We deal with asymptotic speed of wave propagation for a discrete reactlon-diffusion equation. We find the minimal wave speed c★ from the characteristic equation and show that c★ is just the asymptotic speed of wave propagation. The isotropic property and the existence of solution of the initial value problem for the given equation are also discussed. 相似文献

Using the methods of dynamical systems for the (n 1)-dimensional multiple sine-Gordon equation, the existences of uncountably infinite many periodic wave solutions and breaking bounded wave solutions axe obtained. For the double sine-Gordon equation, the exact explicit parametric representations of the bounded traveling solutions are given. This paper deals with the properties of positive solutions to a quasilinear parabolic equation with the nonlinear absorption and the boundary flux. The necessary and sufficient conditions on the global existence of solutions are described in terms of different parameters appearing in this problem. Moreover, by a result of Chasseign and Vazquez and the comparison principle, we deduce that the blow-up occurs only on the boundary (?)Ω. In addition, for a bounded Lipschitz domainΩ, we establish the blow-up rate estimates for the positive solution to this problem with a= 0. 相似文献

By the variable transformation and generalized Hirota method, exact homoclinic and heteroclinic solutions for Davey-Stewartson II (DSII) equation are obtained. For perturbed DSII equation, the existence of a global attractor is proved. The persistence of homoclinic and heteroclinic flows is investigated, and the special homoclinic and heteroclinic structure in attractors is shown. 相似文献

Three algorithms based on the bifurcation method are applied to solving the D4 symmetric positive solutions to the boundary value problem of Henon equation. Taking r in Henon equation as a bi- furcation parameter, the D4-Σd(D4-Σ1, D4-Σ2) symmetry-breaking bifurcation points on the branch of the D4 symmetric positive solutions are found via the extended systems. Finally, Σd(Σ1, Σ2) sym- metric positive solutions are computed by the branch switching method based on the Liapunov-Schmidt reduction. 相似文献

The historical superprocesses are considered on bounded regular domains with a complete branching form, as a probabilistic
argument, the limit property of superprocesses is studied when the domains enlarge to the whole space. As an important application
of superprocess, the representation of solutions of involved differential equations is used in term of historical superprocesses.
The differential equations including the existence of nonnegative solution, the closeness of solutions and probabilistic representations
to the maximal and minimal solutions are discussed, which helps develop the well-known results on nonlinear differential equations.

Consider the Poisson's equation ψ" (x) = -ev-ψ eψ-v-N(x) with the Dirichlet boundary data, and we mainly investigate the inverse problem of determining the unknown function N(x) from a parameter function family. Some uniqueness and stability results in the inverse problem are obtained. 相似文献

Multivariate failure time data arise frequently in survival analysis. A commonly used technique is the working independence
estimator for marginal hazard models. Two natural questions are how to improve the efficiency of the working independence
estimator and how to identify the situations under which such an estimator has high statistical efficiency. In this paper,
three weighted estimators are proposed based on three different optimal criteria in terms of the asymptotic covariance of
weighted estimators. Simplified close-form solutions are found, which always outperform the working independence estimator.
We also prove that the working independence estimator has high statistical efficiency, when asymptotic covariance of derivatives
of partial log-likelihood functions is nearly exchangeable or diagonal. Simulations are conducted to compare the performance
of the weighted estimator and working independence estimator. A data set from Busselton population health surveys is analyzed
using the proposed estimators.

This paper is concerned with the blow-up solutions of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation. Using the concentration compact principle
and the variational characterization of the corresponding ground state, we obtain the limiting profile of blow-up solutions
with critical mass in the corresponding weighted energy space. Moreover, we extend this result to small super-critical mass
case by the variational methods and scaling technique.

In this paper, we prove the global existence and uniqueness of the strong and weak solutions for 2D Navier-Stokes equations
