The electromagnetic wave-absorption properties of Nd3Fe68−xMnxCo18B11 (x=0, 1, 2) alloys obtained by rapid quenching from the melt was studied. The complex permittivity-frequency and permeability-frequency properties were determined in the microwave frequency regime of 2–18 GHz by vector network analysis. XRD spectra showed that only α-Fe diffraction peak was observed in the as-spun alloys. It is found that the acquired complex permittivity and permeability values match the microwave frequency when the 1 at% Mn content was doped. A minimum reflection loss of −6.9 dB is obtained at 2.7 GHz for composite Nd3Fe66Mn2Co18B11 with absorber thickness of 1.5 mm. The exchange interaction was attributed to the microwave absorption properties. The results suggest a new design of microwave absorbers based on electromagnetic wave-absorbing materials.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline Li0.5Fe2.5−xCrxO4 (2.5≤x≥0) ferrites were prepared by a sol-gel autocombustion route. X-ray diffraction was employed to confirm the cubic spinel phase formation of the ferrites. The lattice parameter decreases with increase in Cr content. The saturation magnetization, coercivity and remanance were studied as a function of Cr content. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss were measured as a function of frequency in the frequency range 20 Hz-1 MHz. Frequency dependence of dielectric constant shows dielectric dispersion due to the Maxwell-Wagner type of interfacial polarization. In order to understand the conduction mechanism, complex impedance measurements were carried out. The substitution of chromium plays an important role in changing the dielectric and magnetic properties of lithium ferrites.  相似文献

Microwave absorbing materials filled with BaTiO3 and carbonyl iron (CI) particles with various weight fractions (BaTiO3/CI particles=100/0 to 0/100) are investigated. The dielectric and magnetic properties of the absorbers can be tuned by changing the weight ratio of BaTiO3/CI particles in the frequency range of 2-18 GHz. Numerical simulations are also performed to design a single-layer and double-layer absorber. The minimum reflection loss of the composite filled with 20 wt% BaTiO3 and 60 wt% CI particles at 2.0 mm thickness can be reached to −42 dB at 4.1 GHz. With the weight ratio of CI particles in the composite increased, the microwave absorption peak shifted to the lower frequency region. By using a double-layer absorber structure, the microwave absorption performance of the absorber is enhanced. The result shows that the total thickness of the absorber can be reduced below 1.4 mm by using a matching layer filled with 50 wt% BaTiO3, and an absorption layer filled with 60 wt% BaTiO3 and 20 wt% CI particles, whereas the reflection loss below −10 dB can be obtained in the frequency range of 10.8-14.8 GHz and the minimum reflection loss of −59 dB can be obtained at 12.5 GHz.  相似文献

NiFe2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized by the polyacrylamide gel method with acrylamide as the monomer and N,N′-methylenediacrylamide as lattice agent. The average crystallite sizes of the nickel ferrites annealed at 500, 600 and 800 °C are about 10, 30 and 50 nm, respectively. Ferrite-polystyrene composites were made by hot pressing, and microwave-absorbing properties of the composites with different contents of 35, 45, 55 and 65 wt% ferrite were investigated by testing complex permeability and complex permittivity in the X-band (8.2-12.4 GHz) frequency range. All the parameters, ε′, ε″, μ′ and μ″, increase with increasing ferrite content. The reflection losses were calculated based on a model of a single-layered plane wave absorber backed by a perfect conductor. The composite with 65 wt% ferrite content shows a minimum reflection loss of −13 dB at 11.5 GHz with a −10 dB bandwidth over the extended frequency range of 10.3-13 GHz for an absorber thickness of 2 mm.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline La-substituted Zn–Cu–Cr ferrites Zn0.6Cu0.4Cr0.5LaxFe1.5−xO4 (x=0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06) were prepared by a rheological phase reaction method. The obtained powders were characterized by X-ray diffractometer, transmission electron microscopy and vibrating sample magnetometer. Permeability of the samples was investigated using an impedance analyzer. The results indicated that ferrite samples had the single spinel phase at low La content. Lattice parameter increased with increasing La content, while particle size calculated from Scherrer's formula decreased with increasing La content in La-substituted ferrite samples. The magnetic properties of La-substituted ferrites were strongly affected by La content. The saturation magnetization decreased, while coercivity increased with increasing La content. The variation of real permeability with La content was investigated in the frequency range of 1 MHz–1 GHz.  相似文献

La1−xSrxMn1−yFeyO3 nanocrystalline powders were prepared by the sol-gel method as a microwave absorption material. The reflectance, the dielectric loss tan δe and the magnetic loss tan δm of the samples were calculated according to the data of electromagnetism parameters measured by a microwave vector network analyzer in the frequency range 2-18 GHz. The dielectric loss tan δe and the magnetic loss tan δm had a step-change at a certain frequency so that the superiority of dielectric loss change into the superiority of magnetic loss, which indicated that anti-ferromagnetic clusters in the material change into ferromagnetic clusters by absorbing quantum of microwave electromagnetic field when the frequency of incident microwave reaches a certain value. The effective absorption bandwidth higher than 10 dB reached 6.2 GHz. As a result, the La0.8Sr0.2Mn1−yFeyO3 has shown useful applications as a microwave absorption material.  相似文献

The low-temperature magnetic properties of Fe1−xCrx nanoparticles with various chromium content (x=2.4−83.0 at%) have been studied. The multiphase particles (α-FeCr, σ-FeCr and Fe/Cr oxides) have a core (metallic)–shell (oxide) structure. The magnetic properties of the Fe–Cr systems depend on the chromium content as well as on the types and relative contributions of the constituent crystalline phases but, in particular, they are determined by long-range interparticle dipolar interactions. The role of the weakly magnetic σ-FeCr phase is also discussed.  相似文献

In order to gain better insight into the origin of the observed differences between Fe3−xCrxAl and Fe3−xCrxSi, alloys of Fe3−xCrxAl0.5Si0.5 (x=0, 0.125, 0.250, 0.375 and 0.5) were prepared and studied by means of X-ray and neutron diffraction as well as by magnetization measurements. Electronic structure calculations of these alloys have been performed by means of TB-LMTO-ASA method. It was expected, and experimentally verified, that the presence of silicon and aluminum atoms in 1:1 proportion will result in the independence of the lattice parameter on the iron/chromium concentration. All samples have been proved to be a single phase of the DO3-type of structure. Theoretical and experimental results indicate that chromium atoms locate preferentially in B sublattice. Cr magnetic moments are oriented antiparallel to Fe magnetic moments. Neutron measurements show a linear dependence of the magnetic moments of Fe(A,C), Fe(B) and Cr(B) as a function of Cr concentration. However the calculated total magnetic moment decreases faster with chromium content than indicated by the experiment.  相似文献

The effect of chromium content on the fundamental mechanical properties of Fe-Cr alloys has been studied by first-principles calculations. Within a random solid solution model, the lattice constants and the elastic constants of ferromagnetic bcc Fe1?x Cr x (0? · ?0.156) alloys were calculated for different compositions. With addition of Cr content, the lattice parameters of Fe-Cr alloys are larger than that of pure Fe solid, and the corresponding Young??s modulus and shear modulus rise nonmonotonically with the increasing Cr content. All alloys (except 9.4 at% Cr) exhibit less ductile behavior compared with pure bcc Fe. For the Fe1?x Cr x (0? · ?0.156) alloys, the average magnetic moment per atom decreases linearly with the increasing Cr concentration.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline Co2xNi0.5−xZn0.5−xFe2O4 (x=0−0.5) thin films have been synthesized with various grain sizes by a sol-gel method on polycrystalline silicon substrates. The morphology as well as magnetic and microwave absorption properties of the films calcined at 1073 K were studied using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. All films were uniform without microcracks. The Co content in the Co-Ni-Zn films resulted in a grain size ranging from 15 to 32 nm while it ranged from 33 to 49 nm in the corresponding powders. Saturation and remnant magnetization increased with increase in grain size, while coercivity demonstrated a drop due to multidomain behavior of crystallites for a given value of x. Saturation magnetization increased and remnant magnetization had a maximum as a function of grain size independent of x. In turn, coercivity increased with x independent of grain size. Complex permittivity of the Co-Ni-Zn ferrite films was measured in the frequency range 2-15 GHz. The highest hysteretic heating rate in the temperature range 315-355 K was observed in CoFe2O4. The maximum absorption band shifted from 13 to 11 GHz as cobalt content increased from x=0.1 to 0.2.  相似文献

The conducting protonated polyaniline (ES)/γ-Fe2O3 nanocomposite with the different γ-Fe2O3 content were synthesized by in-situ polymerization. Its morphology, microstructure, DC conductivity and magnetic properties of samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), four-wire-technique, and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), respectively. The microwave absorbing properties of the nanocomposite powders dispersing in wax coating with the coating thickness of 2 mm were investigated using a vector network analyzers in the frequency range of 7–18 GHz. The pure ES has shown the absorption band with a maximum absorption at approximately 16 GHz and a width (defined as frequency difference between points where the absorption is more than 8 dB) of 3.24 GHz, when 10% γ-Fe2O3 by weight is incorporated , the width is broadened to 4.13 GHz and some other absorption bands appear in the range of 7–13 GHz. The parameter dielectric loss tan δe (=ε″/ε′) in the 7–18 GHz is found to decrease with increasing γ-Fe2O3 contents with 10%, 20%, 30%, respectively, but magnetic loss tan δm (=μ″/μ′) increases with increasing γ-Fe2O3 contents. The results show that moderate content of γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles embedded in protonated polyaniline matrix may create advanced microwave absorption properties due to simultaneous adjusting of dielectric loss and magnetic loss.  相似文献

We have investigated the electromagnetic (EM) characteristics of CoxMn1−xFe2O4 spinel ferrite (where x=0.0, 0.5 and 1.0) nanoparticles (NPs)/paraffin nanocomposite material at 8-20 GHz. CoxMn1−xFe2O4 NPs have been synthesized by cetyltrimethylammonium assisted hydrothermal route using NaOH. A variation in complex dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability at room temperature with frequency in the range 8-20 GHz has been studied. Particles showed phase purity and crystallinity in powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. At the same time, CoxMn1−xFe2O4 NPs demonstrated a spinel cubic structure from XRD results. A reflection loss of −46.60 dB was found at 10.5 GHz for an absorber thickness of 2 mm. CoxMn1−xFe2O4 may be attractive candidates for EM wave absorption materials.  相似文献

SmCo5+x wt% Fe (x=0x=0, 5 and 10) nanocomposite powders were synthesized by mechanical milling and were consolidated into bulk shape by spark plasma sintering (SPS) technique. The evolution of structure and magnetic properties were systematically investigated in milled powders as well as in SPS samples. A maximum coercivity of 8.9 kOe was achieved in spark plasma sintered SmCo5+5 wt% Fe sample. The exchange spring interaction between the hard and soft magnetic phases was evaluated using δMH measurements and the analysis revealed that the SPS sample containing 5 wt% Fe had a stronger exchange coupling between the magnetic phases than that of the sample with10 wt% Fe.  相似文献

Fe1−xCox alloy microparticles with size 3-5 μm and novel flower-like shapes were prepared by a simple low temperature reduction method. The electromagnetic properties for the paraffin matrix composites containing Fe1−xCox alloy microparticles were measured using a vector network analyzer in the 2-18 GHz frequency range. As a consequence of large surface- and shape-anisotropy energy for the flower-like shaped 3D microstructures, the strong natural resonance around 8-12 GHz and remarkable dielectric relaxation were observed in the complex permittivity and permeability spectrum, which are dominant in the enhanced electromagnetic wave absorption (EMA) performance. It was found that both the electromagnetic parameters of complex permittivity and permeability and the intensity and location of absorption band were remarkably dependent on the Co/Fe molar ratio. The enhanced EMA performance was obtained in these Fe1−xCox-paraffin (x=0.4, 0.5, and 0.6) composites system. For the Fe0.5Co0.5 alloy, the reflection loss (RL) exceeding −20 dB was obtained in the broad frequency range of 5.4-18 GHz with a thin sample thickness of between 1.0 and 2.9 mm. In particular, an optimal RL of −59 dB was obtained at 3.61 GHz with a thin thickness of 3.6 mm for the Fe0.4Co0.6 sample. The Fe1−xCox alloy microparticles may be attractive candidates for applications of microwave absorption materials with a wide frequency range and strong absorption in the high frequency region.  相似文献

In this work carbonyl iron/La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 composites were prepared to develop super-thin microwave absorbing materials. The complex permittivity, permeability and microwave absorption properties are investigated in the frequency range of 8-12 GHz. An optimal reflection loss of −12.4 dB is reached at 10.5 GHz with a matching thickness of 0.8 mm. The thickness of carbonyl iron/La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 absorber is thinner, compared with conventional carbonyl iron powders with the same absorption properties. The bandwidth with a reflection loss exceeding −7.4 dB is obtained in the whole measured frequency range with the thickness of 0.8 mm. The excellent microwave absorption properties are attributed to a better electromagnetic matching established by the combination of the enhanced dielectric loss and nearly invariable magnetic loss with the addition of La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 nanoparticles in the composites. Our work indicates that carbonyl iron/La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 composites may have an important application in wide-band and super-thin electromagnetic absorbers in the frequency range of 8−12 GHz.  相似文献

The microwave absorption properties of nanosized double perovskite Sr2FeMoO6 and epoxy resin composites were investigated in the frequency range of 2-18 GHz using the coaxial method. The Sr2FeMoO6 composites with an optimal 20 wt% epoxy resin showed a strong electromagnetic attenuation of −49.3 dB at 8.58 GHz with a matching thickness of 2.15 mm. Moreover the optimum absorption frequency at which the reflection loss is less than −20 dB, which corresponds to 99% reflection loss of the incident microwave, is from 5.7 to 13.2 GHz with the matching thickness ranging from 3.0 to 1.5 mm. The excellent microwave-absorption properties are a consequence of a proper electromagnetic match due to the existence of the insulating matrix of anti-site defects and anti-phase domains, which not only contribute to the dielectric loss but also to the reduced eddy current loss.  相似文献

Electrochemical characteristics of a titanium nitride (TiN)-coated/nanotube-formed Ti-Ta-Zr alloy for biomaterials have been researched by using the magnetic sputter and electrochemical methods. Ti-30Ta-xZr (x = 3, 7 and 15 wt%) alloys were prepared by arc melting and heat treated for 24 h at 1000 °C in an argon atmosphere and then water quenching. The formation of oxide nanotubes was achieved by anodizing a Ti-30Ta-xZr alloy in H3PO4 electrolytes containing small amounts of fluoride ions at room temperature. Anodization was carried out using a scanning potentiostat, and all experiments were conducted at room temperature. The microstructure and morphology of nanotube arrays were characterized by optical microscopy (OM), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The TiN coatings were obtained by the radio-frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering technique. The depositions were performed from pure Ti targets on Ti-30Ta-xZr alloys substrates. The corrosion properties of the specimens were examined using potentiodynamic test in a 0.9% NaCl solution by using potentiostat. The microstructures of Ti-30Ta-xZr alloys were changed from an equiaxed to a needle-like structure with increasing Zr content. The interspace between the nanotubes was approximately 20, 80 and 200 nm for Zr contents of 3, 7 and 15 wt%, respectively. The corrosion resistance of the TiN-coated on the anodized Ti-30Ta-xZr alloys was higher than that of the untreated Ti alloys, indicating a better protective effect.  相似文献

BaFe12−x (Mn0.5Cu0.5Zr)x/2O19 hexaferrites with x=1, 2 and 3 were prepared by sol–gel process. The ferrite powders possess hexagonal shape and are well separated from one another. The powders of these ferrites were mixed with polyvinylchloride (PVC) plasticizer to be converted into a microwave absorbing composite ferrite with a thickness of 1.8 mm. X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), ac susceptometer, vibrating sample magnetometer and vector network analyzer were used to analyze its structure, electromagnetic and microwave absorption properties. The results showed that magnetoplumbite structures for all samples were formed. The sample with higher magnetic susceptibility and coercivity exhibits a larger microwave absorbing ability. Also the present investigation demonstrates that a microwave absorber using BaFe12−x(Mn0.5Cu0.5Zr)x/2O19 (x=2 and 3)/PVC with a matching thickness of 1.8 mm can be fabricated for applications over 15 GHz, with reflection loss more than −25 dB for specific frequencies, by controlling the molar ratio of the substituted ions.  相似文献

The doping effects of 3d transition metals on the magnetic properties of Os1 − xCrxAl2 are studied by first-principles calculations. The Os1 − xCrxAl2 alloys have high spin-polarizations at the Fermi level with the Cr concentration in the range of 0.0<x?0.625. At higher Cr concentration, the ferromagnetic phase transforms into a ferrimagnetic metallic phase.  相似文献

Series of CoxCr1−x thin films have been evaporated under vacuum onto Si(1 0 0) and glass substrates. Thickness ranges from 17 to 220 nm, and x from 0.80 to 0.88. Alternating gradient field magnetometer (AGFM) measurements provided saturation magnetization values ranging from 220 to 1200 emu/cm3. Values of squareness exceeding 0.8 have been measured. Coercive field may reach values up to 700 Oe, depending on the percentage of chromium, as well as the substrate nature and the direction of the applied magnetic field. The saturation magnetization value decreases as the Cr content increases. In order to study their dynamical magnetic properties, Brillouin Light Scattering (BLS) measurements have been performed on these samples. Stiffness constant value and anisotropy magnetic field were adjusted to fit the experimental BLS spectra. These results are analyzed and correlated.  相似文献
