar than under CO, consistent with intramolecular coordination of the second thiol group prior to oxidative addition. The crystal structures of [[eta(2)-o-(mu-NH)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2) and [[eta(2)-o-(mu-S)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2) are reported.  相似文献
