One-electron reduction of 9, 10-anthraquinone, 1-amino-9, 10-anthraquinone and 1-hydroxy-9, 10-anthraquinone in aqueous-isopropanol-acetone mixed solvent: A pulse radiolysis study

The semiquinone radicals produced by one-electron reduction of 9, 10-anthraquinone, 1-amino-9, 10-anthraquinone and 1-hydroxy-9, 10-anthraquinone have been characterized in aqueous-organic mixed solvent comprising of 30.2 mol dm⁻³ water, 5 mol dm⁻³ isopropanol and 1 mol dm⁻³ acetone, using the pulse radiolysis technique. Spectroscopic characteristics, the kinetic parameters of formation and decay and one acid dissociation constants of the semiquinones and one-electron reduction potentials of the quinones have been estimated. The characteristics of the present semiquinone systems have been compared with those of other similar systems. The observed differences in characteristics of the semiquinones due to different substitutions have been analysed.     

10-methyl-9-phosphaanthracene

The synthesis of 10-methyl-9-phosphaanthracene (1b) is described. Its stability is found to be intermediate between that of the unsubstituted parent compound (1a) and of the 10-phenyl derivative (1c). The electronic structure of this new phosphaaromatic system is studied, especially by photoelectron spectroscopy. As inductive and/or conjugative effects of the substituents are shown to be of minor importance, it is concluded that mainly steric effects stabilize the 9-phosphaanthracene system.     

反式-9, 10-二氢-9, 10-二(1-萘基)-9, 10-菲二醇的包合现象 与晶体结构

按文献方法合成了一个螯形主体分子,反式-9,10-二氢-9,10-二(1-萘基)-9,10-菲二醇。研究发现该主体可以和一些含氮杂环化合物形成一定比例的晶体包合物。用X-射线衍射分析二环己胺包合物的晶体结构表明,包合物中主客体之间存在O-H…N氢键相互作用,客体分子包合在主体分子形成的空腔中。     

10,10-二吡啶甲基-9,10-二氢蒽的合成研究

蒽酮1和氯甲基吡啶盐酸盐2在甲苯中回流反应生成10,10-二吡啶甲基-9(10H)蒽酮(3),收率63％～68％;3用硼氢化钠还原生成10,10-二吡啶甲基-9,l0-二氢蒽-9-醇(4),收率87％～90％;蒽醇4在酸催化下发生歧化反应,得到还原产物10,10-二吡啶甲基-9,10-二氢蒽(5)和氧化产物蒽酮3.该歧化反应受催化剂、溶剂和反应温度等影响.当蒽醇4用三氟化硼为催化剂、甲苯为溶剂、回流反应,5的收率达到74％.所合成的新化合物都经1H NMR,13C NMR,MS和元素分析表征确认.     

反式9, 10-二氢-9, 10-二苯基-9, 10-菲二醇包结性能的研究

合成了一种具有螯形结构的反式-9, 10-二氢-9, 10-二苯基-9,10-菲二醇(1)作为主体分子。它能与许多有机小分子化合物, 诸如DMF, DMSO, 吡啶, 哌啶, 喹啉, 异喹啉等形成包结化合物。本文还报道了这些包结化合物的IR, 粉末XRD的表征, 用^1H NMR谱测定了它们的分子摩尔比。DMF包结物的单晶四圆X衍射结果表明主体分子1与客体分子形成的包结物为配位笼状包合物。     

Oxa-TriQuinoline: A New Entry to Aza-Oxa-Crown Architectures**

A new 15-membered-macrocyclic molecular entity, oxa-TriQuinoline (o-TQ), was designed and synthesized. In o-TQ, three oxygen atoms were joined onto three quinoline units at the 2- and 8-positions in a head-to-tail fashion by three-fold S_NAr reactions, giving rise to the characteristic N₃O₃ aza-oxa-crown architecture. o-TQ can serve as a new tridentate nitrogen ligand to capture a Cu^I cation and adopt a bowl shape, before supramolecular complexation with corannulene and [12]cycloparaphenylene (CPP) occurs through π–π and CH–π interactions. In the presence of the Cu^I cation, the non-emissive o-TQ becomes a highly emissive material in the solid state, whereby the emission wavelengths depend on the ancillary ligand on the Cu^I cation. The o-TQ/Cu^I complex is able to promote carbene catalysis to provide a range of enamines with a gem-difluorinated terminus.
