In this paper, we study the stabilization problem for a class of linear nonautonomous systems with norm-bounded controls. Using the Lyapunov function technique, we establish simple verifiable stabilizability conditions without solving any Riccati differential equation. The generalized control system that we consider in this paper is a collection of vector fields, which are measurable in the time variable and Lipschitzian in the state variable. For such system, we define the concept of an abundant subset. Our definition follows the definition of an abundant set of control functions introduced by Warga. We prove a controllability–extremality theorem for generalized control systems, which says, in essence, that either a given trajectory satisfies a type of maximum principle or a neighborhood of the endpoint of the trajectory can be covered by trajectories of an abundant subset. We apply the theorem to a control system in the classical formulation and obtain a controllability–extremality result, which is stronger, in some respects, than all previous results of this type. Finally, we apply the theorem to differential inclusions and obtain, as an easy corollary, a Pontryagin-type maximum principle for nonconvex inclusions.  相似文献

This paper is a survey of reachability and controllability results for discrete-time positive linear systems. It presents a variety of criteria in both algebraic and digraph forms for recognising these fundamental system properties with direct implications not only in dynamic optimization problems (such as those arising in inventory and production control, manpower planning, scheduling and other areas of operations research) but also in studying properties of reachable sets, in feedback control problems, and others. The paper highlights the intrinsic combinatorial structure of reachable/controllable positive linear systems and reveals the monomial components of such systems. The system matrix decomposition into monomial components is demonstrated by solving some illustrative examples.  相似文献

本文研究了一类不确定线性切换系统的二次鲁棒稳定性问题.首先利用矩阵集的严格完备性设计切换律,导出了二次鲁棒稳定的充分条件.同时得到了在任意切换策略下,当矩阵集的所有矩阵为负定时保证切换系统二次鲁棒稳定性.在适当的假设下,这些条件可以表示为矩阵不等式.最后,用数值例子对所得结果加以阐明,说明了文中结果的正确性.  相似文献

In this paper, several abstract results concerning the controllability of semilinear evolution systems are obtained. First, approximate controllability conditions for semilinear systems are obtained by means of a fixed-point theorem of the Rothe type; in this case, the compactness of the linear operator is assumed. Next, the exact controllability of semilinear systems with nonlinearities having small Lipschitz constants is derived by means of the Banach fixed-point theorem; in this case, the compactness of the operators is not assumed. In both cases, it is proven that the controllability of the linear system implies the controllability of the associated semilinear system. Finally, these abstract results are applied to the controllability of the semilinear wave and heat equations.  相似文献

Moving-horizon control is a type of sampled-data feedback control in which the control over each sampling interval is determined by the solution of an open-loop optimal control problem. We develop a dual-sampling-rate moving-horizon control scheme for a class of linear, continuous-time plants with strict input saturation constraints in the presence of plant uncertainty and input disturbances. Our control scheme has two components: a slow-sampling moving-horizon controller for a nominal plant and a fast-sampling state-feedback controller whose function is to force the actual plant to emulate the nominal plant. The design of the moving-horizon controller takes into account the nonnegligible computation time required to compute the optimal control trajectory.We prove the local stability of the resulting feedback system and illustrate its performance with simulations. In these simulations, our dual-sampling-rate controller exhibits performance that is considerably superior to its single-sampling-rate moving-horizon controller counterpart.  相似文献

In a recent paper by Zhou (Ref. 1), the concept of near-optimal controls was introduced for a class of optimal control problems involving ordinary differential equations. Necessary and sufficient conditions for near-optimal controls were derived. This paper extends the results obtained by Zhou to a class of optimal control problems involving Volterra integral equations. This paper deals with the uncertain class of continuous-time linear systems with Markovian jumping parameters and multiplicative Brownian disturbance. A design method for a nonfragile robust controller for this class of systems is proposed when the uncertainties are of the norm-bounded type. An LMI based sufficient condition is developed. The methodology used is based mainly on the Lyapunov approach. A numerical example is presented to show the usefulness of the proposed results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the controllability and stabilizability problem for control systems described by a time‐varying linear abstract differential equation with distributed delay in the state variables. An approximate controllability property is established, and for periodic systems, the stabilization problem is studied. Assuming that the semigroup of operators associated with the uncontrolled and non delayed equation is compact, and using the characterization of the asymptotic stability in terms of the spectrum of the monodromy operator of the uncontrolled system, it is shown that the approximate controllability property is a sufficient condition for the existence of a periodic feedback control law that stabilizes the system. In this paper, we investigate the quadratic stability and quadratic stabilizability of the class of continuous-time linear systems with Markovian jumps and norm-bound uncertainties in the parameters. Under some appropriate assumptions, a necessary and sufficient condition is established for mean-square quadratic stability and mean-square quadratic stabilizability of this class of systems. The quadratic guaranteed cost control problem is also addressed via a LMI optimization problem.  相似文献

In this paper, guaranteed-cost observer-based controls for a class of uncertain neutral time-delay systems are considered. The asymptotic stabilization for the uncertain neutral systems is guaranteed with an observer-based feedback control. The linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is used to design the observer-based feedback control system. Two classes of observer-based controls are proposed and their guaranteed costs are given. The control and observer gains are given from the LMI feasible solutions. A convex optimization problem with LMIs is formulated to design the optimal guaranteed-cost observer-based controls which minimize the guaranteed cost of the system considered.
