A new borate [H2EG][B7O10(OH)3] (1) based on [B14O20(OH)6]4- polyborate anions has been solvothermally synthesized in the presence of H2EG as a template (EG = ethylene glycol). The structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and further characterized by FFIR, elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis. Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group Pi, with a = 8.5095(4), b = 8.8694(4), c = 10.0756(4) A, a = 95.094(2), β = 96.936(2), γ = 116.844(2)°, V = 664.66(5) A3. The structure of 1 consists of [B14O20(OH)6]4- moiety, which could be regarded as the largest isolated polyborate anion so far. The anions are interlinked via hydrogen bonding to form a 3D supramolecular network, whereas the diprotonated [H2EG]2+ are filled in the free space of inorganic borate network and interact with the inorganic framework by extensive hydrogen bonds. It is noteworthy that the EG acts not only as a solvent, but also as a template.  相似文献

Two new bismuth hydroxyl borates, Bi(2)O(2)[B(3)O(5)(OH)] (I) and Bi(2)O(2)[BO(2)(OH)] (II), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Their structures were determined by single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction data, respectively. Compound I crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with the lattice constants of a = 6.0268(3) ?, b = 11.3635(6) ?, and c = 19.348(1) ?. Compound II crystallizes in the monoclinic space group Cm with the lattice constants of a = 5.4676(6) ?, b = 14.6643(5) ?, c = 3.9058(1) ?, and β = 135.587(6)°. The borate fundamental building block (FBB) in I is a three-ring unit [B(3)O(6)(OH)](4-), which connects one by one via sharing corners, forming an infinite zigzag chain along the a direction. The borate chains are further linked by hydrogen bonds, showing as a borate layer within the ab plane. The FBB in II is an isolated [BO(2)(OH)](2-) triangle, which links to two neighboring FBBs by strong hydrogen bonds, resulting in a borate chain along the a direction. Both compounds contain [Bi(2)O(2)](2+) layers, and the [Bi(2)O(2)](2+) layers combine with the corresponding borate layers alternatively, forming the whole structures. These two new bismuth borates are the first ones containing [Bi(2)O(2)](2+) layers in borates. The appearance of Bi(2)O(2)[BO(2)(OH)] (II) completes the series of compounds Bi(2)O(2)[BO(2)(OH)], Bi(2)O(2)CO(3), and Bi(2)O(2)[NO(3)(OH)] and the formation of Bi(2)O(2)[B(3)O(5)(OH)] provides another example in demonstrating the polymerization tendency of borate groups.  相似文献

The reaction of ZrCl4 with [gamma-SiW10O36]8- in a potassium acetate buffer results in two different products depending on the reactant ratios. The trimeric species [Zr6O2(OH)4(H2O)3(beta-SiW10O37)3]14- (1) consists of three beta23-SiW10O37 units linked by an unprecedented Zr6O2(OH)4(H2O)3 cluster with C1 point group symmetry. The dimeric species [Zr4O2(OH)2(H2O)4(beta-SiW10O37)2]10- (2) consists of beta22- and beta12-SiW10O37 units sandwiching a Zr4O2(OH)2(H2O)4 cluster, which also has C1 symmetry. Polyanion 1 contains more zirconium centers than any other polyoxometalate known to date.  相似文献

CsSc[B2P3O11(OH)3] was obtained by hydrothermal synthesis and represents the first alkali-metal scandium borophosphate containing boron with coordination numbers 3 and 4. The crystal structure was determined from single-crystal X-ray data: orthorhombic, space group Pnna (No. 52), a=13.0529(15) A, b=18.3403(17) A, c=10.3838(12) A, Z=8. The crystal structure contains the oligomeric unit [B2P3O11(OH)3]4- in which a central borate tetrahedron is open-branched by two (OH)PO3 tetrahedra and cyclobranched by one PO4 tetrahedron and a trigonal-planar (OH)BO2 by sharing common apexes. The borophosphate oligomers together with the ScO6 octahedra are condensed to form layers. Simultaneous difference thermal analysis and thermogravimetry revealed the stepwise decomposition of the compound in the temperature range between 333 and 973 K. Partly dehydrated samples do not show any substantial rehydration behavior. The crystal structure of CsSc[B2P3O11(OH)3] is discussed in connection with structural motifs of related borates and borophosphates.  相似文献

The nonmetal borate [H3N(CH2)7NH3][B7O9(OH)5].H2O (1) was prepared via a neat reaction of 1,7-diaminoheptane with excess boric acid under mild nonhydrothermal conditions. Single-crystal X-ray characterization of 1 revealed a new isomer of the heptaborate anion, B7O9(OH)5(2-). The heptaborate anion in 1 is comprised of four fused (BO)3 rings sharing three four-coordinate boron atoms and a single three-coordinate oxygen atom. This anion is a structural isomer of another recently described heptaborate anion, consisting of a chain of three (BO)3 rings. Compound 1 crystallized in the triclinic space group P1 with a=9.3266(17) A, b=10.1222(19) A, c=10.847(2) A, alpha=89.422(2) degrees, beta=82.349(2) degrees, gamma=75.158(2) degrees, V=980.7(3) A3, and Z=2.  相似文献

B(10)H(14) reacts with para-C(6)H(4)(CHO)(COOH) in aqueous KOH solution to give the [nido-6-CB(9)H(11)-6-(C(6)H(4)-para-COOH)](-) anion 1, which undergoes cage closure with iodine in alkaline solution to give the [closo-2-CB(9)H(9)-2-(C(6)H(4)-para-COOH)](-) anion 2. Upon heating, anion 2 rearranges to form the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-COOH)](-) anion 3. Similarly, B(10)H(14) with glyoxylic acid OHCCOOH in aqueous KOH gives the [arachno-6-CB(9)H(13)-6-(COOH)](-) anion 4, which undergoes cage closure with iodine in alkaline solution to give the [closo-2-CB(9)H(9)-2-(COOH)](-) anion 5. Upon heating, anion 5 rearranges to give the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(COOH)](-) anion 6. Reduction of the [COOH] anions 3 and 6 with diisobutylaluminium hydride gives the [CH(2)OH] hydroxy anions [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) and [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(CH(2)OH)](-) 8 respectively. The [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) anion 7 can also be made via isomerisation of the [closo-2-CB(9)H(9)-2-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) anion 9, in turn obtained from the [nido-6-CB(9)H(11)-6-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) anion 10, which is obtained from the reaction of B(10)H(14) with terephthaldicarboxaldehyde, C(6)H(4)-para-(CHO)(2), in aqueous KOH solution. Oxidation of the hydroxy anions 7 and 8 with pyridinium dichromate gives the aldehydic [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-CHO)](-) anion 11 and the aldehydic [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(CHO)](-) anion 12 respectively, characterised as their 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone derivatives, the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-C(6)H(4)-para-CH=N-NHC(6)H(3)(NO(2))(2)](-) anion 13 and the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-CH=N-NHC(6)H(3)(NO(2))(2)](-) anion respectively.  相似文献

Two new alkali metal borophosphates, K3[BP3O9(OH)3] and Rb3[B2P3O11(OH)2], were synthesized by applying solvothermal techniques using ethanol as solvent. The crystal structures were solved by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction (K3[BP3O9(OH)3], monoclinic, C2/c (No. 15), a = 2454.6(8) pm, b = 736.3(2) pm, c = 1406.2(4) pm, beta = 118.35(2) degrees , Z = 8; Rb3[B2P3O11(OH)2], monoclinic, P2(1)/c (No. 14), a = 781.6(2) pm, b = 667.3(2) pm, c = 2424.8(5) pm, beta = 92.88(1) degrees , Z = 4). Both crystal structures comprise borophosphate chain anions. While for the rubidium compound a loop-branched chain motif is found as common for most of the chain anions in alkali metal borophosphates, the crystal structure of the potassium phase comprises the first open-branched chain with the highest phosphate content found so far in this group of compounds. Both chain anions are closely related to known anhydrous or hydrated phases, and the structural relations are discussed in terms of how the presence of OH groups and hydrogen bonds as well as number, charge, and size of charge balancing cations influence the 3D structural arrangement. The anionic entities are classified in terms of general principles of structural systematics for borophosphates.  相似文献

A totally new type of polyoxometalate, [IMo(9)O(32)(OH)(OH(2))(3)](4)(-), has been synthesized by reacting [IMo(6)O(22)(OMe)(2)](3)(-) with water. The [IMo(9)O(32)(OH)(OH(2))(3)](4)(-) anion further transforms into [(IMo(7)O(26))(2)](6)(-), a molecular oxide that has a rutile core, in dry acetonitrile, while it stays intact for several hours in wet acetonitrile.  相似文献

The templated borate, [C9H14N] · [B5O6(OH)4], was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction techonology reveals that it crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P$\bar{1}$ (No. 2). The material was also characterized by element analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD), thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG‐DTA), and luminescence spectroscopy. The compound consisted of isolated pentaborate [B5O6(OH)4] and N‐butylpyridinium cations [C9H14N]+. The [B5O6(OH)4] anions are connected together by hydrogen bonds to form a three‐dimensional framework, in which [C9H14N]+ cations are located in. [C9H14N] · [B5O6(OH)4] exhibits tunable luminescence emission at 415–458 nm by means of heating treatment from 100 to 300 °C.  相似文献

Two novel isotypic polyborate cluster compounds Na 5[MB 24O 34(OH) 12]. nH 2O (M = Cr (3+), Al (3+)) have been synthesized in a boric acid flux closed system at 220 degrees C by using gel as precursors. The structure of the Cr compound was determined by low-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and the Al compound was confirmed to be isostructural by powder X-ray diffraction and similar FT-IR spectra and thermal behavior. Na 5[CrB 24O 34(OH) 12]. nH 2O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1/ c with the cell parameters a = 17.4549(3) A, b = 11.1976(2) A, c = 21.2403(3) A, beta = 94.644(2) degrees , V = 4137.85(12) A (3), and Z = 4. The predominant feature of the structure are the spherelike polyborate clusters [MB 24O 34(OH) 12] (5-). The M (3+) cation is located at the center of the cluster, around which four hexaborate units ([B 6O 10(OH) 3] (5-)) are tetrahedrally assembled in almost a perfect T d symmetry. To the best of our knowledge, [MB 24O 34(OH) 12] (5-) is the first example of a polyborate cluster that contains 24 boron atoms. Upon heating, the compounds show two steps of weight loss, including the loss of the disengaged water and dehydration of the hydroxy groups. The first step is reversible, retaining the structure framework. The second weight loss is continuous and irreversible.  相似文献

Solid-state decomposition of [V3O(O2CPh)6(H2O)3]Cl at 300 degrees C followed by alcoholysis of the product gives the new vanadium complexes [V6O6(PhCO2)6(CH3O)6(CH3OH)3] (1), [V6O6(PhCO2)6(C2H5O)6(C2H5OH)3] (2), [V6O6(PhCO2)6(C3H7O)6(C3H7OH)3] (3), [V6O6(PhCO2)6(C4H9O)6(C4H9OH)3] (4) and [V4O4(OCH3)6(O2CPh)2(HOCH3)2] (5). Complexes 2, 3 and 5 have been crystallographically characterised. DC magnetic susceptibility studies on complex shows antiferromagnetic coupling leading to a S = 0 spin ground state.  相似文献

Anew mixed alkali and alkaline-earth metal borate Na4Ca2[B14O22(OH)6]·2H2O(1) has been made under a mild solvothermal condition and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared(IR) spectroscopy, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis, respectively. Compound 1 features a 1D tube based on[B14O24(OH)6]12-({B14}-1) oxo-boron clusters. Such a tube built by {B14}-1 units has been discovered for the first time in borate system. These tubes are arranged orderly to generate 2D layers and a further 3D supramolecular network through hydrogen bond interactions. UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectrum reveals that compound 1 is a wide band-gap semiconductor and has potential application in UV region.  相似文献

Two new hydrated borates Sr(3)B(6)O(11)(OH)(2) (1) and Ba(3)B(6)O(11)(OH)(2) (2) were hydrothermally synthesized. Their structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and further characterized by IR, powder XRD, and DSC/TGA. Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with unit cell parameters of a = 6.6275(13) ?, b = 6.6706(13) ?, c = 11.393(2) ?, α = 91.06(3)°, β = 94.50(3)°, and γ = 93.12(3)°, while compound 2 crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric monoclinic space group Pc with a = 6.958(14) ?, b = 7.024(14) ?, c = 11.346(2) ?, and β = 90.10(3)°. In spite of the differences in symmetry and packing of the borate chains, both structures consist of the same fundamental building block (FBB) of a [B(6)O(11)(OH)(2)](-6) unit and three unique alkaline earth metal atoms.  相似文献

A novel 1D chain organic-inorganic hybrid polyoxovanadium borate Na[V(12)B(16)O(50)(OH)(7)(en)](2)(enH(2))(6)(enH)(2)(OH)(H(2)O)(19) (1, en = ethylenediamine), based on a [V(12)B(16)O(50)(OH)(7)(en)](7-) cluster unit, has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized. Two Anderson-type heteropolyanion-supported copper phenanthroline complexes, [Al(OH)6Mo6O18[Cu(phen)(H2O)2]2]1+ (1c) and [Al(OH)6Mo6O18[Cu(phen)(H2O)Cl]2]1- (1a) complement their charges in one of the title compounds [Al(OH)6Mo6O18[Cu(phen)(H2O)2]2][Al(OH)6Mo6O18[Cu(phen)(H2O)Cl]2].5H2O [1c][1a].5 H2O 1. Similar charge complementarity exists in the chromium analogue, [Cr(OH)6Mo6O18[Cu(phen)(H2O)2]2][Cr(OH)6Mo6O18[Cu(phen)(H2O)Cl]2].5 H2O [2c][2a].5 H2O 2. The chloride coordination to copper centers of 1a and 2a makes the charge difference. In both compounds, the geometries around copper centers are distorted square pyramidal and those around aluminum/chromium centers are distorted octahedral. Three lattice waters, from the formation of intermolecular O-H.....O hydrogen bonds, have been shown to self-assemble into an "acyclic water trimer" in the crystals of both 1 and 2. The title compounds have been synthesized in a simple one pot aqueous wet-synthesis consisting of aluminum/chromium chloride, sodium molybdate, copper nitrate, phenanthroline, and hydrochloric acid, and characterized by elemental analyses, EDAX, IR, diffuse reflectance, EPR, TGA, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Both compounds crystallize in the triclinic space group P. Crystal data for 1: a = 10.7618(6), b = 15.0238(8), c = 15.6648(8) angstroms, alpha = 65.4570(10), beta = 83.4420(10), gamma = 71.3230(10), V = 2182.1(2) angstroms3. Crystal data for 2: a = 10.8867(5), b = 15.2504(7), c = 15.7022(7) angstroms, alpha = 64.9850(10), beta = 83.0430(10), gamma = 71.1570(10), V = 2235.47(18) angstroms3. In the electronic reflectance spectra, compounds 1 and 2 exhibit a broad d-d band at approximately 700 nm, which is a considerable shift with respect to the value of 650-660 nm for a square-pyramidal [Cu(phen)2L] complex, indicating the coordination of [M(OH)6Mo6O18]3- POM anions (as a ligand) to the monophenanthroline copper complexes to form POM-supported copper complexes 1c, 1a, 2c, and 2a. The ESR spectrum of compound 1 shows a typical axial signal for a Cu2+ (d9) system, and that of compound 2, containing both chromium(III) and copper(II) ions, may reveal a zero-field-splitting of the central Cr3+ ion of the Anderson anion, [Cr(OH)6Mo6O18]3-, with an intense peak for the Cu2+ ion.  相似文献

In all of these compounds, the [IMo6O24]5- anion is protonated or methylated selectively at O atoms shared by two Mo atoms. 合成了一新的铈砷钨酸盐[As4W40C140Ce(H2O)5]Na25·63H2O,用X射线单晶衍射法及元素分析确定了其结构。其晶胞参数为:a=3.1252(8)nm,b=2.2656(6)nm,c=1.3973(9)nm,α=β=γ90°,V=9.893(7)nm^3,空间群P21/m21/m2/n。在聚阴离子[As4W40O140Ce(H2O)5]^25-中,四个桥连WO6八面体通过相互共享两个顺式氧串联四个B-α-(AsW9O33)^9-形成环配体(As4W40O140)^28-的基本框架,四个B-α-(AsW9O33)^9-并不处在一个平面上,而是上下交错分布的。中心离子Ce(Ⅲ)未完全填充在(As4W40O140)^28-中具有八齿配位能力的S1洞穴中,而是四个桥连的WO6八面体各提供一个端基氧向Ce(Ⅲ)配位,另有五个水分子向Ce(Ⅲ)配位,Ce(Ⅲ)离子的配位数为9,该离具有C2v对称性。  相似文献

A kinetic study of [OsO(4)] reduction by aliphatic alcohols (MeOH and EtOH) was performed in a 2.0 M NaOH matrix at 298.1 K. The rate model that best fitted the UV-VIS data supports a one-step, two electron reduction of Os(VIII) (present as both the [Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)](-) and cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) species in a ratio of 0.34:0.66) to form the trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) species. The formed trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) species subsequently reacts relatively rapidly with the cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) complex anion to form a postulated [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) species according to: cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) + trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) (k+2) (k-2) 2[Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-). The calculated forward, k(+2), and reverse, k(-2), reaction rate constants of this comproportionation reaction are 620.9 ± 14.6 M(-1) s(-1) and 65.7 ± 1.2 M(-1) s(-1) respectively. Interestingly, it was found that the postulated [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) complex anion does not oxidize MeOH or EtOH. Furthermore, the reduction of Os(VIII) with MeOH or EtOH is first order with respect to the aliphatic alcohol concentration. In order to corroborate the formation of the [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) species predicted with the rate model simulations, several Os(VIII)/Os(VI) mole fraction and mole ratio titrations were conducted in a 2.0 M NaOH matrix at 298.1 K under equilibrium conditions. These titrations confirmed that the cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) and trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) species react in a 1:1 ratio with a calculated equilibrium constant, K(COM), of 9.3 ± 0.4. The ratio of rate constants k(+2) and k(-2) agrees quantitatively with K(COM), satisfying the principle of detailed balance. In addition, for the first time, the molar extinction coefficient spectrum of the postulated [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) complex anion is reported.  相似文献

The structure of the silicate Rb10[Si6O17] containing a novel dimeric cyclotrisilicate anion is reported. The compound is formed by the reaction of a mixture of SiO2 and Rb at temperatures above 700 degrees C. Systematic investigations by means of differential thermal analysis and temperature-dependent powder X-ray diffraction experiments revealed that the new compound evolved from Rb6[Si3O9], which occurred as an intermediate product. Thus, the dimeric anion [Si6O17]10- is formed by condensation of the monomeric cyclotrisilicate [Si3O9]6-. For both silicates, [Si6O17]10- and [Si3O9]6-, the characteristic ring vibration modes were observed in the IR spectrum. The structure of Rb10[Si6O17] was solved and refined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data in the orthorhombic space group Pbca (No. 61). Synthesis and structure determination of Rb10[Si6O17] bridge the gap to show that the recently reported structures of Rb14[Si4][Si6O17] and Rb14[Ge4][Si6O17] are indeed fascinating intergrowth structures of the stable oxide Rb10[Si6O17] and the Zintl phases RbSi (Rb4Si4) and RbGe (Rb4Ge4), respectively.  相似文献
