New isocyanide ligands with meta‐terphenyl backbones were synthesized. 2,6‐Bis[3,5‐bis(trimethylsilyl)phenyl]‐4‐methylphenyl isocyanide exhibited the highest rate acceleration in rhodium‐catalyzed hydrosilylation among other isocyanide and phosphine ligands tested in this study. 1H NMR spectroscopic studies on the coordination behavior of the new ligands to [Rh(cod)2]BF4 indicated that 2,6‐bis[3,5‐bis(trimethylsilyl)phenyl]‐4‐methylphenyl isocyanide exclusively forms the biscoordinated rhodium–isocyanide complex, whereas less sterically demanding isocyanide ligands predominantly form tetracoordinated rhodium–isocyanide complexes. FTIR and 13C NMR spectroscopic studies on the hydrosilylation reaction mixture with the rhodium–isocyanide catalyst showed that the major catalytic species responsible for the hydrosilylation activity is the Rh complex coordinated with the isocyanide ligand. DFT calculations of model compounds revealed the higher affinity of isocyanides for rhodium relative to phosphines. The combined effect of high ligand affinity for the rhodium atom and the bulkiness of the ligand, which facilitates the formation of a catalytically active, monoisocyanide–rhodium species, is proposed to account for the catalytic efficiency of the rhodium–bulky isocyanide system in hydrosilylation.  相似文献

Five monophosphine‐substituted diiron propane‐1,2‐dithiolate complexes as the active site models of [FeFe]‐hydrogenases have been synthesized and characterized. Reactions of complex [Fe2(CO)6{μ‐SCH2CH(CH3)S}] ( 1 ) with a monophosphine ligand tris(4‐methylphenyl)phosphine, diphenyl‐2‐pyridylphosphine, tris(4‐chlorophenyl)phosphine, triphenylphosphine, or tris(4‐fluorophenyl)phosphine in the presence of the oxidative agent Me3NO·2H2O gave the monophosphine‐substituted diiron complexes [Fe2(CO)5(L){μ‐SCH2CH(CH3)S}] [L = P(4‐C6H4CH3)3, 2 ; Ph2P(2‐C5H4N), 3 ; P(4‐C6H4Cl)3, 4 ; PPh3, 5 ; P(4‐C6H4F)3, 6 ] in 81%–94% yields. Complexes 2 – 6 have been characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopy, and X‐ray crystallography. In addition, electrochemical studies revealed that these complexes can catalyze the reduction of protons to H2 in the presence of HOAc.  相似文献

Two types of imidazoliophosphane with additional electron‐withdrawing substituents, such as alkoxy or imidazolio groups, are experimentally described and theoretically studied. Diethyl N,N′‐2,4,6‐methyl(phenyl)imidazoliophosphonite is shown to retain a P‐coordinating ability toward a {RhCl(cod)} (cod=cycloocta‐1,5‐diene) center, thus competing with the cleavage of the labile C? P bond. Derivatives of N,N′‐phenylene‐bridged diimidazolylphenylphosphane were isolated in good yield. Whereas the dicationic phosphane proved to be inert in the presence of [{RhCl(cod)}2], the monocationic counterpart was shown to retain the P‐coordinating ability toward a {RhCl(cod)} center, thus competing with the N‐coordinating ability of the nonmethylated imidazolyl substituent. The ethyl phosphinite version of the dication, thus possessing an extremely electron‐poor PIII center, was also characterized. According to the difference between the calculated homolytic and heterolytic dissociation energies, the N2C???P bond of imidazoliophosphanes with aryl, amino, or alkoxy substituents on the P atom is shown to be of dative nature. The P‐coordinating properties of imidazoliophosphanes with various combinations of phenyl or ethoxy substituents on the P atom and those of six diimidazolophosphane derivatives with zero, one, or two methylium substituents on the N atom, were analyzed by comparison of the corresponding HOMOs and LUMOs and by calculation of the IR C?O stretching frequencies of their [RhCl(CO)2] complexes. Comparison of the νCO values allows the family of the electron‐poor Im+PRR′ (Im=imidazolyl) potential ligands to be ranked in the following order versus (R,R′): P(OEt)3<(Ph,Ph)<(Ph,OEt)<(OEt,OEt)<PF3<(Ph,Im)<(Ph,Im+)<(OEt,Im+). The (Ph,Im) representative is therefore the least electron‐donating phosphane for which coordinating behavior toward a RhI center has been experimentally evidenced to date. Ultimate applications in catalysis could be envisaged.  相似文献

An oxygen atom is selectively inserted into the P?B bond of a borylphosphine ( L1 ) by reaction with Me3NO to afford the corresponding borylphosphinite ( L2 ). This transformation can also be effected when L1 is coordinated to rhodium. The ν(CO) values for trans‐[RhCl(CO)(L)2] reveal very different electronic properties for coordinated L1 and L2 which translate into the strikingly different performances of the complexes [RhCl(L)(cod)] (L= L1 or L2 , cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene) in hydrosilylation and hydroboration catalysis.  相似文献

Only [RuCl2(p‐cymene)(PR3)] complexes where the phosphine ligand, PR3, is both strongly basic and bulky proved to be effective catalysts for the controlled atom transfer radical polymerisation (ATRP) of methyl methacrylate and styrene. The best phosphine ligands were typically P(i‐Pr)3, P(cyclohexyl)2Ph, P(cyclohexyl)3, and P(cyclopentyl)3. Less basic and/or bulky phosphines led to ineffective systems for ATRP. Tricyclohexylarsine gave rise to a highly efficient catalyst system. However, related complexes in which the phosphine ligand was replaced by tricyclohexylstibine, nitrogen (piperidine and 4‐cyanopyridine) and carbon ligands (alkyl isocyanides) proved to be inefficient. The observation of a direct relationship between the p‐cymene lability (measured by TGA) and catalyst activity suggests that p‐cymene release is a prerequisite for the polymerisation process.  相似文献

The crystal structure of a prospective olefin catalyst, namely {2‐[1‐acetyl‐5‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐4‐phenyl‐1,2,4‐diazaphospholan‐3‐yl]phenyl acetate‐κP}chloro(η4‐cycloocta‐1,5‐diene)rhodium(I) dichloromethane solvate, [RhCl(C8H12)(C24H23N2O4P)]·CH2Cl2, has been determined at 173 K. The five‐membered heterocycle of the phosphine ligand is in a slightly distorted twist conformation. An intramolecular N1—H1⃛Cl1 hydrogen bond contributes to the adopted conformation and may additionally participate in secondary interactions with substrates during catalysis.  相似文献

The title compound, [RuH(C6H8BN4)(C21H21P)2(CO)], possesses two trans‐disposed tri‐p‐tolylphosphines in axial positions and the remaining ligands in equatorial positions. The overall geometry of the RuII ion is a distorted octahedral structure. The P—Ru—P axis deviates from linearity by about 13°. This distortion arises mainly from the steric congestion between the bulky phosphine moieties and the tetrahedral dihydrobis(pyrazol‐1‐yl)borate ligands.  相似文献

Heterogeneous C–S coupling reaction of thiols with polychloroalkanes or alkyl halides was achieved at 30 or 80 °C in the presence of 5 mol% of an MCM‐41‐immobilized bidentate phosphine rhodium complex (MCM‐41‐2P‐RhCl(PPh3)) and triethylamine, yielding a variety of formaldehyde dithioacetals, ethylenedithioethers and unsymmetric thioethers in good to excellent yields. This heterogeneous rhodium catalyst can be easily recovered and recycled by simple filtration of the reaction solution and used for at least 10 consecutive trials without significant loss of activity. The reaction of [{Ir(cod)(μ‐Cl)}2] and K2CO3 or of [{Ir(cod)(μ‐OMe)}2] alone with the non‐natural tetrapyrrole 2,2′‐bidipyrrin (H2BDP) yields, depending on the stoichiometry, the mononuclear complex [Ir(cod)(HBDP)] or the homodinuclear complex [{Ir(cod)}2(BDP)]. Both complexes react readily with carbon monoxide to yield the species [Ir(CO)2(HBDP)] and [{Ir(CO)2}2(BDP)], respectively. The results from NMR spectroscopy and X‐ray diffraction reveal different conformations for the tetrapyrrolic ligand in both complexes. The reaction of [{Ir(coe)2(μ‐Cl)}2] with H2BDP proceeds differently and yields the macrocyclic [4e?,2H+]‐oxidized product [IrCl2(9‐Meic)] (9‐Meic = monoanion of 9‐methyl‐9,10‐isocorrole), which can be addressed as an iridium analog of cobalamin.  相似文献

Dendrons possessing one activated vinyl group at the core and several chlorine atoms at the end of the branches are used as starting materials to study the possibility to react independently the surface functions and the core function. In particular, the most powerful sequence of reactions for decorating them by organometallic complexes as end groups and amine or alcohol at the core has been determined. In the first step, phenol phosphines are grafted as end groups of the dendrons, and they can be used for the complexation of metals. However, these phosphines must be kept free when amines are used to react with the vinyl core in the next step. Depending on the type of phosphine end groups and on the type of function of the core (amine or alcohol), the complexation of ruthenium ([RuCl2(p-cymene)]2) and rhodium ([RhCl(COD)]2) derivatives by the phosphine end groups can occur without side reaction at the core.  相似文献

The reaction behaviour of 1, 3, 5‐triaza‐2σ3λ3‐phosphorin‐4, 6‐dionyloxy‐substituted calix[4]arenes towards mono‐ and binuclear rhodium and platinum complexes was investigated. Special attention was directed to structure and dynamic behaviour of the products in solution and in the solid state. Depending on the molar ratio of the reactands, the reaction of the tetrakis(triazaphosphorindionyloxy)‐substituted calix[4]arene ( 4 ) and its tert‐butyl‐derivative ( 1 ) with [(cod)RhCl]2 yielded the mono‐ and disubstituted binuclear rhodium complexes 2 , 3 , and 5 . In all cases, a C2‐symmetrical structure was proved in solution, apparently caused by a fast intramolecular exchange process between cone conformation and 1, 3‐alternating conformation. The X‐ray crystal structure determination of 5 confirmed [(calixarene)RhCl]2‐coordination through two opposite phosphorus atoms with a P ⃜P separation of 345 pm. The complex displays crystallographic inversion symmetry, and the Rh2Cl2 core is thus exactly planar. Reaction of 1 and of the bis(triazaphosphorindionyloxy)‐bis(methoxy)‐substituted tert‐butyl‐calix‐[4]arene ( 7 ) with (cod)Rh(acac) in equimolar ratio and subsequent reaction with HBF4 led to the expected cationic monorhodium complexes 5 and 8 , involving 1, 3‐alternating P‐Rh‐P‐coordination. The cone conformation in solution was proved by NMR spectroscopy and characteristic values of the 1J(PRh) coupling constants in the 31P‐NMR‐spectra. Reaction of equimolar amounts of 4 with (cod)Rh(acac) or (nbd)Rh(acac) led, by substitution of the labile coordinated acetylacetonato and after addition of HBF4, to the corresponding mononuclear cationic complexes 9 and 10 . Only two of the four phosphorus atoms in 9 and 10 are coordinated to the central metal atom. Displacement of either cycloocta‐1, 5‐diene or norbornadiene was not observed. For both compounds, the cone conformation was proved by NMR spectroscopy. Reaction of 4 with (cod)PtCl2 led to the PtCl2‐complex ( 11 ). As for all compounds mentioned above, only two phosphorus atoms of the ligand coordinate to platinum, while two phosphorus atoms remain uncoordinated (proved by δ31P and characteristic values of 1J(PPt)). NMR‐spectroscopic evidence was found for the existence of the cone conformation in the cis‐configuration of 11 .  相似文献

Substituted phenanthrenes and picenes were easily prepared by reaction of biphenylene or angular [3]phenylene with various alkynes in the presence of a catalytic amount of [IrCl(cod)]2/dppe (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene, dppe=1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane). The reaction is based on C? C bond activation of the cyclobutane ring. The reaction tolerates the presence of bulky groups on the alkyne, such as the ferrocene moiety. In addition, a catalytic system based on [RhCl(cod)]2/dppe enabled the, hitherto unreported, reaction of biphenylene with nitriles to provide phenanthridines.  相似文献

The reaction of cationic diolefinic rhodium(I) complexes with 2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzaldehyde (pCHO) was studied. [Rh(cod)2]ClO4 (cod=cycloocta‐1,5‐diene) reacted with pCHO to undergo the oxidative addition of one pCHO with (1,2,3‐η)cyclooct‐2‐en‐1‐yl (η3‐C8H13) formation, and the coordination of a second pCHO molecule as (phosphino‐κP)aldehyde‐κO(σ‐coordination) chelate to give the 18e acyl(allyl)rhodium(III) species [Rh(η3‐C8H13)(pCO)(pCHO)]ClO4 (see 1 ). Complex 1 reacted with [Rh(cod)(PR3)2]ClO4 (R=aryl) derivatives 3 – 6 to give stable pentacoordinated 16e acyl[(1,2,3‐η)‐cyclooct‐2‐en‐1‐yl]rhodium(III) species [Rh(η3‐C8H13)(pCO)(PR3)]ClO4 7 – 10 . The (1,2,3‐η)‐cyclooct‐2‐en‐1‐yl complexes contain cis‐positioned P‐atoms and were fully characterized by NMR, and the molecular structure of 1 was determined by X‐ray crystal diffraction. The rhodium(III) complex 1 catalyzed the hydroformylation of hex‐1‐ene and produced 98% of aldehydes (n/iso=2.6).  相似文献

Hydrosilylation reactions of styrene with triethoxysilane catalyzed by rhodium complexes with phosphine ligands functionalized with imidazolium salts are reported. In comparison with Wilkinson’s catalyst, Rh(PPh3)3Cl, all of the present rhodium complexes with phosphines functionalized with imidazolium salts exhibit higher catalytic activity and selectivity.  相似文献

A convenient and waste‐free synthesis of indene‐based tertiary carbinamines by rhodium‐catalyzed imine/alkyne [3+2] annulation is described. Under the optimized conditions of 0.5–2.5 mol % [{(cod)Rh(OH)}2] (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene) catalyst, 1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphanyl)propane (DPPP) ligand, in toluene at 120 °C, N‐unsubstituted aromatic ketimines and internal alkynes were coupled in a 1:1 ratio to form tertiary 1H‐inden‐1‐amines in good yields and with high selectivities over isoquinoline products. A plausible catalytic cycle involves sequential imine‐directed aromatic C? H bond activation, alkyne insertion, and a rare example of intramolecular ketimine insertion into a RhI–alkenyl linkage.  相似文献

The rapid development of enantioselective C?H activation reactions has created a demand for new types of catalysts. Herein, we report the synthesis of a novel planar‐chiral rhodium catalyst [(C5H2tBu2CH2tBu)RhI2]2 in two steps from commercially available [(cod)RhCl]2 and tert‐butylacetylene. Pure enantiomers of the catalyst were obtained through separation of its diastereomeric adducts with natural (S)‐proline. The catalyst promoted enantioselective reactions of aryl hydroxamic acids with strained alkenes to give dihydroisoquinolones in high yields (up to 97 %) and with good stereoselectivity (up to 95 % ee).  相似文献

Two series of new phosphine derivatives based on C60 protected by borane have been synthesized and characterized. These phosphines were used for two preliminary complexation trials with [RhCl(COD)]2 and [Re(S3CPh)2(S2CPh)] to afford, respectively, the corresponding complexes [RhCl(COD)(PRPh2)] and [Re(S2CPh)3(PRPh2)].  相似文献

Efficient rhodium(III) catalysts were developed for asymmetric hydrogenation of simple olefins. A new series of chloride‐bridged dinuclear rhodium(III) complexes 1 were synthesized from the rhodium(I) precursor [RhCl(cod)]2, chiral diphosphine ligands, and hydrochloric acid. Complexes from the series acted as efficient catalysts for asymmetric hydrogenation of (E)‐prop‐1‐ene‐1,2‐diyldibenzene and its derivatives without any directing groups, in sharp contrast to widely used rhodium(I) catalytic systems that require a directing group for high enantioselectivity. The catalytic system was applied to asymmetric hydrogenation of allylic alcohols, alkenylboranes, and unsaturated cyclic sulfones. Control experiments support the superiority of dinuclear rhodium(III) complexes 1 over typical rhodium(I) catalytic systems.  相似文献

The reactivity of secondary phosphine oxides containing bulky organic fragments in hydrophosphinylation reactions has been investigated using several rhodium based catalysts. Upon heating in a focused microwave reactor, HP(O)(2-C6H4Me)2 adds to prototypical terminal alkynes affording a complex mixture containing 1,2 and 1,1-addition products. Addition of a second ortho-substituent (HP(O)Mes2) completely suppresses the hydrophosphinylation reaction for alkyl and aryl substituted alkynes. Variations in the temperature, catalyst loading, solvent, and microwave power were unable to induce an addition reaction in the case of HP(O)Mes2. While this secondary phosphine oxide did not participate in the hydrophosphinylation reaction, it promoted the polymerization of phenylacetylene. HP(O)R2 substrates are not commonly thought of as innocent ligands for rhodium complexes in reactions involving alkynes due to facile hydrophosphinylation. While this is certainly true for diphenylphosphine oxide, the chemistry presented herein suggests that HP(O)Mes2 and related bulky secondary phosphine oxides have great potential as valuable ligands for rhodium catalyzed transformations involving alkynes due to their lack of reactivity towards the addition reaction.  相似文献

The water‐soluble phosphine ligands, 1,3,5‐triaza‐7‐phosphatricyclo[3.3.1.13,7]decane (tpa) and 1‐alkyl‐1‐azonia‐3,5‐diaza‐7‐phosphatricyclo[3.3.1.13,7]decane iodides (Rtpa+I), with alkyl=methyl(mtpa+I), ethyl (etpa+I) and n‐propyl, (ptpa+I), and mtpa+Cl react with [Rh2Cl2(CO)4] giving the rhodium(I) complexes [RhCl(CO)(tpa)2], [RhI(CO)(Rtpa+I)2], [RhCl‐(CO)(mtpa+Cl)3] and [RhI(CO)(Rtpa+I)3]. The properties and reactivities of the complexes have been investigated using 1H and 31PNMR and IR spectroscopies. The five‐coordinate complexes in solutions show dynamic properties. The complexes are catalysts of the water‐gas shift reaction, the hydrogenation of CC and CO bonds, the hydroformylation of alkenes and the isomerization of unsaturated compounds.
