This paper reports an electroanalytical method developed for determining the antioxidant tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) in biodiesel, based on the enhancement effect of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). In pH 6.5 Britton–Robinson buffer, a poorly defined oxidation peak was observed for TBHQ at a carbon paste electrode (CPE). In the presence of low concentrations of CTAB, however, the oxidation peak current was markedly increased. Several parameters were studied and optimized for the development of this methodology, and under optimal conditions the oxidation peak current was proportional to TBHQ concentration in the range of (1.05–10.15) × 10−6 mol L−1, with limits of detection and quantification of 7.11 × 10−8 mol L−1 and 2.37 × 10−7 mol L−1, respectively, by linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). The method was applied to TBHQ determination in soybean biodiesel samples. The results were satisfactory in comparison with those obtained using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).  相似文献

A thionine modified aligned carbon nanotubes (ACNTs) electrode was fabricated and was used to electrochemically determine nitrite. The thionine modified ACNTs electrode exhibited enhanced electrocatalytic behavior to the oxidation of nitrite. The electrochemical mechanism of the thionine/ACNTs electrode towards the oxidation of nitrite was discussed. The thionine modified ACNTs electrode exhibited fast response towards nitrite with a detection limit of 1.12 × 10−6 mol  L−1 and a linear range of 3 × 10−6 – 5 × 10−4 mol  L−1. The proposed method was successfully applied in the detection of nitrite in real samples.  相似文献

A novel electrochemical platform was designed and prepared for simultaneous determination of p-acetaminophen (AMP) and p-aminophenol (AP) by combining the excellent conductivity and electrocatalytic activities of tetraaminophenyl porphyrin functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs-CONH-TAPP) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The as-synthesized CNTs-CONH-TAPP composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscope. The incisive oxidation current responses of AMP and AP at the modified electrode promised a sensitive and selective simultaneous determination of AMP and AP. Under optimized conditions, the peak currents were directly proportional to the concentrations of AMP and AP over the ranges of 4.5–500 μmol L−1 and 0.08–60 μmol L−1, respectively, and the limits of detection were 0.44 μmol L−1 for AMP and 0.025 μmol L−1 for AP(S/N = 3) respectively. The proposed modified electrode showed excellent selectivity, reproducibility and long-term stability and could be applied in simultaneous determination of p-acetaminophen and p-aminophenol in real samples.  相似文献

A novel poly(p-xylenolsulfonephthalein) modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared for the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), epinephrine (EP) and uric acid (UA). Cyclic voltammetric, chronoamperometric, and differential pulse voltammetric methods were used to investigate the modified electrode for the electrocatalytic oxidation of EP, AA, and UA in aqueous solutions. The separation of the oxidation peak potentials for AA–EP and EP–UA was about 200 and 130 mV, respectively. The calibration curves obtained for AA, EP, and UA were in the ranges of 10–1343, 2–390, and 0.1–560 μmol L−1, respectively. The detection limits (S/N = 3) were 4, 0.1, and 0.08 μmol L−1 for AA, EP and UA, respectively. The diffusion coefficient and the catalytic rate constant for the oxidation of EP at the modified electrode were calculated as 1.40(±0.10) × 10−4 cm2 s−1 and 1.06 × 103 mol−1 L s−1, respectively. The present method was applied to the determination of EP in pharmaceutical and urine samples, AA in commercially available vitamin C tablet, and EP plus UA in urine samples.  相似文献

A novel biosensor using poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene) (PEDOT) modified Pt electrode was developed for selective determination of dopamine (DA) in presence of high concentrations of ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) with a maximum molar ratio of 1/1000, and 1/100 in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). SDS forms a monolayer on PEDOT surface with a high density of negatively charged end directed outside the electrode. The electrochemical response of dopamine was improved by SDS due to the enhanced accumulation of protonated dopamine via electrostatic interactions. The common overlapped oxidation peaks of AA, UA and DA can be resolved by using SDS as the DA current signal increases while the corresponding signals for AA and UA are quenched. The use of SDS in the electrochemical determination of dopamine using linear sweep voltammetry at modified electrode PEDOT/Pt resulted in detecting dopamine at relatively lower concentrations. The DA concentration could be measured in the linear range of 0.5 to 25 μmol L? 1 and 30 μmol L? 1 to 0.1 mmol L? 1 with correlation coefficients of 0.998 and 0.993 and detection limits 61 nmol L? 1 and 86 nmol L? 1, respectively. The validity of using this method in the determination of dopamine in human urine was also demonstrated.  相似文献

A simple silver particle-modified carbon paste electrode is proposed for the determination of low concentration levels of nitrite ions. The electrode consists of a carbon powder decorated with silver sub-micrometre particles (AgPs) and a hydrophobic ionic liquid trihexyltetradecylphosphonium chloride as a binder. It has been shown that AgPs exhibit a strong electrocatalytic effect on the nitrite oxidation. For optimal electroanalytical performance the electrode was conditioned via silver oxidation/reduction cycle. The electrode revealed a linear square-wave voltammetric response in a wide examined concentration range of 0.05 to 1.0 mmol L 1, limit of detection (LOD) of 3 μmol L 1 and excellent repeatability with RSD of 0.3%.  相似文献

A sensitive electrochemical method for H2O2 determination was proposed with carboxyl functionalized graphene oxide (GO-COOH) as mimetic peroxidase and 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) as substrate. GO-COOH exhibited intrinsic peroxidase-like activity that could catalyze the oxidation of TMB with H2O2. The generated product exhibited a sensitive second order derivative linear sweep voltammetric reduction peak at − 0.93 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in Britton–Robinson buffer. Under the optimal conditions the reduction peak current was proportional to H2O2 concentration in the linear range from 0.006 to 0.8 μmol L 1 with the detection limit of 1.0 nmol L 1 (3σ). This proposed method was further applied to determine H2O2 content in fresh milk samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new noncovalent approach for the dissolution of MWNTs in water by azocarmine B (ACB) is reported. Through a simple electro-polymerization procedure, a novel electrochemical NO sensor based on water-soluble MWNTs and polyazocarmine B (PACB) nanofilm electrode was prepared, which showed excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of nitric oxide (NO). The oxidation current linearly increased with the nitric oxide concentration in the range of 2.2 × 10−7–1.2 × 10−4 mol L−1 with a low detection limit of 2.8 × 10−8 mol L−1. The sensor has the merit of good stability, reproducibility, high sensitivity and selectivity, and it can be used to monitor NO released from rat liver cells effectively.  相似文献

This work reports the development of screen-printed quantum dots (QDs)-based DNA biosensors utilizing graphite electrodes with embedded bismuth citrate as a bismuth precursor. The sensor surface serves both as a support for the immobilization of the oligonucleotide and as an ultrasensitive voltammetric QDs transducer relying on bismuth nanoparticles. The utility of this biosensor is demonstrated for the detection of the C634R mutation through hybridization of the biotin-tagged target oligonucleotide with a surface-confined capture complementary probe and subsequent reaction with streptavidin-conjugated PbS QDs. The electrochemical transduction step involved anodic stripping voltammetric determination of the Pb(II) released after acidic dissolution of the QDs. Simultaneously with the electrolytic accumulation of Pb on the sensor surface, the embedded bismuth citrate was converted in situ to bismuth nanoparticles enabling ultra-trace Pb determination. The biosensor showed a linear relationship of the Pb(II) peak current with respect to the logarithm of the target DNA concentrations from 0.1 pmol L 1 to 10 nmol L 1, and the limit of detection was 0.03 pmol L 1. The biosensor exhibited effective discrimination between a single-base mismatched sequence and the fully complementary target DNA. These “green” biosensors are inexpensive, lend themselves to easy mass production, and hold promise for ultrasensitive bioassay formats.  相似文献

The behavior of a modified carbon platinum electrode (Pt) for lead(II) determination by square wave voltammetry (SWV) was studied. The modified electrode is obtained by electrodeposition of hydroxyapatite (HAP) on the surface of a bare platinum electrode. The new electrode (HAP/Pt) revealed interesting electroanalytical detection of lead(II) based on the adsorption of this metal onto hydroxyapatite under open circuit conditions. After optimization of the experimental and voltammetric conditions, the best voltammetric responses-current intensity and voltammetric profile were obtained in 0.2 mol L?1 KNO3 with: 30 min accumulation time, 5 mV pulse amplitude and 1 mV s?1 scan rate. The observed detection (DL, 3σ) and quantification (DL, 10σ) limits in pure water were 2.01 × 10?8 and 6.7 × 10?7 mol L?1, respectively. The reproducibility of the proposed method was determined from five different measurements in a solution containing 2.2 × 10?6 mol L?1 lead(II) with a coefficients of variation of 2.08%.The electrochemical of hydroxyapatite at platinum surfaces was characterized, after calcinations 900 °C, by X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, chemical and electrochemical analysis.  相似文献

A highly sensitive, selective and rapid method for the determination of cobalt based on the rapid reaction of cobalt(II) with 5-(2-benzothiazolylazo)-8-hydroxyquinolene BTAHQ and the solid phase extraction of the Co(II)-BTAHQ complex with C18 membrane disks were developed. In the presence of pH = 6.4 buffer solution and cetylpyridenium chloride (CPC) medium, BTAHQ reacts with cobalt to form a deep violet complex with a molar ratio of 1:1 (cobalt to BTAHQ). This complex was enriched by the solid phase extraction with C18 membrane disks. An enrichment factor of 100 was obtained by elution of the complex from the disks with a minimal amount of isopentyl alcohol. In isopentyl alcohol medium, the molar absorptivity of the complex is 2.42 × 105 L mol−1 cm−1 at 658 nm. Beer’s law is obeyed in the range of 0.01–0.38 μg mL−1 in the measured solution. The relative standard deviation for 11 replicate samples of 0.20 μg mL−1 level is 1.37%. The detection and quantification limits reach 3.1 and 9.7 ng mL−1 in the original samples. This method was applied for the determination of cobalt in biological, water, soil and pharmaceutical preparation samples with good results.  相似文献

The bioelectrochemical oxidation of two polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH): anthracene (ANT) and pyrene (PYR), using horseradish peroxidase (HRP) resulting in the synthesis of photoactive polyaromatic quinones in organic media was studied. The electrochemical generation of hydrogen peroxide was compared with its direct addition in concentrations of up to 0.0012 mol L−1. In addition, three different chemical redox mediators were evaluated: ABTS, thionin and ortho-aminophenol. In a reaction medium containing 30% acetone and ABTS as mediator with a molar ratio mediator/PAH of 1:10, HRP attained the highest level of oxidation of PAH (1 × 10−3 mol L−1): ANT (94%) and PYR (91%), producing 9,10-anthraquinone and mainly 1,2 and 4,5-pyrenequinones, respectively.  相似文献

A novel procedure for trace methylmercury determinations by anodic stripping voltammetry at a gold film electrode is presented. Measurements were performed in a flow system. For selective determination of methylmercury, the Hg2+ ions were masked by complexation with DTPA. Hg-DTPA complex is not reduced at the gold film electrode at the potential of methylmercury reduction to the metallic state. The calibration graph was linear from 5 × 10−9 to 1 × 10−7 mol L−1 for an accumulation time 600 s. A detection limit (based on 3σ criterion) for methylmercury was 2.3 × 10−9 mol L−1. The validation of the proposed procedure was made by analyses of human hair certified reference material.  相似文献

Activated carbon fibers (ACFs) with high surface area and highly mesoporous structure for electrochemical double layer capacitors (EDLCs) have been prepared from polyacrylonitrile fibers by NaOH activation. Their unique microstructural features enable the ACFs to present outstanding high specific capacitance in aqueous, non-aqueous and novel ionic liquid electrolytes, i.e. 371 F g−1 in 6 mol L−1 KOH, 213 F g−1 in 1 mol L−1 LiClO4/PC and 188 F g−1 in ionic liquid composed of lithium bis(trifluoromethane sulfonyl)imide (LiN(SO2CF3)2, LiTFSI) and 2-oxazolidinone (C3H5NO2, OZO), suggesting that the ACF is a promising electrode material for high performance EDLCs.  相似文献

A novel in-situ prepared copper film electrode (CuFE) for anodic stripping voltammetric measurement of trace levels of Hg(II) and Pb(II) is presented. The optimal electroanalytical performance of the CuFE was achieved in electrolyte solution comprising 0.1 M HCl and 0.4 M NaCl. The CuFE exhibited excellent operation in the presence of dissolved oxygen with calculated LoD of 0.1 μg L 1 Hg(II) and 0.06 μg L 1 Pb(II) in combination with 300 s accumulation time, repeatability with RSD of 4.5% for Hg(II) and 0.9% for Pb(II) (n = 12), and favourable linear response in the examined concentration range of 10–100 μg L 1 (R2 = 0.997) for Hg and 5–70 μg L 1 (R2 = 0.999) for Pb after 120 s accumulation. The electrode enabled also simultaneous detection of both investigated metal ions and revealed promising electroanalytical characteristics similar to or in certain cases surpassing those of commonly used gold electrodes.  相似文献

This work reports on a novel chitosan–hematite nanotubes composite film on a gold foil by a simple one-step electrodeposition method. The hybrid chitosan–hematite nanotubes (Chi–HeNTs) film exhibits strong electrocatalytic reduction activity for H2O2. Interestingly, two electrocatalytic reduction peaks are observed at −0.24 and −0.56 V (vs SCE), respectively, one controlled by surface wave and the other controlled by diffusion process. The Chi–HeNTs/Au electrode shows a linear response to H2O2 concentration ranging from 1 × 10−6 to 1.6 × 10−5 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 5 × 10−8 mol L−1 and a sensitivity as high as 1859 μA μM−1 cm−2.  相似文献

A flow injection on-line displacement solid-phase extraction protocol was employed to minimize mass interferences with determination of palladium by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The developed method involved in on-line complexing of Ag+ with pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDC), presorption of the resultant Ag–PDC onto a microcolumn packed with the cigarette filter, displacement sorption of Pd2+ through loading the sample solution onto the microcolumn due to on-line displacement reaction between Pd2+ and the presorbed Ag–PDC, elution of the retained Pd2+ with 50 μL of ethanol for on-line ICP-MS detection. Interferences from co-existing heavy metal ions with lower stability of their PDC complexes relative to Ag–PDC were minimized/eliminated. No interferences from 5 mg L 1 Zn and 3 mg L 1 Pb for 104Pd, 0.4 mg L 1 Cu for 105Pd, 6 mg L 1 Zn and 2 mg L 1 Cd for 106Pd, 6 mg L 1 Zn and 3 mg L 1 Cd for 108Pd, and 2 mg L 1 Cd for 110Pd were observed for the determination of 100 ng L 1 Pd. The enhancement factors of 71–75, sample throughput of 23 samples h 1 and detection limits of 2.8–3.5 ng L 1 were achieved with the consumption of 3.0 mL of sample solution. The precision (RSD) for eleven replicate determinations of Pd at the 100 ng L 1 level was 1.8–2.7%. The developed method was applied to the determination of palladium in rock samples.  相似文献

The present work describes the development of a new strategy to photoelectrochemical detection of L-Dopa at low potential based on oxygen reduction on TiO2 sensitized with iron phthalocyanine (FePc/TiO2). The FePc/TiO2 composite shows a photocurrent 10-fold higher than that of pure TiO2 nanoparticles and it was 4-fold higher than that of FePc exploiting visible light. The band gaps of pure TiO2 nanoparticles, FePc and FePc/TiO2, calculated according to the Kubelka–Munk equation, were 3.22 eV, 3.11 eV and 2.82 eV, respectively. The FePc/TiO2 composite showed a low charge transfer resistance in comparison to the photoelectrode modified with FePc or TiO2. Under optimized conditions, the photoelectrochemical sensor shows a linear response range from 20 up to 190 μmol L 1 with a sensitivity of 31.8 μA L mmol 1 and limit of detection of 1.5 μmol L 1 for the detection of L-Dopa.  相似文献

A novel sensor based on a screen-printed electrode (SPE) modified with a stable dispersion of commercially available carbon black (CB) N220 was developed. This probe showed significantly enhanced electrochemical activity relative to a bare SPE when tested with ferricyanide, epinephrine, norepinephrine, benzoquinone and NADH. When challenged in amperometric batch mode with NADH, the response was stable and revealed a linear dependence up to 2·10?4 mol L?1 with a detection limit of 3·10?7 mol L?1. The analytical performance, coupled with the low cost of the CB nanomaterial, suggests that this sensor holds promise for electrochemical applications.  相似文献
