Reactions in which 3-aminoindole displays the properties of 3-imino-2H-indole were carried out. Lithio esters of carboxylic acids have been prepared in pure state and their properties are described. Interaction between the lithio esters with alkali metals alkoxides has been demonstrated, and some adducts have been isolated. Diethyl 5-isopropenyl-4,5-dihydrofuran-2,3-dicarboxylate 1a and methyl 5-isopropenyl-3-methoxy-carbonyl-4,5-dihydrofuran-2-acetate 2a were prepared by cylization of diethyl 2-oxosuccinate or dimethyl 3-oxoglutarate with (E)-1,4-dibromo-2-methyl-2-butene. Ketimines of 2-methylthiomethyl- and 2-methylsulfonylmethyl-3-oxodihydroquinoxaline have been prepared with the object of studying their tautomeric forms. The enaminoester of 1,3-bis(ethoxycarbonyl)-4,9-dihydrothienol[3,4-b]-quinoxaline-2,2-dioxide is very stable: it does not eliminate sulfur dioxide on boiling in diphenyl ether, under UV irradiation, or under electron bombardment. A new method of synthesizing hydrazides of amino acids and peptides is considered which involves the hydrazinolysis of the silyl esters of the corresponding compounds. A number of hydrazides of derivatives of amino acids and peptides has been obtained in high purity with yields close to quantitative. Summary In the hydroboration of dibutyl ethyleneboronate with subsequent treatment with alcohols 1,2- and 1, 1-ethanediboronic esters are formed in relative amounts of 1 1.3–1.75. Phytochelatin (PC)-related peptides were prepared by a conventional solution method and their heavy metal-binding properties were examined. Different from the Cu2+ and Cu+ -binding properties of metallothionein (MT)-related peptides, the Cu2+ and Cu+ -binding properties of PC-related peptides were fairly dependent on structure. It is of interest that gamma-Glu-Cys-Gly (glutathione) exhibited quite different Cu2+ and Cu+ -binding properties from those of other PC-related peptides and its binding abilities were comparable to those of MT-related peptides. The Cd2+ -binding properties of glutathione were similar to those of Cys, and the Cd2+ -binding abilities of PC-related peptides increased in proportion to the increase of gamma-Glu-Cys peptide unit.  相似文献
