The molecular mechanisms of addition of dihalocarbenes and dimethoxycarbene to thioketones derived from 2,2,4,4-tetrmethylcyclobutane-1,3-dione were examined on the basis of the DFT wb97xd/6-311g(d,p)(PCM) calculations. Obtained results demonstrated that the examined processes exhibit polar nature and in the case of electrophilic dichloro-, and dibromocarbenes are initiated by the attack of carbene species onto the sulfur atom of the C=S group. Remarkably, reactions involving more electrophilic carbenes (dichloro-, and dibromocarbene) proceeds via stepwise mechanism involving thiocarbonyl ylide as a transient intermediate. In contrast, analogous reactions with nucleophilic dimethoxycarbene occur via a single step reaction, which can be considered as the [2 + 1] cycloaddition reaction initiated by the attack onto the C=S bond. A computational study showed that difluorocarbene tends to react as a nucleophilic species and resembles rather dimethoxycarbene and not typical dihalocarbene species. Significantly higher reactivity of the thioketone unit in comparison to the ketone group, both present in 3-thioxo-2,2,4,4-tetramthylcyclobutanone molecule, was rationalized in the light of DFT computational study. 相似文献

采用密度泛函理论(DFT)方法在B3LYP/6-311G(d,p)水平上研究了硅苯和锗苯与2,3-二甲基丁二烯的两类杂Diels-Alder反应的微观机理、势能剖面、取代基效应和溶剂效应.计算结果表明,所研究反应均以协同非同步的方式进行,且C—Si或C—Ge键总是先于C—C键形成.在硅苯或锗苯分子作为杂亲二烯体的[2+4]反应中,endo进攻方式的非同步性比exo进攻稍大一些,而后者比前者一般要稍稍有利一些.在硅苯或锗苯分子作为杂二烯烃的[4+2]反应中,反应非同步性的大小与产物中不对称的亲二烯体上的取代基与硅或锗原子之间的相对位置有关,且在动力学上总是非同步性较大的反应更容易进行一些.硅或锗原子上的CCl3或NH2取代基在热力学和动力学上一般有利于反应的进行,而C(CH3)3取代基的影响则相反.[2+4]反应在热力学和动力学上均远比相应的[4+2]反应容易进行,这与实验完全一致.苯和甲醇溶剂对所研究反应的势能剖面影响较小. 相似文献

The reaction of 4‐chloro‐1,2‐dimethyl‐4‐supersilylsila‐1‐cyclopentene ( 2 a ) with Li[NiPr2] at ?78 °C results in the formation of the formal 1,4‐addition product of the silacyclopentadiene derivative 3,4‐dimethyl‐1‐supersilylsila‐1,3‐cyclopentadiene ( 4 a ) with 2,3‐dimethyl‐4‐supersilylsila‐1,3‐cyclopentadiene ( 5 a ). In addition the respective adducts of the Diels–Alder reactions of 4 a + 4 a and 4 a + 5 a were obtained. Compound 4 a , which displays an s‐cis‐silacyclopentadiene configuration, reacts with cyclohexene to form the racemate of the [4+2] cycloadduct of 4 a and cyclohexene ( 9 ). In the reaction between 4 a and 2,3‐dimethylbutadiene, however, 4 a acted as silene as well as silacyclopentadiene to yield the [2+4] and [4+2] cycloadducts 10 and 11 , respectively. The constitutions of 9 , 10 , and 11 were confirmed by NMR spectroscopy and their crystal structures were determined. Reaction of 4‐chloro‐1,2‐dimethyl‐4‐tert‐butyl‐4‐silacyclopent‐1‐ene ( 2 c ) with KC8 yielded the corresponding disilane ( 12 ), which was characterized by X‐ray crystal structure analysis (triclinic, P$\bar 1$ ). The reactions of trifluoromethylated 2‐bromoenones and N,N′‐dialkyl‐1,2‐diamines have been studied. Depending on the structures of the starting compounds, the formation of 2‐trifluoroacetylpiperazine or 3‐trifluoromethylpiperazine‐2‐ones was observed. The mechanism of the reaction is discussed in terms of multistep processes involving sequential substitution of bromine in the starting α‐bromoenones and intramolecular cyclization of the captodative aminoenones as key intermediates to form the target heterocycles. The results of theoretical calculations are in perfect agreement with the experimental data. The unique role of the trifluoromethyl group in this reaction is demonstrated. 相似文献

Cycloisomerisation of polyenes such as diethyl geranylprenylmalonate [(E)‐ 1 a ], diethyl geranylphenylmalonate [(E)‐ 2 a ] and diethyl cinnamylgeranylmalonate [(E,E)‐ 3 a ] catalysed by bismuth triflate was studied from experimental and theoretical viewpoints. Several intermediates were isolated and characterised, and calculated transition‐state structures are proposed for the three reactions. The diastereoselectivity observed during the reaction of (E)‐ or (Z)‐ 2 a in favour of the formation of trans‐fused bicyclic products is discussed in detail. The nature of the active catalytic species derived from bismuth triflate was also investigated, and the formation of a hybrid Lewis acid/Brønsted acid catalyst with water molecules is proposed, supported by experimental and theoretical data. 相似文献

Kinetics and mechanism for the reaction of phenyl radical (C6H5) with ketene (H2Cβ?Cα?O) were studied by the cavity ring‐down spectrometric (CRDS) technique and hybrid DFT and ab initio molecular orbital calculations. The C6H5 transition at 504.8 nm was used to detect the consumption of the phenyl radical in the reaction. The absolute overall rate constants measured, including those for the reaction with CD2CO, can be expressed by the Arrhenius equation k=(5.9±1.8)×1011 exp[?(1160±100)/T] cm3 mol?1 s?1 over a temperature range of 301–474 K. The absence of a kinetic isotope effect suggests that direct hydrogen abstraction forming benzene and ketenyl radical is kinetically less favorable, in good agreement with the results of quantum chemical calculations at the G2MS//B3LYP6‐31G(d) level of theory for all accessible product channels, including the above abstraction and additions to the Cα, Cβ, and O sites. For application to combustion, the rate constants were extrapolated over the temperature range of 298–2500 K under atmospheric pressure by using the predicted transition‐state parameters and the adjusted entrance reaction barriers Eα=Eβ=1.2 kcal mol?1; they can be represented by the following expression in units of cm3 mol?1 s?1: kα=6.2×1019 T?2.3 exp[?7590/T] and kβ=3.2×104 T2.4 exp[?246/T]. 相似文献

The first examples of metal‐catalyzed extended Pummerer reactions through the activation of sulfoxides are described. The copper‐catalyzed reactions of ketene dithioacetal monoxides with alkynyl sulfides and ynamides provided a wide variety of γ,γ‐disulfanyl‐β,γ‐unsaturated carbonyl compounds with an accompanying oxygen rearrangement. The products can be easily converted into 1,4‐dicarbonyl compounds and substituted heteroaromatics. Herein, a divergent synthesis of a variety of 2α- and 5α-substituted furan derivatives from 2-hydroxy-1,4-diones is reported. By using appropriate substrates and an acid catalyst, the reactions occurred selectively through cyclization/1,6-conjugate addition or cyclization/Friedel–Crafts-type cascade reactions. A broad range of nucleophilic reagents (>10 types for the 1,6-conjugate addition for 5α substitution and >20 types for the Friedel–Crafts-type cascade reaction for 2α substitution), including alcohols, amides, furan, thiophene, pyrrole, indole, phenols, and many others, can successfully participate in the reactions, providing a universal strategy for a diversity-oriented synthesis of α-substituted furan derivatives. Deuteriation experiments and DFT calculations were carried out to support the proposed reaction mechanisms. Antifungal activity experiments revealed that products with an indole or 4-hydroxycoumarin core substituted at the 2α position showed moderate activities against Rhizoctorzia solani and Botrytis cinerea, respectively. 相似文献

The acid‐catalyzed reactions of photochemically generated tetrahydrocarbazole peroxides with anilines have been studied experimentally and computationally to identify the underlying reaction mechanism. The kinetic data indicate a reaction order of one in the hydroperoxide and zero in the aniline. Computational investigations using density functional theory support the experimental findings and predict an initial tautomerization between an imine and enamine substructure of the primarily generated tetrahydrocarbazole peroxide to be the rate controlling step. The enamine tautomer then loses hydrogen peroxide upon protonation, generating a stabilized allylic carbocation that is reversibly trapped by solvent or aniline to form the isolated products. 相似文献

The [4+2]-cycloadditions of α-nitrosoalkenes with thiochalcones occur with high selectivity at the thioketone moiety of the dienophile providing styryl-substituted 4H-1,5,2-oxathiazines in moderate to good yields. Of the eight conceivable hetero-Diels–Alder adducts only this isomer was observed, thus a prototype of a highly periselective and regioselective cycloaddition has been identified. Analysis of crude product mixtures revealed that the α-nitrosoalkene also adds competitively to the thioketone moiety of the thiochalcone dimer affording bis-heterocyclic [4+2]-cycloadducts. The experiments are supported by high-level DFT calculations that were also extended to related hetero-Diels–Alder reactions of other nitroso compounds and thioketones. These calculations reveal that the title cycloadditions are kinetically controlled processes confirming the role of thioketones as superdienophiles. The computational study was also applied to the experimentally studied thiochalcone dimerization, and showed that the 1,2-dithiin and 2H-thiopyran isomers are in equilibrium with the monomer. Dehydroacetic acid and triacetic acid lactone are known to be versatile substrates for the synthesis of a variety of azaheterocycles. However, their fluorinated analogs were poorly described in the literature. In the present work, we have investigated reactions of trifluorotriacetic acid lactone and hexafluorodehydroacetic acid with primary amines, phenylenediamine, and phenylhydrazine. While hexafluorodehydroacetic acid reacted the same way as non-fluorinated analog giving 2,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4-pyridones, trifluorotriacetic acid lactone had different regioselectivity of nucleophilic attack compared to the parent structure, and corresponding 3-amino-6,6,6-trifluoro-5-oxohex-3-eneamides were formed as the products. In the case of binucleophiles, further cyclization took place, forming corresponding benzodiazepine and pyrazoles. The obtained 2,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4-pyridones were able to react with active methylene compounds giving fluorinated merocyanine dyes. 相似文献

The geometries and insertion reactions of germylene H2GeNaF with R? H (R?F, OH, NH2, CH3) have been investigated at the B3LYP/6‐311+G level of theory. The potential barriers of the four reactions are ~52, 120, 184, and 257 kJ/mol, including the ZPVE corrections, respectively. Here, all the mechanisms of the four reactions are identical to each other; i.e., an intermediate has been located during the insertion reaction. The intermediate could dissociate into substituted germylane and NaF with the barrier corresponding to the dissociation energy. The NCO + C2H4 reaction is simple and prototype for reaction of the NCO radical with unsaturated hydrocarbons, and it is considered to be important in fuel‐rich combustion. In this article, we for the first time perform detailed theoretical investigations for its reaction mechanism based on Gaussian‐3//B3LYP scheme covering various entrance and decomposition channels. The most favorable channel is firstly the NCO and C2H4 approach each other, forming a weakly‐bound complex L1 OCN···C2H4, followed by the formation of isomer L2 OCNCH2CH2 via a small barrier of 1.3 kcal/mol. Transition states of any decomposable or isomeric channels for L2 in energy are much higher than reactants, which indicate that adduct L2 has stabilization effect in this NCO + C2H4 reaction. The direct H‐abstraction channel leading to P1 HNCO + C2H3, might have an important contribution to the eventual products in high temperature. These results can well explain available kinetic experiment. Moreover, reaction mechanism for the title reaction is significantly different from the NCO + C2H2 reaction which proceeds on most favorably to generate the products HCN + HCCO and OCCHCN + H via a four‐membered ring intermediate. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 1,1-Bis(dimethylamino)-1,3-butadiene ( 1 ) as a strong donor diene (E1/2 = 0.03 V vs. SCE, 1st IPv = 6.94 eV) is treated with acrylonitrile, dimethyl dicyanofumarate, and tetracyanoethylene. Cycloaddition with acrylonitrile is slow and requires elevated temperatures at which elimination of dimethylamine with formation of 1-cyano-2-(dimethylamino)-1,3-cyclohexadiene occurs. The reaction of 1 with TCNE at −40°C in acetonitrile is very fast and leads to the zwitterion 5 . At T ⩾ −20°C, 5 eliminates hydrogen cyanide to give a highly colored (λmax = 489 nm, lgϵ = 4.716) merocyanine. A zwitterion 9 generated from 1 and dimethyl dicyanofumarate can be isolated in crystalline form. The structural analysis shows that the zwitterions are produced by attack of the olefin at the antiperiplanar conformation of 1 . Both zwitterions which can be trapped as crystalline picrates cannot be converted to cycloadducts. These results suggest that cycloaddition is observed if zwitterion formation becomes energetically unfavorable. 相似文献

A palladium‐catalyzed three‐component reaction between N‐tosylhydrazones, 2‐iodoanilines and atmospheric pressure CO2 was developed whereby a tandem carbene migration insertion/lactamization strategy afforded 4‐aryl‐2‐quinolinones in moderate to good yields. Notably, a wide range of functional groups were tolerated in this procedure. This protocol features the simultaneous formation of four novel bonds; two C?C, one C=C and one C?N (amide), representing an efficient methodology for incorporation of CO2 into heterocycles. 相似文献
