Liquid — liquid extraction of Ag(I) by diphenyl-2-pyridylmethane (DPPM) in benzene from aqueous nitric and sulfuric acid solutions containing thiocyanate ions has been studied at ambient temperature (24±2 °C). The metal is extracted quantitatively from 0.01M HNO3+0.02M KSCN; or 0.25M H2SO4+0.02M KSCN by 0.1M DPPM (optimum extraction conditions). Slope analysis indicates that two types of ion-pair complexes i.e. [(DPPMH)+·Ag(SCN) 2 ] and [(DPPMH) 2 + ·Ag(SCN) 3 2– ] are involved in the extraction process. Separation factors determined at optimum conditions reveal the separation of Ag(I) from Cs(I), Br(I), Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Fe(III), Au(III) (from HNO3 solution only), Cr(III), Hf(IV), Ta(V), Sn(IV) and Cr(VI). With the exception of thiosulfate, other complexing anions like ascorbate, acetate, citrate, oxalate do not hinder the extraction of Ag(I) under optimum conditions.  相似文献

Summary The TLC system composed of ECTEOLA-cellulose and 2.5 mol/l HCl–2.5 mol/l NaCl–0.6% (w/v) H2O2 solution allows consecutive separations of Au(III), Pt(IV), Pd(II) and a number of associated base metals such as Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II) Ni(II), Cu(II), Mg, Ca, Ba, Al, Bi(III), Pb(II), Zn(II) and Ag(I) coexisting in an extremely wide range of amounts and ratios, to be conducted completely in a single run. The effectiveness of the present system is verified by applying it to various synthesized samples containing the three noble metals and one of the base metals, Pt-metal powder and two kinds of Au-alloys.  相似文献

In this paper, zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 modified by the ethanediamine (NH2-ZIF-8) was employed for adsorbing Au (III) and Ag(I) from aqueous solutions. The adsorption capacities of NH2-ZIF-8 towards Au (III) and Ag(I) were found to be significantly affected by the pH values of the solution. The adsorption kinetics studies show that NH2-ZIF-8 presents a fast adsorption property towards metals, attaining 93% of adsorption equilibrium uptake for Au (III) within the first 30 min. This phenomenon can be ascribed to the coordination interaction between the amino group and Au (III). The thermodynamic data suggest that the adsorption of NH2-ZIF-8 towards Au (III) is endothermic process, while that for Ag(I) is exothermic. The maximum adsorption capacities of NH2-ZIF-8 toward Au (III) and Ag(I) can be achieved to 357 mg·g−1 and 222.25 mg·g−1, respectively. The metal ions interference results show that Cu (II) and Ni (II) hardly have no interference on Au (III) adsorption in e-waste containing 1500 mg·l−1 Cu (II),100 mg·l−1 Ni (II) and 10 mg·l−1 Au (III); while for Ag(I), Cd (II) and Zn (II) have little interference on Ag(I) adsorption in the hybrid solutions containing Ag(I), Ni (II), Cd (II) and Zn (II) with equal concentration (50 mg·l−1), but Ni (II) interference most. The XPS study shows that partial Au (III) was reduced to Au(I), and that Ag(I) was completely reduced to Ag(0) during the adsorption process. The abundant of active sites of NH2-ZIF-8 containing C=N, N-H, and Zn-OH groups play a key role in the adsorption of Au (III) and Ag(I). In addition, electrostatic interaction can be responsible for the adsorption of Au (III) by NH2-ZIF-8. The regeneration experiments results show that the adsorption capacities of NH2-ZIF-8 towards Au (III) and Ag(I) can maintain after three cycles. This work provides a reliable method to improve the adsorption kinetics for metal ions.  相似文献

New complexes of bivalent Co, Ni, and Cu with isatin aminoguanisone (HL) and nitroaminoguanisone (HL1) of the composition ([Co(HL)2]Cl2 (I), [Ni(HL)2]Cl2 (II), [Cu(L)Cl] (III), [Co(L1)2] (IV), [Ni(L1)2] (V), and [Cu(L1)2] (VI) are synthesized. Their molecular conductivities and effective magnetic moments are measured and thermal stabilities are studied. The type of the ligand coordination in IVI is proposed on the basis of IR data. The summary of physicochemical data for IVI and the energy calculations for their molecules by the molecular mechanics method made it possible to establish stoichiometry of the coordination polyhedra of the complexes.  相似文献

Summary The extractants studied in this work are 5,6; 14,15-dibenzo-l,4-dioxa-8,12-diazacyclopentadeca-7,12-diene (I) and 5,6; 14,15-dibenzo-1,4-dioxa-8,12-diazacyclopentadecane (II). Radioactive nuclides were used to investigate the extraction of Ag(I), Hg(II), Cu(II), Cd, Co(II), Zn, Fe(III), Mn(II), and Pd with chloroform solutions of I and II. It is shown that compound I extracts only silver. The composition of the extracted compound has been established: silver is extracted as an AgLX complexe (L being macrocycle I and X being the counterion). The counterions involved in the experiment were perchlorate, picrate (Pi), and dipicrylaminate (DPA); the extraction of silver is intensified in the series: ClO4 –. The solvents used include nitrobenzene, 1,2-dichloroethane, chloroform, ando-xylene, the best being nitrobenzene and dichloroethane. Macrocycle II was found to exhibit poorer selectivity; in addition to Ag(I), it also extracts Hg(II), Cu(II) and Pd. The lower selectivity of macrocycle II, as compared to that of I, must be due to the graeter comformational mobility of molecule II.

Zusammenfassung 5,6; 14,15-Dibenzo-1,4-dioxa-8,12-diazacyklopentadeka-7,12-dien (i) und 5,6; 14,15-Dibenzo-1,4-dioxa-8,12-diazacyklopentadekan (II) wurden als Extraktionsmittel verwendet. Radioaktive Nuklide dienten zur Untersuchung der Extraktion von Ag(I), Hg(II), Cu(II), Cd, Co(II), Zn, Fe(III), Mn(II) und Pd durch Chloroformlösungen von I und II. Die Verbindung I extrahiert nur Silber. Die Zusammensetzung der extrahierten Verbindungen wurde ermittelt: Silber wird als AgLX (L=Makrocyklus I, X=Gegenion) extrahiert. Zusammenfassung Eine indirekte, extraktionsphotometrische Methode zur Bestimmung kleiner Quecksilbermengen wurde angegeben. Sie beruht auf der Verdrängung des Nickels aus farbigen, chloroformischen Lösungen von antipyrin-4-dithiocarbonsaurem Nickel. Die Herabsetzung der Lichtabsorption solcher Lösungen bei 575 nm ist der jeweiligen Quecksilbermenge proportional. Gold, Silber, Kupfer, Quecksilber(I), Cyanid und ÄDTA verhindern die Bestimmung. Der Einfluß sonstiger Fremdionen wurde untersucht.
Summary An indirect extraction-photometric method of determining small quantities of mercury has been worked out; it is based on the displacement of nickel from (4-DTA)2Ni. A fall of the absorption of the color of this solution after extraction with the test specimen is measured at=575 nm. The determination is not possible in the presence of Au(III), Ag(I), Cu(I), Cu(II), Hg(I) and S2O3 2–, SO3 2–, CN ions and Complexon III. Therefore a study was made of the influence of Tl(I), Pb(II), Cd(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(II), Fe(III), Zn(II), Bi(III), Al(III), as well as of C2O4 2–, C4H4O6 2–, Cl, I, SCN, SO4 2–.

Résumé On a mis au point un dosage photométrique indirect, par extraction, de petites quantités de mercure; il repose sur le déplacement du nickel du composé (4-DTA)2Ni. On mesure la diminution de l'absorption de la coloration de cette solution après l'extraction par l'échantillon étudié à = 575 nm. La présence des ions Au-III, Ag-I, Cu-I, Cu-II, Hg-I et S2O3 2–, SO3 2–, CN, complexone-III rend le dosage impossible. On a étudié également l'influence de Tl-I, Pb-II, Cd-II, Ni-II, Co-II, Cr-III, Mn-II, Fe-II, Fe-III, Zn-II, Bi-III, Al-III, ainsi que de C2O4 2–, C4H4O6 2–, Cl, I, SCN, SO4 2–.

The present study was undertaken to develop a novel adsorbent for heavy metal ions, and this paper presents the synthesis and characterization of a composite material-silica gel microspheres encapsulated by salicyclic acid functionalized polystyrene (SG-PS-azo-SA) with a core-shell structure. SG-PS-azo-SA was used to investigate the adsorption of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Fe(III), Hg(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Cr(VI), Pd(II), Cu(II), Ag(I), and Au(III) from aqueous solutions. The results revealed that SG-PS-azo-SA has better adsorption capacity for Cu(II), Ag(I) and Au(III). Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models were applied to analyze the experimental data, the best interpretation for the experimental data was given by the Langmuir isotherm equation with the maximum adsorption capacity for Cu(II), Ag(I), and Au(III) at 1.288 mmol g−1, 1.850 mmol g−1 and 1.613 mmol gt-1, respectively. Thus, silica gel encapsulated by salicyclic acid functionalized polystyrene (SG-PS-azo-SA) is favorable and useful for the removal of Cu(II), Ag(I) and Au(III) metal ions.  相似文献

Summary Oximidobenzotetronic acid (OBTA) is proposed as a sensitive spectrophotometric reagent for the estimation of 0.5–3.0 ppm of copper(II) at 427 nm in 50% dioxan at pH 5.3–7.5. For the estimation of 2 ppm Cu(II), 1.3 ppm Ni(II), 1.3 ppm Co(II), 3.2 ppm Fe(II), 10.3 ppm Fe(III), 9.7 ppm Ce(IV), 300 ppm acetate, 160 ppm oxalate, 95 ppm tartrate, 50 ppm citrate, as well as Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II)) Pb(II), Mn(II), As(III) as well as (V), Th(IV), Be(II), Ce(III), La(III), V(V) and Mo(VI), even when present in large quantities, do not interfere. The interference due to 25 ppm Bi(III), 20 ppm Sb(III), 20 ppm Sn(II), 25 ppm Sn(IV) and 30 ppm W(VI) can be removed by the addition of 95 ppm tartrate ions.

Die Anwesenheit von 1,3 ppm Ni(II), 1,3 ppm Co(II), 3,2 ppm Fe(II), 10,3 ppm Fe(III), 9,7 ppm Ce(IV), 300 ppm Acetat, 160 ppm Oxalat, 95 ppm Tartrat, 50 ppm Citrat sowie die Anwesenheit auch großer Mengen Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), Pb(II), Mn(II), As(III) bzw. (V), Th(IV), Be(II), Ce(III), La(III), V(V) und Mo(VI) stören die Bestimmung von 2 ppm Cu(II) nicht. Der störende Einfluß von 25 ppm Bi(III), 20 ppm Sb(III), 20 ppm Sn(II), 25 ppm Sn(IV) und 30 ppm W(VI) kann durch Zusatz von 95 ppm Tartrat beseitigt werden.

Some news thiopyrimidine derivatives and complexes [4-amino-5-nitroso-6-oxo-1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-2-thio-pyrimidine (TANH), its 2-methylthio derivative (MTH), the ammonium salt ofTANH (sTANH) and six new complexes of formulas: Rh(MT)2Cl · 2H2O, Pd(MTH)2Cl2, Pt(MTH)2Cl4, Au(MTH)Cl3 Pd(TANH)2Cl2 and Au(TAN )Cl] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and1H-NMR spectroscopy techniques. The thermal behaviour of all compounds has also been studied.

Zusammenfassung Es wurden einige neue Thiopyrimidinderivate und deren Komplexe synthetisiert und mittels Elementaranalyse, IR und1H-NMR charakterisiert: 4-Amino-5-nitroso-6-oxo-1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-2-thio-pyrimidin (TANH), dessen 2-Methylthio-Derivat (MTH), das Ammoniumsalz vonTANH (sTANH) und sechs neue Komplexe der Formeln Rh(MT)2Cl · 2H2O, Pd(MTH)2Cl2, Pt(MTH)2Cl4, Au(MTH)Cl3, Pd(TANH)2Cl2 und Au(TAN )Cl. Das thermische Verhalten der Verbindungen wurde ebenfalls untersucht.

Summary Sn(II), Ti(III), Cu(I), Fe(II), V(III) and V(II) can be titrated potentiometrically with cacotheline in 1–4M hydrochloric acid, 0.5–2M hydrochloric acid, 0.5–1.5M sulphuric acid in presence of 4 ml of 10% EDTA solution in a total volume of 50 ml, 9–10M phosphoric acid, 4–8M acetic acid and 3–8M acetic acid respectively. Cacotheline can be used for the assay of tin plate and solder. The cacotheline undergoes a 2-electron reduction reaction. A cacotheline solution (0.005M) in 0.02M hydrochloric acid is fairly stable for several months. The conditional redox potentials of cacotheline have been determined in sulphuric, phosphoric and acetic acid medium.
Kakothelin als oxydimetriscbes Reagens. Bestimmung von Sn(II), Cu(I), Ti(III), Fe(II), V(II) und V(III)
Zusammenfassung In 1–4M Salzsäure, in 0,5–2M Salzsäure, 0,5–1,5M Schwefelsäure in Gegenwart von 4 ml 10%iger EDTA-Lösung in einem Gesamtvolumen von 50 ml, in 9–10M Phosphorsäure, in 4–8M Essigsäure bzw. in 3–8M Essigsäure kann man die genannten Kationen potentiometrisch mit Kakothelin titrieren. Dieses eignet sich auch für die Untersuchung von Lötzinn. Kakothelin erleidet dabei eine 2-Elektronen-Reduktions-Reaktion. Seine 0,005M Lösung in 0,02M Salzsäure ist einige Monate beständig. Sein Redoxpotential in Schwefelsäure, Phosphorsäure bzw. Essigsäure wurde bestimmt.

The extraction of Sm(III), Dy(III) and Tm(III) with N-benzoyl-N-phenylhydroxalamine (BPHA) in benzene at pH range (1–10) has been studied. Quantitative separation was found in borate media at pH 8. The slope analysis showed that the extracted complex was M(BPHA)3, where M=Sm(III), Dy(III) and Tm(III). The effect of various masking agents indicated that EDTA, oxalate, fluoride, phosphate and citrate, interfered in this study. Decontamination study showed that Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Cr(III), Sc(III) and Fe(III) had very poor separation factors, whereas Sn(II), Cd(II), In(III), Ru(II), Hg(II), Ag(I), Ta(V) and Hf(IV) had very large separation factor. The effect of different diluents showed that carbontetrachloride, chloroform, benzene, toluene, nitrobenzene dichloromethane, MIBK and cyclohexanone were equally good for extraction except TBP due to ion association.  相似文献

Summary The cation-exchange behaviour of Mg(II), Ca(II), Sr(II), Ba(II), Mn(II), Cd(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) in succinate media at various concentrations and pH, was studied with Dowex 50 WX8 resin (200–400 mesh) in the NH 4 + form. As examples separations of Cd(II)/Co(II), Cd (II)/Ni(II), Fe(III)/Cu(II)/Ni(II) and Mg(II)/Ca(II)/Sr(II)/Ba(II) have been achieved.This work was supported by C.N.R. of Italy.  相似文献

The proton dissociation of hexaamminemetal nitrates of Cr(III), Co(II), Co(III), Ni(II), and Cu(II) in liquid ammonia has been investigated at a temperature of –39°C. This could be realized by using a specially constructed thin-walled glass electrode combined with a Ag/Ag(I) (in liquid ammonia) reference electrode. The potential of the couple used has been found to obey the Nernst equation in liquid ammonia. The pK a values of the hexaamminemetal nitrates in liquid ammonia are 7.27 [Cr(III)], 6.99 [Co(II)], 7.78 [Co(III)], 8.95 [Ni(II)], and 8.24 [Cu(II)]. The temperature dependence of the pK avalues falls within the experimental error.  相似文献

Transition metal complexes of ditertiary aminomethylphosphine ligand, (Ph2PCH2)NCH3 [N,N‐bis(diphenylphospinomethyl)aminomethane], dppam, with metal ions which are Ag(I), Au(I), Cu(I), and Co(II) have been synthesized under nitrogen atmosphere by the Schlenk method. [Ag(dppam)2]NO3 ( 1 ), [Au(dppam)2]Cl ( 2 ), and [Cu(dppam)2]Cl ( 3 ) complexes have been isolated as colorless solids, whereas [CoCl2(dppam)] ( 4 ) complex as a blue solid. All complexes have been characterized by atomic absorption, FT‐IR, NMR (1H, 13C, 31P) spectroscopic, thermogravimetric/differantial thermal analysis (TG/DTA), and elemental analysis techniques. Antimicrobial activity of 1 , 2 , 3 , and 4 were studied in vitro on 13 bacteria and 4 yeasts. The cobalt(II) phosphine complex has shown the best antimicrobial activity in comparison with the other metal complexes. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The bis(ethylene)dithioformamidinium dihalides (En2Tu2X2, X = Cl(H2O), Br, I), obtained by oxidation of ethylenethiourea, and their complexes MX.En2Tu2X2 (M = Cu, X = Br[0.2 DMF]; M = Ag, X = Br; M = Au, X = Cl), 2MX. 1.5 En2Tu2X2 (M = Cu, X = Cl[0.4 DMF]; M = Ag, X = I), MX. 1.5 En2Tu2X2 (M = Cu, X = I; M = Au, X = Br), AgCl. 1.25 En2Tu2Cl2, 4AgI. 1.5 En2Tu2I2, AuI.2En2Tu2I2, were prepared and studied by i.r. spectroscopy. The En2Tu2+2 ion is N-bonded to the metal ion. Some νMN and νMX bands are tentatively assigned.  相似文献

A new Schiff base, acenaphthoquinone bis(diphenylmethlenehydrazone) (L), was synthesized and employed as a chemosensor for detecting Ag(I) and Cu(I). Experimental results showed that the chemosensor exhibited high selectivity and sensitivity. The sensitivity of the chemosensor for Ag(I) or Cu(I) was not affected by other metal ions, such as Ni(II), Nd(III), Zn(II), Fe(III), Cu(II), Na(I), La(III), K(I), and Co(II). Complexes 1 and 2 were synthesized by coordination of L with Ag(I) and Cu(I), respectively. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. They had the same space group P21/c. Based on theoretical calculation, mechanism of the chemosensor detecting Ag(I) and Cu(I) was suggested.  相似文献

Copper(I), silver(I) and mercury(II) halide complexes of the 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-dithiazolium halides (thiouret hydrohalides, DADTX): M(DADT)X2 (M = Cu, Ag; X = Cl, Br, I), Cu(DADT)2I3, Ag5(DADT)I6 1.33 DMF, Ag(DADT)4I5, Hg(DADT)2X4 (X = Cl, Br, I) and Hg(DADT)X3 (X = Br, I) have been prepared and studied by conductometric and i.r. methods. The DADT+ ion is coordinated to the metal through its ring nitrogen atom. In the Cu(DADT)2I3 and Ag(DADT)4I5 complexes some of the DADT+ ions are not coordinated. The M(DADT)X2 complexes have a (N, Xt 2Xb) pseudo-tetrahedral coordination. In the Cu(DADT)Cl2 complex the three observed ν(CuCl) bands have frequencies inversely and linearly proportional to the CuCl distances observed in the crystal. The Hg(DADT)2X4 complexes have a (N2, X4) D4h pseudo-octahedral coordination with the HgI4 moiety presumably tetrahedrally distorted in the iodide.  相似文献

Summary A potentiometric method is described for the determination of Bi(III), Cu(II), V(V) and Cr(VI) in alkaline glycerol medium by ferrous sulphate solution. Errors are below ±1.5%. Furthermore, the Fe(II)-glycerol complex is used for the detection of Ag(I), Au(III), Bi(III), Cn(II), Hg(II) and Pd(II).
Zusammenfassung Ein Verfahren zur potentiometrischen Bestimmung von Bi(III), Cu(II), V(V) und Cr(VI) in alkalischer Glycerinlösung mit Fe(II)-Lösung wird mitgeteilt. Die Fehler liegen unter ± 1,5%. Au\erdem wird eine Nachweismethode für Ag(I), Au(III), Bi(III), Cu(II), Hg(II) und Pd(II) beschrieben, die ebenfalls auf der Reduktion mit Hilfe des Fe(II)-Glycerinkomplexes beruht.

Poly(acrylp-aminobenzenesulfonamideamidine-p-aminobenzenesulfonylamide) chelating fiber containing "S", "N", and "O" elements was synthesized from polyacrylonitrile fiber and p-aminobenzene sulfonamide and used to enrich and separate trace Bi(III), Hg(III), Au(III), and Pd(IV) ions from wastewater and ore sample solution. The enrichment acidity, flow rate, elution conditions, reuse, interference ions, saturated adsorption capacity, constant of adsorption rate, analytical accuracy, and actual samples on chelating fiber were investigated by means of inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) with satisfactory results. Solutions of 100 ng mL–1 of Bi(III), Hg(III), Au(III), and Pd(IV) ions can be enriched quantitatively by this chelating fiber at a rate of 1.0 mL min–1 at pH 4 and desorbed quantitatively with 20 mL of 0.25 M HCl and 2% CS(NH2)2 solution at 50 °C (with recovery 97%). When the chelating fiber was reused for 20 times, the recoveries of the analyzed ions enriched by the fiber were still over 95% (except for Hg(III)). One thousand-fold excesses of Mn2+, Ca2+, Zn2+, Mg2+, Fe3+, Cu2+, Ni2+, Al3+, and Ba2+ ions and thousands-fold excesses of Na+ and K+ cause little interference in the pre-concentration and determination of the analyzed ions. The saturated adsorption capacity of Bi(III), Hg(III), Au(III), and Pd(IV) was 4.850×10–4, 3.235×10–4, 2.807×10–4, and 3.386×10–4 mol g–1, respectively. The constants of adsorption rate were 0.409 min–1 for Bi, 0.122 min–1 for Hg, 0.039 min–1 for Au, and 0.080 min–1 for Pd. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) for the enrichment and determination of 10 ng mL–1 Bi(III), Hg(III), Au(III), and Pd(IV) were lower than 2.3%. The results obtained for these ions in actual samples by this method were basically in agreement with the given values with average errors of less than 1.0%. FT-IR spectra shows that the existence of –SO2–Ar, –H2N–Ar, O=C–NH–, HN=C–NH–, and –HN–SO2 functional groups are verified in the chelating fiber. From the FT-IR spectroscopy, we can see that Hg(III), Au(III), and Pd(IV) are mainly combined with nitrogen and sulfur (or oxygen), and Bi(III) is mainly combined with nitrogen (or oxygen) of the groups to form a chelating complex.  相似文献

A 1:1 synthesis of 2-quinolylhydrazine with 2,2′-pyridil yields the hydrazone 2,2′-pyridil-mono-(2-quinolylhydrazone). In either the Z or E isomeric configuration, the molecule can serve as a tridentate ligand. Equilibrium studies were carried out to determine the effects of pH and concentration of ligand and metal on the distribution of the extracted complex into methyl isobutyl ketone. Graphical analysis of the slopes of the plot of the logarithm of the distribution coefficient vs pH, log [ligand], and log [M(II)] will determine the stoichiometry and polymerization of the complex. In the extraction of Cu(II), Ni(II), and Co(II), there is a small change in log D, where D is the distribution coefficient, with pH indicating the presence of a weakly dissociated ligand. Ligand:metal (1:1) ion-paired species are extracted, each having three absorption peaks in the region 400-550 nm. While a spectrophotometrtc method for each element does not seem feasible due to simultaneous extraction and overlapping absorbances, an extractive-atomic absorption method for the analysis of 1.6 ppm of Cu(II) is presented. Excesses of 20-70 ppm Co(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Cl, NO3, and SO42− do not interfere.  相似文献
