We construct the integrable deformations of the Heisenberg supermagnet model with the quadratic constraints (i) S2=3S - 2I, for S ∈ USPL(2/1)/S(U(2)×U(1)) and (ii) S2=S, for S ∈ USPL(2/1)/S(L(1/1)×U(1)). Under the gauge transformation, their corresponding gauge equivalent counterparts are derived. They are the Grassman odd and super mixed derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equation, respectively.  相似文献

We present a specific heat and inelastic neutron scattering study in magnetic fields up into the 1/3 magnetization plateau phase of the diamond chain compound azurite Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2. We establish that the magnetization plateau is a dimer-monomer state, i.e., consisting of a chain of S=1/2 monomers, which are separated by S=0 dimers on the diamond chain backbone. The effective spin couplings Jmono/kB=10.1(2) K and Jdimer/kB=1.8(1) K are derived from the monomer and dimer dispersions. They are associated to microscopic couplings J1/kB=1(2) K, J2/kB=55(5) K and a ferromagnetic J3/kB=-20(5) K, possibly as result of dz2} orbitals in the Cu-O bonds providing superexchange (SE) pathways with JSE=6.5 K.  相似文献

Analytical expressions for the magnetization and the longitudinal conductivity of nanowires are derived in a magnetic field, B. We show that the interplay between size and magnetic field energy-level quantizations manifests itself through novel magnetic quantum oscillations in metallic nanowires. There are three characteristic frequencies of de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) and Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) oscillations, F = F(0)/(1 + gamma)(3/2), and F(+/-) = 2F(0)/|1 + gamma +/- (1 + gamma)(1/2)|, in contrast with a single frequency F(0) = S(F)plankc/(2pie) in simple bulk metals. The amplitude of oscillations is strongly enhanced in some magic magnetic fields. The wire cross-section area S can be measured using the oscillations as S = 4pi(2)S(F)plank(2)c(2)/(gammae(2)B(2)) along with the Fermi-surface cross-section area, S(F).  相似文献

The paramagnetic metallocenes and decamethylmetallocenes (C(5)H(5))(2)M and (C(5)Me(5))(2)M with M=V (S=3/2), Mn (S=5/2 or 1/2), Co (S=1/2), and Ni (S=1) were studied by (1)H and (13)C solid-state MAS NMR spectroscopy. Near room temperature spinning sideband manifolds cover ranges of up to 1100 and 3500 ppm, and isotropic signal shifts appear between -260 and 300 ppm and between -600 and 1640 ppm for (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra, respectively. The isotropic paramagnetic signal shifts, which are related to the spin densities in the s orbital of ligand atoms, were discussed. A Herzfeld--Berger spinning sideband analysis of the ring carbon signals yielded the principal values of the paramagnetic shift tensors, and for metallocenes with a small g-factor anisotropy the electron spin density in the ligand pi system was determined from the chemical shift anisotropy. The unusual features of the (1)H and (13)C solid-state NMR spectra of manganocene were related to its chain structure while temperature-dependent (1)H MAS NMR studies reflected antiferromagnetic interaction between the spin centers.  相似文献

在铯原子气室中采用偏振方向相互垂直且同向传播的线偏泵浦光和探测光,研究了铯原子D2线的泵浦探测光谱。由于在6 S1/2 F=3 – 6 P3/2 F’=2 超精细跃迁中存在多个L型塞曼子能级结构,从而产生了电磁诱导透明导致的吸收减弱;而在6 S1/2 F=4 – 6 P3/2 F’=5 超精细跃迁中则观测到了电磁诱导吸收。通过改变泵浦光的失谐量,在电磁诱导透明形成的吸收减弱凹陷和电磁诱导吸收产生的吸收增强峰内部均观察到了反常的吸收信号反转。  相似文献

We theoretically investigate a device consisting of two quantum dots(QDs) side-coupled to a quantum wire which has many physicalingredients of an artificial heavy fermion system. An extra parameter, the distance L between the two QDs, is introduced and it plays an important role on the competition of the Kondo temperature and magnetic coupling. Three different phases are found: antiferromagnetic phase, Kondo phase with spin S=1/2, and Kondo phase with S=1, depending on the distance L, the magnetic coupling, and the Kondo temperature. Quantum transport properties are qualitatively different for different phases: for the S=1 Kondo and the antiferromagnetic phases, the conductance tends to the unitary value 2e2/h; for the S=1/2 Kondo phase the conductance is strongly dependent on the distance.  相似文献

Hyperfine decoupling in electron paramagnetic resonance after strong microwave radiation is studied for S=1/2, I=1/2 and S=1/2, I=1 spin systems. A new 2D pulse sequence based on the hyperfine-decoupled DEFENCE (deadtime-free ESEEM by nuclear coherence-transfer echoes) experiment is introduced, which is distinguished by a remarkable reduction of the residual hyperfine coupling. The efficiency of this new decoupling experiment in comparison to the old pulse sequence is studied by means of numerical simulations. The advantages of the new decoupling experiment and its ability to simplify ESEEM spectra are experimentally demonstrated on two disordered systems.  相似文献

Heat capacity (C), magnetic torque, and proton NMR relaxation rate (1/T(1)) measurements were performed on Fe6:Li single crystals in order to study the crossings between S = 0 and S = 1 and between S = 1 and S = 2 magnetic states of the molecular rings, at magnetic fields B(c1) = 11.7 T and B(c2) = 22.4 T, respectively. C vs B data at 0.78 K show that the energy gap between two states remains finite at B(c)'s (Delta(1)/k(B) = 0.86 K and Delta(2)/k(B) = 2.36 K) thus proving that levels repel each other. The large Delta(1) value may also explain the anomalously large width of the peak in 1/T(1) vs B, around B(c1). This anticrossing, unexpected in a centrosymmetric system, requires a revision of the Hamiltonian.  相似文献

The groundstate energies of 1 - and 2-D infinite-U Hubbard models with a single hole are obtained by a simple method. It is found that the groundstates for an arbitrary finite system are multiple degenerate states with Sz = S, S - 1, …, -S (S = (N - 1)/2, N = even is the number of sites). Based on these results, it is shown that the hole and the spin-ffip(s) can not form a bound state, then it provides an alternate proof of Nagaoka's theorem.  相似文献

thin films are grown epitaxially on NdGaO3 (001) and characterized for x=0, 0.005, 0.02, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5. While films with x=0, 0.2 and 0.5 are insulating, the ones with x=0.005, 0.02 and 0.1 are semiconducting and show a p-type behaviour. Highly rectifying diodes composed of SrIn0.005Ti0.995O3 grown on SrNb0.02Ti0.98O3 thin films confirm this behavior. Therefore the use of In as a dopant in SrTiO3 is promising in the field of semiconductors.  相似文献

We show that spin S Heisenberg spin chains with an additional three-body interaction of the form (S(i-1)·S(i))(S(i)·S(i+1))+H.c. possess fully dimerized ground states if the ratio of the three-body interaction to the bilinear one is equal to 1/[4S(S+1)-2]. This result generalizes the Majumdar-Ghosh point of the J1-J2 chain, to which the present model reduces for S=1/2. For S=1, we use the density matrix renormalization group method to show that the transition between the Haldane and the dimerized phases is continuous with a central charge c=3/2. Finally, we show that such a three-body interaction appears naturally in a strong-coupling expansion of the Hubbard model, and we discuss the consequences for the dimerization of actual antiferromagnetic chains.  相似文献

We extend earlier studies of the effects of relaxation on the intensities of pulsed ENDOR signals by introducing a Davies/Hahn (D/H) pulsed ENDOR multi-sequence that corresponds to a series of Davies sequences with the preparation pulse 'turned off'. In this pulse train, the Hahn [pi/2, pi] detection pulse pair of sequence n-1 both generates the echo detected for that sequence and acts as the preparation portion of sequence n, in effect replacing the pi preparation pulse of the Davies sequence. We show both theoretically, through a master-equation approach, and with both (1)H(I=1/2) and (14)N(I=1) ENDOR experiments on the non-heme Fe enzymes, superoxide reductase (SOR) (S=1/2) and AntDO (S=3/2), that under conditions of high electron-spin polarization (high microwave frequency/low temperature) the D/H multi-sequence allows simplification of ENDOR spectra by suppression of nuclear transitions associated with the m(S)=+1/2 (alpha) manifold. As such suppression depends on the sign of A, it allows determination of this sign. The suppression as a function of the time between individual sequences is found to exhibit behaviors that can be classified into three regimes of the ratio of cross-relaxation to spin-lattice relaxation rates: strong cross-relaxation (X-case); comparable rates (XL); negligible cross relaxation (L). Interestingly, the ENDOR behavior of the S=1/2 SOR center indicates it is an L case, while the S=3/2 AntDO is an L case. Overall, the D/H protocol appears to be a robust and general tool for using relaxation effects to manipulate ENDOR spectra.  相似文献

A microscopic theory is presented for the local moment formation near a nonmagnetic impurity or a copper defect in high-Tc superconductors. We use a renormalized mean-field theory of the t-J model for a doped Mott insulator and study the fully self-consistent, spatially unrestricted solutions of the d-wave superconducting (SC) state in both the spin S=0 and S=1/2 sectors. We find a transition from the singlet d-wave SC state to a spin doublet SC state when the renormalized exchange coupling exceeds a doping dependent critical value. The induced S=1/2 moment is staggered and localized around the impurity. It arises from the binding of an S=1/2 nodal quasiparticle to the impurity. The local density of states is calculated and connections to NMR and STM experiments are discussed.  相似文献

We report the observation of two narrow structures in the mass spectra of the π(±)Υ(nS) (n=1, 2, 3) and π(±)h(b)(mP) (m=1, 2) pairs that are produced in association with a single charged pion in Υ(5S) decays. The measured masses and widths of the two structures averaged over the five final states are M(1)=(10,607.2±2.0) MeV/c2, Γ(1)=(18.4±2.4) MeV, and M(2)=(10,652.2±1.5) MeV/c2, Γ(2)=(11.5±2.2) MeV. The results are obtained with a 121.4 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector in the vicinity of the Υ(5S) resonance at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider.  相似文献
