The distribution equilibrium of the lead-cnha complex in the water-methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) system has been studied at 25 degrees . From graphical treatment of the equilibrium data, it was deduced that PbL(2) is the complex extracted. By use of the program LETAGROP-DISTR, values for the distribution and the stability constants of PbL(2) have been calculated: log K(DC) = 1.84 +/- 0.11; log beta(1) = 6.68 +/- 0.09 and log beta(2) = 10.28 +/- 0.09. On the basis of these results and those of previous studies, a method for determination of lead(II), copper(II) and cadmium(II) by atomic-absorption spectrometry, after extraction with cnha and 4-methylpyridine into MIBK, is proposed.  相似文献

The distribution equilibria of N-cyclohexyl-N-nitrosohydroxylamine (cnha) in the water-chloroform, water-hexane, water-methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) and water-isopentyl alcohol systems, and of the Cu(II)-cnha complex in the water-MIBK system have been studied. From the distribution data the dissociation and distribution constants of the reagent have been calculated; their values are pK(a) = 5.55 +/- 0.10; log K(DR) = 2.46 +/- 0.05 (chloroform), 1.76 +/- 0.11 (MIBK), 1.06 +/- 0.07 (hexane) and 1.48 +/- 0.06 (isopentyl alcohol). In the same way the values of the distribution and stability constants of the Cu(II) complex have been obtained; log K(DC) = 3.51; log beta(1) = 7.23 +/- 0.10 and log beta(2) = 12.00 +/- 0.08. For the determination of cnha in the aqueous phase saturated with MIBK, a spectrophotometric method based on the coloured complex formed by the reagent with Fe(III) has been established. Finally, an analytical method for Cu(II) by atomic-absorption spectrometry after its extraction with cnha into MIBK, is proposed. Its detection limit is 4.6 mug l ., its precision +/- 2.1% and its accuracy 97.5%. This method has been applied to the determination of the copper content in the surface water of the Congest River of Catalonia (Spain).  相似文献

From the precipitation borderlines in the pBi'-pH diagram, determined experimentally under CO(2)-free conditions, the stability constants of bismuth hydroxide, bismuthoxynitrate and bismuthoxyperchlorate have been established. The following values have been found Nitrate-medium: Perchlorate-medium: log *K(SO)(OH) = 5.2, log *K(SO)(OH) = 5.2; log *K(SO)(NO(3)) = -1.2, log*K(SO)(ClO(4)) = -0.9; log *beta(2) = -4.0, log *beta(2) = -4.1; log *beta(3) = -10.0, log *beta(3)= -9.9; log *beta(4) = -21.5, log *beta(4) = -21.5; log *beta(1,0,1) = 1.2, log *beta(1,0,1) = 3.5. The constants refer to precipitates equilibrated for 30 min, prepared at room temperature (23 +/- 0.5 degrees) in sodium perchlorate or sodium nitrate medium with an ionic strength of 1.00 +/- 0.01. Concerning error propagation it is stated that pBi' values calculated with these constants will have a standard deviation of about 0.1 log unit.  相似文献

The importance assigned to chelating agents in diverse areas has impelled studies concerning their development as related to metal ions representing a biological concern. The synthesis of di-isopropyliminodiacetoamide (D) is presented in this work. The acidity constant obtained for D was pKa = 5.79 +/- 0.04 with the aid of program SUPERQUAD. The equilibrium constants for D with Cu(II) were obtained with the aid of program SQUAD for CuD2+ and CuD2(2)+ species giving log beta1 = 4.795 +/- 0.002 and log beta2 = 8.374 +/- 0.004, respectively.  相似文献

The second dissociation constant of salicylic acid (H2L) has been determined, at 25 degrees C, in NaCl ionic media by UV spectrophotometric measurements. The investigated ionic strength values were 0.16, 0.25, 0.50, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 M. The protolysis constants calculated at the different ionic strengths yielded, with the Specific Interaction Theory, the infinite dilution constant, log beta1(0) = 13.62 +/- 0.03, for the equilibrium L2- + H+ <==> HL-. The interaction coefficient between Na+ and L2-, b(Na+, L2-) = 0.02 +/- 0.07, has been also calculated.  相似文献

The formation constants, log K(mab), for the reactions MA + B right harpoon over left harpoon MAB [where M = Cu(II), Ni, Zn or Cd, A = terdentate ligand and B = bidentate or terdentate ligand] have been determined. Potentiometric evidence is presented for the stepwise addition of the secondary ligand B to the 1:1 metal iminodiacetate (MA). The formation constants and the free energies of formation (DeltaG) have been calculated at 25 +/- 1 degrees and mu = 0.10. The order in terms of secondary ligands has been found to be ASPA > Gly > Aln and Gly > Aln > ASPA with iminodiacetic and nitrilotriacetic acid as primary ligands respectively (ASPA = aspartic acid, Gly = glycine, Aln = dl-alanine). The plot of log K(mab) against log k(mb)(2) shows a linear relationship between the formation constants of the ternary and 1:2 M(II)secondary ligand complexes.  相似文献

Uranyl (M)-selenate (L) complex equilibria in solution were investigated by spectrophotometry in visible range and potentiometry by means of uranyl ion selective electrode. The formation ML and ML(2) species was proved and the corresponding stability constants calculated were: log beta(1) = 1.57(6) +/- 0.01(6), log beta(2) = 2.42(3) +/- 0.01(3) (I = 3.0 mol 1(-1) Na(ClO(4), SeO(4)) (spectrophotometry) at 298.2 K. Using potentiometry the values for infinite dilution (I --> 0 mol 1(-1)) were: log beta(1) = 2.64 +/- 0.01, log beta(2) 3.4 at 298.2 K. Absorption spectra of the complexes were calculated and analysed by deconvolution technique. Derivative spectrophotometry for the chemical model determination has also been successfully applied.  相似文献

From the precipitation borderline in the pM'-pC(H) diagram, determined experimentally under CO(2)-free conditions, the stability constants of the mononuclear species of ytterbium hydroxide have been established. The values found are log *beta(1) = -7.7, log *beta(2) = -15.5, log *beta(3) = -23.2, log *beta(4) = -37.5, log *beta(5) = -51.9, log *beta(6) = -66.2 and log *K(S0) = 18.0. The data refer to fresh precipitates, prepared at room temperature (21.5 +/- 0.2 degrees ) in sodium perchlorate medium with an ionic strength of 1. The formation of polynuclear hydroxide complexes has been considered and rejected as unlikely to occur.  相似文献

The formation constants (K(ML)) in water of 1:1 complexes of benzo-18-crown-6 (B18C6) and 18-crown-6 (18C6) with Zn(2+) and Cd(2+), the sizes of which are much smaller than the ligand cavities, were determined at 25 degrees C by conductometry. Compared with Cd(2+), the crown ethers form more stable complexes with Zn(2+) although the size of Zn(2+) is less suited for the cavities. B18C6 forms a more stable complex with each metal ion than 18C6. Moreover, the extraction equilibria of these metal ions (M(2+)) with B18C6 (L) for the benzene/water system in the presence of picric acid (HA) were investigated at 25 degrees C. The association between L and HA in benzene was examined for evaluating the intrinsic extraction equilibria of M(2+) with B18C6. The extracted species were found to be MLA(2) and ML(2)A(2), and the overall extraction constants (K(ex,1) and K(ex,2), respectively) were obtained. The values of K(ex,1) for these metal ions are almost the same, but the K(ex,2) is larger for Zn(2+) than for Cd(2+). The extraction selectivity was interpreted quantitatively by the constituent equilibrium constants, i.e. K(ML), the ion-pair extraction constant of ML(2+) with A(-), and the adduct formation constant of MLA(2) with L in benzene.  相似文献

The distribution equilibria of the zinc complex with 5,7-dichloro-2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline in the water-chloroform system have been studied at 25 degrees . The influence of pH, reagent and metal concentrations, and the presence of sodium perchlorate in the aqueous phase has been determined. From quantitative evaluation of the extraction equilibrium data, it has been deduced that the complex extracted is the simple 1:2 chelate, ZnR(2), although at ligand concentrations higher than 0.3M, the self-adduct complex seems to begin to form. The extraction constant of the ZnR(2) species, refined by means of the program Letagrop-Distribution, has the value log K(ex) = - 6.15 +/- 0.07.  相似文献

The protolysis equilibria of 2-hydroxybenzohydroxamic acid, H2SAX, have been studied at 25 degrees C in different ionic media by potentiometric titration with a glass electrode. The media were 0.513, 1.05, 2.21 and 3.5 mol/kg NaClO4. The constants beta(-p)(H2SAX<==>H(2-p)SAX(-p)+pH+), combined with salting effects of NaClO4 on H2SAX deduced from solubility determinations, were processed by the specific interaction theory, SIT, to give equilibrium constants at infinite dilution, log beta(-1)(o) = -7.655 +/- 0.013 and log beta(-2)(o) = -17.94 +/- 0.04, as well as specific interaction coefficients b(HSAX-,Na+) = 0.12 +/- 0.01 and b(SAX2-,Na+) = 0.17 +/- 0.02, molal(-1).  相似文献

The electrode reduction reaction of cadmium malate complexes at various pH values and ligand concentrations has been studied. At pH < pK(1) the complex Cd(H(2)A), log K = 0.57, exists. At pH > pK(2) Cd(A(2-))(n) species exist, log beta(1) = 1.9, log beta(2) = 2.8 log beta(3) = 3.4. At intermediate pH the complex Cd(HA) exists.  相似文献

The formation constants of dioxouranium(VI)-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate [tricarballylate (3-), TCA] complexes were determined in NaCl aqueous solutions at 0 < or = I/mol L(-1) < or = 1.0 and t=25 degrees C, by potentiometry, ISE-[H+] glass electrode. The speciation model obtained at each ionic strength includes the following species: ML-, MLH0, ML2(4-) and ML2H3- (M = UO2(2+) and L = TCA). The dependence on ionic strength of protonation constants of 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate and of the metal-ligand complexes was modeled by the SIT (Specific ion Interaction Theory) approach and by the Pitzer equations. The formation constants at infinite dilution are [for the generic equilibrium p UO22+ + q (L3-) + r H+ = (UO2(2+))p(L)qHr(2p-3q+r); betapqr]: log beta110 = 6.222 +/- 0.030, log beta111 = 11.251 +/- 0.009, log beta121 = 7.75 +/- 0.02, log beta121 = 14.33 +/- 0.06. The sequestering ability of 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate towards UO2(2+) was quantified by using a sigmoid Boltzman type equation.  相似文献

The protonation equilibrium of the Tris(Hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (TRIS) has been studied using an automated potentiometric system. The temperature was kept constant at 25 degrees C and the ionic strength was 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 mol dm(-3) in NaClO(4). The experimental constants, obtained at different ionic strengths, were correlated by means of the modified Bromley methodology (MBM) and the thermodynamic protonation constant found to be log (0)beta = 8.07 +/- 0.01 . Those values together with some others for NaCl medium were used to construct a thermodynamic model on both molal and molar scales for the protonation equilibrium of TRIS.  相似文献

From the position of the equilibrium Th + PdEDTA <--> Pd + ThEDTA, the stability constant of PdEDTA can be related to that for ThEDTA. If log k(ThEDTA) = 25.3 is taken as the most reliable value currently available, log k(pdEDTA) = 25.6 +/- 0.2 is found (NaClO(4) medium, 21 +/- 1 degrees ). Repetition of the experiments at different chloride concentrations gives an estimated log K = 5.3 +/- 0.1 for the equilibrium PdEDTA+Cl(-) <--> PdEDTACl(-). The stability constants of ThEDTA and PdEDTA are not very dependent on ionic strength in the range 0.1-1.0.  相似文献

The reaction of 1-methylvinoxy radicals, CH3COCH2, with molecular oxygen has been investigated by experimental and theoretical methods as a function of temperature (291-520 K) and pressure (0.042-10 bar He). Experiments have been performed by laser photolysis coupled to a detection of 1-methylvinoxy radicals by laser-induced fluorescence LIF. The potential energy surface calculations were performed using ab inito molecular orbital theory at the G3MP2B3 and CBSQB3 level of theory based on the density function theory optimized geometries. Derived molecular properties of the characteristic points of the potential energy surface were used to describe the mechanism and kinetics of the reaction under investigation. At 295 K, no pressure dependence of the rate constant for the association reaction has been observed: k(1,298K) = (1.18 +/- 0.04) x 10(-12) cm3 s(-1). Biexponential decays have been observed in the temperature range 459-520 K and have been interpreted as an equilibrium reaction. The temperature-dependent equilibrium constants have been extracted from these decays and a standard reaction enthalpy of deltaH(r,298K) = -105.0 +/- 2.0 kJ mol(-1) and entropy of deltaS(r,298K) = -143.0 +/- 4.0 J mol(-1) K(-1) were derived, in excellent agreement with the theoretical results. Consistent heats of formation for the vinoxy and the 1-methylvinoxy radical as well as their O2 adducts are recommended based on our complementary experimental and theoretical study deltaH(f,298K) = 13.0 +/- 2.0, -32. 9+/- 2.0, -85.9 +/- 4.0, and -142.1 +/- 4.0 kJ mol(-1) for CH2CHO, CH3COCH2 radicals, and their adducts, respectively.  相似文献
