Reactions of 4-alkyl-2,6-di-tert-butylphenols containing OH, SH, COOH, and COOMe groups in their para substituents with hydrogen chloride and hydrohalic acids were studied. One-step transformations of 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-(ω-hydroxyalkyl)phenols to the corresponding 4-(ω-halogenoalkyl)phenols, as well as of 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid and its esters to phloretic acid were proposed. 4-(3-Mercaptopropyl)phenol upon heating with conc. HBr undergoes condensation to 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propyl 4-(3-mercaptopropyl)phenyl sulfide as the main product. Dedicated to the memory of Academician N. N. The reaction of 6-acetyl-5-hydroxyacenaphthene with methylhydrazine afforded 1,3-dimethyl-1H-6,7-dihydroacenaphtho[5,6-de]pyridazine. Its dehydrogenation with chloranil gave 1,3-dimethyl-1H-acenaphtho[5,6-de]pyridazine, which is a heteroaromatic compound with an essentially new topology of the ρsystem. The reaction of 3-methyl-1H-6,7-dihydroacenaphtho[5,6-de]pyridazine with 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone yielded a dimer containing the acenaphthene and acenaphthylene moieties of peri-annelated 1H-1,2-diazines connected in positions 1′ and 9.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The reaction of 2-aryl-5-acetoxy-4,8-di-tert-butyl-2H-naphtho[1,8-bc]furan with dichloromethyl ethyl ether in the presence of aluminum chloride gave rise to 6-formyl derivatives of the title heterocyclic system, and at the use of aliphatic acids anhydrides in the presence of perchloric acid 6-acyl derivatives were obtained. 5-(3,5-Di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,3,5-tetrahydrophenazine was synthesized by the reaction of 2,6-di-tert-butyl-1,4-benzoquinone-4-(o-aminophenyl)imine with cyclohexanone. The structure of the reaction product was established by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The benzylation of benzothiazole(oxazole, imidazole)-2-thiones with 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl acetate involves either the sulfur or nitrogen atom depending on the reaction conditions. The S- and N-benzylation products of benzazole-2-thiones are kinetically and thermodynamically controlled products, respectively. The use of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-benzyl acetate allows sterically hindered hydroxybenzyl derivatives of benzаzole-2-thiones to be generally synthesized under milder conditions than in known methods of their synthesis.  相似文献

Summary.  Diethyl 3,3′-di-tert-butyl-4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyrrole-5,5′-dicarboxylate was synthesized in four steps from ethyl 3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate. The CH2 hydrogens of the ethyl ester groups of the former are diastereotopic in the 1H-NMR, consistent with axial chirality of the bipyrrole and restricted rotation about the 2,2′-bipyrrole bond, due to the tert-butyl groups. An X-ray structure of the crystalline target compound shows the pyrrole rings are twisted out of coplanarity by 84.5°. Corresponding author. Summary. 2-(Arylamino)pyrimidin-4-ones were synthesized, silylated, and condensed with l,2,3,5-tetra-O-acetyl-β- d-ribofuranoside to afford the corresponding N 2-aryl protected isocytidines. Deprotection of the acetylated isocytidines using saturated NH3 in MeOH solution gave 1-(β-d-ribofuranosyl)-2-(arylamino)-4-pyrimidinones. Methyl 2-deoxy-3,5-di-O-toluyl-α/β-d-ribofuranoside was prepared and condensed with the previously silylated bases to afford the anomeric mixture of protected nucleosides. The pure β-anomers were synthesized with better yield by treating the sodium salts of N 2-arylisocytosine derivatives with 2-deoxy-3,5-di-O-toluyl-α-d-ribofuranosyl chloride. Deprotection of the latter anomers afforded the corresponding free hydroxyl derivatives. The synthesized free nucleosides are under antiviral and oligonucleotide investigations.  相似文献

(R, R)-(−)-N, N′-bis(3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene)-1,2-cyclohexanediaminocobalt(II) was encapsulated into MCM-22 using the zeolite synthesis method. The encapsulated catalyst proved to be active in the oxidation of α-methylstyrene with NaOCl with higher specific activity than the homogeneous catalyst. At the same time, this encapsulated catalyst was completely inactive in the hydrolytic kinetic resolution of racemic styrene oxide. This observation is in a good correlation with the assumption of the cooperative bimetallic mechanism proposed by Annis and Jacobsen.  相似文献

Products of the reactions of 4- and 2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butyl-benzaldehydes with malonic acid, diethyl malonate, and acetic anhydride in the presence of weak bases were isolated and identified. The reactions of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde with malonic acid and acetic anhydride in the presence of sodium acetate and piperidine gave 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid. The reaction of its 2-hydroxy isomer with acetic anhydride stopped at the stage of formation of the corresponding O-acetyl derivative, while in the reaction with malonic acid the corresponding substituted cinnamic acid and its lactone (coumarin derivative) were formed as intermediate products in a transformation sequence finally leading to 3-(3,5-di-tertbutyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-piperidinopropionic acid and 6,8-di-tert-butyl-2-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-chromen-4-ylacetic acid. Analogous differences were typical of reactions of isomeric 4- and 2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylbenzaldehydes with diethyl malonate. The transformations of the 2-hydroxy isomer were accompanied by hydrolysis and formation of an adduct of intermediate coumarin derivative with diethyl malonate and piperidine.  相似文献

Dialkyl [(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-oxocyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)methyl]phosphonates reacted with phenol and benzenediols in the presence of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid to give products of electrophilic substitution in the benzene ring, the corresponding diarylmethylphosphonates or [phenylenebis(arylmethylene)]- diphosphonates. The reaction of diphenyl [(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-oxocyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene)methyl]phosphonate with 2-methylbenzene-1,3-diol at a ratio of 1: 1 afforded 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-hydroxy-7-methyl-2-phenoxy-2,3-dihydro-1,2λ5-benzoxaphosphol-6-one.  相似文献

The kinetics of catalytic alkylation of 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol (ArOH) with methyl acrylate (MA) in the presence of potassium 2,6-di-tert-butylphenoxide (ArOK) depends on the method for the preparation of ArOK. The reaction of ArOH with KOH at temperatures > 180 °C affords monomeric ArOK, whose properties differ from those in the case of potassium 2,6-di-tert-butylphenoxide synthesized by the earlier methods. The regularities of ArOH alkylation depend on the ArOK concentration, the ArOH: MA ratio, and the effect of microadditives of polar solvents. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Heating of an equimolar mixture of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone with thiosalicylic acid led to 2-[(4,6-di-tert-butyl-2,3-dihydroxyphenyl)thio]benzoic acid. In the case of β-mercaptopropionic acid, 2-[(4,6-di-tert-butyl-2,3-dihydroxyphenyl)thio]propionic acid was formed, which upon reflux in Ac2O was converted to 6,8-di-tert-butyl-9-hydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,5benzoxathiepin-2-one.  相似文献

Oxidation of amalgamated magnesium metal with 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone (1) in different aprotic organic solvents afforded magnesium catecholate and bis-o-semiquinolate complexes. The catecholate derivatives of magnesium CatMgL2 (Cat is the 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone dianion, L = THF or Py) were synthesized in high yields in pyridine and tetrahydrofuran, respectively. The reactions in diethyl ether or dimethoxyethane produced hexacoordinated metal bis-o-semiquinolates SQ2MgLn (SQ is the 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone radical anion, L = Et2O, n = 2; L = DME, n = 1). The reaction with the use of toluene as the solvent gave a magnesium bis-o-semiquinolate complex containing the coordinated unreduced o-quinone molecule. Alkaline hydrolysis of diethyl N-acetylamino(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)malonate is accompanied by decarboxylation. The efficiency of this process depends on the temperature and ratio of the reactants. A possibility of tautomerism with migration of the proton of phenolic hydroxyl and the influence of the structure on the antioxidation properties were considered on the basis of analysis of the IR spectral data and quantum chemical (PM6) calculation of the structures. The energies of homolysis of the O-H bond of phenolic hydroxyl were calculated for a series of the synthesized compounds. It is proposed to predict the antioxidation activity on the basis of these values.  相似文献

Reaction of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone with 5-amino-4-chloroquinolines gave derivatives of a new fused heterocyclic system, substituted quinolino[4,5-bc][1,5]benzoxazepines. The molecular structure of 9,11-di-tert-butyl-2,4,6-trimethyl-7H-quinolino[4,5-bc][1,5]benzoxazepine was determined by X-ray analysis. 3,5-Di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone reacted with o-nitro-, o-acyl-, and o-methoxycarbonylanilines and some amino-substituted nitrogen-containing heterocycles to form the corresponding sterically hindered N-aryl-(hetaryl)-o-aminophenols. Di-tert-butyl-substituted phenoxazines were obtained as a result of thermal cyclization of intermediately formed quinone imines.  相似文献

The polymerization of methyl methacrylate initiated by dicyclohexyl peroxydicarbonate at 30 °C was studied in the presence of tri-n-butylboron and a series of quinones, namely, p-benzoquinone, chloranil, and 2,5-di-tert-butyl-p-benzoquinone, whose concentration changed from 0.25 to 2.00 mol.%. The initial polymerization rate and molecular weight of poly(methyl methacrylate) depend on the structure and concentration of quinone. The growth radicals react with p-benzoquinone and chloranil predominantly at the C=C bond, while they react at the C=O bond of 2,5-di-tert-butyl-p-benzoquinone. The terminal stable oxygen-centered radicals that formed react with alkylborane, terminating reaction chains and generating alkyl radicals into the bulk. The kinetics of photoinduced reduction of a series of 3,5- and 3,6-di-tert-butylbenzoquinones-1,2 was studied in the presence of N,N-dimethylaniline, its deuterated analog, and a series of para-substituted N, N-dimethylanilines. On passing from the endothermic to the exothermic range of the free energy of electron transfer ΔG e , the effective rate constants k H and k D and the quantum yields ϕH and ϕD of the reaction varied nonmonotonically with a maximum at ΔG e of approximately +0.1 eV. For the reactant pairs relevant to the ascending (left-hand) branch of the plot k H = fG e ), the H/D isotope effect takes place, varying from two to five in magnitude. A number of paramagnetic derivatives of [6-tert-butyl-4-(5-tert-butyl-2-methyl-3,4-dioxocyclohexa-1,5-dien-1-yl)-3-methylcatecholato]triphenylantimony(v) were investigated by ESR spectroscopy. The reactions of this complex with Cp2Co or LiCl in the presence of Hgmetal. lead to the formation of free (nonchelated) radical anion semiquiones. Chelated complexes are formed in the case of Tl(Hg), Mn2(CO)10, Re2(CO)10, Sn2Ph6, Cu(met.), and CuCl + dppfc (dppfc is bis-diphenylphosphinoferrocene). Dedicated to Academician A. L.
