简述了各向异性介质FDTD方法,并用FDTD方法分析了三维各向异性有耗介质板的瞬态后向散射.根据各向异性介质板后向散射与入射电磁波极化方向有关的特点,利用其后向RCS的谐振特性和后向散射场的时域波形特点反演有耗介质板的横向介电系数和电导率.数值模拟结果表明本反演方法可行,且方便、快捷. 关键词: 各向异性板 FDTD方法 有耗介质 谐振 反演  相似文献

 分析了非线性左手材料模型,推导了非线性左手材料中的时域有限差分法及完美匹配层的计算式。数值模拟了具有Kerr非线性效应的左手材料平板中的电磁波。观察到该材料同样具有电磁聚焦特性。对比线性左手材料,其聚焦点的幅度和位置都会发生偏移。同时改变波源的强度及其到平板边界距离,讨论了不同距离情况下该非线性左手材料平板对电磁波分布的影响。当波源距离材料平板足够远,通过非线性左手材料聚焦的电场强度几乎集中在其外表面。  相似文献

目前,针对空间电磁场作用有耗介质层上传输线的电磁耦合,仍缺乏有效的数值分析方法.因此,本文提出一种高效的时域混合算法,很好地解决了有耗介质层上传输线电磁耦合建模难的问题.首先,对经典传输线方程进行改进,推导了适用于有耗介质层上多导体传输线电磁耦合分析的修正传输线方程.然后,结合时域有限差分方法和相应插值技术,求解修正传输线方程,获得多导线及其端接负载上的电压和电流响应,并实现空间电磁场辐射与多导线瞬态响应的同步计算.最后,通过相应计算实例的数值模拟,与CST软件的仿真结果进行对比,验证了时域混合算法的正确性和高效性.  相似文献

为验证左手介质的电磁特性,采用非分裂时域有限差分方法对左手介质的Drude模型进行建模.这种方法不需要对电场和磁场进行分裂,也不需要对PML空间进行特殊处理,吸收边界PML和工作空间可以通过参数转换来完成,并且构造的PML层为有耗介质,进入PML层的透射波将迅速衰减.它是一种准确而有效的分析色散和各向异性介质的方法,通过此方法有效地验证了左手介质的负折射效应、汇聚效应、相位补偿效应,充分验证了左手介质及其反常特性的存在性和此方法分析左手介质的有效性. 关键词: 左手介质 非分裂 时域有限差分 Drude  相似文献

 负折射率媒质是一种人造媒质,在某一微波波段内其介电常数和磁导率同时为负值。对TE模电磁场满足的麦克斯韦方程组进行数值处理,解决了直接利用时域有限差分方法在Yee’s网格下计算负折射率媒质内部场分布时的数值发散问题。通过数值算例,验证了方法的可行性,模拟了负折射率媒质内部及周围的电磁场分布。  相似文献

在强激光系统中光学元件表面的微结构会引起局域场强增强,进而会影响元件抗激光损伤能力。采用时域有限差分方法对波长量级的表面微结构进行了电磁场分布的数值模拟,一方面为损伤模型的建立奠定了基础,另一方面也为光学元件的设计制作提供了理论指导。  相似文献

The propagation characteristics of electromagnetic wave in lossy left-handed materials (LHM) are studied using finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method base on auxiliary differential equation (ADE) technology. The LHM medium is realized with lossy Drude models for both the negative electric permittivity and the negative magnetic permeability. The discretized ADE-FDTD equations are derived in detail. The incident wave used in the simulation is a multiple cycle m-n-m pulses source. The term of Poynting's vector ExHy was calculated. These numerical results demonstrate conclusively that the phase velocity direction of electromagnetic wave propagation and the direction of the Poynting vectors are anti-parallel in LHM. The amplitude of electric field is reduced with the enhancive distance of LHM slab. It is also demonstrated that the energy of electromagnetic wave in the LHM slab is obviously attenuated, and the attenuation of energy becomes stronger with the angular plasma frequency ωp increasing. These results indicate that LHM stealth is effective in theory, and reasonable selection of the large negative index of refraction can greatly enhance its effectiveness.  相似文献

Finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is used to simulate the propagation of electromagnetic wave in left-handed material slab (LHMs) with cold plasma model The effects of optical propagation in the left-handed material compared to convex lens are discussed. The wider the LHMs is, the stronger electric field of focusing image in left-handed material slab is confirmed by the simulation with various slab length. However, the outer image point location would slightly moves to the LHMs side when the length of LHMs is reduced.  相似文献

This study presents the electromagnetic wave propagation through the frequency-dispersive and lossy double-negative slab embedded between two different semi-infinite media. The double-negative slab is realized by using two models, the Lorentz and Drude medium models. The properties and the required equations for the frequency-dispersive and lossy double-negative slab, the Lorentz medium and Drude medium are given in detail. After the construction of the problem, the reflection and transmission coefficients are derived for both TE and TM waves. Then, the reflected, transmitted and loss powers are determined using these coefficients. Finally, in the numerical results, the mentioned powers for TE and TM waves are computed and illustrated as a function of the incidence angle, the frequency and the slab thickness when the damping frequency changes.  相似文献

The generating mechanism of the energy-stream loops (ESLs) for the evanescent waves around the interfaces of a left-handed material (LHM) slab has been investigated with a finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The simulations have shown that these ESLs originate from standing waves, attributed to the intervention of counter-propagating evanescent waves. Large numbers of ESLs can appear because of the numerous values of wave vectors ky. The larger ESLs die out more quickly than the smaller ones in time after the source is switched off, the ESLs shrink continuously with increasing delay, and the oscillated distributions of the evanescent waves between the surfaces can also be validated. It is greatly helpful for the further comprehension on energy fluxes of evanescent waves in the LHM slab.  相似文献

A ternary photonic crystal with left-handed material (LHM) layer is examined for refractometric applications. One of the layers is assumed to be air and treated as an analyte. The transmittance from the ternary photonic crystal is studied in details and the wavelength shift due to the change in the refractive index of the analyte is investigated. The transmittance is investigated with the parameters of the LHM. It is found that the wavelength shift can be significantly enhanced with the decrease of both real part of the LHM permittivity and thickness.  相似文献

The structural dispersion characteristics of guided surface modes in a hollow slab waveguide with a left-handed material substrate or cover are investigated. Dispersion relation is derived by using normalized parameters, and universal dispersion curves have been obtained analytically, by solving transcendental dispersion equations in a reverse way. We propose a polarization splitter (PS) based on the slow light effect in a three-layer waveguide that consists of left-handed material (LHM) and dielectric layers with no birefringence. Transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) waves can be split by the intrinsic configuration of permittivity and permeability of LHM and dielectric layers. Simulation results are given to discuss the influence of electromagnetic parameters on the properties of our PS, and the capture and release of TE or TM waves are also realized in our PS which provides a flexible method to modulate the switching of different polarization waves.  相似文献

对不对称左手介质平板波导的几个低阶的TE模和TM模进行了数值计算,得到了模式特征方程,分析了归一化传播常数β/k_0随平板厚度d变化的色散关系,作出了模式的电场E_y(x)分布.在左手介质平板波导中,每一模式都有截止点, TE_0模和TM_0模不出现,在我们给出的特定的介质参数下,TE_1模和TM_1模不能和其他高阶模式共存,其归一化传播常数β/ k_0随k_0d的增加而减小.给出的结果对左手介质元器件的研究有实际的参考意义.  相似文献

利用平面角谱理论,建立厄米-高斯光束和拉盖尔-高斯光束在负折射率平板透镜系统中的傍轴传输模型,研究负折射率平板透镜中厄米-高斯光束和拉盖尔-高斯光束强度聚焦及相位补偿特性。结果发现:负折射率平板透镜产生的反向Gouy 相移可以补偿空气中Gouy相移导致的相差,因而在满足相位匹配条件下,光束在物平面和像平面之间的相差为零;当强度聚焦和相位匹配条件同时满足的条件下,光束在物平面强度和相位分布可在像平面实现完全重构。  相似文献
