Despite phase transfer catalysis (PTC) is an important and useful method in organic synthesis, asymmetric synthesis using chiral phase-transfer catalyst has not been well documented and limited number of chiral phase-transfer catalyst have been developed[1].In 1989,O'Donnell published his pioneering work in the asymmetric synthesis of α-amino acids by enantioselective alkylation of a prochiral protected glycine derivative using chiral phase-transfer catalyst[2]. Since then, several groups reported their improvements on enantioselectivity and applicability on this useful synthetic reaction[3,4]. However, almost all of the chiral phase-transfer catalysts reported so far are the derivatives of cinchona[5]. In this presentation, we wish to describe the design and synthesis of a new type of chiral phase-transfer catalyst based on the camphor and its application in asymmetric alkylation of tert-bntyl glycinate-benzophenone Schiff base.  相似文献

6-[18F]Fluoro-L-Dopa (6-FDOPA) is the analogue of L-Dopa, the biosynthesis precursor for dopamine. As a PET tracer, it was widely applied for the presynaptic dopamine function studies in human brain. The application of a chiral phase-transfer-catalyst (PTC) in enantioselective synthesis of N.C.A. 6-[18F]Fluoro-L-Dopa has been developed recently. An improved procedure was described in this study. The labeling precursor (6-Trimethylammoniumveratraldehyde Triflate) and PTC (O-Allyl-N-(9)-anthracenylcinchonidinium Bromide) were synthesized. A successful synthesis route was developed for the preparation of 6-[18F]Fluoro-L-Dopa with high radiochemical yields (4-9%, decay uncorrected) and short synthesis time(80min). The radiochemical purity was over 99% and no D-isomer was detected by HPLC analysis using a chiral mobile phase.  相似文献

Introduction The positive temperature coefficient(PTC) effect is characterized by an increase of resistivity with an elevated temperature.The PTC effect of carbon black(CB) filled polymers is useful for self-regulation heaters,over-current protectors,sensors,etc.Much work has been done on the PTC effect of the carbon black filled crystalline polymer composite[1-4],whereas carbon black filled amorphous polymers have not drawn researchers much attention because the PTC effect in these composites is small or cannot be detected[5-7].In this work,the influence of γ-ray irradiation on the PTC effect of CB filled amorphous ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer(EPDM) composites was studied.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reactions of Na2[Mo2O4EDTA].5H2O and LnCl3.6H2O produce the chiral layered lanthanide molybdate oxides pillared by the chiral cluster ligand, [Ln(H2O)MoO4]2[lambda-Mo2O4EDTA] (Ln = Gd, 1; Eu, 2; Tb, 3; Y, 4). The tetradentate molybdate bridges Ln3+ to form a square grid structure, which is pillared by the chiral cluster ligand, [lambda-Mo2O4EDTA]2-, into a 3-D chiral framework structure. Strong VCD (vibrational circular dichroism) signals confirm the chirality of the bulk oxide materials. These bimetallic oxide materials are of highly thermal stability. The magnetic interactions between the Ln3+ ions in 1 and 3 are weak antiferromagnetic.  相似文献

The racemic triangular supramolecular host [CpRh(5-chloro-2,3-dioxopyridine)](3) (1) was prepared in high yield. Treatment with LiCl followed by addition of silver salt AgOTf gave the triflate salt species [Li subset[CpRh(5-chloro-2,3-dioxopyridine)](3)][OTf] (2). Subsequent anion metathesis using the optically pure chiral shift reagent [Cinchonidinium][Delta-Trisphat] produced a pair of diastereomers [Li subset(R,R,R)-[CpRh(5-chloro-2,3-dioxopyridine)](3)][Delta-Trisphat] (3a) and [Li subset(S,S,S)-[CpRh(5-chloro-2,3-dioxopyridine)](3)][Delta-Trisphat] (3b). The resolution of these diastereomers was achieved by fractional crystallization, and their stereochemistry relationship was established by circular dichroism studies. The X-ray molecular structure of 3a is reported and shows as an outstanding feature a chiral recognition between the Delta-Trisphat anion and a single enantiomer cation [Li subset(R,R,R)-[CpRh(5-chloro-2,3-dioxopyridine)](3)](+) manifested through a pi-pi interaction. Phase Transfer Catalysis (PTC) is a powerful tool to perform reactions in a practical fashion, both in laboratory and industrial scale. Significant cost savings and major process improvements can be achieved in reactions performed under PTC conditions. In the last few years remarkable results in stereoselective reactions were achieved using chiral, non-racemic quaternary ammonium salts. Moreover, the use of bulky, chiral phosphate anions paired with achiral cations to generate lipophilic ion pairs allowed to design new avenues for the stereoselective construction of important building blocks. Hydrogen bond interactions were also shown to provide new pathways for asymmetric nucleophilic substitutions using insoluble reagents under PTC conditions. This Review will focus on recent advances in developing practical synthetic routes to construct molecules in a stereoselective fashion under PTC conditions.  相似文献

The first chiral helicene-NHC gold(I) complexes efficient in enantioselective catalysis were prepared. The L-shaped chiral ligand is composed of an imidazo[1,5-a]pyridin-3-ylidene (IPy) scaffold laterally substituted by a configurationally stable [5]-helicenoid unit. The chiral information was introduced in a key post-functionalization step of a NHC-gold(I) complex bearing a symmetrical anionic fluoreno[5]helicene substituent, leading to a racemic mixture of complexes featuring three correlated elements of chirality, namely central, axial and helical chirality. After HPLC enantiomeric resolution, X-ray crystallography and theoretical calculations enabled structural and stereochemical characterization of these configurationally stable NHC-gold(I) complexes. The high potential in asymmetric catalysis is demonstrated in the benchmark cycloisomerization of N-tethered 1,6-enynes with up to 95 : 5 er.  相似文献

Six alkali metal tris(HMDS) magnesiate complexes (HMDS, 1,1,1,3,3,3,-hexamethyldisilazide) containing chiral diamine ligands have been prepared and characterised in both the solid- and solution-state. Four of the complexes have a solvent-separated ion pair composition of the form [{M·(chiral diamine)(2)}(+){Mg(HMDS)(3)}(-)] [M = Li for 1 and 3, Na for 2 and 4; chiral diamine = (-)-sparteine for 1 and 2, (R,R)-TMCDA for 3 and 4, (where (R,R)-TMCDA is N,N,N',N'-(1R,2R)-tetramethylcyclohexane-1,2-diamine)] and two have a contacted ion pair composition of the form [{K·chiral diamine}(+){Mg(HMDS)(3)}(-)](n) [chiral diamine = (-)-sparteine for 5 and (R,R)-TMCDA for 6]. In the solid-state, complexes 1-4 are essentially isostructural, with the lithium or sodium cation sequestered by the respective chiral diamine and the previously reported anion consisting of three HMDS ligands coordinated to a magnesium centre. As such, complexes 1-4 are the first structurally characterised complexes in which the alkali metal is sequestered by two molecules of either of the chiral diamines (-)-sparteine (1 and 2) or (R,R)-TMCDA (3 and 4). In addition, complex 4 is a rare (R,R)-TMCDA adduct of sodium. In the solid state, complexes 5 and 6 exist as polymeric arrays of dimeric [{K·chiral diamine}(+){Mg(HMDS)(3)}(-)](2) subunits, with 5 adopting a two-dimensional net arrangement and 6 a linear arrangement. As such, complexes 5 and 6 appear to be the only structurally characterised complexes in which the chiral diamines (-)-sparteine (5) or (R,R)-TMCDA (6) have been incorporated within a polymeric framework. In addition, prior to this work, no (-)-sparteine or (R,R)-TMCDA adducts of potassium had been reported.  相似文献

The use of mass spectrometry for chiral recognition and quantification has attracted great interest owing to its speed, sensitivity, specificity, and tolerance. However, searching for chiral selectors in chiral analyses using mass spectrometry is still problematic. In this study, chiral drugs could be applied as references for the chiral recognition and enantiomeric quantification of valsartan and voriconazole. Two novel pairs of metal-bound diastereomeric complex ions were detected by mass spectrometry, namely, nickel (II)-bound dimeric ions [NiII (2R,5S-emtricitabine) (S-valsartan)-H]+ and [NiII (2R,5S-emtricitabine) (R-valsartan)-H]+ and copper (II)-bound dimeric ions [CuII (S,S,S-enalaprilat) (2S,3R-voriconazole)-H]+ and [CuII (S,S,S-enalaprilat) (2R,3S-voriconazole)-H]+. The resulting diastereomers were successfully identified based on the relative intensities of their characteristic fragments using tandem mass spectrometry. The logarithm of the characteristic fragment ion abundance ratio exhibited a good linear relationship with the enantiomeric excess. Density functional theory calculations were also performed to elucidate the mechanism of the structural differences observed in the MS results. This established approach proves that chiral drugs can serve as ligands for the rapid recognition and quantitative analysis of other chiral drugs without a chiral chromatographic column or complex sample pretreatment.  相似文献

The chiral [5-(4-hydroxybutyl)-5′-methyl-2,2′-bipyridine]-bis(2,2′-bipyridine)-ruthenium(II)-bis(hexafluoroantimonate) complex 3 was prepared and characterized by different NMR techniques and successfully separated into enantiomers by electrokinetic chromatography using anionic carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin as chiral mobile phase additive (CMPA). The optimum separation conditions were obtained with 40 mM borate buffer at pH 9.5 and 7.5 mg/mL of the chiral selector at 20°C.  相似文献

The syntheses, structures, and magnetic properties of compounds of formula [Fe(III)(5-Clsal(2)-trien)][Mn(II)Cr(III)(ox)(3)]·0.5(CH(3)NO(2)) (1), [Fe(III)(5-Brsal(2)-trien)][Mn(II)Cr(III)(ox)(3)] (2), and [In(III)(5-Clsal(2)-trien)][Mn(II)Cr(III)(ox)(3)] (3) are reported. The structure of the three compounds, which crystallize in the orthorhombic P2(1)2(1)2(1) chiral space group, presents a 3D chiral anionic network formed by Mn(II) and Cr(III) ions linked through oxalate ligands with inserted [Fe(III)(5-Clsal(2)-trien)](+), [Fe(III)(5-Brsal(2)-trien)](+), and [In(III)(5-Clsal(2)-trien)](+) cations. The magnetic properties indicate that the three compounds undergo long-range ferromagnetic ordering at ca. 5 K. On the other hand, the inserted Fe(III) cations undergo a partial spin crossover in the case of 1 and 2.  相似文献

A family of novel chiral "calixsalen" Schiff base macrocycles R,R-H(3)L4, R,R-H(3)L5, containing three chiral diamino moieties were synthesized by an efficient self-assembly and characterized by (1)H and (13)C NMR, mass spectrometry, and X-ray diffraction. A new type of efficient chiral catalyst has been elaborated for asymmetric C-alkylation of CH acids under PTC conditions. Sodium alkoxides formed from chiral derivatives of tartaric acid and aminophenols (TADDOL's 2a-e and NOBIN's 3a-h) can be used as chiral catalysts in the enantioselective alkylation, as exemplified by the reaction of Schiff's bases 1a-e derived from alanine esters and benzaldehydes with active alkyl halides. Acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of the products formed in the reaction afforded (R)-alpha-methylphenylalanine, (R)-alpha-naphthylmethylalanine, and (R)-alpha-allylalanine in 61-93% yields and with ee 69-93%. The procedure could be successfully scaled up to 6 g of substrate 1b. When (S,S)-TADDOL or (R)-NOBIN are used, the (S)-amino acids are formed. A mechanism rationalizing the observed features of the reaction has been suggested.  相似文献

The infrared and vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectra of six chiral oxorhenium(V) complexes, bearing a hydrotris(1-pyrazolyl)borate (Tp) ligand, have been investigated. These complexes are promising candidates for observation of parity violation (symmetry breaking due to the weak nuclear force). New chiral oxorhenium complexes have been synthesized, namely, [TpReO(eta2-O(CH3)CH2CH2O-O,O)] (4a and 4b) diastereomers and [TpReO(eta2-N(CH3)CH2CH2O-N,O)] (5) and [TpReO(eta2-N(tBu)CH2CH2O-N,O)] (6) enantiomers. All compounds could be obtained in enantiomerically pure form by using either column chromatography or HPLC over chiral columns. VCD spectroscopy of these compounds and of [TpReO(eta2-N(CH3)CH(CH3)CH(Ph)O-N,O)] (2) and [TpReO(eta2-N(CH2)3CHCO2-N,O)] (3) (with chiral bidentate ligands derived, respectively, from ephedrine and proline) were studied. This allowed the absolute configuration determination of all compounds together with their conformational analysis, by comparing calculated and experimental spectra. This is the first VCD study of rhenium complexes which further demonstrates the applicability of VCD spectroscopy in determining the chirality of inorganic complexes.  相似文献
