Oxygen-17 NMR spectra were obtained from the four pairs of isomeric 2-R-2-oxo-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes, where R=OMe (2), NMe2 (3), H (4) or Me (5). The isomerism has been previously shown to be configurational at phosphorus, with one isomer of each pair having an equatorial phosphoryl oxygen (a isomer), and the other an axial orientation for phosphoryl oxygen (b isomer). Only data for the phosphoryl oxygen are reported. Substitution of OMe or NMe2 for H or Me produced upfield shifts of 27.9-41.8 ppm. In all cases, the chemical shifts of the a isomers were upfield of the b analogs, with differences of 7.9, 18.0, 20.3 and 8.6 ppm for 2—5, respectively. The absolute values of 1J(31P17O) were 5–9 Hz larger for the a isomers.  相似文献

17O NMR data are reported for 10 benzo[d]-2,2-difluoro-1,3,2-oxoniaoxaboratins derived from various ortho-hydroxyacetophenones and for 2,2-difluoro-1,3,2-oxoniaoxaboratins derived from related hydroxyacetyl naphthalenes and hydroxybenzophenones. The signal for the carbonyl-like oxygen for these compounds is substantially shielded and appears at 288 ± 22 δ. The single bonded oxygen signal for the 1,3,2-oxoniaoxaboratins appears at 122 ± 6 δ, except for the naphthalene analogs, whose signal appears at 146 ± 10 δ. The 11B NMR signal for these compounds is insensitive to structural changes and appears at 0.85 ± 0.25 δ. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The steric structure of four 2-hydro-2-oxo(thio)-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinane (DOP) molecules has been studied by means of Raman and IR spectroscopy. A characteristic feature of these compounds is the presence of a hydrogen atom as a "light" exocyclic substituent whose vibration is not mixed with the vibrations of the molecular skeleton.A. E. Conclusions Some 2-(3-chloroalkoxy)-1,3,2-dioxaphosphepanes were obtained. The 1H, 13C and 31P NMR data of several 2-R-2-thiono-1,3-dioxa organophosphorus molecules with 7-membered rings [R = Cl, OC6H5, C6H5, CH3, N(CH3)2] are reported. The conformation of the 7-membered ring is discussed by reference to the 3J(POCH) coupling constants which are compared with those observed in 6-membered 1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes. It is shown that caution must be exercised in using the 3J(POCH) angular dependence as a stereochemical tool. The 31P spin lattice relaxation times of some of these 7-membered rings have been measured and the values are discussed.  相似文献

5,5- Dimethyl-2-thio-2-phenoxy- and 5,5-dimethyl-2-thio-2-ethoxy-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes exist in the liquid state and in solution in a three-component equilibrium featuring two chair forms with equatorial orientation of the P=S bond differing in the orientation of the OPh or OEt groups and a chair form with an axial P=S bond. 13C and 31P chemical shift data for eight 2-methoxy-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes are reported. Examination of pairs of geometrical isomers, which differ only in the orientation of the OMe substituent on PIII, have shown that both the 31P and the 13C signals of C4,6 atoms appear 3–4 ppm at higher field when the OMe is axial compared with the equatorial isomer. This observation can be associated with the 1–3 syn diaxial interaction between the phosphorus axial substituent and the axial hydrogens on C4,6 and should thus constitute, in the future, a supplementary tool for the structural analysis of this kind of compound. Important long range δ effects were observed both on 13C and especially on 31P chemical shifts. It is suggested that the high field δe effects could reflect a direct stereoelectronic interaction between the P atom and the cyclic C-5 atom. This interpretation is supported by a study of the 31P…13C coupling constants and their stereochemical dependence.  相似文献

The structure of a series of I-O bonded bis(acyloxy)iodoarenes and benzoiodoxolones in chloroform solution has been investigated by 17O NMR spectroscopy and by density functional theory (DFT) calculations, employing the PBE0 functional together with the LANL2DZ basis set extended with polarization (d) and diffuse (p) functions. This combined approach allowed us to ascertain that, although these classes of lambda(3) iodanes maintain in chloroform solution their solid state "T-shaped" structure, a degenerate [1,3] sigmatropic shift of iodine between the two oxygens of the acyloxy groups occurs in solution. The energy barrier involved in this process differs in the two classes, thus causing significant differences in the 17O NMR spectra, at room temperature, of the two classes of compounds.  相似文献

The adsorption of triethylenediamine (TEDA) at 300 K is observed to occur via hydrogen bonding to isolated Al-OH groups on the surface of partially dehydroxylated high area gamma-Al(2)O(3) powder. This form of bonding results in +0.3 to +0.4% blue shifts in the CH(2) scissor modes at 1455 cm(-1) and a -0.4% red shift in the CN skeletal mode at 1060 cm(-1), compared to the gas-phase frequencies. Other modes are red shifted less than 0.1%. The isolated OH modes are red shifted by -200 to -1000 cm(-1) due to the strong hydrogen bonding association of Al-OH groups with an N atom in TEDA. Thermal desorption of adsorbed TEDA from the surface occurs in the range 300-700 K. Mass spectral and infrared studies indicate that the decomposition of TEDA occurs on Al(2)O(3) above 725 K, and that C-H bonds are broken, forming adsorbed species with N-H bonds which are stable to 1000 K or above. In contrast to adsorption at 300 K, adsorption of TEDA at 85 K results in the formation of a condensed ice of TEDA, which covers the outer surface of the porous Al(2)O(3) and which does not interact with Al-OH groups inside the porous powder due to immobility.  相似文献

Two (17)O-enriched hydrous magnesium silicates, the minerals hydroxyl-chondrodite (2Mg(2)SiO(4).Mg(OH)(2)) and hydroxyl-clinohumite (4Mg(2)SiO(4).Mg(OH)(2)), were synthesized. High-resolution "isotropic" (17)O (I = (5)/(2)) NMR spectra of the powdered solids were obtained using three- and five-quantum MAS NMR at magnetic field strengths of 9.4 and 16.4 T. These multiple-quantum (MQ) MAS spectra were analyzed to yield the (17)O isotropic chemical shifts (delta(CS)) and quadrupolar parameters (C(Q), eta and their "product" P(Q)) of the distinct oxygen sites resolved in each sample. The values obtained were compared with those found previously for forsterite (Mg(2)SiO(4)). The (17)O resonances of the protonated (hydroxyl) sites were recorded and assigned with the aid of (17)O [(1)H] cross-polarization and comparison with the spectrum of (17)O-enriched brucite (Mg(OH)(2)). Using all of these data, complete assignments of the five crystallographically inequivalent oxygen sites in hydroxyl-chondrodite and of the nine such sites in hydroxyl-clinohumite are suggested. The validity of these assignments are supported by the observation of a correlation between (17)O isotropic chemical shift and Si-O bond length. The (29)Si MAS NMR spectra of the two minerals were also obtained.  相似文献

The 17O NMR spectra of 17O isotope‐enriched tributyltin(IV) acetate (1) and dibutyltin(IV) diacetate (2) were recorded in various solvents over wide temperature ranges. Only a single 17O signal was observed for both oxygen atoms of the —COOSn—groups under these experimental conditions, in both non‐coordinating and coordinating solvents. The lithium amide derived from the chiral diamine (1R,3S,4S)-3-(1-pyrrolidinyl)methyl-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane, has been reported to catalytically deprotonate cyclohexene oxide and other epoxides, yielding chiral allylic alcohols in excellent enantiomeric excess. In this work, 6Li, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy have been used to study the aggregation of the chiral lithium amide in THF and the influence on the aggregation by the addition of additives, such as 1,8-diazabicyclo-[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU). The activated complex under catalytic deprotonation of cyclohexene oxide, that is, with excess Li-DBU and free DBU, is built from one monomer of the chiral lithium amide, one molecule of epoxide and one additional molecule of DBU. The reaction order (?0.97) obtained for the bulk base Li-DBU shows an inverse dependence on the concentration, suggesting a deaggregation of the initial mixed dimer to a monomer-based transition state containing a monomer of the lithium amide.  相似文献

17O NMR has been applied to the study of urea over a wide pH range, in fluorosulfonic acid and in magic acid (HFSO3SbF5). A 96 ppm diamagnetic chemical shift was observed on modifying the medium from an aqueous solution at pH 3 to a fluorosulfonic acid solvent. We attributed this shift to a protonation reaction at the urea oxygen having a pKa of 0.1. A 36 ppm paramagnetic shift was observed in magic acid relative to the resonance position in fluorosulfonic acid, which is consistent with the formation of a diprotonated form of urea. Values of transverse and longitudinal relaxation rates were found to be equal as a function of pH and to double on lowering the pH from 2 to ?1.  相似文献

The sensitivity of high-resolution 17O (I = 5/2) NMR spectroscopy of solids has advanced significantly in recent years. Here, we show that excellent results are now obtainable from milligram quantities of 17O-enriched materials, thereby allowing the technique to be applied to silicate phases synthesized under very high pressures in a multiple-anvil apparatus. We report the first 17O NMR study of beta-Mg2SiO4 (9.6 mg of 35% 17O-enriched material, synthesized at p = 16 GPa and T = 1873 K), a dense phase believed to have a significant role in the Earth's mantle. Using STMAS at magnetic fields of B0 = 9.4 and 11.7 T and MQMAS at B0 = 18.8 T, we have resolved and assigned all four crystallographically distinct O sites and determined their chemical shift and quadrupolar parameters.  相似文献

We report two-dimensional (2D) (17)O multiple-quantum magic-angle spinning (MQMAS) NMR spectra for four (17)O-labeled organic compounds: [(17)O(2)]-D-alanine (1), potassium hydrogen [(17)O(4)]dibenzoate (2), [(17)O(4)]-D,L-glutamic acid.HCl (3) and [2,4-(17)O(2)]uracil (4). The high spectral resolution observed in the 2D (17)O MQMAS NMR spectra allows extraction of precise (17)O NMR parameters for all crystallographically distinct oxygen sites. We demonstrate that rotor synchronization is important in obtaining high-quality (17)O MQMAS spectra for organic compounds. Several issues related to the potential of (17)O MQMAS NMR for large biomolecular systems are also discussed.  相似文献

We have studied the reaction between pz-CO(2)-Re(CO)(3)(bpy) and perchloric acid in acetonitrile by following the UV-vis and IR spectral changes in the reaction mixture. A fast equilibrium was found to be established between solvated protons, pz-CO(2)-Re(CO)(3)(bpy), and the protonated intermediate [pz-C(OH)O-Re(CO)(3)(bpy)](+) which finally yields pz-COOH and Re(CO)(3)(bpy)(CH(3)CN)(+) as reaction products. This intermediate has been characterized by UV-vis and IR spectroscopies and by DFT calculations. The fully optimized DFT/CPCM structures for pz-CO(2)-Re(CO)(3)(bpy) and [pz-C(OH)O-Re(CO)(3)(bpy)](+) were compared with the X-ray structure of pz-CO(2)-Re(CO)(3)(bpy). The structural parameters associated with the carboxyl group in the protonated intermediate are between those of pz-CO(2)-Re(CO)(3)(bpy) and pz-COOH. Multivariate curve resolution methods were employed to obtain the spectrum of the protonated intermediate and the concentration profiles from the full matrix of time-resolved UV-vis spectra. The proposed mechanism was numerically simulated by using Runge-Kutta methods. Model parameters were estimated by nonlinear regression fitting of the concentration profiles, yielding values of log(K) = 4.9 ± 0.3 and k = 0.16 ± 0.03 min(-1) for the formation equilibrium constant and the decay rate constant of the protonated intermediate, respectively.  相似文献
