The extraction of hydrogen chloride by a secondary amine (B), Amberlite LA-1, dissolved in 1,2-dichloroethane was studied by two-phase potentiometric titration. The results, treated by a general minimizing program, indicate dimerization: 2BHCl(BCHl)2. The equilibrium constant of this reaction was calculated. The extraction of cu(II) from 6M hydrochloric acid by Amberlite LA-1 hydrochloride (BCHl) dissolved in 1,2-dichloroethane, was also studied. The extraction of cu(II) can be explained as due to formation of two species, (BCHl)2 CuCl2 and (BCHl)3 CuCl2, in the organic phase. The formation constants of these species were calculated.  相似文献

The disulfonamide ligands 1,2-C(6)H(4)(NH(2)SO(2)C(6)H(5))(2) (1) and 1,2-C(6)H(4)(NH(2)SO(2)C(6)H(4)-p-Bu(t))(2) (2), which are readily available in good yields from o-phenylenediamine and the corresponding sulfonyl chlorides, efficiently extract Pb(II) from water into 1,2-dichloroethane when used in synergistic combinations with 2,2'-bipyridine via an ion-exchange mechanism. The extraction was shown to proceed via the formation of a ternary Pb-sulfamido-2,2'-bipyridine complex. The X-ray crystal structure of the binary Pb-sulfamido complex 3 shows a coordination polymer with a stereochemically active lone pair on Pb formed by S=O-Pb axial coordination.  相似文献

The influence of ethanol on the distribution of thorium(IV) and uranium(VI) between solutions of nitric acid and solutions of Amberlite LA-2, Trilaurylamine and Aliquat 336-nitrate has been investigated. Increasing amounts of nitric acid and ethanol in the aqueous phase cause an increase of the acid concentration in the organic phase. This concentration can be calculated by a given formula for Amberlite LA-2. The distribution of acid and ethanol is discussed. The distribution ratios of thorium(IV) and uranium(VI) are changed by adding ethanol to the liquid-liquid-system. This can be explained by the shift of the equilibrium of the metal nitrate complexes and by the enhanced extraction of acid.   相似文献

The influence of methanol on the distribution of thorium(IV) and uranium(VI) between aqueous solutions of nitric acid and solutions of Amberlite LA-2, trilaurylamine and Aliquat-336-nitrate has been investigated. The amount of acid in the organic phase increases with increasing concentration of nitric acid and methanol in the aqueous phase. The concentration of acid in the organic phase can be calculated by a given formula for Amberlite LA-2. The distribution of methanol is discussed. The distribution of thorium(IV) and uranium(VI) changes, when methanol is added. This is explained by the shift of the equilibrium of the metal complex and by the enhanced extraction of acid.  相似文献

Uranium was quantitatively extracted with 4% Amberlite LA-1 in xylene at pH 2.5-4.0 from 0.001 M malonic acid. It was stripped from the organic phase with 0.01 M sodium hydroxide and determined spectrophotometrically at 530 nm as its complex with 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol. Of various liquid anion-exchangers tested, Amberlite LA-1 was found to be best. Uranium was separated from alkali and alkaline earth metal ions, thallium(I), iron(II), silver, arsenic(III) and tin(IV) by selective extraction, and from zinc, cadmium, nickel, copper(II), cobalt(II), chromium(III), aluminium, iron(III), lead, bismuth, antimony(III) and yttrium by selective stripping. The separation from scandium, zirconium, thorium and vanadium(V) was done by exploiting differences in the stability of chloro-complexes.  相似文献

The extraction behaviour of copper(II) and silver(I) with 2-(3,6,10,13-tetrathiacyclotetradec-1-oxy)hexanoic acid (TTCTOHA) was investigated at 25+/-0.1 degrees C and ionic strength of 0.1. The value of the logarithmic distribution coefficient, logK(DR) of TTCTOHA between octan-1-ol and aqueous phases was determined to be 4.13. Copper(II) was extracted with TTCTOHA into octan-1-ol as CuL(2), where L represents the anionic species of TTCTOHA. The logarithmic extraction constant, logK(ex(10)), was determined at -7.42. Silver(I) was extracted with TTCTOHA into octan-1-ol as AgL and Ag(2)L(2). The logarithmic distribution constant, logK(DC), of AgL was estimated to be 0.49. On the other hand, silver(I) was extracted into 1,2-dichloroethane as AgL and the logarithmic extraction constant, logK(ex(10)), was determined to be -2.24.  相似文献

A method is proposed for the extraction and separation of microgram amounts of uranium(VI) and lead(II) from sodium salicylate solution with high molecular-weight amines such as Aliquat 336, TOA, TIOA, Amberlite LA-1 or Amberlite LA-2 dissolved in xylene. From a critical study of pH, salicylate concentration, amine concentration, diluent and period of equilibration, the optimum conditions were identified. The method permits separation of uranium and lead from binary mixtures with metal ions commonly associated with them, the determination of uranium, and of lead in air samples.  相似文献

The system Hg(II)/Xylenol Orange/Amberlite LA-2 dissolved in 1:1 v v 3-methylbutan-1-ol/chloroform medium has been studied. A 3:2:2 complex is formed, which is suitable for analytical measurements at temperatures <18 degrees . This complex allows the determination of mercury in the range 0.19-5.5 ppm with a molar absorptivity of 2.12 x 10(4).mole(-1).cm(-1) at 600 nm and extraction pH of 7.4 (standard deviation 0.065 ppm). The proposed method has been applied to the determination of mercury in contaminated water with a high chloride content.  相似文献

The number of capriquat molecules per chromium(VI) atom in the chromate-capriquat ion-association complex has been found to be between one and two. The distribution ratio in the extraction of chromium(VI) with capriquat is dependent on the dielectric constant of the organic solvent, with a minimum at a dielectric constant of about 8. The absorption spectra of the ion-pair extracted into cyclohexane, carbon tetrachloride, benzene and n-butanol are very similar to that of chromate in aqueous solution. The absorption spectra of the chromium(VI)-capriquat extracts in these organic solvents gradually change to an absorption spectrum similar to that of HCrO(4)(-) in aqueous solution. Chromium(VI)-capriquat extracted into chloroform and 1,2-dichloroethane gives absorption spectra similar to that of HCrO(4)(-)in aqueous medium. The chromium(VI)-capriquat species extracted into 1,2-dichloroethane may be (Q(+))(2).CrO(4)(2-)(H(2)O)(n). In contrast, chromium(VI) is extracted with capriquat into the other organic solvents from ammoniacal medium as a mixture of (Q(+))(2).CrO(4)(2-)(H(2)O)(n) and Q(+).NH(4)(+).CrO(4)(2-)(H(2)O)(n). The spectral change is ascribed to the change of the extracted species from (Q(+))(2).CrO(4)(2-)(H(2)O)(n) and Q(+)NH(4)(+).CrO(4)(-)(H(2)O)(n) to Q(+).HCrO(4)(2-)(H(2)O)(n-1). The chromium(VI)-zephiramine species extracted is formulated as (Q(+), NH(4)(+))(2)CrO(4)(2-)(H(2)O)(n).(Q(+).Cl(-))(m). Molybdenum(VI) is extracted with capriquat into the same organic solvents as a mixture of (Q(+))(2).MoO(4)(2-)(H(2)O)(n) and Q(+).NH(4)(+).MoO(4)(2-).(H(2)O)(n).  相似文献

The rates of extraction of Zn(II) from hydrobromic acid solutions into benzene solutions of the liquid anion exchanger Amberlite LA-2 and those into methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) have been investigated. The distribution equilibria of this system have been also studied. Under the used experimental conditions the extracted species of Zn(II) have been proposed. The kinetic data indicated a first order reaction with respect to Zn(II) in both systems, nearly one with respect to HBr and from 0–0.38 for LA-2. In case of extraction of Zn(II) with methyl isobutyl ketone, MIBK, the reaction order with respect to MIBK was found to be 4 and with respect to HBr inverse first order. The rate constants of these extraction processes were determined and the rate determining steps were discussed in the light of the obtained results.  相似文献

As part of our ongoing project involving the study of (1-C(n)H(2n+1)NH(3))(2)MCl(4)(s) (where M is a divalent metal ion and n = 8-18), we have synthesized the compounds (1-C(n)H(2n+1)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s) (n = 8, 10, 12, and 13), and the details of the structures are reported herein. All of the compounds were crystallized in the monoclinic form with the space group P2(1)/n for (1-C(8)H(17)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s), P21/c for (1-C(10)H(21)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s), P2(1)/c for (1-C(12)H(25)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s), and P2(1)/m for (1-C(13)H(27)NH(3))(2)ZnCl(4)(s). The lattice potential energies and ionic volumes of the cations and the common anion of the title compounds were obtained from crystallographic data. Molar enthalpies of dissolution of the four compounds at various molalities were measured at 298.15 K in the double-distilled water. According to Pitzer's theory, molar enthalpies of dissolution of the title compounds at infinite dilution were obtained. Finally, using the values of molar enthalpies of dissolution at infinite dilution (Δ(s)H(m)(∞)) and other auxiliary thermodynamic data, the enthalpy change of the dissociation of [ZnCl(4)](2-)(g) for the reaction [ZnCl(4)](2-)(g)→ Zn(2+)(g) + 4Cl(-)(g) was obtained, and then the hydration enthalpies of cations were calculated by designing a thermochemical cycle.  相似文献

The (bis)dansylated sulfonamide 1,2-C6H4(NHSO2C10H6-5-N(CH3)2)2 (1) extracted Pb(II) selectively from water into 1,2-dichloroethane via an ion-exchange mechanism and showed fluorescence quenching upon Pb(II) extraction. The distribution ratios for metal extraction (determined by ICP-MS) for Pb(II) were 133-1410 times higher than those for other metal cations [Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II)] under identical conditions. Fluorescence quenching was observed upon Pb(II) extraction, which was dependent on Pb(II) concentration. The monodansylated control, C6H5NHSO2C10H6-5-N(CH3)2 (2), showed neither extraction nor quenching, indicating that the fluorescence effects are a direct result of Pb coordination to 1. The observed selectivity for Pb(II) is ascribed to the formation of a low-coordinate binary Pb(II)-Sulfonamido complex in the organic phase.  相似文献

Equilibria in the U(VI)H(2)OCO(2)(g) system in 0.5M sodium perchlorate medium at 25 degrees have been studied. By using thermal tensing spectrophotometry (TLS) and a very low total concentration of U(V1) (4 x 10(-6)M) information could be obtained on equilibria involving UO(2)(CO(3))(2-)(2) without complications due to formation of the trimer (UO(2))(3)(CO(3))(6-)(6). The experimental data allowed a precise determination of the equilibrium constant log K(3) = 6.35 +/- 0.05 for the reaction UO(2)(CO(3))(2-)(2) + CO(2-)(3) right harpoon over left harpoonright harpoon over left harpoon UO(2)(CO(3))(4-)(3). The interpretation of TLS data is briefly discussed, as well as the potential use of this technique for studies of the speciation of trace elements in natural water systems.  相似文献

The reaction equilibria [H(4)L](2+) + Zn(OAc)(2) right harpoon over left harpoon [Zn(H(2)L)](2+) + 2HOAc (K(1)) and [Zn(H(2)L)](2+) + Zn(OAc)(2) right harpoon over left harpoon [Zn(2)L](2+) + 2HOAc (K(2)), involving zinc acetate and the perchlorate salts of the tetraiminodiphenol macrocycles [H(4)L(1)(-)(3)](ClO(4))(2), the lateral (CH(2))(n)() chains of which vary between n = 2 and n = 4, have been studied by spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric titrations in acetonitrile. The photoluminescence behavior of the complexes [Zn(2)L(1)](ClO(4))(2), [Zn(2)L(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2), [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-O(2)CR)](ClO(4)) (R = CH(3), C(6)H(5), p-CH(3)C(6)H(4), p-OCH(3)C(6)H(4), p-ClC(6)H(4), p-NO(2)C(6)H(4)), and [Zn(2)L(3)(mu-OAc)](ClO(4)) have been investigated. The X-ray crystal structures of the complexes [Zn(2)L(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2), [Zn(2)L(3)(mu-OAc)](ClO(4)), and [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-OBz)(OBz)(H(3)O)](ClO(4)) have been determined. The complex [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-OBz)(OBz)(H(3)O)](ClO(4)) in which the coordinated water molecule is present as the hydronium ion (H(3)O(+)) on deprotonation gives rise to the neutral dibenzoate-bridged compound [Zn(2)L(2)(mu-OBz)(2)].H(2)O. The equilibrium constants (K) for the reaction [Zn(2)L(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2+) + A(-) right harpoon over left harpoon [Zn(2)L(2)A](+) + 2H(2)O (K), where A(-) = acetate, benzoate, or the carboxylate moiety of the amino acids glycine, l-alanine, l-histidine, l-valine, and l-proline, have been determined spectrofluorimetrically in aqueous solution (pH 6-7) at room temperature. The binding constants (K) evaluated for these systems vary in the range (1-8) x 10(5).  相似文献

Liquid-liquid extraction of platinum(II) with cyclic tetrathioethers   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The liquid-liquid extraction of platinum(II) with 12-, 14- and 16-membered cyclic tetrathioethers from chloride solution was studied. Bromocresol Green ion as a counter anion and 1,2-dichloroethane as an extraction solvent were used. The effect of thiourea on the extraction rate of platinum(II) was examined. Platinum(II) was hardly extracted with macrocyclic tetrathioethers in the absence of thiourea because of the slow extraction rate. The extraction rate of platinum(II) was considerably enhanced by the addition of thiourea. The extraction rate of platinum(II) with 16-membered cyclic tetrathioether was faster than that with 12- and 14-membered ones. Platinum(II) was quantitatively extracted with 16-membered cyclic tetrathioether into 1,2-dichloroethane within 5 h in the presence of thiourea.  相似文献

The binding ability of a chiral L-cysteinato cobalt(III) complex, [Co(L-cys-N,S)(en)2]+ (l-H2cys = L-cysteine, en = ethylenediamine), toward a cadmium(II) center, together with the construction of S-bridged CoIIICdII structures that are controlled by anions and pH, is reported. The reaction of Lambda(L)-[Co(L-Hcys-N,S)(en)2](ClO4)2 having a pendent COOH group with CdCl2 in a 1:1 ratio in water, followed by the addition of NaCl, gave an S-bridged CoIIICdII dinuclear complex, Lambda(L)-[CdCl4{Co(L-Hcys-N,S)(en)2}] (1Cl), in which a cadmium(II) ion is weakly coordinated by a thiolato group from a Lambda(L)-[Co(L-Hcys-N,S)(en)2]2+ unit, besides four Cl- anions. The corresponding 1:1 reaction with CdBr2 and NaBr yielded an S-bridged CoIIICdIICoIII trinuclear complex composed of an S-bridged CoIIICdIICoIII trinuclear cation and a [CdBr4]2- anion, (Lambda(L))2-[CdBr3{Co(L-Hcys-N,S)(en)2}{Co(L-cys-N,S)(en)2} ][CdBr4] (2), while a CoIIICdII dinuclear complex analogous to 1Cl, Lambda(L)-[CdBr4{Co(L-Hcys-N,S)(en)2}] (1Br), was obtained by the addition of HBr instead of NaBr. In the CoIIICdIICoIII cation of 2, a CdII center is very weakly coordinated by two thiolato groups from Lambda(L)-[Co(L-Hcys-N,S)(en)2]2+ and Lambda(L)-[Co(L-cys-N,S)(en)2]+ units, besides three Br- anions, with the trinuclear structure being sustained by an intramolecular COOH...OOC hydrogen bond. On the other hand, no S-bridged structure was obtained by the corresponding 1:1 reaction with CdI2 and NaI, giving only a mononuclear CoIII species with a [CdI4]2- counteranion, Lambda(L)-[Co(L-Hcys-N,S)(en)2][CdI4] (3). When Lambda(L)-[Co(L-cys-N,S)(en)2]ClO4 having a deprotonated pendent COO- group was reacted with CdCl2 in a 1:1 ratio in water, followed by the addition of NaCl, a one-dimensional (CoIIICdII)n polymeric complex, (Lambda(L))n-[CdCl3{Co(L-cys-N,S)(en)2}]n (4Cl), in which Lambda(L)-[Co(L-cys-N,S)(en)2]+ units are alternately linked by [CdCl3]- moieties through thiolato and carboxylate groups, was constructed. An analogous (CoIIICdII)n polymeric structure having [Cd(NCS-N)3]- moieties, (Lambda(L))n-[Cd(NCS-N)3{Co(L-cys-N,S)(en)2}]n (4NCS), was also produced by the use of Cd(ClO4)2 and NaSCN.  相似文献

Summary Vanadium(IV) and (V) can be quantitatively extracted with 0.2 mol/l Amberlite LA-2 in xylene at pH 3.0 from 0.02 mol/l malonic acid, stripped with 0.5 mol/l hydrochloric acid, and determined spectrophotometrically. Five other liquid anion exchangers (Amberlite LA-1, Primene JM-T, Aliquat 336S, TOA and TIOA) were examined as possible extractants. The extraction of vanadium(IV) was found to be quantitative only with Amberlite LA-2, while that of vanadium(V) was quantitative with Amberlite LA-1 and LA-2, Primene JM-T and Aliquat 336S. Eight common solvents were tested as diluents; of these hexane, cyclohexane, benzene, and xylene were found to be satisfactory. Vanadium was separated from elements that do not form anionic complexes with malonic acid by selective extraction, from those that form weak complexes by washing the organic extract with water, and from metals that form strong malonato complexes by selective stripping with hydrochloric, nitric, or sulphuric acid. The method has been applied to the determination of vanadium in steel, coal fly ash and fuel oil. The precision of measurement is within ±5% and the detection limit of the method for vanadium is 0.5 mg/kg.  相似文献

Reactions of Fe(CN)(5)L(3-) (L = 4-aminopyridine (4-ampy), pyridine (py), 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bpy), and pyrazine (pz)) with peroxydisulfate, Fe(CN)(5)L(3-) + S(2)O(8)(2-) right harpoon over left harpoon Fe(CN)(5)L(2-) + SO(4)(-) + SO(4)(2-), have been found to follow an outer-sphere electron transfer mechanism. The specific rate constants of oxidation are 1.45 +/- 0.01, (9.00 +/- 0.02) x 10(-2), (5.60 +/- 0.01) x 10(-2), and (2.89 +/- 0.01) x 10(-2) M(-1) s(-1), for L = 4-ampy, py, 4,4'-bpy, and pz, respectively, at &mgr; = 0.50 M LiClO(4), T = 25 degrees C, pH = 4.4-8.8. The rate constants of oxidation for the corresponding Ru(NH(3))(5)L(2+) complexes were also measured and were found to be faster than those of Fe(CN)(5)L(3-) complexes by a factor of approximately 10(2) even after the corrections for the differences in reduction potentials and in the charges of the complexes. The difference in reactivity may arise from the hydrogen bonding between peroxydisulfate and the ammonia ligands of Ru(NH(3))(5)L(2+) and nonadiabaticity observed in the Fe(CN)(5)L(3-) complexes.  相似文献
