The synthesis, crystal structure, and physical characterization of five new radical salts formed by the organic donor bis(ethylenediseleno)tetrathiafulvalene (BEST) and the paramagnetic tris(oxalato)metalate anions [M(C2O4)3]3- (M = FeIII and CrIII) are reported. The salts isolated are (BEST)4[M(C2O4)3].PhCOOH.H2O with MIII = Cr (1) or Fe (2) (crystal data: 1, triclinic, space group P(-)1 with a = 14.0999(4) A, b = 15.3464(4) A, c =19.5000(4) A, alpha = 76.711(5) degrees, beta = 71.688(5) degrees, gamma = 88.545(5) degrees, V = 3893.5(2) A3, and Z = 2; 2, triclinic, space group P(-)1 with a = 14.0326(3) A, b =15.1981(4) A, c =19.4106(4) A, alpha = 76.739(5) degrees, beta = 71.938(5) degrees, gamma = 88.845(5) degrees, V = 3824.9(2) A3, and Z = 2), (BEST)4[M(C2O4)3].1.5H2O with MIII = Cr (3) or Fe (4) (crystal data: 3, monoclinic, space group C2/m with a = 33.7480(10) A, b =12.3151(7) A, c = 8.8218(5) A, beta = 99.674(5) degrees, V = 3614.3(3) A3, and Z = 2; 4, monoclinic, space group C2/m with a = 33.659(6) A, b =12.248(2) A, c = 8.759(2) A, beta = 99.74(3) degrees, V = 3558.9(12) A3, and Z = 2), and (BEST)9[Fe(C2O4)3]2.7H2O (5) (crystal data: triclinic, space group P(-)1 with a =12.6993(3) A, b =18.7564(4) A, c = 18.7675(4) A, alpha = 75.649(5) degrees, beta = 107.178(5) degrees, gamma = 79.527(5) degrees, V = 3977.5(3) A3, and Z = 1). The structures of all these salts consist of alternating layers of the organic donors and tris(oxalato)metalate anions. In 1 and 2 the anionic layers contain also benzoic acid molecules H-bonded to the terminal oxygen atoms of the anions. In all salts the organic layers adopt beta-type packings. Along the parallel stacks the donors form dimers in 3 and 4, trimers in 5, and tetramers in 1 and 2. All the compounds are paramagnetic semiconductors with high room-temperature conductivities and magnetic susceptibilities dominated by the Fe- or Cr-containing anions.  相似文献

The compounds Cp2Ln[N(QPPh2)2] (Ln = La (1), Gd (2), Er (3), or Yb (4) for Q = Se, Ln = Yb (5) for Q = S) have been synthesized from the corresponding rare-earth tris(cyclopentadienyl) compound and H[N(QPPh2)2]. The structures of compounds 1, 2, 3, and 5, as determined by X-ray crystallography, consist of a Cp2Ln fragment, coordinated eta 3 through two chalcogen atoms and an N atom of the imidodiphosphinochalcogenido ligand [N(QPPh2)2]-. In compound 4, the Cp2Yb moiety is coordinated eta 2 through the two Se atoms of the [N(SePPh2)2]-ligand. 31P and 77Se (for 1) NMR spectroscopies lend insight into the solution nature of these species. Novel alkaline earth metal aryl-substituted silylamides were prepared using alkane (Mg) and salt elimination reactions (Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba). The salt elimination regime involved the treatment of the alkaline earth metal iodides with 2 equiv of the respective potassium amide KNDiip(SiMe(3)), (Diip = 2,6-i-Pr(2)C(6)H(3)). The organomagnesium source for the alkane elimination was ((n)()Bu/(s)()Bu)(2)Mg. All compounds were characterized using (1)H, (13)C NMR, and IR spectroscopy, in addition to X-ray crystallography (except Mg[NDiip(SiMe(3))](2)THF(2)). Two new bent bis(cyanophenyl)oxadiazole ligands, 2,5-bis(4-cyanophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (L7) and 2,5-bis(3-cyanophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (L8), were synthesized. The coordination chemistry of these ligands with various Ag(I) salts has been investigated. Treatment of the hydrosulfido-bridged titanium-ruthenium heterobimetallic complex [Cp2Ti(mu2-SH)2RuCl(eta5-C5Me5)] (1; Cp = eta5-C5H5) with an excess of triethylamine followed by addition of [RuCl2(PPh3)3] and [[(cod)M]2(mu2-Cl)2] (M = Rh, Ir; cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) led to the formation of the TiRu2 and TiRuM mixed-metal sulfido clusters [(CpTi)[(eta5-C5Me5)Ru][Ru(PPh3)2](mu3-S)2(mu2-Cl)2] (3) and [(CpTi)[(eta5-C5Me5)Ru][M(cod)](mu3-S)2(mu2-Cl)] (M = Rh (4a), Ir (4b)), respectively. On the other hand, the reactions of 1 with [M(PPh3)4] (M = Pd, Pt) afforded the TiRuM trinuclear clusters [(CpTiCl)[(eta5-C5Me5)Ru][M(PPh3)2](mu3-S)(mu2-S)(mu2-H)] (M = Pd (5a), Pt (5b)) with an unprecedented M3(mu3-S)(mu2-S) core. The detailed structures of these triangular clusters 3-5 have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Six new homodinuclear lanthanide(III) complexes with a flexible tripodal carboxylate ligand (H(3)L), of formulae [Ln(2)L(2)(DMF)(4)]·4DMF (Ln = La (1), Nd (2), Eu (3), Gd (4), Tb (5), Dy (6), DMF = N, N-Dimethylformamide) have been synthesized. Among them, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, which crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 13.309(2) ?, b = 27.404(4) ?, c = 16.686(3) ?, β = 105.115(2) and V = 5875.2(17) ?(3) for 1, a = 13.3016(5) ?, b = 27.1952(12) ?, c = 16.6339(7) ?, β = 105.030(2) and V = 5811.3(4) ?(3) for 2, a = 13.2797(10) ?, b = 27.072(2) ?, c = 16.6564(13) ?, β = 104.9390(10) and V = 5785.7(8) ?(3) for 3, a = 13.2855(3) ?, b = 27.0074(6) ?, c = 16.6357(3) ?, β = 104.9790(10) and V = 5766.2(2) ?(3) for 4, a = 13.2837(5) ?, b = 26.9105(10) ?, c = 16.6066(6) ?, β = 104.917(2) and V = 5736.3(4) ?(3) for 6. The crystal structures reveal that these complexes are isostructural, and molecules are connected from 0D to 3D supramolecular structures by hydrogen bonds. All of them were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, XRD and TGA. Unusually, non-luminescent Tb(III) complex was obtained. The photophysical property of the Eu(III) complex and the magnetic property of Gd(III) complex are investigated and discussed in detail.  相似文献

A series of optically active silatrane derivatives, [Si{N(CHRCH(2)O)(CH(2)CH(2)O)(2)}X] (R = Me, i-Pr; X = Ph, OMe) has been synthesized by the reaction of optically active triethanolamine derivatives with XSi(OMe)(3), and characterized by (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, (29)Si NMR, and mass spectroscopy, and the structures of six compounds have been determined by X-ray analysis. Molecular mechanics methods have also been employed to obtain the energy-minimized structures. The (29)Si NMR chemical shifts and the lengths of Si-N determined by X-ray analysis are sensitive to the bulkiness of the substituent (R). The Si-X bond lengths (X: trans position to nitrogen) do not appreciably differ from one another. The MM2 calculations indicated that the substituent exists in the equatorial position, and the results are in agreement with those of X-ray analysis and (1)H NMR spectroscopy. The reaction of chiral 1,2-bis(2-pyridylethynyl)benzene ligands with copper(I) ions in dichloromethane at room temperature gives rise to the formation of molecular rectangular boxes in high yields. The structures of these complexes were confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The compound CL1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1, with a = 13.707(4) A, b = 14.891(3) A, c = 12.030(1) A, alpha = 101.65(2) degrees, beta = 115.08(2) degrees, gamma = 97.66(1) degrees, V = 2110.8(2) A(3), Z = 1 (T = 288 K). The compound CL2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1, with a = 13.539(4) A, b = 14.755(2) A, c = 11.951(2) A, alpha = 101.70(1) degrees, beta = 115.11(1) degrees, gamma = 97.44(2) degrees, V = 2053.8(8) A(3), Z = 1 (T = 198 K). A convenient and one-pot synthetic method of lanthanide thiolate compounds was developed. An excess of metallic samarium, europium, and ytterbium directly reacted with diaryl disulfides in THF to give selectively Ln(II) thiolate complexes, [Ln(SAr)(&mgr;-SAr)(thf)(3)](2) (1, Ln = Sm; 2, Ln = Eu; Ar = 2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl), Yb(SAr)(2)(py)(4) (3, py = pyridine), and [{Ln(hmpa)(3)}(2)(&mgr;-SPh)(3)][SPh] (6, Ln = Sm; 7, Ln = Eu; 8, Ln = Yb; hmpa = hexamethylphosphoric triamide). Reaction of metallic lanthanides with 3 equiv of disulfides afforded Ln(III) thiolate complexes, Ln(SAr)(3)(py)(n)()(thf)(3)(-)(n)() (9a, Ln = Sm, n = 3; 9b, Ln = Sm, n = 2; 10, Ln = Yb, n = 3) and Ln(SPh)(3)(hmpa)(3) (11, Ln = Sm; 12, Ln = Eu; 13, Ln = Yb). Thus, Ln(II) and Ln(III) thiolate complexes were prepared from the same source by controlling the stoichiometry of the reactants. X-ray analysis of 8 revealed that 8 has the first ionic structure composed of triply bridged dinuclear cation and benezenethiolate anion [8, orthorhombic, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with a = 21.057(9), b = 25.963(7), c = 16.442(8) ?, V = 8988(5) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.040, R(w) = 0.039 for 5848 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 865 parameters]. The monomeric structures of 11 and 13 were revealed by X-ray crystallographic studies [11, triclinic, space group P&onemacr; with a = 14.719(3), b = 17.989(2), c = 11.344(2) ?, alpha = 97.91(1), beta = 110.30(2), gamma = 78.40(1) degrees, V = 2751.9(9) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.045, R(w) = 0.041 for 7111 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 536 parameters; 13, triclinic, space group P&onemacr; with a = 14.565(2), b = 17.961(2), c = 11.302(1) ?, alpha = 97.72(1), beta = 110.49(1), gamma = 78.37(1) degrees, V = 2706.0(7) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.031, R(w) = 0.035 for 9837 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 536 parameters]. A comparison with the reported mononuclear and dinuclear lanthanide thiolate complexes has been made to indicate that the Ln-S bonds weakened by the coordination of HMPA to lanthanide metals have ionic character.  相似文献

Five one-dimensional coordination polymers, Ni(BDC)(1,10-phen) (1), Ni(BDC)(2,2'-bipy).0.75H(2)BDC (2), Ni(BDC)(1,10-phen)(H(2)O) (3), Ni(BDC)(1,10-phen)(H(2)O).0.5H(2)BDC (4) and Ni(BDC)(2,2'-bipy)(H(2)O) (5) [where BDC = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate, 2,2-bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, and 1,10-phen = 1,10-phenanthroline] that have the same topology but markedly different geometry and packing of the chains have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions. The results of variations of synthesis conditions and substitutions of 1,10-phenanthroline with 2,2'-bipyridine indicate that incorporation of the coordinating water molecule, which affects the degree of bending of the chain, is primarily influenced by the amine ligand size, suggesting a substantial structural role of aromatic-aromatic interactions and amine ligand steric effects. The incorporation of the guest H(2)BDC molecules was found to be favored by lower pH conditions. Synthesis of a new class of heteroleptic samarium aryloxide complexes has been achieved by the use of homoleptic samarium(II) bis(aryloxide) Sm(OAr)(2)(THF)(3) (1, Ar = C(6)H(2)Bu(t)(2)-2,6-Me-4) as a starting material, which is easily obtained by reaction of Sm(N(SiMe(3))(2))(2)(THF)(2) with 2 equiv of ArOH in THF. 1 reacts with 1 equiv of SmI(2) in THF to give Sm(II) mixed aryloxide/iodide [(ArO)Sm(&mgr;-I)(THF)(3)](2) (2), which adopts a dimeric structure via very weak Sm.I (3.534(2) ?) interactions. Reaction of 2 with C(5)Me(5)K in THF/HMPA affords the corresponding Sm(II) aryloxide/cyclopentadienide (C(5)Me(5))Sm(OAr)(HMPA)(2) (3). Oxidation of 1 with 0.5 equiv of I(2) in THF gives monomeric samarium(III) aryloxide/iodide (ArO)(2)SmI(THF)(2) (4), while the similar reaction of 1 with ClCH(2)CH(2)Cl or (t)BuCl in THF affords dimeric samarium(III) aryloxide/chloride [(ArO)(2)Sm(&mgr;-Cl)(THF)](2) (5). Crystal data for 1: monoclinic, space group P2(1), a = 9.903(3) ?, b = 16.718(5) ?, c = 13.267(2) ?, beta = 95.17(2) degrees, V = 2187(2) ?(3), Z = 2, D(c) = 1.223 g cm(-)(3), R = 0.0634. The investigation of the supramolecular interactions between the zinc chloride salts and the crown ether in tetrahydrofuran (THF) with the diffusion of in situ formed DMA (DMA = dimethylamine) ligand leads to two novel zinc-DMA compounds, [(H3O)·(18C-6)][ZnCl3(DMA)] 1 and [(HDMA)·(18C-6)][ZnCl3(DMA)] 2 (18C-6 = 18-crown-6), whose emissions fall into the blue-emission field. Concomitantly, the uncoordinated pyridyl ring is protonated and rotated into a perpendicular orientation relative to the central C(3)N(3) ring. Reaction of TPT with [NEt(4)](2)[ReBr(3)(CO)(3)] in benzene-methanol resulted in an unexpected dinuclear complex 7, with formulation [mu-C(3)N(3)(OMe)(py)(3)][Re(CO)(3)][ReBr(CO)(3)]. The methoxylated TPT ligand functions simultaneously as a tridentate and bidentate ligand with two fac-Re(CO)(3)(+) cores. Crystal structures of three Ni(CN)(4)(2)(-) salts all with eclipsed ligands and varying axial stacking arrangements are presented. The absorption spectra of all three salts show a slight red shift in the x,y-polarizations and a large red shift in their z-polarizations upon crystallization from solution. Semiempirical ZINDO calculations provide a good model of the solid state, even with only a three-molecule segment, allowing reproduction of the red-shifting and intensity increase upon crystallization found experimentally. The modified nickel beta(s,p) bonding parameter of -5 found appropriate for Ni coordination in our previous studies of single Ni(CN)(4)(2-) planes and a helically stacked Cs(2)[Ni(CN)(4)].H(2)O crystal was changed to -3 for the more parallel-stacked Ni(CN)(4)(2-) planes in this case, while beta(d) was retained at -41. The molecular structures of novel donor-functionalized terphenyl derivatives of trivalent ytterbium, yttrium, and samarium of composition [DanipYb(mu2-Cl)2(mu3-Cl)Li(THF)]2 (1) and [DanipLn(mu2-Cl)2(mu2-Cl)Li(THF)2]2 (Ln = Y, 2; Ln = Sm, 3) are reported [Danip = 2,6-di(o-anisol)phenyl]. A series of copper(II) complexes with tripodal polypyridylmethylamine ligands, such as tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (tpa), ((6-methyl-2-pyridyl)methyl)bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (Me(1)tpa), bis((6-methyl-2-pyridyl)methyl)(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (Me(2)tpa), and tris((6-methyl-2-pyridyl)methyl)amine (Me(3)tpa), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. [Cu(H(2)O)(tpa)](ClO(4))(2) (1) crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/a, with a = 15.029(7) ?, b = 9.268(2) ?, c = 17.948(5) ?, beta = 113.80(3) degrees, and Z = 4 (R = 0.061, R(w) = 0.059). [CuCl(Me(1)tpa)]ClO(4) (2) crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 13.617(4) ?, b = 14.532(4) ?, c = 12.357(4) ?, alpha = 106.01(3) degrees, beta = 111.96(2) degrees, gamma = 71.61(2) degrees, and Z = 4 (R = 0.054, R(w) = 0.037). [CuCl(Me(2)tpa)]ClO(4) (3) crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 19.650(4) ?, b = 13.528(4) ?, c = 8.55(1) ?, beta = 101.51(5) degrees, and Z = 4 (R = 0.071, R(w) = 0.050). [CuCl(Me(3)tpa)][CuCl(2)(Me(3)tpa)]ClO(4) (4) crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/a, with a = 15.698(6) ?, b = 14.687(7) ?, c = 19.475(4) ?, beta = 97.13(2) degrees, and Z = 4 (R = 0.054, R(w) = 0.038). All the Cu atoms of 1-4 have pentacoordinate geometries with three pyridyl and one tertiary amino nitrogen atoms, and a chloride or aqua oxygen atom. Nitrite ion coordinated to the Cu(II) center of Me(1)tpa, Me(2)tpa, and Me(3)tpa complexes with only oxygen atom to form nitrito adducts. The cyclic voltammograms of [Cu(H(2)O)(Me(n)()tpa)](2+) (n = 0, 1, 2, and 3) in the presence of NO(2)(-) in H(2)O (pH 7.0) revealed that the catalytic activity for the reduction of NO(2)(-) increases in the order Me(3)tpa < Me(2)tpa < Me(1)tpa < tpa complexes.  相似文献

The molecular structures of terphenyl derivatives of trivalent ytterbium, thulium, and yttrium of general composition DnpLnCl(2)(THF)(2) [Dnp = 2,6-di(1-naphthyl)phenyl] are reported. The complexes (Ln = Yb: 1; Ln = Tm: 2; Ln = Y: 3) are synthesized by reaction of 1 equiv of DnpLi with 1 equiv of LnCl(3) (Ln = Yb, Tm, or Y) in tetrahydrofuran at room temperature in 50% yield. Attempts to prepare a Dnp scandium compound gave heterobimetallic [(THF)(3)Sc(2)OCl(5)Li(THF)](2) (4) in low yield. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c. Crystal data for 1 at 203 K: a = 14.333(3) A, b = 16.353(3) A, c = 12.427(2) A, beta = 91.021(4) degrees, Z = 4, D(calcd) = 1.637 g cm(-3), R(1) = 4.44%. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c.
