A new terpene ketone which has been called dehydroelsholtsia ketone has been isolated from the essential oil ofElsholtzia ciliata (Thumb.) Hyl. The structure of dehydroelsholtzia ketone as 3-methyl-2-(3-methylbut-2-enoyl)furan has been proposed on the basis of a study of its IR, PMR, mass and13C spectra and has been confirmed by its conversion into elsholtzia ketone.  相似文献

An analytical separation has been performed of the essential oil of the bark of one-year winter shoots ofL. sukaczewii andL. sibirica. Out of the 37 terpenes detected, 13 monoterpenes have been identified. The composition of the essential oil isolated under production conditions from the woody verdure ofLarix sibirica Lbd. growing in the Krasnoyarsk district has been studied. The bulk of the essential oil is composed of monoterpenes (84.95%). Among the sesquiterpene hydrocarbons -murolene, -humulene, and caryophyllene are present in considerable amounts. The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the essential oils of the woody verdure and bark of the Siberian fir have been studied. Investigation of the volatile fraction from the stem bark of Ocotea opifera Mart. led to the isolation and characterization of asaricin, a phenolic derivative with antifungal and insecticidal activity, as the main component, which is described for the first time for the genus Ocotea.
