This paper is focused on fission of Th-232 nuclei induced by protons with energies ranging from 20 to 140 MeV. This energy range is the most informative for studying the competition between asymmetric and symmetric fission modes. Experimental cross sections of production of radionuclides in thorium targets have been determined a year after irradiation. The corresponding theoretical values are calculated using the cascade–evaporation–fission model. The theoretical and experimental cross sections (literature data included) are compared.  相似文献

Stepwise excitation cross sections of the rare gases helium, neon and argon were obtained by an indirect method resting on the combination of experimentally determined excited species number densities of the rare gas atoms in the positive column of a low pressure glow discharge with the results of the theory of the positive column and electron kinetics. Furthermore a semiempirical expression of the excitation functions basing on the analysis of the Born-approximation and modifications as well as a formula of Vainstein is offered.  相似文献

Presently available experimental data on the total cross sections and on the cross sections for the elastic and inelastic scattering of nucleons, antinucleons, π- and K-mesons by atomic nuclei at energies higher than 50 MeV are summarized. The nucleus-nucleus cross sections for kinetic energies higher than 50 MeV/nucl. are also given.  相似文献

The most frequently used methods to reduce fusion and total reaction excitation functions were investigated in a very recent paper Canto et al. (Phys Rev C 92:014626, 2015). These methods are widely used to eliminate the influence of masses and charges in comparisons of cross sections for weakly bound and tightly bound systems. This study reached two main conclusions. The first is that the fusion function method is the most successful procedure to reduce fusion cross sections. Applying this method to theoretical cross sections of single channel calculations, one obtains a system independent curve (the fusion function), that can be used as a benchmark to fusion data. The second conclusion was that none of the reduction methods available in the literature is able to provide a universal curve for total reaction cross sections. The reduced single channel cross sections keep a strong dependence of the atomic and mass numbers of the collision partners, except for systems in the same mass range. In the present work we pursue this problem further, applying the reduction methods to systems within a limited mass range. We show that, under these circumstances, the reduction of reaction data may be very useful.  相似文献

核子-核子碰撞截面(σNN)是描述原子核反应模型中的重要物理量。 核子-核子碰撞截面包括质子-质子碰撞截面(σpp)、中子-中子碰撞截面(σNN)和中子 质子碰撞截面(σnp), 它们随着核子能量与核物质密度的改变而变化。人们在目前研究中提出了多种核子-核子碰撞截面关于能量和核物质密度的参数化公式,通过计算12C+12C的完全反应截面,比较了不同入射能量下使用各种核子-核子碰撞截面参数化公式对12C完全反应截面的影响。 The nucleus-nucleus cross sections(σNN) include the proton-proton cross section, neutron-neutron cross section, and neutron-proton cross section. σNN change with the variations of the incident energies and the densities. Some parameterizations of σNNas a function of incident energy and density have been proposed in the theoretical and experimental study of nuclear reactions. Through the calculation of reaction cross sections of 12C+12C at different energies, the effect of different σNN parameterizations in the reaction cross sections of 12 are studied.   相似文献

在双核模型的理论框架下系统研究了超重元素Z = 116 ~121 的蒸发剩余截面,计算过程中核子扩散由主方程描述,同时考虑了全熔合与准裂变的竞争。计算基本再现了利用热熔合反应48Ca+245Cm,48Ca+249Cf 和48Ca+249Bk 产生116~118 号同位素的合成截面。同样,分别以249Bk,249Cf 和243Am 为靶,以48Ca,50Ti 和58Fe 为炮弹,计算了Z = 119~ 121 号同位素的生成截面。结果表明,这些超重核的生成截面随着质子数的增大进一步变小。例如,利用58Fe+243Am 反应合成121 号同位素的最大蒸发剩余截面仅在fb 量级。基于对选择的几个反应系统的系统分析,发现双核系统在熔合蒸发过程中偶Z 奇N 和奇Z 偶N 复合核分别有强的3n 和4n 蒸发道。The production cross sections of superheavy elements with Z = 116~121 have been investigated systematically within the dinuclear system (DNS) concept, where the master equation is solved numerically to obtain the fusion probability. The competition between complete fusion and quasifission, which can strongly affect the cross section of the compound nucleus formation, is taken into account. The evaporation residue cross sections ER calculated for the hot fusion actinide-based reactions (48Ca+245Cm, 48Ca+249Cf and 48Ca+249Bk) are basically in agreement with the known experimental data within one order of magnitude. Similar calculations for the synthesis of superheavy elements up to Z = 121 are performed using the available 249Bk, 249Cf and 243Am as targets and 48Ca, 50Ti and 58Fe as projectiles. Their production cross sections are relatively small,especially for the 58Fe+243Am→301121 reaction. A systematic analysis indicates that the 3n and 4n channelsare respectively the most favorable fusion-evaporation channels in the synthesis of even- and odd-Z superheavy elements.  相似文献

We have implemented the method proposed by Aldrich and Pass (Aldrich, J.E., Pass, B., 1988. Determining radiation exposure from nuclear accidents and atomic tests using dental enamel. Health Phys. 54, 469–471.) to measure both the interior and exterior portions of a tooth in order to determine the diagnostic X-ray component of the total dose in the teeth. This was done using a modified nondestructive approach of Haskell et al. (Haskell, E.H., Hayes, R.B., Romanyukha, A.A., Kenner, G.H., 2000. Preliminary report on the development of a virtually non-destructive additive dose technique for EPR dosimetry Appl. Radiat Isot. 52, 1065–1070.) given in Hayes et al. ( Hayes, R.B., Haskell, E.H., Barrus, J.K., Kenner, G.H., Romanyukha, A.A., 2000. Accurate EPR radiosensitivity calibration using small sample masses. Nucl. Instr. Meth. A. 441, 535–550). Here only 5% of the total tooth enamel sample from an enamel crown was used for individual sample sensitivity calibration. A cavity response correction for the low mass samples was also used ( Hayes et al., 2000). The teeth were American wisdom teeth having unknown doses applied by the IAEA in the range of 0 to 1 Gy as part of the second international intercomparison ( Wieser, A., Mehta, K., Amira, S., Aragno, S., Bercea, S., Brik, A., Bugai, A., Callens, F., Chumak, V., Ciesielski, B., Debuyst, R., Dubovsky, S., Duliu, O., Fattibene, P., Haskell, E., Hayes, R., Ignatiev, E., Ivannikov, A., Kirillov, V., Kleschenko, E., Nakamura, N., Nathe, M., Nowak, J., Onori, S., Pass, B., Pivovarov, S., Romanyukha, A., Scherbina, O., Shames, A., Sholom, S., Skvortsov, V., Stepanenko, V., Tikounov, D., Toyoda, S., 2000. The 2nd international intercomparison on EPR tooth dosimetry. Radiat. Meas. in press). Final dose reconstruction estimates of the IAEA applied values showed a very high correlation (R=0.996). The approximate excess dose measured on the outside of the teeth relative to the inside was 49±35 mGy which is attributed to the diagnostic X-ray exposure given to the America wisdom teeth prior to extraction. The method used showed only a small dependence on the accelerating voltage of the X-ray source.  相似文献

Photo-ionization cross sections for the ground and the ≤5 excited states of lithium atoms are calculated in the photoelectron energy ranging from threshold to 0.5 Rydberg. The wavefunctions for both the bound and continuum states are obtained by solving the SchrSdinger equation numerically in a symplectic scheme. Our results are in excellent agreement with the recent experimental measurements and in harmony with other theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Total cross sections in positron-Mg collision are calculated in the range 2.0-60.0 eV using the momentum space coupled channels optical potential approach. The target ionization continuum and the positronium formation are included in the optical potential. 利用日本理化学研究所的放射性束流线RIPS, 测量了能量为79A MeV的17C在12C反应靶上的反应截面, 并同时得到了17C的移去1个、2个及3个中子的截面; 分别利用有限力程Glauber模型和少体Glauber模型结合壳模型的谱因子分析了反应截面和移去1个中子截面, 研究了17C的密度分布、结构和价中子布居. 反应截面和中子移去截面是两个相互独立的量, 通过对两者的分析, 都可以得出17C由芯核16C和价中子组成, 并且价中子主要处于d5/2轨道的结论. 总结了现有的碳同位素的反应截面和相互作用截面的工作.  相似文献

运用改进的量子分子动力学(ImQMD)模型嫁接GEMINI统计衰变模型对400 AMeV 36Ar与C、Al、Cu、Pb的弹核碎裂反应截面的奇偶效应进行了理论分析。分析结果表明,弹核碎裂电荷反应截面的奇偶效应产生在初级碎块的退激发过程中,而且退激发过程中的对能在奇偶效应的产生中起着重要作用。如果不考虑对能,弹核碎裂电荷反应截面的奇偶效应将消失。同时由于对能的作用使得弹核碎裂的中子反应截面也表现出明显的奇偶效应。  相似文献

Using the recently tested formula of Gryzinski electron impact ionization cross sections for several molecules are calculated. The additivity rule and the statistical approach by Fitch and Sauter are discussed. With new experimental ionization cross sections it is possible to derive the regression coefficients also for P, As, B, and Si, which are presented together with the previously obtained values as a function of the atomic number. It appears to be possible to obtain coefficients for other atoms by interpolation. First attemps to determine regression coefficients also for 20 and 35 eV electron energy are discussed.  相似文献

The reaction cross section, together with the one-, two- and three neutron removal cross sections, of 17C with the energy of 79A MeV on carbon target were measured using the radioactive beam line RIPS of RIKEN. The reaction cross section and the one-neutron removal cross section were analyzed within the frame of Glauber model. Both the analyses favor the dominant configuration of a 16C core (2+) plus a d5/2 valence neutron for 17C. The work for the neutron-rich carbon isotope on the reaction cross section σR and the interaction cross section σI on 12C target are summarized.  相似文献

The differential and integral cross sections for electron impact excitation of lithium from the ground state 1s22s to excited states 1s22p, 1s23l (l=s, p, d) and 1s24l (l=s, p, d, f)at incident energies ranging from 5 eV to 25 eV are calculated by using a full relativistic distorted wave method. The target state wavefunctions are calculated by using the Grasp92 code. The continuum orbitals are computed in the distorted-wave approximation, in which the direct and exchange potentials among all the electrons are included. A part of the cross sections are compared with the available experimental data and with the previous theoretical values. It is found that, for the integral cross sections, the present calculations are in good agreement with the time-independent distorted wave method calculation, for differential cross sections, our results agree with the experimental data very well.  相似文献

为了评估低剂量X射线连续辐射对BALB/c小鼠健康机体免疫系统的影响, 实验采用X射线全身连续照射BALB/c小鼠, 照射第一天剂量为0.07 Gy, 剂量率0.2 Gy/min, 之后每天照射0.08 Gy, 共照射12 d, 累积剂量1.03 Gy, 照射后24和48 h取血、胸腺和脾脏。 流式细胞仪检测免疫细胞周期和凋亡的变化, 胸腺和脾脏指数用重量法获取。 实验结果表明, 小鼠胸腺细胞的周期在照射后24 h被阻滞在G2/M期; 外周血淋巴和胸腺细胞周期48 h被阻滞在 G0/G1期, 细胞凋亡比例在照射后两个时间点都显著增加; 脾脏淋巴细胞周期24 h被阻滞在 G0/G1期, 48 h被阻滞在 S期, 细胞凋亡比例在24和48 h显著减少; 脾脏指数在照射后48 h显著减少。 故低剂量X射线连续全身照射BALB/c小鼠可激活免疫细胞不同的周期监测点, 引起免疫细胞凋亡比例发生变化, 造成一定的辐射损伤, 且这种影响随着免疫器官的不同而不同。 For estimating the effect of low doses X ray continual irradiation to immunity system of mouse, BALB/c mice were continually irradiated to 1.03 Gy by X rays at a dose rate of 0.2 Gy/min in 13 d. At 24 or 48 h after irradiation, the immunocyte cycle and apoptosis were determined by flow cytometry, and the thymus and spleen weights were measured too. The results showed that the cycle of thymocyte were arrested in G2/M at 24 h, the number of peripheral blood lymphocytes and thymocytes in G0/G1 phase at 48 h was up and the percentage of apoptosis had a significance increase in both of time points; the cycle of spleen lymphocytes was delayed in G0/G1 at 24 h, in S phase at 48 h, the apoptosis had a significance decrase at 24 and 48 h; spleen index declined significantly at 48 h. The results suggested that low doses continual X ray whole body irradiation could activate different cell cycle checkpoints, and result in some changes of apoptosis and some damages to immunocytes. The continual X ray irradiation affects the organs differently, it might provide experiment basis for radioprotection.  相似文献
