Chlorination of Calix[4]arene Derivatives

New convenient method for synthesis of p-chlorinated calix[4]arenes is reported. The sulfuryl chloride was used for chlorination of unsubstituted at the lower rim calix[4]arenes. The products of this reaction were very suitable for further O-alkylation.

控制反应物的物质的量比, 杯式对叔丁基杯[4]-1,3-二乙酸乙酯衍生物1与5或50倍二乙烯三胺反应, 分别得到杯[4]氮杂冠醚2和开链的氮杂杯[4]芳烃衍生物3. 化合物2和3进一步与异硫氰酸苯酯反应得到首例侧链含硫脲基的套索杯[4]氮杂冠醚4和含4个硫脲基的杯[4]芳烃衍生物5, 产率为92%和87%. 新化合物的结构与构象经元素分析、红外、质谱、核磁共振谱等表征证实.

Synthesis of Calix[4]arene Derivatives with NLO Properties

The new chromophore compounds with NLO properties were prepared by Knoevenagel condensation from forrnyl or diformyl calix[4/arene and isophorone derivatives in the presence of piperidine and acetic acid, respectively. In these chromophore calix[4]arenes, the ring locked trienes were employed as the conjugation bridge and electron acceptor in D-π-A units. The NMR spectra demonstrated that they existed in a cone conformation and consequently non-conjugated D-π-A units could be oriented at nearly the same direction.

Synthesis of Flavin–Calix[4]arene Conjugate Derivatives

The synthesis of two new flavin substituted calix[4]arene derivatives, 9 and 10 , is described. The first flavin substituted calix[4]arene derivative 9 was synthesized by the reaction of 3‐methylalloxazine ( 5 ) with 25,27‐bis(3‐bromopropoxy)‐26,28‐dihydroxy‐5,11,17,23‐tetra(tert‐butyl)calix[4]arene ( 4 ) in high yield (92%). The other derivative 10 was prepared from 3‐methylalloxazine‐1‐acetic acid ( 7 ) and 25,27‐bis(3‐cyanopropoxy)calix[4]arene ( 3 ). All new compounds were characterized by a combination of FT‐IR and ¹H‐NMR spectroscopy, and elemental‐analysis techniques.

对叔丁基杯[4]芳烃-1,3-二醛基衍生物1与水杨酰肼、烟酰肼、异烟酰肼反应, 合成了具有开链结构新型杯[4]多重氮杂衍生物2a～2c, 产率分别为88%, 85%和90%. 化合物1与乙二酰肼、丙二酰肼、己二酰肼反应, 得到具有桥联结构的新型杯[4]多重氮杂衍生物3a～3c, 产率分别为86%, 89%和90%. 新化合物的结构经元素分析、质谱、核磁共振谱等表征证实, 杯[4]芳烃单元均为1,3-取代且采取锥式构象.     

杯[4]芳烃黄原酸酯衍生物的合成与阳离子萃取性能

以二氧六环作溶剂, 杯[4]芳烃二甲氧基二羟乙氧基衍生物2与氢氧化钾、二硫化碳作用合成了杯芳烃黄原酸盐衍生物3, 并进一步与碘甲烷或氯化苄反应首次合成了含黄原酸酯基的杯芳烃衍生物4a和4b. 阳离子萃取试验表明该新型杯芳烃衍生物比单硫杂杯芳烃衍生物具有更好的过渡金属离子萃取性能.     

硫、硒杯[4]芳烃萃取银

以5,11,17,23-四（1,1-二甲基乙基）-25,27-二羟基-26,28-二[（2-乙基硫）乙氧基]杯[4]芳烃（1）和5,11,17,23-四（1,1-二甲基乙基）-25,27-二羟-26,28-二[（2-乙基硒）]乙氧基杯[4]芳烃（2）为萃取剂,研究了在弱酸性条件下杯芳烃衍生物与银的络合行为。杯芳烃衍生物与银形成1：1萃取络合物,在大量碱金属、碱土金属、常见过渡金属离子存在下,对银离子有很高的萃取率和选择性。     

Two Novel Self-Assemblies of the Calix[4]arene Derivatives and Their Structures

Two newly identified supramolecule structures arise from self-assembly of theCalix[4]arenes derivatives 1 and 2: one ethyl ester of 1 (or 2) enters into the cavity of another 1 (or 2) forming a 1D long chain structure. The interaction force of the molecules and the crystallization energy might be an important driving force for forming theself-assembled calix[4]arene. Supplementary Data relating to this article (atomic coordinates, hydrogen coordinates, isotropic displacement parameters, anisotropic displacement parameters, selected geometrical parameters and observed and calculated structure factors) are deposited in the British Library.     

新型杯芳烃为载体的铅离子选择电极

报道了5,11,17,23-四（1,1-二甲基乙基）-25,27-二羟基-26,28-二[（2-丙酰胺）乙氧基]杯[4]芳烃1的合成及以此化合物为载体研制了PVC膜铅离子选择电极。研究了不同极性的膜增塑剂和亲脂性阴离子位点对铅离子选择电极响应性能的影响,测定了铅离子选择电极的性能。铅离子选择电极对铅离子表现出优良的能斯特响应和高选择性,能在pH4.0-6.5的范围内使用,该电极可作为电位滴定的指示电极。

Syntheses of Chiral Calix [4] arene Derivatives Bearing Amino Acid Residue

The syntheses of chirai calix[4]arene derivatives bearing amino acid residue at the lower rim or upper rim by three different methods were reported.     

Synthesis of Oligomer and Styrene Polymer-supported Calix[4]arene Derivatives and Selective Extraction of Fe3+

Five new polymeric compounds containing more than one calix[4]arene have been synthesized by reacting an oligomer with 5,11,17,23-tetrakis[(diethylamino)methyl]-25,26,27,28-tetrahydroxycalix[4]arene (L1), 25,27-dimethyl-26,28-dihydroxy-p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene diketone (L2), and p-nitrocalix[4]arene (L3), and chloromethylated polystyrene with 25,27-dimethyl-26,28-dihydroxy-p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene diketone (L4) and p-nitrocalix[4]arene (L5). These compounds were studied by the selective extraction of Fe³⁺ cation from the aqueous phase into the organic phase and was carried out by using compounds L1–L5. It was observed that the polymer support attached to the lower rim of p-nitrocalix[4]arene was the most efficient carrier of Fe³⁺ in the extraction process.     

Syntheses and Properties of New Pendant‐armed Calix[4]arene Derivatives as Cesium Selective Ionophore

Two new pendant‐armed calix[4]arene derivatives 5 and 6 have been synthesized. The study of alkali metal picrates extraction indicates that both compounds show preference of cesium cation, compound 6 in 1,3‐alternate conformation has better extractibility for Cs⁺ than compound 5. The coordination behavior of compound 6 with cesium cation was studied by ¹H NMR spectroscopy. The Cs⁺ selective electrode based on compound 6 exhibits a linear, near Nernstian response characteristics, the slope is 56.4 mV/decade in me concentration range of 10^?4—10^?1 mol/L, the selectivity coefficient (logK^pot_Cs.Na) is ?3.39.
